Raeshlavik
http://crowfall.com I'm planning on rulling this game when it launches... If you're an old Shadowbane or Ultima Online PVPer, if you think offing your opponent should allow you to desecrate his corpse and take his stuff, if you feel making stuff in game should be the basis of economic and political power, or if you think building a kingdom from blood and sweat and defending the same from some of the most hardcore killers to ever wield a pixel sword is your cup of tea, check it out. The full reveal is tomorrow - you might find what these guys have planned to be interesting. ;)
Odin047
Sounds interesting, but many devs make many promises, most games do not live up to their promises.
Raeshlavik
Too true. My only real hope is hinging on the fact the guys making it are the same folks that did Shadowbane - so their goals are really just extrapolations of what they already did versus inventing new systems. I'm 'cautiously optimistic'. :) Odin047
Angelin01
Looks interesting... Keep an eye on it for us will ya? We can probably look more into after it's released
Raeshlavik
I picked up one of the upper tiers for the kickstarter (Yes, I believe!), which grants quite a bit of virtual turf for city building... If anyone picks up for Alpha or later, drop me a note and I'll hook you up.
qoheleth
I agree that this looks promising and that the developers are saying a lot of the right things. I worry that their models for encouraging and iterating "emergent gameplay" will require a large and stable player population, much moreso than "themepark" MMOs.
