Perhaps if you have a tablet, you should move your pen away from it while on SL. I've learned that my tablet (Genius G-Pen F509) loves to make SL spin out of control if I leave my pen resting on the tablet, or even near the tablet when I'm not working, but has no control over other applications (like Bad Company 2, or regular mouse movement even, as the pen isn't moving, etc). If that is not the case, try checking other devices, like a joystick/spacenav, or whatnot as your issue seems to be more based around SL accepting some sort of input from a hardware device, in contrast to some sort of SL bug(?).

Posting a note here because I've already sent a offline message in-world to Agares, but don't want it to get lost in a sea of capped IMs; I've been really sick the past 4 days, it's starting to really fuck me up, and I have an appointment with my doctor on Wednesday. I don't know how online I'll be for the next few days, since I can hardly get out of bed to type this up. Hopefully I'll be able to feel better by Wednesday~Thursday if I can get some sort of antibiotics, in the meanwhile I can try and commit to my schedule, but I don't know how available, if at all, I'll be in the hours before/after that specific time slot as the most I can do out of bed right now is maybe an hour or two until I start to get sick/vomit.

I could not agree more. FRAG has a HUD they sell apparently that tracks avatars through land/walls. And we used to issue a old HUD (Terra HUD?), that did the same thing. But we don't anymore. It's not fair, and it's the same thing, albeit laggier, it's the same thing. In my opinion, all of the above are unfair, and should be prohibited, at least from Ordo personnel to use any of the methods mentioned in this thread. It's cheap, and it's low, it shows no skill, nor honor or respect for your enemies in combat if you fight unfair.

Why is there no option in the poll for "Intentionally/Unintentionally disrupting sim physics"? Because that's probably one of the biggest flaws in SL combat. --And I mean as it's own option and not stating it as an additional option tacked on to "spamming bullets/explosives", since that seems to be the case. Also the fact that the option is specifically is calling out 2142 doesn't really appeal to me.
