  1. The termination date has been apparently pushed back a day or two; I think there's a better chance now that I'll have another month with the internet.

As for the offer, Sera. I appreciate it very, very much, but no thank you. I will do it on my own, but your offer is very nice.

  2. Introduction

    [17:59] Aryte Vesperia: Alrighty.

[17:59] Aryte Vesperia: Let's get to it.

[17:59] Aryte Vesperia: For those of you here who've never experienced one of these meetings:

[17:59] Aryte Vesperia: We hold weekly gatherings, most every Saturday, at 6:00 PM SLT.

[18:00] Aryte Vesperia: During which, we basically recap on the week, bring up topics to discuss, and announce promotions.

[18:00] Aryte Vesperia: To begin with, I usually give a short report on the status of the organization. After which, all of the divisions report in.

[18:00] Aryte Vesperia: We then move on to keynote business and discussion.

[18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Finally, of course, we announce promotions. See what I did there? You have to sit through it to find out.

    [18:01] Karla Jigsaw: Damn

[18:01] Aryte Vesperia: I do ask that everyone remain quiet until given the opportunity to interrupt.

[18:01] Keystone Gray: I see what you did there

[18:01] Aryte Vesperia: If you comment randomly, answer my rhetorical questions, gesture emote, talk out of turn . .

[18:01] Aryte Vesperia: I'll have Tiridates kill you in your sleep.

    [18:01] Agares Tretiak: Or me.

    [18:01] Karla Jigsaw: :(

[18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Now that we have that out of the way!

    Imperator's Report

[18:02] Aryte Vesperia: On to my weekly report.

[18:03] Aryte Vesperia: I'm happy to say we're up to 219 in membership-- not counting Eazy, whom is still banned, magically, for owing LL 5 dollars. Three or so re-apps are pending currently, with six . . seven new folks this week.

[18:03] Aryte Vesperia: We're down two. Underdog Sonic was ejected by me for being ridiculously inactive.

[18:03] Aryte Vesperia: The other was a membership termination, to which you can all view on the forums.

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Combat this week has been pretty solid. We didn't engage as frequent, but, what fights did occur were fairly entertaining.

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: We did have several enjoyable battles with the Republic of Germany, who are pretty new targets for us.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: For those of you with us today for the first time: welcome! Kraa, Willamca, Surreal, Lupus.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: I probably missed a couple!

    Divisional Reports

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right on to division reports. Volunteers?

    Navis

[18:06] Ethan Schuman: I'll go first, if you please sir.

    [18:06] Lestat Umarov: I'll go

    [18:06] Lestat Umarov: bah

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Ethan, go right ahead. For Navis.

[18:06] Ethan Schuman: Navis has the following matters to report this week:

[18:06] Ethan Schuman: As most of you know, Syl Kiranov has been working tirelessly upon a new ship for Navis. The Thanatos bomber, as it is now named, is a physical flight sit vehicle not dissimilar to aircraft currently fielded by most military organizations. Armed with a 3m rocket launcher for the pilot, and a chaingun turret with 10m bombs for the gunner, the Thanatos has been designed from the ground up to increase Navis deployment viability. While this may seem like a greater than standard amount of firepower for an aircraft, the ship's weapon systems were carefully selected for a multitude of reasons. One primary reason is to keep a Navis focus on teamwork and coordination with multiple seat vechiles. Another is so that we may still maintain our traditional role of air to ground fire support while still not stepping on Astra's toes. I should also mention that the Thanatos weapon systems are atttachment based, so this will allow for modular upgrades.

[18:07] Ethan Schuman: Beta testing on the Thanatos will be conducted over the next few days, with full deployment coming soon after. I will also be taking this time to develop a new weapon vendor system to make use of our specialization system, so you Navis guys and girls can finally start to see your new weapons. Once this is completed, Josey and Kanaki will begin training in ground tactics as well. Hopefully we'll be training people regularly in the Thanatos, Admonitor, and ground combat by next week's meeting.

[18:08] Ethan Schuman: On a final note, the early designs of the Navis underarmor textures are taking longer than expected. I have no ETA on when these will be ready for review and approval by the Imperator. However, I have discussed with a few people over Ventrilo, and it is possible that upon completion of the uniforms (assuming they are approved), the uniforms will be made available to the entirity of Ordo for the sake of uniformity.

[18:08] Ethan Schuman: That is all Navis has to report for this week.

    [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

    Terra

[18:09] Lestat Umarov: The Terra report for this week will be brief. Sekonda Huet has been appointed as the NCOIC of the Armatura training group. This means we will be handling the schedules from now on. I advise you to look at the forums and contact him if you cannot make a particular class so that he can change the schedule to someone that can. Training has been happening more frequently. It's still not daily but it's getting there.

[18:10] Lestat Umarov: Aside from that I know there development continuing for Antesignani involving new mechs and the tank.

[18:10] Lestat Umarov: That's all I have to report really sir.

    [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

    Astra

    [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Astra?

    [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Astra?

[18:10] Sosarin Demar: Astra performed well over these past two weeks in dealing with aerial threats, both in defensive and offensive instances. Things have been rather quiet when it comes to pilot training. The immediate (active) queue has been cleared out for some time. Our newer pilots seem to be situated quite nicely. As for our Astra structure, things seem to have settled well after our consolodation of active personnel into tight knit flights.

[18:11] Sosarin Demar: Our present project of importance is still the Apostle reform. Centurion Kristian Kit has completed the Apostle Charter. Now is a question of filling the group with a few more staff members. Flight Instructor Evaluations are underway and have seen some progress over last week. Decurion Fermi Torok has completed his trials and others are close in tow. Triplicarius Nivanglus Aya is poking around to see if anyone else may be interested.

[18:11] Sosarin Demar: When it comes to off time, our future really begs for events and practice sessions to keep us occupied and up to par. A full compliment of Apostle staff will see to these needs in an official capacity. In the meantime, pre-approved events will be hosted by volunteers. Special thanks to Praetorian Karlhockey Forte for his challenging ring course and Sesquiplicarius Lunus Ferraris for his upcoming event. Karlhockey is working on another ring course for Astra -- one that will prove more challenging than the last.

[18:12] Sosarin Demar: That concludes Astra's division report.

[18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome, thank you.

    Curia

[18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Do any of the special divisions wish to report this evening?

    [18:12] Kitsy Bunnyhug: Sure

[18:12] Agares Tretiak: I do, sir.

[18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Kitsy, go right ahead.

[18:13] Kitsy Bunnyhug: Curia is performing well a few hiccups on a members conduct

[18:13] Kitsy Bunnyhug: we have noted a problem with CIR's being submitted by members for some reason or another as outlined by the forum post

[18:14] Kitsy Bunnyhug: Certain curia members are also being targeted by a disgruntled former member that had contact in his case.

[18:14] Kitsy Bunnyhug: that is all

    [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

    Academy Project

    [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Agares?

[18:14] Agares Tretiak: As leader of the Academy Project, I do have some news.

[18:15] Agares Tretiak: I know many of you are eager to particpate in the Artillery Support School. The good news is that I'm almsot finished with that! Just remain patient, and you'll all be lobbing high explosives at heretics in no time.

    [18:15] Karla Jigsaw: \o/

[18:16] Agares Tretiak: Also, the Praetorians seem to be keeping a high profile and are always eager to help out where we can. Manyof us are involved in various projects.

[18:16] Karlhockey Forte: I am working hard with Astra, as Sosarin stated.

    Frumentarii

[18:18] Agares Tretiak: The Frumentarii, I'm told, are working hard after the retasking of the Externus portion.

    [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Anything further?

[18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Do any other divisions wish to report?

    Schola

    [18:20] Lestat Umarov: Schola :O

    [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Go ahead.

[18:21] Lestat Umarov: Schola is doing phenominal currently. Recruitment is up and lately classes have been held in numbers not seens sicne early 2008. I'd like to thank all the instructors for thier hard work and dedication.

[18:21] Lestat Umarov: That is all

    [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent.

    Keynote Discussion

    [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

[18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on to keynote discussions.

[18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Any old business to bring up this evening?

    [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Even better.

[18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along.

[18:24] Aryte Vesperia: I only have a few topics myself this evening.

[18:24] Aryte Vesperia: First, I do want to give everyone a little heads up on the projects I am currently working on, or preparing to work on.

[18:25] Aryte Vesperia: There are several "long term" projects that have been hinted at, some of which are actually underway.

[18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost, as we've mentioned before, a Schola revamp is being undertaken. Currently, Schola Commandant Kristian Kit is preparing a rough outline, detailing specific parts he'd like to add.

[18:28] Aryte Vesperia: It's a bit too early to say what the end result will look like, but the overall idea is to increase the complexity and length of Schola to a more fulfilling and encompassing level.

[18:29] Aryte Vesperia: After Kristian gives his input, I'll be picking up the outline to carry it forward. A forum post will likely be tossed out there, providing volunteers the opportunity to drop their own input into the process.

[18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Secondly, I am looking to massively overhaul the way unlocks and gear distribution is handled within the Ordo.

