  1. Ok, I got NWN2 out of boredom. This game confuses me.
  2. Damion, get back to your wood cabin.
  3. That's what happens when you take feet away from Sera.
  4. [11:17] Venes Dagger (COM): Sera, that gun reminds me of your work [11:17] Vladimus Nikolaidis (COM): It is. [11:17] Sukasa Rydell (COM): that's because it is. [11:17] Sukasa Rydell (COM): .... 5. Aryte can you call my boss and convince him to let me have work off today so I can attend? :|
  6. How'd you know about my secret plan to invade with Operation Alpha Bits?
  7. Well the current one spits out lots of particles over a period of time. What I'm suggesting is lesser particles over a shorter time. Just make them bigger. We dont need to think too hard about making them terribly effective as the smart ones (relatively speaking) know to just turn particles off. So why have a grenade last 15-20 seconds when it takes all of 2 for most people to hit Ctrl+Alt+Shift+=? Make it quick, make it disorienting, and make it so we can utilize it's cover before they can adapt.
  8. I'd like to see the smoke grenades get redesigned. Rather than a slow trickle of long-lasting smoke, instead have it burst out smoke quickly and last roughly about 8-10 seconds.
  9. It also reports radar contacts, so anybody coming into the sim, regardless of location, is reported as soon as they are "seen" by the roaming sensor.
  10. Goddamnit. I'm going to need to buy more eggs.
  11. Ignore him. There's nothing he can do that he hasnt already tried. He thrives on attention to get what he wants. Ignore him and those he depends upon to get what he wants will leave him alone. Give him attention and he only gets ammunition to use to attack us or bring people over to his side. Show him for what he is, warts and all, by paying him no attention.
  12. That quote is actually from Stalin. Oh, and more bad news, Isaac Hayes kicked the bucket: http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Music/08/1...obit/index.html
  13. [11:11] You: Kristian, help me pee in the bunker :D [11:11] Kristian Kit salutes. "Ubi Concordia Ibi Victoria." [11:11] Kristian Kit: At your service and command sir, i will pee with pride.
  14. Ruin is our overworked and underpaid laborer :D
  15. Isnt Tsume technically the youngest officer?
  16. I was one of the first to have to deal with the situation. I've also come to know Johann due to the time I spent in Astra with him. I became a fellow officer with him, a comrade, and even a buddy. But I understand that in my time with him, he's prone to bouts of rhetoric and hyperbole when things do not go the way he likes. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt when I first heard about this and reported it to Aryte. I even admit that I'm probably the one that got this whole thing to the point it reached, through actions that I did that led up to a reprimand. But do I doubt Johann's words that he is innocent? Sadly, yes. It's using what I know of him that I cannot see him telling the truth. I said it before to Vasilli, and I'll say it here again. "I have never seen Johann build any guns before, so it seems odd that he would somehow learn how to do advanced building in a short period of time." That was my observation. It was not well recieved by Aryte. In fact, I got told that I should be ashamed to rat out a friend for saying what I said. I admit, I probably shouldnt have said it. But was it wrong? It also shows that Aryte does care muchly about all those in his group. Did Aryte immediately point fingers at Johann and yell 'Copybotter!'. No. He defended Johann right up until the point where it was discovered that Johann did what he did. The other question is, did Aryte choose on his own to remove Johann from Ordo? No. He turned to the officer corps, and we all threw in our votes. It was not a popular vote. It turned peoples' opinions against each other. It was not an easy decision, but in the end, the decision was made. So I want to say, Johann. If you want someone to be angry about, someone you want to call a betrayer, point your fingers at me. Because I'm one of the people who decided to send you down this road. I did not do it out of enmity, or pity, I chose my actions because as a group, we have a moral code to uphold. That means anybody who breaks this social contract we have has to suffer the consequences. We all should understand this fact when we sign up. There is no excuse for violating the trust given out by friends.
  17. All ranks updated on Mercury.
  18. I felt the situation with Erebus was a combination of multiple factors. First, a lot of the hostility seemed to come from a lot of our newer members who probably did not know the members of Erebus and how they used to be Ordo members. Secondly, a lot of people tended to handle the situation themselves rather than speaking to the officers. Luckily I've talked with Failius quite a few times. He's been working in Erebus to help calm them down with no avail. Basically everything either side would do to help, would quickly be undone by people on both sides going at each other. So I've tried working with the personnel on sim, and he's been doing the same to Erebus members, and thankfully it seems to be working. I guess teaching people to try using reason and rhetoric before using bullets and bombs worked out after all.
  19. If you guys can convince me, and if we're using NWN 2 (since I cant find NWN 1 in stores or online), then I'll buy it and come play.
  20. I dunno if I should. NWN always sounded kinda boring.
