I was hoping to pick it up today... but the money I was waiting on yesterday didnt show... so I'm stuck without it for at least a few more days. SUCKISH.
BUT at least this will give Bethesda time to put out some of the rumored early bug fixing patches I've heard about.

I will admit. I am regretting paying 150 for my SWTOR collectors edition, especialy with christmas comming up. WHY? I do think TOR will be amazing. BUT I really think I'm not in the mood for an MMO of any genre. I am really feeling the Skyrim theme though.

Then I look at Skyrim... then TOR... then Skyrim. AND I CURSE THE FATES!

I talked to him. He persued 39th becuase he really felt it held some sort of cultural heritage for him. BUT the bonds of Ordo as family, our activity level, and our professional nature could not be replaced.
I told him a simple truth. Most people of quality, who leave Ordo, end up returning. And I think those of us who knew him, agree. This guy can go far with the right support. And the Ordo is unsurpassed in how we support each other. And he learned that.
He lamented leaving us. And I pointed out to him. "this is part of your learning process"... but I'm STILL gonna kick his ass.

After a months growth, my beard doesnt get thick. Which is supprising considering how naturally hairy the rest of my body is. BUT I am prone to getting a very dark, very condensed beard of very coarse, short, curly hair. And yes I regularly go a month without shaving, so no shave november is easy for me. THOUGH I can shave my head right? RIGHT? I mean I do have a mohawk to maintain.

You got me in the background in two shots, but in my less visually appealing 7th costume of hte day, instead of the highly pleasant 6th I spent most of the night in. AND you got my in the BACKGROUND of those two shots. No love from the kitteh. More time for me as a werewolf then I guess.

SO I have no idea what it would take for us to found, or refound, an Ordo Imperialis corporation. Anyone out there in the know? And then there is the question of if enough of us (at least 5 I would guess as most of the corps I see advertised in game seem around that number) are even interested?
I for one am interested. And intend to remain a miner for the forseeable future. THOUGH I admit I require guidance on how best to achieve it.

Yeah in most games, scamming players would be considered bad form, BUT reading some of the roles/races/classes type information... yeah I fully expect scaming to be encouraged. I mean this is a corporation based game after all. If anything, the game needs some system where a scammed player can attempt to recover their losses from said scammer via courts. So player to player scamming can be solved basicly in an IC fashion, though Corporation to player scamming will be damned hard to prove.. just like RL!
Though I heard a story from Zerowinged... a guy, newbie, had his ship blown up by one corporation. Recorded their name. Later on, managed to not only be forgotten by them, BUT managed to work his way into them. Spent so much time, and effort earning their trust that they eventualy made him a Skymarshal. And then their available ships went missing and their bank accounts drained. Overnight the corporation collapsed. The epitome of slow, cold, revenge. And this is what the game is.

I am with Rogers, one of hte major canadian companies.
In short its not worth it. Like all Canadian ISPs, it engages in over charging.
The idea of Steam is HORRIBLE with Rogers. Just playing WoW, with all its patches, I regularly got near enough to my bandwidth caps to be warned, only hit my bandwidth cap twice. And considering how much their overuse charges are, yeah, thats the main reason I fear using Steam. I do NOT want to download everything and be charged out the ass. Speed wise, I got no complaints. Connectivity is good. Just bandwidth is horrible. And I pay 60 bucks a month.

Reading the posts of others, who clearly have more knowledge about the Air industry than I, I am backing out of this exercise. Thinking of things I wouldnt, is one thing. But knowing the procedures for landing, or that they have a deicing procedure, well I didnt know that stuff!

As well.. that bathroom implies a toilet made of porcelain (I mean look at the basket weave above his head, or hte pretty picture on the shelf behind him. or even the basket next to him, which you can assume containes pretty smelling soap). A true marine in space armor... well I DOUBT the floor of most wooden built houses woudl support him.. its CLEAR this man is an imposter and not Agares.

1, have a team interview all survivors, cross-reference stories when completed
2, send all reckage of the plane for analysis for evidence of structural flaws that might have existed before the crash
3, send one team to find the black box and analyze it
4, send one team to scour the area for the missing wings, send these out for analysis when found
5, contact appropriate agencies and airports to find out all necessary reports of air traffic in that area, and a recording of all communications from that craft
6, have a team scout the area in the direction the plane had been comming from for anyhtign that might have caused electrical interference
7, contact weather stations for report on weather in the area for the past few hours

I guess hte question is then, if the APC is meant to move troops, WHY does it have such heavy armaments? Should it not have its equipment stripped down to something less MBT appropriate becuase we KNOW from experiece, that anything we have that someone external can use to target us with drama, will do just that. So downgrade the APC's weapons, so it is JUST an APC, and no one outside Ordo has anything to throw a drama fit over?

Not true. Really, the armor of the Praesidium, may be CLASSED as light, but it functions as heavier armor than the tyrant. And I think that is one of Radryls main points.
I know Huttser and Radryl had been experimenting with the Praesidum and Tyrant today, and from what I heard, in a head to head, the Tyrant was teh Praesidiums prison b*%ch

Personally, I would lean towards a 2 day thing myself.. the costume-optional raid(s) on one day (prehaps see if more sims are interested too), and an actual open invite party the next. BUT thats me. I guess final say on it should come from Aryte.
