I upped to 8.1 a few months ago and everything runs the same as it has been running... Here's some things I do and don't do...
- I don't use any apps from the app store, or use any of Win 8's tablet/phone looking features/programs.
- I use my computer just as I would Win 7, aside the start screen being 'different'.
- I don't run anything else in the background unless it's necessary. No game overlay, no extra programs that aren't essential.
- I keep all my drivers up to date and run necessary/beneficial driver programs.
- I don't use any live desktop/startmenu features and I have aero turned off. (Looks like classic windows)
- Make sure your task manager doesn't have things running you don't recognize, and turn off those you don't need in MSConfig.
Here's some things you could do...
- Update all your drivers, including your onboard/motherboard / CPU drivers (often overlooked).
- Run programs in admin mode, even some games run better with it.
- Make sure the games/programs that need it can communicate with the internet properly.
- Turn off things you don't use, or aren't necessary.
- Look into any of my above practices...

I recall some older ideas an projects, but with the internet, crowdsourcing and now more experience in game development now days it could be far more viable.

As the title says im not going to be playing PS2 for Terran republic but its not permanent I am still loyal to the TR. The reason is my friends prefer the Vanu but do not like the Terran. So i might be out for a couple of days or a week. ( plus school etc. etc. etc.)
In time, you will learn it's not about the side you choose, but the people you play with. While TR is not always the best and is horribly under favored by the devs. Don't get stuck following the crowd when one faction is better than another. Find some dedication and loyalty to one and stick to it through thick and thin. Then bring in people of your own to better it.
Also keep in mind we're a gaming community, so don't be afraid to still come around and play other games with us. We'll always be here doing something!

A friend invited me to this game, it's pretty interesting. Like Geocaching (if you know what that is) it's a in life environment game. While you're out doing things you can seek portals and resources nearby, hack them, secure them and all that. There's even codes and puzzles to decode and figure out. I chose Enlightened due to my friend doing the same, but it's also more in lines with the Ordo. Embrace the advancement, join me in enhancing the future, become a receptive of our order!

For you Wnamp fans...
I've personally used Winamp since '98 of which I built my own first computer and it's been mostly the same since. This isn't only relevant to myself but to others I know and to the history of media players. I wasn't a big fan of AOL picking up Nullsoft, owner of Winamp and Shoutcast, but they've kept it to the standard It started with.
A few months ago, AOL, in all their wisdom announced they were letting go of Winamp and Shoutcast and shutting down it's services for it, Shoutcast has thousands of channels. Since then, people have been downloading the latest version possible and looking for answers hoping someone will pick it up, save it or come out with something similar. After plenty of interest from other companies like Microsoft, it seems an agreement of ownership has been reached and Radionomy will be taking up the reins.
May there always be whipped lama's

Thanks to my parents, I've never really been a fan of New Years resolutions, We've always believed change and willingness to improve is continual no matter what time of the year it is, but here we can look at some goals for the coming year, what's yours?

Mine this year...- Continued work to build up and create a better play environment and group of the Ordo Imperialis.
- Drink less soda. (don't drink much already)
- Cook more / eat less junk.
- Get a better job, get a new place.