[18:30] Aryte Vesperia: At this point, the system is a bit dated and redundant.

[18:31] Aryte Vesperia: As noted, Terra suffers heavily with a "here's a gun, shoot stuff" syndrome. Partially because of the unlock routine.

[18:31] Aryte Vesperia: The idea of rewarding promotion with gear sounds like a good idea at first glance, but promotion is not intended to always be a reward. It's responsibility.

[18:31] Aryte Vesperia: As such, encouraging people to seek rank to get more gear is just backwards.

[18:33] Aryte Vesperia: I have not reached any level of definitive change up, but you'll probably see this tied more heavily into the class and training opportunities.

[18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Rather than encourage rank seekers, we'll encourage education and betterment.

[18:33] Aryte Vesperia: I see no reason why an E-1 who takes it upon himself to educate and work their ass of . . shouldn't be able to earn new technology and weaponry.

[18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Questions thus far?

[18:34] Agares Tretiak raises his hand.

    [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Agares.

[18:35] Agares Tretiak: From what you've stated about gear unlocks, it sounds like this may fit closely for some of the things I hope to achieve with the academies. Am I wrong in that assumption?

[18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Not at all.

[18:36] Aryte Vesperia: It's something commonly faced in organizational theory-- do you reward productive employees with rank, or do you reward them with merit? Merit being "gear" in this case. The problem with rewarding generally productive employees with rank is, well, someone may be very productive, but lack displays of leadership potential.

[18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Our current system advocates, subtly, "promote, promote, get more crap!"

[18:37] Aryte Vesperia: As we continue to grow, this is becoming more and more detrimental.

[18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions

    [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: ?

    [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Very good.

[18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Two more projects to announce:

[18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Titan! Yes, we're still working on it. I intend to start phasing over the Titan servers to our new set up tomorrow. After which, an aggressive removal of older technology and phase out of old employees will begin. As promised, a hiring spree will begin. We will be focussing on supporting the Ordo.

    [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: And lastly.

[18:39] Aryte Vesperia: This is a topic we've really been picking at for ages.

[18:39] Aryte Vesperia: It is my intention to pursue the replacement of all of our current attire.

[18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Although our current gear is pretty awesome, it is dated. After some fact finding and planning, it will be determined what portions are salvageable and which parts are due to be replaced entirely.

[18:41] Aryte Vesperia: By salvageable, for example, I mean something to the effect of replacing prims on a dress uniform, etc.

[18:41] Aryte Vesperia: I don't bring this up as a subtle hint to any of our current builders.

[18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Don't worry, I'm not expecting you to become any more over-worked. Our method will be figured in due time.

    [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

    [18:41] Sosarin Demar raises hand.

    [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Sosarin.

    [18:42] Fermi Torok raises hand.

[18:42] Sosarin Demar: So I'm guessing replacing the collar on the dress uniforms with a sculpted item would be something you mean?

    [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Yes.

    [18:42] Sosarin Demar: Gotcha

[18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Unless we replace it entirely.

[18:42] Agares Tretiak raises his hand.

    [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Fermi.

[18:43] Akurei Sieyes hates ties. >:C

[18:43] Fermi Torok: If I drew some concepts, would something like parts like those on branch armor be subject to replacement with the possible better?

[18:44] Fermi Torok: Could perhaps gather approval from the mass on the concepts on the forum...?

[18:44] Aryte Vesperia: I am not sure I understand what you're asking.

[18:44] Karla Jigsaw: he's saying should the armor concepts be subjected to a vote?

[18:44] Aryte Vesperia: The initial design schemes will probably be done privately. Although I enjoy input, we'll narrow it down to a select idea before proposing it to the group.

[18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Why? Because not everyone is ever going to be happy, and I don't care to have 219 people posting pictures of their favorite anime characters, etc. Heh.

[18:46] Akurei Sieyes: http://www.foureyesjokeshop.com/ProductIma...hic_top_hat.jpg <- go big or go home. :|

    [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Right.

    [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Agares?

[18:47] Agares Tretiak: I take it during this overhaul on equipment will also mean an effort to ensure that everything meatches up with the up and coming Munitorum COuncil standards?

[18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Uniformity under standards, correct. Taking a lot of folkways and norms in the group and turning it into reality.

[18:48] Agares Tretiak: :D Thank you, sir.

[18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions before we move on?

[18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Next topic for this evening.

[18:48] Aryte Vesperia: I want to take a moment to address something that pertains mostly to myself and other administrators.

[18:49] Aryte Vesperia: Sometimes it may appear that development within the group, especially large policy changes, occur slowly. Most of the time, yes, they do. This isn't on reason of being lax, or putting it off. Keep in mind there is a constant balance being mantained.

[18:50] Aryte Vesperia: For example. Every day, my job entitles a great deal of busy work and maintanence of the status quo.

[18:50] Aryte Vesperia: I answer questions, assist commanders, conference with Curia, give my input, etc, etc. On top of that, there is an expectation of a reasonable level of entertainment from the general members.

[18:50] Aryte Vesperia: Entertainment usually means combat.

[18:50] Aryte Vesperia: That is another time sink for us.

[18:51] Aryte Vesperia: Combat is upkept at the cost of spending time on projects and the likes.

[18:52] Aryte Vesperia: Although a lot of things can be delegated out, in the end, the upper administration, myself included, are still experiencing a great deal of upkeep efforts while attempting to move on to progression.

[18:53] Aryte Vesperia: In short, just be mindful that progress will be slow for some large projects. It is irresponsible to ignore the current, present issues, in lieu of spending all your time moving on to the next.

    [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

[18:54] Aryte Vesperia: All right. Moving on.

[18:55] Aryte Vesperia: On a more cheery note, I'd like to address the Ordo at large and recognize some of the progress we /have/ made over the last couple of months.

    [18:56] Aarya Gothly salutes!

[18:56] Aarya Gothly: i cant even see anyone yet @_@

[18:56] Aryte Vesperia: The Ordo is not, nor do we ever expect to be, perfect.

[18:57] Aryte Vesperia: You should, however, be pretty damn proud of what we /are/.

[18:57] Aryte Vesperia: As I have said to some members privately, I've always been pretty scared by the thought that the Ordo isn't "matching up" with other organizations. I don't get out much, so my perception is based upon assumption.

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: Over the last month, I took the opportunity to do some snooping and investigation on my own.

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: A lot of conversation with former members, things of that quality.

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: A lot of conversation with former members, things of that quality.

[18:59] Aryte Vesperia: And I was really quite impressed with what I found.

[19:00] Aryte Vesperia: I've always considered us to be, well, pretty damn awesome. That feeling is pretty shared. We have a reputation, although not always a good one--heh.

[19:02] Aryte Vesperia: We've come quite a long way. We've developed friendly, progressive atmosphere, that promotes growth and membership relationships.

[19:02] Karla Jigsaw: cant be the best without blodying a few noses.

    [19:02] Karla Jigsaw: *bloodying

[19:04] Aryte Vesperia: (IM spam, yay.)

[19:05] Aryte Vesperia: As I was saying:

[19:06] Aryte Vesperia: Quite possibly our most vivid enemy is, well, ourselves. As we grow, we continue to raise the bar-- we continue to raise our own expectations for finery.

[19:07] Aryte Vesperia: It is important that we all--myself included--sit back and look at how far we've come.

[19:07] Aryte Vesperia: Every new face contributes something new to the group, as part of a continuing legacy and a constant cycle of progress forward.

[19:08] Aryte Vesperia: For a volunteer, unpaid group, who spends their time here out of leisure-- you should really be proud.

[19:10] Aryte Vesperia: It never ceases to amaze me that not but a couple years back, we would've been happy with being able to get through a day without folks mowing eachother down in arguments.

[19:11] Aryte Vesperia: Yes, Second Life is a game. Yes, we're definitely here to have fun. The difference is, we derive our fun by putting that effort forward, developing a professional team.

[19:12] Aryte Vesperia: I would say, without a doubt, in our respective community, you are definitely "professional."

[19:13] Aryte Vesperia: So, continue doing what you do. You guys make everything worth it.

    [19:14] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

[19:14] Aryte Vesperia: You guys just want me to get to promotions so you can leave this room, haha.

[19:14] Aryte Vesperia: Any other topics to bring up this evening?

[19:15] Diablos Korobase: No Sir please continue

[19:15] Ethan Schuman: Just one, sir.

    [19:15] Aryte Vesperia: Ethan.

    [19:15] Karlhockey Forte raises hand.

[19:15] Ethan Schuman: Not so much a question as a comment. Normally I'd make this in private chat, but I think the whole Ordo could benefit by hearing it.

[19:16] Karla Jigsaw raises a hand

[19:16] Ethan Schuman: Two and a half years ago, when I told Shadow Keegan to put you in charge of the the AN II, I had absolutely no idea just how far you would bring things.

[19:16] Ethan Schuman: Every week, you sti here and we have these meetings, and you commend people and promote them.

