I would like to state that Curia is NOT psychic despite popular opinion. We cannot read your minds and see what things are wrong. We can take a guess from heresay and 5 weeks after the fact. But this is hardly efficient nor acceptable. The investigation over the previous weeks on an individual brought out more than the orginal incident we were investigating. Things we never even knew happened. Therefore if you want something done, don't wait for Justice or myself to come and ask cause we won't unless we know something is wrong. I have no idea that in vent so and so called you a bitch and it hurt your feelings. If there is something wrong please report it to Justice or myself. Neither of us are psychic and I'm quite certain we don't want to know whats going on in your head most of the time(Firefox) looking for what's wrong. There is a website you can submit Incident reports to Curia for they are only visible to Consul's and Aryte so you do not have to worry about someone out for revenge. We also accept notecards and IM's. If you are worried about your name coming up to the person you reported I will have you know that we keep your name confidential so that drama does not start between you and the accused. So in conclusion...IF YOU DON'T REPORT THINGS TO A CURIA CONSUL, NOTHING WILL PROBABLY HAPPEN!

On December 27th, I will be accepting people interested in becoming a Lictor. Guidelines for a Lictor are as follows. -Not a part of Frumentarii, or the Guard. -Realizes that rising through Curia to higher positions may require sole Curia enrollment stay for Schola. -Lictors can retain their alpha squad and divisional ties. -Must be at least E-4 -Have a good grasp of the English language. -Realize 1337 speak and lulz speak are not accepted. -A clean record for previous 3 months. -Must be motivated to gain all knowledge possible on a subject given to them. Curia Lictor Duties. -Investigation of prospective applicants. -Interviewing of individuals. -Report writing. -Anything a Consul may require of their investigative or clerical abilities. You may ask questions to me before the 27th but I will not consider anyone for the position until after the 27th. I will decide on the new Lictor on January 2nd, 2009.

My college was laptop friendly but you generally had to use their laptops which were rented to you and you had the option of buying them at the end of the year for a dollar. All the tables were changed to have power and network adapters imbedded into them all the building was made wireless for the laptops that couldn't get a table with ports. To ban laptops totally would be a good idea if goofing off is a problem in the class but then again a cheap way to rectify it is to get the kids to close their laptops during class. =p
