  1. Android

Maps on the iOS is not google-based, and from what I hear, the Maps app on the Android Platform is much more fully featured than the one on the iOS.

Not to mention that most of the apps that are free on the Android are not free on the iOS (Angry Birds for example).

That is why I have Google Earth and Google Maps on my iPad

  2. Ordo Roundel or Ironsight logo on the rearward panel of the cover, displayed when in the closed position. National/State Flag of choice in the forward panel in same configuration (If US flag, or any flag that has a discernible side that is posted closest to the mast, the Field goes forward).

"E'ryday I'm Shufflin'" split between the two panels when in the open position.

  3. If this is inappropriate for the Offline section, please move it.

I would just like to put up a simple topic of reflection. Not of the events that occurred eleven years ago, but more what everyone had planned for their life before the events that happened, and how those plans changed after the events.

Myself, I was young, and thinking of a short term of service in the Military. I did not know what branch at that time, but I saw it as my gateway to a future career in Law Enforcement with either the local Police Department or the Sheriff.

Reflect, but please keep it civil.

  4. Jojo? He's around. Running with the Mando'ade :P. Came back for the RP myself but eh, some bad juju has ruined it for me as of late.

I've seen him, on off days. If things pick up for the better, I might join in on the thrill that is the Mechanical precision of the Empire. Try and take my rank back, again, for the fifth time. (been shot from Surface Marshal, to Colonel, to Warrant, back to Colonel, left then came back as Colonel, then Surface Marshal, to where I am right now, in limbo.)

  5. Uhhh, I don't use my account...but it's been inactive for some time. I remember having a Ferox some Merlin based Assault ships and frigates. I think I was trying to get autocannons at one point. I do remember people wondering how I could have such and such set up on my ships, with out certain skills, it wasn't possible.

I'll see if I can remember the info. PM if interested.

  6. I broke the pin that held the front sight in place. Took a shot and it suddenly flew right out.

    I'll probably never get to hold it again. ;~;

From the way the 1911 works, it was a defect in the front sight, which is covered under warranty (or it's supposed to be). There was no way you could be at fault, Mr Shark. I have known some temperamental firearms though...a few Bi-Polar ones too.

  7. My argument is that FPS's on consoles Ffffing suck dick and consoles are holding back the industry's progression.

Also, everything is "dumbed down" for console gamers. Watered down for fear of alienating group. I play console games, but only rarely, when that one gem comes out that isn't on PC. Like Red Dead Redemption.

    +1 to Krow.

FPS on PC are dying due to the Console Craze. FPS will always be better on a PC, hands down. Before the console FPS there was no 'aim assist'. It was even tested with one game, a combination of PC and Console gamers. The Console gamers lost dramatically to the PC gamers. The PC is more accurate, precise, modifiable and intuitive gaming platform.

Is development for a Console easier? Yes. Does it bank the company more than it would for PC development? Yes. Does it close off potential for people to play it on an adaptable system? Yes. The last question very much deals with the audience scope of a game, when you make it that exclusive, you force people into buying a new gaming platform that is due to be replaced soon. That money they could have spent on buying PC games like ArmA 2 or upgrade their system to play newer games. The net goal is money for the companies and not enjoyment and entertainment for the people. Which should be the premise of a game in the first place, provide a virtual world where people must face challenges and have fun doing it, getting a sense of gratification in success.

    TL;DR:

It would be badass if you could switch fluidly from EVE to EVE: Dust 514 on a PC.