[19:17] Ethan Schuman: Well today, I'd like to announce in front of everyone here just how damned proud I am, of you, and how honored I am to be your comrade and your friend. From then till now, and from now till whenever this whole show outgrows me, I am thankful for your friendship, and will stand beside you 110%.

    [19:18] Diablos Korobase: Here Here

    [19:18] Lestat Umarov: Same here

    [19:18] Heather McKay: Agreed.

[19:18] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, I really appreciate that. It's been one hell of a ride. I count my blessings; you're all among them, without a doubt.

    [19:18] Kraa String: Aye

    [19:18] Agares Tretiak: here, here.

    [19:18] Vinnie Lei: Hear hear!

    [19:18] Aarya Gothly nods.

[19:18] Kono Kestenbaum: Hail the truth as it is spoken, I concur.

    [19:19] Keystone Gray: Hail!

[19:19] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you very much!

    [19:19] Aryte Vesperia: Okay!

    [19:19] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions!

    [19:19] Karlhockey Forte: >.>

[19:19] Aryte Vesperia: Crap! I'm going to be late, haha!

[19:20] Blaze Wiles Nods "Bonds of blood and honour,it's truely an honour to be here every hour I am with every single person here, you are all brother and sister to me"

    [19:20] Karlhockey Forte: I had a question.

[19:20] Aryte Vesperia: Ech, go ahead! :) Heh. Karl.

[19:20] Karlhockey Forte: I have been noticing the newer logos everywhere. Unless I missed it somewhere(I did have a few week where I was unable to check in with things reguarding ordo), did the old logo get replaced?

[19:20] Aryte Vesperia: Old logo is still all right. New logo is just the new release issue.

[19:20] Aryte Vesperia: I'll pop one out over notices.

    [19:20] Karlhockey Forte: Thank you.

    Promotions

    [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: All right!

[19:21] Aryte Vesperia: Now for the fun part.

[19:21] Keystone Gray fears a Phillip pop.

[19:21] Aryte Vesperia: We do promotions and merits weekly, typically. If you did not get recommended, don't worry, there's always next week.

[19:21] Aryte Vesperia: So, no ":( why no promote" faces!

[19:21] Aryte Vesperia: I'm going to rattle these off quickly, because I noticed my friend is tapping his watch.

    [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: Haha.

  3. I hate to admit it... but. Sigh. It sounds like there's a great chance that I will likely be losing my internet connection by the beginning of February. Which means the end of my existence on the Internet, for some indefinite period of time. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get it back.. lately, it just hasn't been affordable.

I have family to visit tomorrow, and will not be home until Monday afternoon, and chances are, the connection will be gone by then.

So this is, likely, goodbye. For a while. I'm sorry, guys. >.<

If it isn't, then I can reply to it on Monday with a sigh of relief and be spared another month to keep the connection...

  4. It is not a question of who has some influence.. it is who has the most.

I haven't been around a lot of militaries, but I'm really willing to bet that no military has as much sway and loyalty in its members as the Ordo Imperialis does. Aryte.. does not realize fully just how much respect he merits, I don't think.

  5. I'm also looking to grab a spot as an Instructor. I'm an E-4, promoted a couple weeks ago. I've been serving as command of an octet since as long as Endra, not long, but the job proves to be a responsibility I enjoy having. I'm also a newly-transfered member of the Antesignani squad, and I hope to serve to expectations in that range.

As far as Curia goes, I haven't had anything related to that in any past events. I'm clean.

I've been around since mid-November. I'm not the most wizened person here, but I know my way around and I have a good idea of the general workings that any cadet would need to know.

During regular weekdays, I'm around from about 3-3:30 pm to 9:00 pm SLT. On weekends, I'm available from 10 am to 10 pm. All day on weekends, practically. This is a usual schedule; there will of course be weekends where I'm not able to be on a full 12 hours, and days during the week that I'm around much earlier to stay later. That's the general idea, however.

I'd like to be an instructor because I'd be an experience to give the newbies on the doorstep of our organization the proper equipment to excel and teach them what they need to know. I'm also fueled by the desire to quicken and streamline the process. I want to see cadets pulled through their training as fast as they want; due to my own schedule when I was in Schola and the lack of hardly any willing instructors active at that period of time, my own class sequence seemed to take a hefty bit of time. I'd like to cut that down by being around to help when I can.

  7. Introduction

[18:03] Aryte Vesperia: All right, let's get started.

[18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Any volunteers to take minutes this evening?

    [18:03] Dascede Aluveaux: Me.

    [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you!

    [18:03] Kathryn Bisnovat: I can.

[18:03] Nevin Korobase: I'll post it on the forum Sir.

    [18:03] Kathryn Bisnovat: Er, nevermind.

[18:03] Aryte Vesperia: For those of you joining us for the first time this evening.

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Our meetings work like so:

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: We begin each time with a short report from myself, over the general scope of the Ordo.

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: After which, we hold a branch report session where an appointed commander speaks on behalf of their units.

    [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Unit, rather.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Then, we move on to our keynote discussions, during which I bring up any new buisness for general discussion. After, anyone may propose a topic.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: We close with promotions and final comments.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: As usual, I do expect an orderly process. Please do not interrupt me without being given the opportunity.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: The more times I have to pause, the longer this becomes.

    Imperator's Report

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along to this week's report.

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Current member numbers up to 215; Eazy still unaccounted for.

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Several new accepted applications-- I didn't pull a total number, something close to five?

[18:07] FireFox Breed: in the last week?

    [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Correct.

[18:07] Aryte Vesperia: A few resignations this week, of which all were inactives . . likely folks none of you have even met.

[18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Nogard, as well.

[18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Their spots were promptly filled by new entrances: Karla, Scientific, Kathryn, to name a few.

    [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: (Haha.)

[18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Welcome to all of the new members-- I probably forgot a couple.

[18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Seb Yakan, a long time Astra officer, has gone into retirement/reserve. He'll still be around on occassion, however he has resigned his commission.

[18:10] Aryte Vesperia: He'll be missed.

[18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomacy abroad has been fairly light and courteous; we're currently not banned from any region, aside from Sparta.

[18:10] Aryte Vesperia: But to be fair, who isn't banned from Sparta?

    [18:10] Sera Otoro: me...

    [18:10] Mikael Khalamov: rofl.

    [18:11] Tandem Destiny: Tandem >_>

    [18:11] Keystone Gray: Me.

    [18:11] FireFox Breed: me

    [18:11] Kono Kestenbaum: Me, sir.

    [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: . .

    [18:11] Zero Itamae: Me too

    [18:11] Kathryn Bisnovat: I shouldn't be.

    [18:11] Tandem Destiny: shh

    [18:11] Sera Otoro: heather...

[18:11] Nogardknim Perth: I don't even know what sparta is, so I'm guessing I'm not banned.

[18:11] Karla Jigsaw: i dont wanna hang around oily greek men anyway

[18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Rhetorical question, people.

    [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Quiet.

[18:11] Aryte Vesperia: I meant group wise.

    [18:11] Aryte Vesperia laughs.

    [18:11] FireFox Breed: sparta themself?

[18:11] MikeMurdock McMillan: finnaly I made it no thanks to linden labs retardation

    [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on.

[18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Offensive manuevers are up and stable; a damn good array of assaults this week.

[18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Defensive, same. No issues to report.

[18:12] Aryte Vesperia: We are experiencing an increase in void-related problems. For example, when engaging CATI and other militaries based on a void region.

[18:13] Aryte Vesperia: If they're able to field more than ten at defensive posture, we immediately become disadvantaged based to void region restrictions.

[18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Troublesome, but, thus far, hasn't been too noteworthy.

[18:14] Aryte Vesperia: On to division reports.

    Divisional Reports

    Terra

    [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Volunteers?

    [18:14] Lestat Umarov: I will

[18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Lestat; for Terra.

[18:14] Lestat Umarov: Before I begin I'd like to state that I will be reporting on Terra as well as Schola today. The Schola report will follow the Terra report.

[18:14] Lestat Umarov: Things have been going well in Terra from all fronts. Alpha squad enlistment is up and individual squad based training has been underway. Antesignani is slated to get some new equiptment soon. A tank, some new mech, and a couple weapons. Release date will still be determined but expect to see them soon. Fulminata has a new jump pack which functions very nicely, and Invictus is working on drop pod training. I'd like to thank Syl for her work in updating the ordo Arsenal through her scripts and models. Another thing to note is the mortar has been updated and is available in the armory.

[18:15] Lestat Umarov: On training, it's important that all Adiutors and instructors look at the schedule on the forums and tell me if you can or cannot make a class. The sooner Terra training is happening on a regular basis, the sooner I can move on to work on the NCO school. If you need the training material send me an IM, altho I should have sent it to everyone. Also, when someone qualifys hawkeye you are allowed to issue them the badges if you observed. It's important that you take a screenshot and vouch for them when they go to the Imperator for their unlock. Have them message me for the Marksmanship merit.

