▶ Introduction
 
With the growing diversity of our participation, the reoccurring challenge has been to find a meaningful way to reward dedicated members with a tangible asset. While we have consistently seen that Ordo members are incredibly altruistic, there is certainly no reason why extraordinary performance cannot be attached to an incentive. In the past, we have often provided options within a given game chapter. For example, the purchase of game time cards or station cash on Planetside 2. However, the issue arose and continues to arise when we run into the "wall." In other words, an extremely motivated member might go above and beyond on game X, but there may only be incentives available for game Y. That just simply is not fair in our eyes.
 
Ascension Points (AP) is our answer to that disparity. AP is a living, internal currency intended to be delved out and spent on a wide range of potential items. As it is a community level registry, AP follows a member from game to game: your AP earned in Planetside 2 is the same AP you will use on ESO or SWTOR. That way, no matter where you decide to contribute toward the group, you have equal potential to receive commendation to be utilized on items you might desire.

▶ Methodology
 
Ascension Points will be earned by members of the Ordo Imperialis through a number of avenues, including (but not limited to):
Stated incentives for actions (ex: recruit X number of people). Receiving a commendation / merit. Recognition for performance in an event (ex: most valuable member of a raid). Periodic random selections requiring participation (ex: random draw of a name during weekly meeting).  
Each community officer will be budgeted a number of AP to award out to members of the group on a monthly basis. If a given game chapter lacks a community officer, but is at least a platoon in size, a budget will be afforded to the selected leadership of the given chapter. All transactions will be transparent, posted on a centralized blotter in order to ensure proper accounting.
 
There will be two levels of "shops" available to Ordo Imperialis members. In general, the kind of items one might find are:
Community level: anything unrelated to a specific (existing) chapter, such as additional games or miscellaneous computer hardware. Chapter level: anything related to the specific game, such as game time cards, premium currencies, or in-game items.  
The community level shop will be located under the primary forum thread, whereas the chapter level shops will be listed under the primary thread for each respective game. The threads will follow this format: [ABBRV] Shop - Update DDMMYY.
 
Purchases will be available in one of two manners:
Direct transaction: the item(s) will have a set AP price, available for purchase at any time provided the item(s) are currently stocked. Direct transactions are initiated by simply posting in the given shop thread. Auction: the item(s) will have a base AP price, but will be open for auction for a given time period (not less than 24 hours, but not greater than 72 hours) to permit competition. Auction proceedings will be carried out in the same forum area as the shop, utilizing the format title: [ABBRV] AUCTION - Item Name - EXP DDMMYY HHMM PST.  
Auctions can and will be utilized to control inflation of AP balances. In addition, if a direct transaction item proves to be consistently purchased (or is exceeding budgeted levels), said item may become an auction piece.
 
Management of the AP balances will be handled by the community officer staff on a routine basis, with updates and delivery of items as possible pertaining to the schedule of the officers responsible. AP will not be deducted from a member's balance until confirmation of delivery is made.

Good evening! We will be discussing this tonight (05APR14) during the main meeting, but the general idea is here for those who miss the conversation. Please feel free to toss out your thoughts here, we love feedback and look forward to receiving your input.
 
 

Alright so I thought i would give this a shot. It is my first shot at writing a guide of any kind so there will be some trial and error. Bare with me and we will see about getting this slimmed down to perfection.
 
So the first thing I would like to point out is that the adds that you have to go through to get to the first boss are not difficult but they are not easy either. In the first room with the droids you want to CC what you can. The droid in the back right ( The Malfunctioning Control Droid ) will be your first target. From there if you look in the video below you want to move in a counter clockwise direction until the last haywire droid is down. You should repeat this with the second group. When it comes to the larva in the next area what you would like to do here is have one of your tanks area taunt and then the second tank single taunt the big guy away from the little ones. If the big one explodes by the little ones then they will grow up and become a little more difficult.
 



 
You will then run up the ramp and meet a bunch more adds. Just run by them. You do not have to kill them and they will evade when it comes down to it. However, it is now time for the first boss. The Writhing Horror.
 
The Horror has 957k hit points in 8 man story mode and 1.76k in 8 man hard mode. Each jealous male that spawns will have about 85k in 8 man hard mode. I will be talking about the hard mode mechanics here so bare with me as I go over some very important details.
 
So the horror will burrow during the fight and be moving to places that will be outlined in an image in the spoiler below. Tanks will need to use a gap closer ( force leap, force speed, ect. ) to get to the boss as soon as possible when she reappears. If this does not happen the boss will spit goo at the raid and it will cause raid wide damage.
 



 
The next mechanic that will happen will be the Jealous Male and the Foul Offspring will spawn. During the fight red text will appear across the screen letting you know that the Jealous Male has spawned. This is when your assigned DPS/Healer will run to a red circle ( will be covered in a bit ) to attract the foul offspring while the tank that was on the boss ( the one that has the debuff ) moves to the Jealous Male. This is where the tank swap will occur. Every time the Jealous Male appears the tanks will swap from the boss to the Jealous Male. It has been noted that the first Jealous Male & adds spawn about 45 seconds into the fight. Second will spawn 2:15 into the fight ( 1:30 from the first add round ). Third at 3:45 ( 1:30 from second wave ). Fourth at 5:15. The image below will be what you see across your screen.
 



 
There will be three different debuffs that you will be on the lookout for. They will be explained in the spoiler below.
 



 
 
There will come a point in the fight ( usually at 10% but it has been known to happen anywhere between 5-15% ) that you will notice twisted spawn will appear. At this point tanks can try to tank them but the attention should be on burning the boss as soon as possible. The enrage timer for the Horror is 5:45. What should be your last ( 4th ) red pool would be dropped at 5:15 into the fight. Please remember that too many twisted spawns will wipe the raid.

