Went to a 5star restaurant today since we couldn't go yesterday. Had what was probably the best meal i've eaten in years.

Uh, no, I meant my job. :P I had around a 7hr 30min shift today. It was pretty killer, non stop busy at the restaurant I work at. I just got more hours though, i've got 5 days next week instead of my usual 2 because of my improved performance. Oh, and I came home to a dead router, i'm plugged into the modem.

Thats pretty much how i've treated it. When it's a good friend or something like that, i'm a bit less formal.

So, on calling someone sir/ma'am. Often times, i'll approach someone like Keller on the wall and start a casual conversation. Sometimes I forget to salute, and we both carry on, mostly because neither of us really thought about it. Granted if I were to step up on that a bit, and assure that I did salute. Would I not be able to use first name basis?

I'm guilty of not being on defense during the Antesig stuff. I missed a comment on coms and didn't have any idea that I was supposed to jump in to help in the scenario. I was too busy talking to Endra and wondering why I died when I went afk far back ontop of the outpost. If I had known when I logged on it was a session that takes place of the whole sim, I probably would have done otherwise. I only really saw 4~ on defense during it as well.

I enjoyed my lictor position, but i'm not so sure if i'm allowed to do both that and vice schola command.

I don't mind the chat at all during combat. Honestly, it's more fun to fight with an actual conversation going. This isn't exactly a clan match when we're in combat. I know others would prefer it to be completely on topic, but I see no harm in talking about other subjects. There isn't much to lose focus of either in combat, the goals are pretty straightforward.

I'm going to be back Saturday - Tuesday, Wednesday i'm off to Otakon, and return Sunday. After that I have nothing to tear me from the Ordo. The few days between that, i'll try to get as much done as I can. Kristian's post is one of the things I mention to all new instructors. We had many active instructors who just decided they didn't want to do it anymore, or had something else that took it's place. Which is of course fine, but nobody said a word if they still intended to keep the role, that is unacceptable. When the new magistrates are up to speed, having observed the phases and everything, I expect that if anything happens to hinder your job, that you tell me. This is no different in comparison to real life. Failure to give updates about availability, can cause you to lose your position. Also, Genesis. On the note of individuals mentioning their interest in world. That is sort of an issue. I like the fact there are those interested, but if they just aren't looking at the forums to bother posting about it, then I can't do much for them. The forums are required after all for this position, being that you need to post all hosted courses in the activity thread. If anything, just get them to post on this thread.