[18:16] Lestat Umarov: And lastly, I'd like to bring up the status of the Adiutors. It has come to my attention that some of you believe that it is not in fact an Alpha squad. This is not the case. It is indeed an alpha squad, and it geared towards being much like the Praetorian Guard of the Imperator, but for the Legates. Aside from assisting the legates many of the adiutors are dual enlisted in other alpha squads, bringing thier expertise and a variety of skills to the table. A program called Adiutor Tactical Immersion has been put underway for those who wish to be affiliated and train with an alpha squad, but not actually dual enlist. The adiutors are also required to assist with training and be knowledgeable of the ordo regulations.

[18:17] Lestat Umarov: And questions before I move on to schola?

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Lestat. Your work has been commendable, to say in the least. Go ahead.

    [18:18] Lestat Umarov: No questions?

    Schola

[18:18] Lestat Umarov: Moving on then...

[18:18] Lestat Umarov: Recuitment has been going very well. I actually got 7 applications today which I will be handling after the meeting. Training has been happening frequently, with a high graduation rate for cadets. A mentioned by the imperator there is going to be a major update soon to the outline. Much of the Communist undertones will be removed, and more Roman themed material will replace it. Those of you who have im'd be about being an instructor need to contact me after the meeting. Normally Kristian would handle new instructors but I will be taking on a small number due to his absense.

[18:19] Lestat Umarov: That is all I have for my division reports, thank you.

[18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Any questions?

    [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Next division?

    Astra

[18:20] Niiya Narayan raises her hand

[18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Niiya; for Astra.

[18:20] Niiya Narayan: It looks like Sosa is unable to make it so i can put a word in:

[18:20] Niiya Narayan: Not alot to report... the stucture of Astra's been consolidated to try and improve efficiency, with one main active squadron and a reserve squadron for inactive people. Hopefully it'll allow us to work more efficiently and the prospect of being transferred to the inactive squadron might give people more motivation to participate.

But as far as I'm aware that's all the news of importance regarding Astra.

    [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

[18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Appreciated, thank you for filling in for Sosarin.

    [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Navis?

    Navis

[18:21] Ethan Schuman: Navis has the following to report for this week:

[18:22] Ethan Schuman: Firstly, Navis has a new resource sergeant. Due to his exceptional dedication to the group and his ability to keep track of information while acting as a communication hub, I have appointed Keystone Gray to this position to replace Razi Soyinka, who will be moving up to other responsibilities. The resource sergeant is responsible for the dissemination of crucial information to the enlisted ranks of Navis, and acts as a sort of First Sergeant for those of you familiar with the term. I have no doubt that Keystone will execute his duties to the highest standards.

[18:22] Ethan Schuman: Secondly, development on a new Navis ship has begun under the skilled talents of Syl Kiranov. Unlike traditional naval vessels, this new ship is designed to be a low prim, physical flight craft which is sit based. We have taken this approach for a multitude of reasons, but the most significant of these is a desire to increase Navis deployment capabilities. This craft has two seats available, one for a pilot and one for a gunner. Currently, the pilot is armed with slow firing air to surface rockets, while the gunner has a rotatable cannon turret.

[18:23] Ethan Schuman: To alleviate concerns of Astra pilots, even though this is a physical flight craft, it does not have the ability to maintain air superiority. In fact, without a gunner, the ship is as good as defenseless against enemy air assets. As far as control is concerned, multiple schemes are being tested. Currently, the prototype has the ability to fly in either decoupled (normal) or coupled (Praeda/Ferox style) mode, and can also use either standard hover turning, or bank turning. Weapons are attachment based, which make it possible for modular loadouts. This is all, however, subject to change during development. Again, I will emphasize that this aircraft is meant STRICTLY for ground attack/support roles, to keep in line with the goals of Navis.

[18:23] Ethan Schuman: Thirdly, regular training sessions are in the process of being scheduled. While we have had mixed success with sort of impromptu training classes, scheduled sessions are of vital importance. I am aware of the general desire to start scheduled training, and I am working with Navis instructors to make this a reality. Enough of Navis has submitted availability schedules that we can work towards this, and it is my hope that by this time next week, regular training classes will be scheduled. This will also allow us time to finish and incorporate the new ship into training. Once this is done, we can begin to sort people out into their fields and get upgrade weapons issued.

[18:24] Ethan Schuman: This concludes the Navis report for this week. At the Imperator's descretion, I will now take any Navis related questions.

[18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Congratulations, Keystone. As for the bomber, it is truly amazing, as with anything Syl seems to make. Ha ha. The new approach of including strategic level bombing into Navis via-physical/smaller craft is very feasible and valid. Very good work Ethan, as always.

[18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Open to questions at this time.

[18:25] Karla Jigsaw: I have one

    [18:25] Ethan Schuman: Karla.

[18:26] Karla Jigsaw: If they have this new super duper Joint Strike Fighter, is that going to mean that us flygirls are going to be able to spend less time defending Navis directly and work on agressing enemy air capability in an offensive rather then defensive role?

[18:26] Karla Jigsaw: as in, do your ships have more teeth now/

[18:27] Ethan Schuman: Negative. While the gunship has a cannon for air to air defense and is more maneuverable, its primary task will be to use its weapons against ground targets. While the gunship is faster than the Admonitor, it will still require clear skies to be fully effective.

[18:28] Ethan Schuman: This may, however, change during prototype development.

[18:28] Karla Jigsaw: AHr right, I see.

[18:28] Aryte Vesperia: You can consider this new vehicle comparable to the A-10, in some ways.

[18:28] Mikael Khalamov: Or an Apache?

[18:28] Aryte Vesperia: It is not intended to fight other aircraft.

    [18:28] Lestat Umarov: Warthog

    [18:28] Cyphre Iredell: tank pwner

[18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions?

[18:28] Ethan Schuman: The long and shortof it s, you won't ave to defendus directly, but you will need to keep air assets surpressed.

[18:29] Karla Jigsaw: Right oh, that makes more sense now

    Keynotes

[18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Let's move on to the keynotes this evening.

    [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent.

[18:29] Aryte Vesperia: I've got a few to discuss. Several of which are short, so this shouldn't take long.

    [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: First up:

[18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Civilian Overseers. It has been a really long time since we've appointed any new NCO's to manage the civilian group. I will be posting a forum topic taking volunteers after the meeting. I'll need about five people to join and help manage invites, ejections, etc.

[18:30] Aryte Vesperia: The task is pretty simple: you manage civilian clearance, revoke it, clean it up when necessary.

[18:31] Aryte Vesperia: It's not an incredibly difficult job, but a decent responsibility.

[18:31] Aryte Vesperia: It's your job to ensure we're not passing civilian invites to enemies and so forth.

[18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Among your duties include combing the group regularly to ensure none of the civilians have moved on to other groups, etc.

[18:32] Aryte Vesperia: If you have any questions, feel free to drop them into the forum topic when it is up. I'll probably take the first five folks, or, the senior most if there's a huge interest.

[18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Any questions at this time? (I'll take a few. Please don't volunteer at this time.)

[18:32] FireFox Breed rises a hand

    [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Firefox.

[18:33] FireFox Breed: If needed I can make somethhing on my php system for better managment of the civy group. That way we know who asked for them to be invited along with other info about them.

    [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: That'd be . .

    [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Yeah.

[18:34] Aryte Vesperia: That'd be great.

    [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

[18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions on this topic?

[18:34] Scientific Waffle raises his hand.

    [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Waffle.

[18:34] Karla Jigsaw raises hers too D:

[18:34] Scientific Waffle: What are the requirements for volunteering for this position?

[18:34] Aryte Vesperia: I prefer NCO level members, so, E-4 and above.

[18:34] Karla Jigsaw lowers it D:

    [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Jigsa--

    [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Unjigsaw.

[18:35] Karla Jigsaw: haha, damn you clairvoyent breakfast product!

[18:35] Karla Jigsaw: you foiled me again

    [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic.

[18:37] Aryte Vesperia: As mentioned, there is an ongoing effort to update Schola and expand it. At this time, I'm pretty behind on making this a reality. The probability is I will form a council of folks, including Lesat (lol volunteered) and other instructors to come up with a new approach before finalizing it. The idea is to expand Phase 1 into two exams, effectively covering more of the handbook. Likewise, Phase 3 will be made less dry. It is probable Schola will eventually reach "5" phases, rather than four. Look forward to this within two weeks or so (to be explained why in the next topic).

[18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Anyone will really be open to participating. I'll be especially interested in hearing from former members of other groups.

    [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

[18:37] Gulliver Carpool raises his hand.

    [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Gulliver.

[18:38] Gulliver Carpool: I'd be happy to write up the curriculum once all the ideas and what not are submitted. Tests and stuff like that.

[18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Oh perfect, thank you.

[18:38] Aryte Vesperia: I do appreciate your help.

[18:39] Aryte Vesperia: We'll definitely open up a expanded council/group think tank on it.

[18:39] Aryte Vesperia: All right. Next topic:

[18:39] Aryte Vesperia: I will be out of town beginning next Thursday, until the following Monday. 22nd to the 26th

    [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: .

[18:40] Aryte Vesperia: I will have limited access, but will have my phone on me at all times. I will likely check in nightly (and throughout the day when bored) to answer any critical questions and so forth.