I first wanted to say that this is going to be me rambling about some might consider nothing important but I just thought I would share. I have not slept yet tonight and while awake I thought of the most important thing I could pass on. For those that do not know I am the mother of a now 11 year old. When I first joined Ordo I just thought it was a guild on a game. I have since found a gaming community followed by a family. I didn't know that people could actually care as much as I do about others online.
 
I was sitting in the TOR channel one day and Xoza mentioned the codex and I had never bothered to read it before and I'm honestly glad he did. When I read it at first I skimmed it and then something caught my eye.
 
➡ [Title II] Standard of Brotherhood
It shall be the expectation that members of the Ordo Imperialis support other members of the Ordo Imperialis against the actions or accusations of outsiders. It shall not be acceptable to aid or abet others in seeking the detriment of another Ordo member.

➡ [Title III] Standard of Respect
Members of the Ordo Imperialis must afford all individuals, whether another Ordo member or not, appropriate reverence and politeness. It shall not be acceptable to demean or attack others in a malicious manner.

➡ [Title IV] Standard of Integrity
All members of the Ordo Imperialis shall be expected to exhibit sound integrity in all interactions. This includes, but is not limited to exercising sound decision making and exhibiting honesty.
 
These three things caused me to stop and head right back to the beginning and read it from start to finish. When I was done with it I had decided to start applying it not only in the games I was playing but outside of it as well. I applied it to my life outside of the internet. Everywhere I go I apply the 9 Titles that have been laid out before us to the best of my abilities ( within reason that can be applied outside of the internet ). I have even go so far as to start instilling them into my daughters life. I never thought that when Jundani recruited me that I would be doing this almost 9 months later.
 
I guess in all my ramblings in this post is a big thank you to all of you here at Ordo for not only helping me improve my life, my daughter's life, but also helping me improve the lives of those around me by leading as an example of what a honorable and devoted person should be.

Lots of the members here have tried Elder Scrolls Online and do not plan on using our beta keys, or some of us received extra keys. I have 3 beta keys and have two beta keys to give away for anyone who is interested. If anyone has not played the beta yet and would like to please message me as soon as possible. For those of you I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting, please allow me to introduce myself. Some years ago, on the desolate waste that is known as Second Life, I had this silly notion that leading an internet community sounded like a good expenditure of my time. Seven years later, well . . . here we are! For the majority of the Ordo's existence, I did a lot of the wheel turning around here. No doubt, someone has probably told you horrible tales about mischief involving me. Most of the stories are probably true, especially if it starts with the line "this one time, Aryte was drunk." If there is one thing that can be said, I like to have a good time. But I also like to win while having a good time.

 

That's really the underlining idea behind the Ordo. We are here to take names, have a good time doing it, and build lasting friendships in the process.

 

Since August of 2013, I have been on a bit of a prolonged hiatus on account of joining the Army. I have a couple months left of training before I am in a more amiable environment to run around on the internet again consistently. Thankfully, that puts me in a prime position to sidle back in just prior to the release of a couple big titles that I have my eyes on.

 

Upon my return, I will certainly wade in and make all available effort to improve your experience here. I have no intent to shake up existing structure--provided it is working well! However, what you can expect from me can be broken down into three simple points:

 

Efficiency: I love the simplicity of order and the order of simplicity. I am my happiest when chain of command and structure make sense, are getting things done, and serve to improve your game-play experience. We are here to provide focus, direction, and motivation so that you as a member can hone in on simply having a good time.
 

Consistency: No one wants to be part of a community that applies its standards and expectations partially. Reputation is a very important part of any group. The Ordo will always strive to be known as an honorable, fair, and decisive organization.
 

Growth: Everyone has heard the idea that "more, the merrier." I am a strong believer in that. I am here to bring more folks into the fold, expand our horizons, and increase the number of individuals we get to interact with. There is nothing quite like having a big family of friends who you can go forth and experience new things with.
 

Tentatively, I am due back sometime around March 18th. In the interim, life will go on here just as it always has: the officers will govern in my spirit. For those of you eying TESO, it is highly probable you will have to endure me at a constant. I am aiming to make that "my" direct leadership venue for the foreseeable future! Otherwise, I also will continue to haunt Planetside 2 and whatever else I can find time to poke around on.

As you can tell my nickname is faardor (which stems from a roleplay character of SL SWRP) and signed up for the SW TOR part of the guild after being persuaded by a SL friend of mine (that would be Ren / Kullastia / Kal'liope) to join Ordo. I figured why not since a couple of other SL SWRP friends are in the guild.

 

I am a big star wars geek and speak a lot of mando'a (aka mandalorian for those that dont know) and am pretty well into the culture to consider myself a mandalorian realist. I am not sure if that is a proper term but I basically translate it to this: I, in the real world, believe in the six tenants and the honor based (warrior) society revolving around it and try to follow the mandalorian code as much as I can. (although getting armor is gonna be a tough one lol)

 

Some of you might already know me if you RP in SWRP, some might me through the stories and jokes I tell ren who then tells to the people shes usually hanging out with on Teamspeak. I dont know why but people tend to think im funny. I am a big geek, female gamer (the other terms are kinda derogatory) and a sci-fi nerd as I not only love star wars but I also love star trek and even watched all the series + movies. DS9 being my favorite series. And I love both the Jem'hadar and the Klingon culture. I also like to read up on warhammer 40k every once in a while and am somewhat of an enthusiast into things related to the Tau and the Sisters of battle

 

If you want to swoon me over you gotta be wearing some thick beskar'gam, speak the language and have a good sense of honor.

Jokes aside if you want to know more just ask, I consider myself an open book, be careful however, I have been told I have more balls than most of the men that RP in SWRP and I am not afraid to voice an opinion on something or someone and be brutally honest.w
