I was out at a Retail Park today and saw this and thought You would all find it funny. Seems CSL are branching out to New avenues of business.

I agree, though it seems alot of groups right now are going through some sort of drama, lets hope it doesn't last for very long.

Thats a fact, though thankfully our members aren't the sort that would abuse that privilege just for laughs.

I'm still not convinced but we will see how it goes in actual combat.

Why don't we keep the patrol zones the way they are and just let are troops go into the minimal patrol zone during a defense? As making the bridges yellow means we can walk into the not patrol zone since they cross into there as shown in the picture. Main defense should be from the wall, we should only need to go into the yellow area on the picture to rout and hard to hit enemy. As making the whole of the yellow green puts the attacking enemy at a disadvantage thus making it un-fair to them. Particularly since having the whole yellow area become green, it makes it much harder for the enemy to advance which makes the power station that Niiya setup which when scripted will bring down are shields once the code is punched in totally useless as the enemy will never make it close enough. Then the enemy will say are being unfair by giving them a way to get into our base but then making it too hard to get to. Our sim is hard enough to attack as it is, the new patrol zones just made it twice as tough and you need to remember that we aren't attacked at the moment by enemies that field large numbers, mainly cause they can't. BTW is this what Your talking about?

So why not just stick to the old zones with the "Green Zone being the Primary Patrol Zone and rest of the East side of the ravine the Yellow Zone like before if as You say primary defense should be conducted from the wall? Heres what I mean.

The walkthrough will help alot, but wouldn't it just be easier to have someone from either Astra, Navis or Terra come in to the class as a guest speaker and inform the cadet that way as they will be able to do it better than lets say Me reading it off a notecard. As they will be able to speak from a first hand perspective, like is lets say Damion was teaching a class who hasn't been part of Astra asked Heather to come and talk about Astra, she's be able to explain what Astra do better than Damion as she is Astra. Its like someone who's knowledge of a subject is completely learned from a book compared to someone for has actually done it. Hell I used to be an Air Cadet and have been flying before, but that doesn't mean I can talk about Astra and explain with feeling what its like to fly a Praeda or a Nemesis as I haven't done it. Not to mention real world flying is completely different from SL flying as You have different factors to contend with such as lag, granted we all have experience lag, but I'm sure the lag I feel running through a sim is different to the lag someone in Astra feels trying to fly a plane around.

I like the new supposed outline as its more in depth with things. I've always hated having to rush through things cause of the time limit put on each part, this new outline will eliminate that and allow us to teach the Cadets everything about the Ordo and sending those that pass into their choice of branch with all the info they need saving them from having to ask questions later. I would like to see more depth on explaining all our weapons, particularly showing them being used maybe on the range or some where on the sim. Another thing I think would be good is including more instructors from Navis and Astra, that way when we get to the part in Phase 2 where we discuss the divisions, we can have someone who is the that branch who will be able to explain it better than lets say someone in Terra trying to explain Astra or Navis. Also moving the lecture outside the classroom particularly for the Weapons, Gear and Attire section in Phase 4 will make it more enjoyable for the Cadets.

True, but it doesn't mean thats going to stop people from trying to impress using that tactic, though hopefully Me, You and Endra discussing it will deter anyone from using such methods now and in the future.

WHOA!!! I totally didn't see that coming :shock: I am happy that she was picked as she's done so much work for us recently its nice to see that she's been rewarded in such a way. Congrates to her for becoming a Praetorian though she will be missed as part of Fulminata I look forward to seeing her in her Praetorian Robes. :thumbsup:

Congrates to You both, it will be interesting to see how You do in each others former roles. It will also to see Aelus for the first time out of Praetorian gear and Intus in Praetorian gear, considering they have both been in the previous role since I started, which was a year ago now. Anyway as they say, change is good and should benefit the group, so I welcome this change. :thumbup:

I just wanna say that I wish everyone that may have made any kind of shortlist the best of luck, it will be interesting to see the outcome of this, particularly who becomes the next Praetorian. The next couple of weeks are going to different for sure as I can imagine alot of people will be on the best behavior and going that extra mile. Lets just hope that the extra effort people put in now to try and impress is continued should they get a promotion.

Alex, You should add some of the old consoles, as in from the 8 and 16 bit days aka the Master System and the Mega Drive, they had some fantastic games, especially fighting games like Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat. But I feel PC should be removed from the list as this is about consoles.

I think its laughable that they are declaring war on the whole of the IS just cause of the EU, but let them come if they they wish, if they want a War, we'll give it to them. What I find funnier is the fact they claim to be declaring war on the IS yet they add the following groups, Second Life Sky Navy, Chthonic Syndicate, Republic of Germany, Sparta, Guerilla Rebels and 2142. I don't remember them being part of the Iron Symphony. Plus when did the Mercz become the dominate power in the IS? I don't think Aryte would be to happy if Lurdan and Anthony tried to shout him down in a meeting or pull rank so to speak. Where they came up with that one I'll never know. But we'll see how this pans out in the coming weeks.

Do You know how many prims the Ordo Prim Cross is? Not to mention its now out of date since we have a new logo. So it shouldn't be allowed to be worn by anyone aswell as replaced with the new logo.

I used wear with My armour the EAC Combat boots and with My dress uniform the EAC GetaGrip boots both by the EAC Corporation, both of which are of a military standard and look militaristic hence the reason I started to wear them. Originally I started to wear them because I saw Arch wearing them one day when I logged in and when i told him that I had bought them also he said the reason he bought them was for their military look. I request that they be reviewed so that I may hopefully continue wearing them.

I've already removed the prim logo off My power first with Anlysia's help and replaced it with a texture which knocked a good 150 prims off it. As Squad Advisor I advise all Fulminata that use the power fist do the same.

I think we should see where things have progressed to in a months time and if Fernando has been able to change his groups way of thinking. If not then they are obviously unable to change and we can go back to thinking and talking about them the way we currently do.
