He didn't get the laser implant option though, probably due to the slight increase in cost. Apparently there's a cross-hairs option that projects a heads up display on the retina. This can be useful for tank commanders and Astra personell, and comes in at a slightly cheaper rate. I hope someday we might be able to modify our photoreceptor density, or just be able to replace our eyes with synthetic implants. Hawks have 20/2 vision or so. Also most birds have 4 types of cone cells while the very large majority of humans have three. Where humans can see from red to blue/violet, they can see from red to ultraviolet.
