Curia is currently accepting prospective candidates for the position of Lictor. A Lictor is the investigative arm of Curia. Duties include but are not restricted to, Information gathering, interviewing, report writing, anything required by the Consuls(does not require getting coffee, or other things for Consuls).

Do you think you can be a Lictor? Here are some guidelines that will be followed in choosing the successful candidates.

-Must be at least E-4.

-Have a clean incident free previous three(3) months.

-Can handle drama well, and not add to it.

-Must realize a investigation within Curia lasts at maximum three days and is able to finish a quality report within that time.

-Good work ethic and understanding that tardiness in handing in reports is hazardous to ones sl health.

-Are not members of another special services branch(Praetorian Guard/Frumentarii).

-Have a drive to move higher within Curia if selected.

All interested parties that have passed the above criteria will be required to write a report on a topic of Consul choosing. Plagiarism will result in automatic denial, and if necessary further punishment. All sources are to be documented, and submitted with your report. Late submissions will not be considered.

The topic is as follows: The creation of the Praetorian Guard.

Subjects we will be looking for.

-Predecessor group's name and function.

-First Praefectus and Praetorians.

-Primary function of the guard at inception.

-The guards evolution from AN2 though to the current incarnation.

I will not inform you how to find this information, that is up to you, but these subjects must be completed or you will be docked.
