  1. Lets be honest. If some sort of infected outbreak kicks off this second most if not all of us will die. I would take my loved ones and kill every survivor I find to scavenge their equipment and supplies for what I need. If they had nothing it looks like I've got more fresh meat to dry and preserve. A moral compass will get you killed. Your death generally means your loved ones have one less guardian. My view? Ffff the world. I look after my own.
  2. Made to withstand and overcome the rigors of warfare in the jungles of the Philippines against a moro insurgency and forging a home at the hip of soldiers, sailors and marines through two world wars, Korea, and Vietnam. And you put a pony symbol on it.
  3. A lot of people went on raids this day. Here's to you not giving up and giving us victories.
  4. We're choosing our superpower. Not yours. Enjoy your battlefield irrelevance, Aquaman.
  5. Hello and welcome to the Ordo Imperialis! Alpha Command is looking for soldiers interested in exciting opportunities in pillaging and annihilation! Do you like any of the following activities? - Raiding - Training - Hunting - Demolitions - Manslaughter - Knives - Sniping - Psychological Manipulation - Cunning Traps - Knitting If you have said yes to any or all of these options, then Insidiae may be the Alpha squad for you! Except for knitting. If you knit you're already denied. Insidiae is a light infantry unit with a focus on versatile, team-level movement and the liberal application of military-grade explosives to solve a variety of problems. A career in Insidiae is a career that will provide you with a very precise and specific training regime within the upcoming 'Dynamic Training Program' to make you a better light infantryman and the understanding that you will employ these skills to slaughter, maim, and humiliate enemy combatants over a variety of exotic, and repugnant, locales! The cadre of Insidiae hope to find qualified, active soldiers E-3 or above that display the following traits to apply for the selection process: - The capability of following simple to complex orders. - The motivation to participate in the regular raiding and devastation of enemy military groups. - The versatility to solve difficult problems with unorthodox solutions if required. - The courage to lead at least a three-man team if the need arises. - The durability to withstand the psychological demands of Insidiae training. Babying makes babies. Insidiae makes a man. - The ruthless aggression and capacity for malevolence necessary to see certain missions to success. - The patience to wait for extended periods if the situation demands it. If you are interested in furthering the goals of the Ordo Imperialis with the cruel precision of an Insidiae Commando, contact Ron Bleac or Carrious Darbyshire for more information.
  6. George Reisman: The problem is that the Ordo escalation of force is kind of like the Matterhorn. It starts to climb then suddenly it's a vertical wall. It's like you're at light...medium-ish...wall.
  7. I had no concrete time about when it should occur. Simply the thought that it would be nice. I've always wanted to go to the Louisiana that isn't Ft. Polk, Zrazor. I've only heard the best things. Up in the northeast we have a lot of revolutionary war battlefields, out west a little less. I would say somewhere in the south would be a nice bet because the outdoors there are wonderful. The NE has a lot of cities to hang out around as well as outdoors if we head west. Pennsylvania honestly has a lot going for it. Even if the people are LAME.
  8. A lot of people are going to Anthro Con to meet up and chill with Ordo. I think that would be great, but I realistically won't be able to make it this year. Probably for the best since there' some furry shit going on there too. I propose a Bro Con. We can get some Ordo dudes together to do some camping, fishing, paintball, and pubcrawling. Hit some battlefields and maybe a military museum. It would be fun as hell and I suck at fishing. Feasible?
  9. It's always good to hear that somebody has had a positive experience with our group. I hope you're able to enjoy yourself and I wish you luck.
  10. Your cliffnotes suck. I made very specific if-then statements. You're also derailing this.
  11. Shit happens. If your real life gets in the way, step down. Real life should always take priority and if it doesn't let you hold a position then you probably shouldn't hold that position. I don't know what back ass-wards dimension you're in, but in this one what I say isn't weird. The standards I'm holding officers to is the standards officers should be held to; failure to meet them means you're not a good officer because an officer should be leading by example. I could pretend to kiss an ass but that's not how I roll. If you want to play the 'me vs. you' game I'm going through a divorce and filling out government paperwork. I haven't seen my daughter since I got out of the army. I give no shits about your problem catching up and how heroic you are for building instead of raiding. Some people are builders. Other personnel we have are admin. There are plenty of staff and leaders in combat positions and roles who aren't doing what they should and that is who this is directed to. Not you.