[18:40] Lestat Umarov: I'll text the shit out of you sir :D

[18:40] Keystone Gray: Let's ALL text him a great big "I love you" wave.

[18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Operations will continue without much incident while I am away. Officers will be spoken to on Wednesday about authority to assault and so forth. Also, expect an evening meeting on Wednesday so I can lay out my usual message.

    [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: (Feel free.)

[18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Not much to note, aside from I won't be here to bitch at all day for a weekend. Your general day to day won't be effected. :)

[18:41] Aryte Vesperia: More on that on Wednesday. Just a heads up.

    [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

    [18:41] Kenji Solvang: me Sir?

    [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Kenji?

[18:41] Karla Jigsaw: have a nice trip \o/

    [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Thanks!

[18:42] Kenji Solvang: Will I be able to say hi to you during the time that your gone?

    [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Sure!

[18:42] Kenji Solvang: since I am leaveing too?

    [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Haha! Yes.

[18:42] Aryte Vesperia: I'll send you my number.

[18:42] Kenji Solvang: ok, then I shall try:P

[18:42] Blaze Wiles nods "just to say have a nice trip sir and I'm sure we'll be able to keep this place from exploding in the mean time"

[18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. I'm sure you all will. Hasn't been a problem in the past. :)

[18:43] Aryte Vesperia: We'll talk more on it on Wednesday when I give my usual :( BYE spiel.

    [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic.

[18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Agares was handed control over design of the academy program last week. If you have not done so, and are interested in assisting, please contact him. He has a forum topic up currently for any party to check on. Please do volunteer your assistance if you're in the least bit curious. The academies will provide a wide array of unique skill practice for the Ordo. With Agares at the lead, I expect it to go forward a lot faster than being forced to sit on my backburners.

    [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

[18:45] Karla Jigsaw raises a hand

    [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Jigsaw.

[18:45] Karla Jigsaw: Just for curiousitys sake, whats an example of 'unique skill practices'

[18:45] Aryte Vesperia: For those of you new:

[18:46] Aryte Vesperia: The academy system is an idea I proposed some time ago, under the idea that a series of unique classes should be offered at rotation/semi-routinely. For example, air defense acadamies for infantry.

[18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Or, classes designed around teaching about the internal design and ranks of other militaries.

[18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Acadamies will be open to everyone, providing advanced education outside of the general training routines.

[18:47] Karla Jigsaw: oh like, extra curriculam activities

    [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Exactly.

    [18:47] Karla Jigsaw: ohhh

[18:47] Karla Jigsaw: that sounds fun actually, ill sign up

[18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Heh heh. :)

[18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions

    [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: ?

    [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic.

[18:49] Aryte Vesperia: A little update on Titan progress:

[18:50] Aryte Vesperia: The staff change up is a little late on account of me heading out next week; I expect to actually be on schedule when returning. It's been a challenge to balance the new class load offline. All in all, no major setbacks.

[18:50] Aryte Vesperia: As for Chronus, as some have askeD:

[18:50] Aryte Vesperia: The void region was cancelled for a few reasons.

[18:51] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost, the $95 dollar tier payments will make thw $250 credit pointless. We've decided to drop the sim, under the expectation it'll take about two or three months to comfortably situate Titan.

[18:51] Aryte Vesperia: Furthermore, when purchasing a new class 5, you receive a 30day credit. $300 value.

[18:51] Aryte Vesperia: It just seemed to make no sense to upkeep Chronus as a void at this point. It, however, will return as a full region.

    [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

[18:52] Ethan Schuman raises hhis hand.

    [18:52] Aryte Vesperia: Ethan.

[18:53] Ethan Schuman: Chronus was excellent for training and building. With its departure, have we begun to look for a new isolated void or sandbox where builders can retreat to to escape lag, or are we just going to go back to the area under the VV bridge?

[18:54] Aryte Vesperia: For the moment, there is no designated location.

[18:55] Aryte Vesperia: The VV is slated for summary destruction within a very short amount of time.

[18:55] Niiya Narayan raises her hand

[18:55] Aryte Vesperia: To alleviate the need, we'll probably open a platform or use the existing moon base a few thousand meters in the air (yes, moonbase). It's currently housing our servers.

    [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Niiya?

[18:56] Niiya Narayan: i might suggest that the outpost hanger is the best place for people if they want to build at the moment, with the imminent removal of the VV. however they should pick up all items before leaving the area and make sure not to get in the way of Ordo operations.

[18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions?

    [18:57] Aryte Vesperia nods.

    [18:58] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent.

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: The last topic I have for this evening . .

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: I know this is going to spark a lot of questions.

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: Please bear with me, however.

[18:59] Aryte Vesperia: It is a very new idea at this point. I am introducing it so ideas can begin flowing. Please don't get too shocked or start throwing hands up, haha.

[18:59] Aryte Vesperia: It has been proposed to me that Terra has the tendency to be a bit bland.

[19:00] Aryte Vesperia: I do not intend for a class system to replace the current body of troops, but I plan to offer special "class" like unlocks where people can undertake specialized training or a series of tasks to unlock a title/perk.

[19:00] Aryte Vesperia: The class will be intended as an augment, to provide Terra extra dynamics.

[19:01] Aryte Vesperia: Think of it like . . prestige opportunities.

[19:01] Aryte Vesperia: Participation will be not mandatory.

[19:01] Aryte Vesperia: This will /not/ be like the Merczateers.

[19:02] Aryte Vesperia: The idea behind this will be giving specialized training, to earn a piece of equipment, a title, a merit-- an unlock, and so forth.

[19:02] Aryte Vesperia: There'll be no limit to the amount of clases you can partake and so forth.

[19:02] Aryte Vesperia: As I said, it'll be a way for Terra to augment and keep interest. Rather than there being a linear "you're an infantrymen."

    [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: Infantryman, rather.

[19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Long ago, we offered specialized Punisher training to earn the Punisher.

[19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Along with, you'd earn a "Mechanized Merit."

[19:04] Aryte Vesperia: This system will be a more permanent/routine version of the academy system, specifically for Terra.

[19:04] Aryte Vesperia: The classes/training have not been worked out at this time. I simply wanted everyone to be aware: we are working on a new unlock system, to better diversify and keep Terra dynamic.

[19:05] Aryte Vesperia: This should erase the "lol here's a gun, shoot shit." Coupled with Terra's new basic training routine, we'll better be able to shape the overall division to a more elite standard.

[19:05] Aryte Vesperia: I will open this up to questions-- I'll only take a few.

    [19:06] Jayce Iredell raises hand.

[19:06] Aryte Vesperia: (I want to add: this won't effect anyone who doesn't want to participate. It is opportunity, not restriction for others.)

    [19:06] Aryte Vesperia: Jayce?

[19:06] Jayce Iredell: So is this like, wargear, essentially?

[19:06] Keller Teichmann raises his hand.

    [19:07] Aryte Vesperia: . .

[19:07] Aryte Vesperia: Yes actually. Sort of.

[19:07] Aryte Vesperia: For example, maybe I'll offer a "Commissar" specialization and Terra can run around touting an epic hat or something (no).

    [19:07] Aryte Vesperia: Keller?

[19:08] Lestat Umarov: ((Good, cause only I can have an epic hat :|))

[19:10] Aryte Vesperia: The specific head of the program has not been determined (I haven't picked a name from the hat yet--it'll probably be me).

[19:10] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions?

    [19:11] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome.

[19:11] Aryte Vesperia: Like I said . . very initial phase on this. I haven't even informed the Terra staff yet.

    [19:11] Aryte Vesperia: Ha ha.

[19:11] Aryte Vesperia: We'll have more on it later.

[19:11] Aryte Vesperia: Any other topics to bring up this evening?

    [19:11] Endra Ashbourne raises paw.

    [19:11] MikeMurdock McMillan raise hand

[19:11] Karla Jigsaw: I have one

    [19:11] Aryte Vesperia: Endra.

[19:12] Endra Ashbourne: I have a series of questions. Is the relocation of the war room and classroom to the bunker permanent? Will they be moved to the new ship when it is complete? Further, what's the status on the new ship and the decommissioning of the VV?

[19:12] Aryte Vesperia: The relocation is not intended to be permanent; Niiya has undertaken moving all of our integral pieces into the bunker to make removing the current VV easier.

[19:13] Aryte Vesperia: As for a new ship: that's still up in the air. Keno is questioning whether or not he wants to build a new one. I believe he misunderstood moving the items down here as a reason not to have a ship. At this point, if Keno does not make a new VV, I already have a volunteer to pick up the slack.

[19:14] Aryte Vesperia: Does that answer you?

[19:14] Endra Ashbourne: Yup! Thank you sir.

    [19:14] ShadowFang Blessed raises hand

    [19:14] Aryte Vesperia: Mikemurdock.

