Arokh Takakura
Brutal, metal-twisting chaos. ranging from 1-vs-1 to all out mob-battles of these half-tonne monsters.

Scarlet Flaks
I'm pretty sure America did this first in the 90s, I remember there were at least four different shows of the same concept on various networks. Also, this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robot_combat
Deadmon
There was a time when robot fighting was huge in US yeah,I always preferred "Junk Yard Wars" where they sent 2 teams, both assigned 1 expert engineer on the subject of that challenge, into a junk yard to make shit like hovercraft races, cars, cannons, RC submarines, airplanes, ect. George Reisman
Junk Yard Wars was bad-ass.But the best show on British TV is Top Gear.
Arokh Takakura
Yeah Junkyard wars existed in the UK in the form of 'Scrapheap Challenge' p.much exactly the same show.

Arokh Takakura
The I.T. Crowd.Same format. Badly executed.NEED I GO OOOOOOOOOOON?
Cyphre Iredell
You're trying to compare the IT Crowd to The Big Bang Theory? That doesn't even make any sense. The office was nice but If you want to list other horrific abortions of TV shows that crossed the atlantic, there are plenty other bad examples to list in north america's favor. Scarlet Flaks
American version of The Office is better, only redeeming part of the UK version is Ricky Gervais. IT Crowd and Big Bang Theory aren't that similar at all. I've never even heard of the second two.ENJOY YOUR KNOCKOFF ROBOCOMBAT SHOWS. Deadmon
I liked the american office better, but yes it was originally UK. Big Bang theory is also way better than IT Crowd, and not exactly the same thing.

CrescentSnow
I like the Red Dwarf UK version better. UK came out with Dr. Who and Torchwood. :) Those are good shows.
Ron Bleac
Finland did it first. This is authentic footage of our fantastic battlebot, the "Karelian Fist" working against Stalin during the Winter and continuation Wars.[media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yKYcCi3_Hw
SalemAdams Wobbit
And the US did try to continue Doctor Who (1996 movie anyone?) which failed to revivie the series, resulting in the shortest tenure as The Doctor on screen (1 episode, feature-length (which in the US is about 90 minutes)).Although, they are Americanizing Torchwood (Torchwood: Miracle Day was done jointly with BBC and Starz).Another good show is Sherlock (created by Stephen Moffet and Mark Gatiss), and that's another joint BBC venture (with Masterpiece).