  12. I'm an enlistedman. This means that many decisions that have an impact on the Ordo and my experience within are transparent to me. I understand that there are many things I do not know, many things I do not need to know, and probably a lot more that's pretty boring and I don't care about. What I do know is that there has only been a select number of personnel that have been less active than desireable on the subject of raids. Now I can see the perspective of raids being unpleasant, even a hassle. What I cannot see is how people that do not lead raids or do not participate expect to goad on those that do. The Ordo Imperialis has a very reasonable policy of gathering a minimum of three raids each SL day; an easily attainable number that should not be difficult to achieve. Time and again, though, the responsibility lies on a very select group of individuals to ensure that this quota is met; regardless of what we would rather do and regardless of what we have on our plate. Your regular raid leaders work pretty hard to push those raids out the door and come back with a victory, if possible, only to find more that requires to be done. In order to address this as quickly, efficiently, and blatantly as possible I will provide you one of the gifts I most easily provide. Brutal, ruthless honesty. If you are an officer and you have expectations of your men to meet a requirement, you had better be exceeding that requirement yourself. If you are an officer and are waiting for somebody else to take the initiative, you're probably being a shitty officer. If you are an NCO and you are afraid to take command when command must be taken, you should probably be Numerii. If you are in a cadre and have been largely absentee, you should probably find someone more qualified for the job. If I see leaders asking someone to lead a raid without at least offering to take one themselves, I'm going to call you on that. If I see people that don't raid telling me to raid, I'm probably going to tell you to eat a dick. If I decide to take a break from SL to do something else, because a break is deserved, and I'm called back because leaders are being weak, I'm going to get to the bottom of who is being weak and I promise I will help you fix your problem. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go to Arby's to get a couple badass sandwiches, get some beer, and relax.
  13. I'm interested in participating in this program. If it is a possible solution, I feel it should be provided serious consideration and experimentation.

  15. Standard insurgency tactics were employed to great effect. As George stated earlier, a spectacular ambush destroyed the first cop, repeated with small arms at another site. Focus was placed on mobility to avoid the prospect of engaging a QRF and to ensure that they could not muster to repel a predictable ambush site. If enemy elements were not wiped out entirely, forces broke contact to lead pursuers into secondary ambushes where they could be gunned down at our leisure. Four of us killed a great many of them with little trouble. This illustrates several points that should be touched upon and refined for uncontested dominance. I will go over these each in detail. - We do not require a base, vast sums of money, or advanced equipment to achieve victory. Standard assault rifles will be sufficient, especially when tactics are shifted to engage the enemy on our terms. This can be done very quickly. - Communication was disciplined, coherent, and efficient. While it is easy to dismiss this advantage to our limited numbers, it is a microcosm of success that displays what must be employed to make large-scale operations smooth: If we are engaging the enemy, shut up. I will elaborate upon that in an upcoming communications class but to summarize it: If you are not in a command position you do not need to talk. Team leaders will provide sitreps. - Mobility is key. We are an underarmed and equipped group when placed side by side with the police. Their tactics obsess over superior technology, gifted marksman, and poorly organized infantry rushes. Heavy ground equipment moves ponderously and is easily negated with Rasman's numerous streets, alleys, and buildings. Air is not a problem when you are in a building and can be dispatched by a flanking fire team. Marksman are negated by denying them the line of sight they require to be effective. Their infantry can be drawn into fatal funnels where they can be mowed down. - We are most lethal at mid-range. Long range exposes us to their marksman and close-range, without prior preparation, allows the enemy to set the tempo of battle. We must manipulate them into engaging us on our terms and, at mid-range, an AK is sufficient. Gentlemen, taking the time to gather armor, superweapons, and air places us on the same playing field as the Police and UN. The difference is that they can reacquire that equipment easily whereas we are severely set back and our assault or defense is immediately crippled. Give our men cheap, easily acquired weaponry. Our leadership and training are weapons far out of their league.
  16. Always wanted to charge Rebel lines in a steam tank.
  17. Burr. Cast Matthew Broderick as Tony Stark then Tony Stark as Aryte. I believe this meets all criteria.
  18. Dwayne Johnson as Twitchy. Walter Matthau as Krin.
  19. It's hundreds of years of slavery that makes me so intense.