[19:14] MikeMurdock McMillan: Well I want to bring up something that been a bit bothering me, Now I will want to thank our builders in the monitorum with moving Ordo into a new generation. Though I know many are proud with Syl's work hell i'm proud of the work, but I would like you all to please remember there are other brethren in the Monitorum and without there support as well. So for people like Sera Otoro Who scripted the tank and build/scripted the new mechs along with out projects she is currently working on I thank her for making replacement for the aging punisher walker. I also want to thank Mizar Korobase, In which he is currently making plans for the rebuild of our sim to something of greatness. Keno for working on the replacement ship of the aging Vae Victus. I also want to thank the other builders. Though I don't know who you are or what project you are working on for ordo I greatly thank you for all your doing for us. I hope my message shows you all that we should give thanks to every one of our builders from working on larg

[19:14] MikeMurdock McMillan: large and known projects to small and slient mini ones.So when you see our brothers or sisters working on a project for ordo please give them thanks for what they are doing. Even a single thank you will really brighten there day :D

That is all I would like to say for ths evening.

[19:14] MikeMurdock McMillan: damn sl text limits

[19:15] Aryte Vesperia: Definitely. The joint efforts of our design staff is extremely integral to our group's progess. Everyone's contributions are highly valued.

    [19:15] Blaze Wiles raises paw

[19:16] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, everyone. Very much so! I do hope you all realize how important your efforts are.

    [19:16] Aryte Vesperia: Karla?

[19:17] Niiya Narayan raises her hand

[19:17] Karla Jigsaw: Raven Raiders... alright what do we view them as? At first they jsut came across as a little band of noobs using rubbish weapons, but now they have their own armor, their numbers are growing and most disturbingly they now have an air force. Granted, its a rubbish air force that myself and Niiyah picked apart in seconds, but they are growing and getting more advanced

[19:17] Karla Jigsaw: and plus they attack us every damned day

    [19:17] Mikael Khalamov: lol

[19:17] Karla Jigsaw: are they just a bunch of marauders still or are they becoming a credible force to us?

[19:18] Aryte Vesperia: Raven Raiders are a standing hostility. To date, the only military we've faced with numerical credibility would be that of the Orks.

[19:18] Aryte Vesperia: It isn't really my nature to rate someone as "more dangerous" or "less dangerous."

[19:18] Aryte Vesperia: Every hostility should be treated with the same respects.

[19:18] Aryte Vesperia: Their efforts are commendable, but, we've never really had a huge issue with dealing with them.

[19:19] Aryte Vesperia: Some of their members are . . very questionable.

[19:19] Karla Jigsaw: guided missles >.>

[19:19] Aryte Vesperia: Others, are decent guys who are evolving quickly.

[19:19] Aryte Vesperia: They are comprised of a lot of new faces to the community.

[19:19] Aryte Vesperia: In most occassions, I have found RR very receptive.

[19:20] Aryte Vesperia: It's a matter of learning, for the most part.

[19:20] Aryte Vesperia: Unfortunately, not everyone is open to learning. Hell, we weren't two years ago. Haha.

[19:20] Aryte Vesperia: Does that answer you?

[19:20] Karla Jigsaw: ok cool, long as we are aware they are getting bigger and better

    [19:21] Karla Jigsaw: yus \o/

    [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: Shadow.

[19:21] ShadowFang Blessed: i know this is kinda random but, do we have a name for the new ship?

    [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: Which?

[19:21] ShadowFang Blessed: the new VV

    [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: No.

    [19:21] ShadowFang Blessed: :o k.

    [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: Blaze?

[19:22] Blaze Wiles: Will we be having a full decomissioning ceremony for the VV when it is removed, I likr the old Hulk it's be a shame to wake up one morning and find it being slowly deleted without a good send off

[19:23] Aryte Vesperia: The VV will be honorably retired in ceremony, yes.

[19:23] Keystone Gray: (Phys-delink will crash the sim. Lol.)

    [19:23] Aryte Vesperia: (Avoiding that.)

    [19:23] Keystone Gray: (k)

[19:23] Blaze Wiles: thank you sir

    [19:24] Aryte Vesperia: Niiya?

[19:24] Niiya Narayan: On the topic of equipment contributions i would like to highlight the importance of efficiency... it's very important that items for the group do not create server stress or excessive graphical slowdown. if you have any questions regarding this please contact myself and i'll be happy to help.

[19:24] Aryte Vesperia: Definitely. Niiya, your attention to detail and efficiency is awesome. Thank you.

    [19:25] Keystone Gray: 1024x1024 images = wtf u doin?

    [19:25] Niiya Narayan: exactly

[19:25] Aryte Vesperia: Any other topics this evening?

    Promotions

[19:25] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome. And on to the final thing this evening: promotions!

[19:26] Aryte Vesperia: A few brand new folks got some pretty good reviews, so don't be surprised if you see your name here.

[19:29] Sera Otoro looks in the merit list for that one...

[19:30] Kathryn Bisnovat secretly wants that merit as well.

[19:30] Aryte Vesperia: Well done, all of you.

[19:30] Aryte Vesperia: You should be proud.

[19:30] Mikael Khalamov: Grats all :O

[19:30] Karla Jigsaw: yay, candy all round \o.

    [19:30] Niiya Narayan: congratulations

    [19:31] Tandem Destiny: Gratz.

    [19:31] MikeMurdock McMillan: congrats

[19:31] Kathryn Bisnovat: Thanks, and 'grats to everyone else as well! :D

    [19:31] Keller Teichmann: Congratz. :D

[19:31] Lestat Umarov: Grats to trintiy who is not here :o

[19:31] Kono Kestenbaum: Grasti as well.

    [19:31] Lestat Umarov: trinity*

    [19:31] Keystone Gray: \o/

    [19:31] Kono Kestenbaum: Gratsi, even.

[19:31] Aryte Vesperia: It'll be about an hour before everything is issued. :)

[19:32] Aryte Vesperia: Give or take . . a long time, dependant on SL.

    Dismissal

[19:32] Aryte Vesperia: On that note: thank you all for coming! You're dismissed. Have a great evening.

    [19:32] Keystone Gray: Night.

[19:32] Aryte Vesperia: Please post the log, Dascede!

    [19:32] Keystone Gray salutes.

[19:32] Aryte Vesperia draws up his arm, snapping a fist to his chest to provide a salute.

  8. I've been in apartments before to visit. I live in a house right now.. but uh. No. This guy is just.. weird.

The apartment I was at was nice, well furnished, had a balcony and nicely-done interiors. No camera bullshit and the windows weren't barred. There was no wake-up or lights-out time.

And the outdoors had a playground rather than an... exercise room.

  9. Start

[18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Let's get started.

[18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Lighter gathering here today. I would say that has a little to do with SL being wonky and asset, but that's all right.

[18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you all for coming.

    Imperator's Report

[18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Let's get right to it.

[18:02] Aryte Vesperia: First off, my weekly report.

[18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Currently sitting at 214, with (surprisingly enough) two unaccounted folks with locked accounts. Bruce . . I don't want to ask. Eazy still owes LL 5 dollars.

[18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Truth be told, I have not taken a moment to look over the Schola numbers. I know we accepted fourish applications and denied twice that.

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Combat activity was up much higher than the last couple of weeks, back to our pre-holiday norms.

[18:04] Aryte Vesperia: No complaints there. All deployments were very enjoyable and well fought. Diplomatically, we've seen the entrance (or at least, awareness of) several new enemy forces.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: CATI, the disgruntled Brazilians in Eagle Nebula, are a prominent target.

[18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Most recently, TCG, a very old enemy, has returned to the visible scene.

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: TCG's leader, Griffith Benelli, formerly led MDF.

[18:06] Aryte Vesperia: As anyone who reads their history should know: we annihilated the MDF.

[18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Er. . Griffin Yeats. Benelli is his alt, I believe?

[18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Too many "G" names.

[18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Another group has made an appearance in the region of Eon.

    [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: "Knights Sentinel."

[18:09] Aryte Vesperia: It is . . essentially, ex-VG, ex-Sparta, and other quasi-griefers (Maza Rau) making out for try #49230 of being "cool kids."

[18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Uhhm, let's see.

[18:10] Aryte Vesperia: I'll save the rest of diplomacy for the keynote.

    Divisional reports

    Astra:

[18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on. Division reports?

[18:10] Fermi Torok raises his hand, "I've been appointed to speak for Astra this week."

[18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Fermi, go ahead.

[18:11] Fermi Torok: There were two goals set at the beginning of the week. The first was to finish the reforming of the Apostles, which included concluding the new flight instructor evaluations and testing. Progress has been made in that regard, but this goal remains unsatisfied. Kristian, who heads the Apostle reform, is absent with schooling, so changes may be a little slow.

[18:12] Fermi Torok: The second was structure discussion and revision. Some debate took place in the forums and in ventrilo. We've decided to cramp the most active individuals into one squadron, while the rest are put into another. This other squadron will serve as the "Training and Reserve" squadron. So, it will also include trainees. Details are in the Astra forum, and a new Astra roster draft should be completed soon for review.

[18:12] Fermi Torok: What preoccupied many of us this week was an influx of new pilots. We received six new pilots in the span of roughly a week, which has to be a new record. Three were Schola graduates, while the other three were transfers. We welcome your presence graciously.

