My time in SL started somewhere around August of 2004. My main account, which I can no longer remember the name of, lasted all of a week as I struggled to see the purpose of SL (mind you at this time things were stupidly expensive and there wasn't even a tenth of the current landmass). I quit SL and vowed never to come back, which lasted all of 7 months before a few friends convinced me to come back. From then I spent time dawdling around random parts of SL. I wandered mostly until I discovered flying in SL from a place called Abbotts Aerodrome. A few months go by before I manage to become not only an employee of Cubey Terra, but also one of his chief test pilots. I also got into other recreational activities like sailing the SL seas. Other than randomly cruising Furnation or pestering a few friends. It was at this point roughly two years later that I was so bored I was contemplating leaving SL for good. Thankfully a certain someone named Cade Stirling, who was a Praetorian at the time with Ordo, was on. I went over to bug her and noticed she was wearing armor and wielding some interesting looking weapons. Asking where they came from (thinking it was some form of store) I was told about the Ordo. I was skeptical at first of SL militaries. My first involvement with any of them was AN back in the days when they were sandbox police. I did not think highly of groups that ran around orbitting each other, but Cade was quick to disabuse me of that notion. She pointed out how everything has changed, and that I should consider joining. Having recieved the notecard application, I sat down and thought about it. Then I thought some more. I told myself that I would not join unless I was willing to dedicate myself to it instead of just lazing around for a week and then quitting the group. A week went by before I made my decision and on September 10th of 2007 I submitted my application to join. I first became a part of Terra, being assigned to the Legio Offensio Levitas, where I met people like Aelus, Soulbinder, and Jayce. I originally had plans to join what was then the unnamed fleet division, but was told that until it was finished I must choose Terra or Astra. It was about a month later after being in Terra that the love of flying was rekindled in me, so I put forth a request to transfer to Astra. I was flight certified only days before Titan was officially opened. As time went on, I eventually rose in rank to become the senior Centurion for Astra, building it's forces up from a mere handful to thirty active pilots. Once leadership of Astra passed to Sosarin, I decided to switch focus and help Ethan rebuild Navis. Sadly this was a goal that is not yet within our reach. After closing down Navis, I decided with my real life getting more busy and frustrating, I would take a leave of absence from Ordo, and only returned 21 months later.

Try hitting a target from 500 meters with a SMG. The trick to using a rifle is knowing it's limitations. Your engagement range is large. You are also more mobile than a LMG. More accurate than a SMG. And for snipers, you have the edge when it comes to situational awareness. Whenever they're looking down that scope, they have no peripheral vision. Use that to your advantage.

Signed up. Let's get this shindig going.

If I can play with guys who won't up and decide to quit playing, I'm in. I've always wanted to settle in on this game but everyone I've ever played with stopped playing after a week.

I will say the game is utterly confusing unless you play with friends. I get lost so easily. Post some playtimes so everyone knows when they can play together.

I was going to add "When in doubt, ask the OIC" but I think it's better to say "When in doubt, use your judgement." It's easier to TP someone back than it is to fight off a sudden attack from behind our lines. And always look to defend yourself. If someone's coming at me with a gun, I'm going to defend myself. The only people I know aren't going to be hostile to me are fellow Ordo members and allies. If I see a civilian equip a weapon and aim at me, I'm going to shoot them. Simple as that.

While you're probably sick of hearing about Mr. Desereck Creeggan, it is crucial that you read this letter. Let us note first of all that we should agree on definitions before saying anything further about Mr. Creeggan's dishonest views. For starters, let's say that "mysticism" is "that which makes Mr. Creeggan yearn to show us a gross miscarriage of common judgment." He will treat people like puerile, deranged dorks because he possesses a hatred that defies all logic and understanding, that cannot be quantified or reasoned away, and that savagely possesses foul-mouthed philosophasters with repressive and uncontrollable rage. For the nonce, Mr. Creeggan is content to replace discourse and open dialogue with apolaustic philosophies and blatant ugliness. But by the next full moon, he will base racial definitions on lineage, phrenological characteristics, skin hue, and religion. Trapped by the cognitive dissonance engendered by hard evidence and common sense, he feels obligated to exploit the general public's short attention span in order to talk about you and me in terms that are not fit to be repeated in a depraved attempt to justify his obiter dicta. While there are many lousy, ignorant rubes, Mr. Creeggan is the most shameless of the lot. On rare occasions, in order to preserve their liberties, sometimes people must level filth and slime at everyone opposed to Mr. Creeggan's musings. Mr. Creeggan does that even when his liberties aren't being threatened. Contrary to popular belief, his hatchet jobs are designed to compromise the things that define us, including integrity, justice, love, and sharing. And they're working; they're having the desired effect. He sees himself as a postmodern equivalent of Marx's proletariat, revolutionizing the world by wresting it from its oppressors (viz., those who maintain the great principles of virtue, truth, right, and honor). Unfortunately, I can already see the response to this letter. Someone, possibly Mr. Desereck Creeggan himself or one of his toadies, will write an ornery piece about how utterly sick I am. If that's the case, then so be it. What I just wrote sorely needed to be written.

Found out today that a hero, maybe not the best of World War 2, but certainly one of the most loved, died on January 2nd. Rest in Peace, Major Richard D. Winters.

Ugh. I just got this game. I hate it already. The only good part is you don't need to pay monthly for it.

Vehicles aren't that overpowered. Especially due to the mortar spamming most people do.

Already Rear Admiral 5. Xang you get a third slot once you hit Lt 5, mostly for a Klingon

It's an old regulation from back in the day to nail people who were trying to recon the base. I don't think it's been an issue for a long time now.

All I'm going to say is, if it's good, me and Joseph will be adding twice the amount of profanity than any war movie, and still be having fun. Probably will pick BFBC2 over this though.
