Cygna
Please make sure you're following the guidelines to standard topic name format for defense reports.Few things to reiterate:no need for the word "to" when "-" is shorter and easier to followtilde (~) is not hyphen (-)no need for colons (:) in 24-hour time formatno need for am/pm in 24-hour time format
Cyphre Iredell
Should really find something more productive to do with your time than nitpicking symbology for threads posted by people not in Data Entry jobs, where special syntax is required for an external medium to register properly. Nice and all to have conformity, but minor tidbits don't appear pertinent to call everyone out, as it were, for a 'third episode' detailing your hatred of tildes and colons. Also you missed the part about a standardized MMDDYY format since I see up there someone using YYMMDD as per the common European standard (especially with the year being 10). Sera Otoro
personally i think we should copy paste how murcury says it, but i also pull faces when the dates and times are not done how they should be... i suppose my OCD is to blame there... Trevor Russell
To avoid confusion with the European/American difference in dates, I propose we format dates as the Imperator has done for ages, that is instead of 13/1/10, or 1/13/10, we use 13JAN10. No one can get confused, and it is A LOT (from personal experience) more readable. Thoughts?
Cygna
That's a good idea, Trevor. Would Probably be best like that.
