I am fully agreed with Agares. Assaults are forceful charges on a position in an attempt to break through. Mines, claymores, booby traps, that would be best in the engineering pack. Although, I do like the idea of a napalm/incindiary grenade. I can see an assault team throw one (or more) into a bunker that houses an enemy TP point to cut off that avenue while they charge. As far as what to use for the marker... how about a tall, thin, phantom mega prim? something that can be seen and used to indicate things.