[18:13] Fermi Torok: On the subject of trainees, We'd like to proudly announce that we've gained two graduate pilots; this week, who are now wearing their well earned wings. Hopefully in the coming week we will see more faces of Astra work their way through training regimen and earn their mark as a certified pilot.

[18:13] Fermi Torok: Next week Astra will continue to work on the Apostles and its new instructors as best as it can, in addition to settling into a revised structure.

[18:13] Fermi Torok: That is all...

    Navis:

    [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

    [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Next?

    [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Ethan.

[18:14] Ethan Schuman: I will go, sir.

[18:14] Ethan Schuman: Navis has the following to report for this week:

[18:14] Ethan Schuman: Firstly, our new weapons are finished. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Keystone Gray and Sera Otoro. It is my hope that these weapons will serve us well on the unfortunate instances where we cannot use our ships.

[18:14] Ethan Schuman: Secondly, training has begun. The first session of orientation occured last night, with more to follow this Sunday. Numbers were decent, with many non-Navis personnel in attendance. Thanks to all who came. More of these sessions, as well as small arms familiarization, will likely happen later in the day (likely around 8:00PM SLT). Speak with me after the meeting if you wish to know more about the Navis training regiment.

[18:15] Ethan Schuman: On that note, those of you in Navis who have not turned in your schedules need to do so. Make sure Keystone has them. I won't be making promotion recommendations until the majority of the group has turned in their schedules (unless you've already turned yours in).

[18:15] Ethan Schuman: Get on it, people.

[18:15] Ethan Schuman: Thirdly, Navis is in dire need of a new ship. I know we have a lot of scripters, and those of ou with capital ship experience are requested to notify myself or Centurion Rei Kuhr. The Admonitor is old and outdated, and can only serve us as a primary ship for a little while longer. We have frames and concepts, all we need is a team to work on them.

[18:16] Ethan Schuman: I cannot stress this last point enough. We're coming down to a wire. I'm asking ANY of you with naval experience or engineering expertise to step forward.

[18:17] Ethan Schuman: This concludes the Navis report for this week.

    Terra:

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent, thank you.

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: With Lestat's absence, I will cover the Terra report.

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: A few primary notes of interest. Foremost, two octet command roles have been replaced. Knightblade Fayray and Dralkanen Hextall have fallen into idleness.

[18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Their replacements will be announced during the promotionary session.

[18:18] Aryte Vesperia: All of the Terra officers will be approached today and tomorrow about giving spot-progress checks, in order to get a feel for the progress and understanding of their expectations. As Terra's size continues to be a situation we're grappling with, the need to keep a dynamic, effective Terra has become more pressing.

[18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Heavy emphasis has been placed onto elite squads as the flagship, tip of the spear. However, the remaining 80+ Terra will see a change within the coming weeks as gear allocation and training begins to take full steam.

[18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Terra's new approach will be to move further away from "here's a gun, shoot shit," to elite and combat intensive.

[18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Although Terra combat performance has always been quite remarkable, the desire to achieve greater heights will push all levels of Terra, regardless of alpha-squad status, to a new level.

[18:20] Aryte Vesperia: More on that within the next week or so.

[18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Any other reports to make this evening?

[18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Outstanding. Moving on.

    Keynotes

[18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Several keynotes this evening, most are brief. So we'll make this quick!

[18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost. EU update.

[18:22] Aryte Vesperia: I have lifted the ban on Ordo personnel in regards to visiting EU.

[18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Roo Tenk, the commander of EU, promptly ejected Dezno and the other questionable individuals.

[18:22] Aryte Vesperia: If you get the opportunity and see Roo, be sure to thank him. His commitment to the values of the IS are commendable.

[18:22] Aryte Vesperia: In short: feel free to visit EU's base in Vadoo Reef.

    [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

    [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic.

[18:23] Mikael Khalamov raises his hand.

    [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Oh.

    [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Mikael?

[18:23] Mikael Khalamov: Who all was in the EU that were copybotters or whatever anyway?

[18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Dezno Parx was the only one we implicated. Dezno is formerly Ulrick Umarov, among other names. He was responsible for copying our Punisher, among many other gear pieces.

[18:24] Aryte Vesperia: The Merczateers has a couple individuals they protested on as well.

    [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Had, rather.

    [18:24] Mikael Khalamov: Alrighty, cool.

[18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Each of the accused has some involvement in overt theft of gear, etc.

    [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: \

[18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Aye, next topic.

[18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost, Ethan Schuman. It's really quite refreshing to see a power movement in Navis. You've got a great team in the division, but they really needed someone to step in and give the political/authority backing to make it move.

[18:26] Ethan Schuman: Thank you, sir.

[18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Keystone Gray, Gulliver, Kanaki, Josey-- all of you Navis junkies.

    [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Good work.

[18:26] Aryte Vesperia: (Razi, etc, etc.)

[18:27] Aryte Vesperia: I also want to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated to the Chronus fund thus far.

[18:27] Mizar Korobase: I'll be donating soon. I forgot to pickup my paycheck today.

[18:28] Aryte Vesperia: It's awesome to see interest in the project. Anything helps. Even Gunau's dollar. I want to underline, however, you doooo not have to donate. Please do not if you're like "WELL I CAN EAT TODAY OR SPEND IT ON CHRONUS."

[18:28] Sekonda Huet: (a439;a380; a377;) Exchange rate is shitty atm.

[18:28] Aryte Vesperia: The region will come regardless of donations. This is simply speeding up the process and alleviating stress.

[18:28] Aryte Vesperia: So, thank you!

[18:29] Aryte Vesperia: (If you're wondering "wot donationz" go look at the topic in the main thread on the forums.)

    [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic.

[18:29] Aryte Vesperia: In light of the fact Astra has magically absorbed six people in the last week, I am temporarily

[18:29] Aryte Vesperia: . . hitting enter prematurely.

[18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Let me try again:

[18:30] Aryte Vesperia: In light of the fact Astra has magically absorbed six people in the last week, I am temporarily freezing transfers to Astra.

[18:30] Aryte Vesperia: The instructor capability of Astra will otherwise be overwhelmed and the delicate process of molding pilots will be damaged.

[18:30] Aryte Vesperia: This freeze will last until next week's meeting. Simple as that.

    [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

    [18:31] Jester Spearmann: none

    [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome.

[18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along.

    [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic.

[18:32] Aryte Vesperia: I hope to make some major changes to the handbook by Wednesday. School starts for me on Monday, but I have a few days off. The changes will include an expanded and tailored regulations, cutting out some old ones, while adding in some more pressing matters-- such as making the spawn req's part of it.

[18:33] Aryte Vesperia: My question to you is: what else do we need to add? We have a lot of norms in the Ordo that may or may not be written down. If you can think of any off the top of your head, I'd like to hear it.

[18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Do any of you have anything on mind immediately? Otherwise, a form topic will be opened after this meeting.

[18:33] Ethan Schuman raises his hand.

[18:33] Trinity Heckroth raises her hand

    [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Ethan.

    [18:34] Trinity Heckroth: (pft nvm)

[18:34] Ethan Schuman: OIC command regulations and protocol, specifically the transfer of command.

[18:34] Ethan Schuman: That needs a greater emphasis.

    [18:34] Aryte Vesperia nods.

    [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Will do.

    [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

    [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Anyone else?

[18:35] Trinity Heckroth raises her hand

    [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Trinity.

[18:35] Trinity Heckroth: Was thinking forum protocol. Make it official. Generally it's been good, but might as well have something in hard copy inworld.

[18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Ooh, good idea. Yes.

    [18:36] Phillip Hultcrantz raises hand

[18:36] Anlysia Gregoire raises her hand.

    [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Phillip.

[18:36] Phillip Hultcrantz: More emphesis on vent protocol...

[18:36] Aryte Vesperia: I added that in the same line.

    [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Vent/Forum protocol.

    [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Aye.

    [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you.

    [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Anlysia?

[18:37] Aryte Vesperia: (Same line in my notes, that is. I'll take a picture of it. You should see my notebook of doom.)

    [18:37] Trevor Russell raises hand

[18:37] Anlysia Gregoire: Sir, are the additional notecards we're given in Schola available anywhere besides the instructors? If they're not, maybe we should put them in the classroom.

[18:37] Jester Spearmann: (I can do that if need be)

[18:37] Aryte Vesperia: So folks can reference them later? That'd be fine, we could do that. I'll create a quick list or something.

[18:38] Keller Teichmann raises his hand.

    [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Trevor.

[18:39] Trevor Russell: do the spawn regulations include the protocol for handling suspected alts, particularly with regards to the understood exception regarding hubcamping suspected alts?

    [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Yeah.

    [18:39] Trevor Russell: k

[18:39] Aryte Vesperia: I will keep the expanded form, but have a clean cut regulations version in the handbook.

    [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Keller?

[18:40] Keller Teichmann: Perhaps something could be added concerning Titan Industries, especially since there's a concerted effort to revitalize it from inside Ordo?

