Jayce Iredell
Flexible sculpted prims D: its just a matter of time before someone makes a flexi dong...
Anlysia Gregoire
Done already. Moy's video of flexi sculpts from months'n'months ago already featured one.
Kytec Switchblade
the 2nd one is BAD it would be fine for us but people would abuse it so hardpeople would be actually able to numerically mass teleport straight into our base.
Cyphre Iredell
Flexi maps for sculpties were already on the agenda some ways back, but hasn't gotten implemented thus far :/
Steff Flintoff
Done already. Moy's video of flexi sculpts from months'n'months ago already featured one.that was opensim I think with a custom client, and problem with the flexi sculpts there, is that, flexi in SL is only a 4x4 mesh I belive, while the ones in opensim use all 32x32, so it'd be hella laggy with the ammount of flexies that are around you on a normal day.LL are still stuck on how to make flexi sculpts that look good, but use as few vertices as possible.Personally I'd rather have collition detecting flexi and the abbility to attach other prims to the flex part of a flexi then flexi sculpts. Scientific Waffle
Very wary about llTeleportAgent() and the ability to change the hitbox, those could definitively be abused. There would have to be major restrictions on those for those to not majorly fuck up SL combat. And in terms of sculpty flexis, I really don't see why this is already done. The tech to do this is out there (as opposed to something that might even be better, such as Steff's suggestion), all they really have to do is release it. In terms of the detail of flexi sculpties, just make it like EVERY OTHER graphics intensive process and give users the ability to select different levels of detail :/
Dominic Zapotocky
There are already custom clients which support flexi sculpts, but its purely for testing purposes right now.
Scientific Waffle
There are already custom clients which support flexi sculpts, but its purely for testing purposes right now.Aye, hence my point that the tech is already done, LL would only really need to do minimal work to get this into SL as a working feature. Of course, knowing LL, they'd somehow manage to make this a grid-wide security breach or something by the time they got around to implementing it xD

Emma Roy
Moy's flexi rendering is just client side.. so its a piece of cake to implement.
Anlysia Gregoire
All flexi rendering is client-side. Which is why flexis have to be phantom, they look different on different machines.
