[2008/11/17 19:02] Aryte Vesperia: As many of you are aware, at this time, Vanguard as we knew it is no longer.

[2008/11/17 19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Earlier today, Christoph Naumova announced a disbandment of the organization.

[2008/11/17 19:03] Aryte Vesperia: For many of us, this is a pleasent surprise after months of tribulation.

[2008/11/17 19:04] Aryte Vesperia: For some of you, it's the fruit of many hours of burden.

[2008/11/17 19:04] Aryte Vesperia: There has been some idle discussion as to "why" Vanguard has summarily tanked. Frankly, if you're claiming credit, you're probably only partially right.

[2008/11/17 19:05] Aryte Vesperia: This was not simply the effort of one individual. Or, even one group.

[2008/11/17 19:05] Aryte Vesperia: It is the culmination of hundreds of man hours, from multiple individuals, on multiple fronts.

[2008/11/17 19:06] Aryte Vesperia: However, to be fair, a few of you can be counted as rather integral to this.

[2008/11/17 19:06] Aryte Vesperia: For that, I do extend my sincere gratitude.

[2008/11/17 19:07] Aryte Vesperia: You have, through your efforts, whatever they might have been, secured a future for the community that is no longer stained beyond recognition.

[2008/11/17 19:08] Aryte Vesperia: As part of my recognition for these efforts, I would like to make it clear to every individual here:

[2008/11/17 19:09] Aryte Vesperia: Zrazor Rozenstrauch and Tandem Destiny, among others, are sincerely afforded full pardons for whatever intentions or malice they may have committed toward the Ordo in the past.

[2008/11/17 19:09] Aryte Vesperia: We have not seen the last of Vanguard, that much is probably true.

[2008/11/17 19:10] Aryte Vesperia: But we have certainly seen the end of Vanguard's influence over a many good individuals.

[2008/11/17 19:10] Aryte Vesperia: The coming days--weeks, even, will be interesting, to say in the least.

[2008/11/17 19:11] Aryte Vesperia: I can't begin to imagine the burden that will crash into all levels of our administration as we grapple withe situation and pull it into control.

[2008/11/17 19:11] Aryte Vesperia: We are, however, prepared to face this burden.

[2008/11/17 19:12] Aryte Vesperia: First, your patience.

[2008/11/17 19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Many of you have priorities and wishes-- I understand that. You will not be forgotten. But I do ask that you understand the situation's we're facing and the period of transition the entirety of our community is undergoing.

[2008/11/17 19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Secondly, your understanding.

[2008/11/17 19:14] Aryte Vesperia: There will be, to be sure, some individuals in our uniform in the coming days-- individuals who were possibly bitter enemies at one time.

[2008/11/17 19:15] Aryte Vesperia: You must realize the era they've come from has died. Time has progressed and we must meet it in stride.

[2008/11/17 19:15] Aryte Vesperia: Lastly, your faith.

[2008/11/17 19:16] Aryte Vesperia: There will be many questions and concerns as we cross possibly shaky grounds. The stress of region building and the effect this downfall will create on our administration may garner images of indifference, or even possibilites of being jaded.

[2008/11/17 19:17] Aryte Vesperia: That is not the case, nor will it ever be.

[2008/11/17 19:18] Aryte Vesperia: Grant me, along with your officers, your faith and good will. I promise that we do everything we do with the utilitarian good in mind.

[2008/11/17 19:22] Aryte Vesperia: At this time, however, Vanguard remnants are to be considered--loosely--neutral and noncombative, unless armed and demonstrated otherwise.

[2008/11/17 19:23] Xayvien Rau: I actually wouldn't expect Christoph to be gone completely. He did take a large bite out of the apple of SL armies, and it would only make sense he'd come back for more...Understood, Sir.

[2008/11/17 19:26] Xayvien Rau: People like Tangent and several others who we considered hostile because of actions with Vanguard, what of them? Because it seems they'd be in a gray area much like the true members.

[2008/11/17 19:27] Aryte Vesperia: There's quite a lot of due diligence to be done.

[2008/11/17 19:28] Xayvien Rau: Do you also expect armies run by minor people that were supported by the Vanguard to convert, or break down?

[2008/11/17 19:29] Xayvien Rau: I.E: Like the Chaos Imperialis, which had Vanguard support to an extent.

[2008/11/17 19:29] Aryte Vesperia: At this time, it's a bit early to make calls on that. Groups like the CI were independant, and will likely remain unphased (if not increase in size).

[2008/11/17 19:31] Rei Kuhr: Vanguard was banned before by actions of their members. Those that are left will possibly continue to attack with weapons such as the Einstein missile. Will those individuals still be banned?

[2008/11/17 19:32] Aryte Vesperia: Former Vanguard will be removed from the ban list, provided their initial ban was on reason of VG allegiance.

[2008/11/17 19:32] Aryte Vesperia: VG technology did have authorization built into it. As I understand that would be disabled now.