[18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Gimmie an example?

[18:42] Keller Teichmann: Perhaps something along the lines of who to talk to, or clear set guidelines to keep the two entities seperate? Like... an Ordo member can't go around boasting about being linked to Titan if he's not part of the actual staff?

    [18:42] Aryte Vesperia nods.

[18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Noted, thankee. Will do.

    [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Anyone else?

    [18:45] Jester Spearmann: nope

    [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome.

[18:45] Sekonda Huet: Epic lengthy silence. c.c?

[18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Let's see here.

[18:45] Aryte Vesperia: On the topic of Titan:

[18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Hiring and employment should be worked out, god willing, by Wednesday as well.

[18:46] Keystone Gray: (That means Aryte-willing, for those of you who are new.)

[18:46] Aryte Vesperia: There will be a forum notice dropped out to make it apparent, so just keep an eye open.

    [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: (. . Hahaha.)

    [18:46] Sekonda Huet raises a paw. c.c

    [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Sekonda?

[18:47] Sekonda Huet: Is Titan actively looking for new employees to take up the many roles that aren't done by more than one person then?

[18:47] Aryte Vesperia: The full listing will be issued during the forum post. There will be a wide variety of positions available.

[18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Pretty much, I have to fire a bunch of inactive people.

    [18:48] Sekonda Huet: Awesome :3

[18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions?

    [18:48] Jester Spearmann: no

    [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome.

    [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic.

[18:49] Aryte Vesperia: Tier of succession.

[18:49] Aryte Vesperia: With the next handbook update, the succession tier will be modified to reflect the current commanders.

[18:49] Aryte Vesperia: I will base it off of time in office, so it will look something like . . Terra, Astra, Navis.

[18:50] Aryte Vesperia: So all the Terra junkies will be happy to wave their flags over Astra for the first time in two years.

    [18:50] Jester Spearmann snickers

[18:50] Aryte Vesperia: This will be formal upon the handbook update.

[18:50] Mikael Khalamov waves his flag over Astra.

    [18:50] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

[18:50] Keystone Gray narrows his eyes at Mikael.

    [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: Very good.

[18:51] Aryte Vesperia: Agares, are you with us this evening?

[18:51] Hokusai Otsuka behaves like he should.

    [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: That's a negative.

[18:51] Mizar Korobase: Agares had to do something IRL

[18:51] Aryte Vesperia: All right-- well, I can't address the topic very far without him.

[18:51] Aryte Vesperia: I will bring it back up next time, or this week.

[18:52] Aryte Vesperia: But, expect an academy council to be formed. The basic function of this group will be to design and figure the method of implimenting the dozen or so academy ideas that were drafted ages back.

[18:52] Aryte Vesperia: Academies, for those new, will basically be semi-routine class/practice programs designed to teach a specific (or general audience) special skills.

[18:53] Aryte Vesperia: It is sort of an "advanced training" that rotates.

[18:53] Aryte Vesperia: Including topics like:

[18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Air defense, latency/graphic efficiency, foreign ranks/general education on other militaries.

[18:54] Aryte Vesperia: The idea behind acadmies is that running twelve individual training programs constantly would be difficult/near impossible for an online world, but if they're offered in rotation, eventually, the skills will spread out among the troops.

[18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Teach one, teach another sort of thing.

[18:55] Aryte Vesperia: I'll have more on that after I tell Agares he's been nominated (forced) to lead the council.

    [18:55] Aryte Vesperia:

    [18:55] Anlysia Gregoire: \o/

    [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Questions?

    [18:55] Trevor Russell raises hand

    [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Trevor.

    [18:55] Trinity Heckroth raises hand

[18:56] Trevor Russell: how will the members of the council be chosen?

    [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Volunteer basis.

[18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Agares will have pretty wide discretion on who.

    [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Trinity?

[18:56] Trinity Heckroth: That was my question.

    [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Oh, perfect.

[18:57] Aryte Vesperia: I guess that's our first two volunteers.

    [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Heh.

[18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions?

    [18:57] Sirus McMahon: same

    [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Good.

[18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Any other business to bring up this evening?

    [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Oh, I . . do, hah.

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: Intus wanted me to let everyone know the forums are in the process of being updated.

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: From his forum post:

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: "Bought IPB yesterday, IPB offices were closed at that time (after hours). They like to review and accept all purchases to avoid fraud. They accepted my transaction today, downloaded the software, began updating, and the converter they supply didn't exactly work 100% for our version of PHP Fusion (Converter converted everything correctly but avatars and our passwords). Thankfully, they provide a free conversion service due to a current promotion on their website. I have activated the conversion service, they'll fix it up."

    [18:58] Aryte Vesperia: "

I have no idea when the person will do the conversion, so be aware that any data you will post on here from this point forward may not be converted (depends on when they do the actual conversion)."

[18:58] Aryte Vesperia: So just be aware.

[18:59] Aryte Vesperia: We'll soon be kicking it on IPB, which are massively better than our current.

[18:59] Aryte Vesperia: Now then. Anything further?

    [18:59] Lestat Umarov: I'm late D:

[18:59] Aryte Vesperia: Glad you noticed.

[18:59] Aryte Vesperia: Any other business this evening?

    Promotions

    [19:00] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome.

[19:00] Aryte Vesperia: On to promotions.

[19:00] Aryte Vesperia: As usual, please give me an hour or two to update everything after the promotion list is issued.

[19:00] Aryte Vesperia: If you don't have it by tomorrow, then you can bug me.

[19:00] Aryte Vesperia: Oh, another disclaimer.

[19:01] Aryte Vesperia: If you have like fifteen of the same merit, blame your officers and those recommending you. Rei has like six ace merits, so don't feel bad.

[19:01] Aryte Vesperia: No, you can't wear more than one.

[19:01] Keystone Gray: He can give one to Kekken then, no problem.

[19:01] Aryte Vesperia: On to the list:

    [19:01] Aryte Vesperia: (HAHa.)

[19:01] Aryte Vesperia: (Only like 7 people in this room got that. You should all feel old.)

[19:01] Aryte Vesperia: (Only like 7 people in this room got that. You should all feel old.)

[19:02] Aryte Vesperia: Niiya Narayan - Comrade Support Merit, Good Conduct Merit

[19:02] Jester Spearmann: (speaking of kekken, he's back in MC)

    [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: (.. . Wth E-6.)

    [19:03] Jayce Iredell: ?? wth?

[19:03] Sekonda Huet: Fastest promotion on record

[19:03] Mikael Khalamov: He was already E-6.

[19:03] Aryte Vesperia: He was already E-6.

    [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Hahaha.

    [19:03] Jayce Iredell: XD

    [19:03] Syl Kiranov: I'm already E5 too.

    [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: ...

    [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Are you?

    [19:04] Jayce Iredell: lol

    [19:04] Jester Spearmann: hahah

    [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: Fff.

[19:04] Cyphre Iredell: (yeah, since like two meetings ago)

    [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: One moment.

[19:04] Mikael Khalamov: Well done, sir.

[19:04] Aryte Vesperia: You can tell my notecards don't save correctly.

    [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: Gah . . okay.

    [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Syl, E-7.

    [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: wAIt

    [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: NO

    [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: E-6.

    [19:05] Syl Kiranov: hahaha

    [19:05] Jayce Iredell: XD

[19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Oh shut up.

    [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on.

[19:05] Keystone Gray: Sir, do you need a break?

    [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Dascede Aluveaux - [E-4]

    [19:05] Liana Pera snortlaughs. :x

    [19:05] Anlysia Gregoire: >.>

    [19:05] Vitani Gullwing: (call starbucks)

[19:05] Phillip Hultcrantz: Quiet down please.

[19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Dascede Aluveau has assumed command of [COHORS A; CENTURY 1; OCTET 1].

    [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Zrazor Rosebush - [E-4]

    [19:06] Aryte Vesperia: Endra Ashbourne - [E-4]

[19:06] Aryte Vesperia: Endra Ashbourne has assumed command of [COHORS A; CENTURY 1; OCTET 2].

[19:06] Aryte Vesperia: I'll be speaking with you, Dascede and Endra (who'll read this log) sometime tomorrow, hopefully.

[19:06] Dascede Aluveaux: Alright, sir. Thank you.

[19:07] Aryte Vesperia: That's the list this evening. Thank you for the recommendations.

[19:07] Aryte Vesperia: In light of pointing out I've made an error somewhere in my promotions, please check the roster and let me know if you note a discrepancy.

    [19:07] Mikael Khalamov: Congrats all.

[19:08] Aryte Vesperia: Congratulations all of you.

[19:08] Aryte Vesperia: Now check the damn roster.

    [19:09] Mizar Korobase: YAY!

    [19:09] Mikael Khalamov:

  10. I agree with the induction ceremony, swearing loyalty, etc. It would make the entire induction much more official. And it would perhaps give the cadets a reason to put on the formal outfits and puts on the their Basic Training merit?

I really like the idea of lining up for inspection and reviving the saluting idea. I've always wondered why we were given an at attention and at ease gesture, and why they're never used.
