RazorFox Posted August 8, 2012 Author Share Posted August 8, 2012 The neat thing about this particular shakuhachi is that it's made using really thick bamboo and is about the heft and size of a police baton. This is apparently traditional, because these flutes doubled as weapons in ancient Japan.
