As a long time pilot within Ordo and SL in general, I will say that yes, if you have trouble running around on foot, piloting is probably not up your alley. But believe it or not, it's not as bad as it looks. I'm toying with the idea of getting permission to allow anyone interested to give the trainer a try so you all can see if your systems are stable enough to handle flight. This should give anyone who wants to a good idea if they can handle flying or not.

Something important left out. Make SURE to send enough to have a fighting chance AND keep enough back at Titan to keep it defended. This means at least 5 people. If you want to start a raid and you have only 8 people in total who are online and on Titan, then you realistically have only 3 people to send on the raid. Dont overestimate the enemy by thinking they'll never counterattack. Even if you're right, you're leaving Titan open to other enemies who may use the opportunity to attack us while we're busy elsewhere. So if you want to start an assault, do the numbers first before anything else. If you dont have enough, either get them, or be smart and wait until you have enough people.

I'm probably going to get a lot of negative flak for saying this, but it's my opinion. If civilians decide to stick around a war zone, then they better accept the consequences of their decision.

Was working on officer candidate school. I forgot about it, so I'll try to get things worked on again. This will be a public project, so I'll probably make a thread about it and formulate plans there with input from other officers.

I just want to make a point. I dislike people who bash games before they ever try it.

The only thing I consider poor taste is when it's intentionally done to spark an angry reaction. Whether preemptively or reactively.

I was sitting in class, dont remember which one. I was leaning over to talk to a friend about something and one of the teachers ran in and told my teacher to turn on tv. We watched literally as the second plane hit. The rest of the day, no classes were held. Instead class after class we sat and watched the news as the disaster unfolded.

Just to make something clear here. Remember that when you speak to others outside Ordo as a member of Ordo, you WILL maintain professionalism. When you are wearing the uniform and/or tag, you represent the group whether you mean to or not. Whether or not you personally respect others, you will treat them with respect and civility. You will not let yourself sink to their level. If they want to play dirty word games, fine, let them. Ignore the barbs and uphold the standards we have in Ordo. IF you want to run your mouth at someone, take off the tag, take off the uniform, and speak to them as a civilian.

I have it and Opposing Fronts. I suck at RTS games though.

Sim redesign: Not a whole change, but something to make it easier to keep track of who is where and improvements so pilots dont constantly freeze. Training: Training is still sporadic. Could use something to keep track of what is when and where. Joseph's head: Still needs hair.

I like the idea of turn-based games, but to be honest the whole "build up an army so random people can attack you" games turn me off.

Since I work at a gas station, pretty much my only job is to handle people coming in. There are periods of time when nobody else is here.

One thing I like is a good "top 10" website. Anything with random images and whatnot. Something I can glance at every now and then while dealing with people. Games are ok, but I usually dont have time to play through an entire level of a game without pausing it several times.

Okay, I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets bored at work. So anybody got any suggestions for us that are slaves to the desk on good SFW websites?
