Building & Cleaning-Up

Recommended Posts

1. The front lines is not an appropriate place to build projects.

2. Building on a small AND large scale is best done in the lowest level of the base.

3. Clean up your projects after you have finished building.

Firstly: If you are going to build, the front line is not an appropriate place. It distracts others from their role on defense and can often get in the way and generally cause clustering in the line. It is also -not- safe and you are likely to be killed if a random hostile comes in and opens fire while you're standing out in the open.

Secondly: We have a perfectly good base, with sub floors that currently see next to no use - including the large chamber that leads into our meeting room. That is safe, out of the way, where it will not distract people, in a location in which you will not be shot. Use it.

The third note is most especially important. Half-finished structures left unattended, especially at the front line, are detrimental to our front line by being distracting, and usually either by taking away vital room to maneuver or to deploy armor, or giving the enemy more cover at vital entryways by taking away firing positions.

So please. Clean-up.

Here is what I see as an issue. We come up with a reminder on this every 1-2 months. Perhaps this needs to be enumerated in the SOP, or the handbook. In otherwords, we shouldn't have to keep telling people :/

Perhaps taught in schola?

I think that being taught in Schola would be a really good idea, get people as they join so they can take everything in all at once instead of having to revisit old material every so often. :)
