  1. You all may have seen this, hell it may have already been posted, but here it is anyway, It made me laugh.
  2. Congratulations Damion, I'm sure You'll do very well in Curia. :D
  3. Congratulations to everyone that got promoted and big ups to Sera for being picked to be a Praetorian. :D
  4. I'm not sad to see him go as he and I have had crossed words over issues that are best kept out of this. I am sorry to see that he went the way he did, as even though I haven't always been the model soldier, I have always followed and respected the rule about no Lone Wolf missions. As if said Lone Wolf mission is a success, it puts those in command in a split position, as on the one hand they have to discipline the action in order to maintain order. But at the same time want to praise them, especially if what they did was truly epic. Yes I said that word, but in this instance that word means what it does and I'm not just using it because its a word that everyone uses whether its worthy or not. But back to the matter at hand. I agree with Mike on that bending the rules is never a good idea as it just leads to more problems. Even when bending the rules maybe a good thing, it doesn't mean its the right thing and all the pros and cons must have been made up before deciding to. Hopefully this dismissal/ejection will serve as a warning to anyone thinking about it, aswell as an example to what happens to those that do it and don't heed warnings.
  5. I look forward to this greatly and hope I'm lucky enough to have a hand in its development, hopefully in a large way, if not then a small way. I also look forward to seeing Navis's new fleet, as I'm sure we've all seen atleast one possible new ship being worked on and look forward to seeing the others. I would also like to see this month the Alpha Squads doing more training in their specific fields aswell as joint training and possible joint raids, as I have some idea for this but will hold off saying anything till I've had a chance to speak to my unit commander.
  6. Take care of Yourself Dude and come back soon and lets hope everything gets back to normal where You are soon. :D
  7. Stay safe Dude, see You when You come back.
  8. Congrates My friend, I thought I had already made a reply to this but I guess not. Anyway I'm sure Your going to use Your new position to do even greater things, good luck.
  9. Congratulations to those that got promoted, everyone has worked hard in the last few raids and its good to see that hard work rewarded.
  10. Its not about acting as a goto guy, its about those above You reconising You as a goto guy and this position should show that.
  11. Congratulation SoulBinder like others, I can't think of anyone more worthy or right for the role, I look forward to seeing what You do in the position.
  12. Good luck My friend and congrates on sone becoming a father, I hope we get to see pics in the future. Best wishes to You and Your wife, we look forward to seeing Your return to Your post, Terra won't be the same without You. :D
  13. Congratulations to You both, I wish You both the best of luck on this next step in Your Ordo Career.
  14. I'll add My name to the hat Like Jester as it will give Me something to do when I'm not doing Fulminata stuff. Plus I'd welcome the opportunity to show that I have more to offer than just My skills with a weapon.
  15. What I would like to see apart from Chronus becoming more useful is NCO getting greater powers to do things like lead squads and missions, aswell as seeing them actually having to go through some sort of training to earn the right to be Staff members. That training is currently be worked on, but I feel that once its completed and taught, it should be a source of future promotions and abilities. Hell I'm an E-5 and am not a Staff member, yet there are people in the group who are a lower rank than I am and not as active who are Staff and I think thats wrong. Loyalty should be rewarded with more than just promotion to a higher rank, plus the abilities of said rank should have a clearer outline which should be something that everyone in the group is made aware of and understands. As in when if I come on sim and make my presence known via the comm, should I outrank those on sim, I should be offered command of the sim and have the ability to take it or decline it allowing the person who is in command at that time to retain command thus making them feel that their judgement and ability is valued. I know this may sound like I'm just complaining because I wasn't chosen as a member of the Terra Staff and You'd be right, but I'm complaining because right now I feel my rank is nothing more than a texture on my armour. After all it not like I've been called on to lead a group of people in an assault, or that it provides me with a seniority that would guarantee that my name be on the list to lead people in an assault. I would also like to see more opportunities for people to prove they have the ability to lead without needing to be a Staff member of a Schola Instructor. Now that thats out of the way I'll get off my soapbox and move on. It seems everyone would like to see Chronus being used more and I agree, I also like the idea that many have mentioned where we adopt a similar idea to the Mercz where we have on sim dedicated to the base and the other sim being sort of a no mans land that would give those attacking a place to better launch an attack from making combat fairer to both us and our enemies. After all, with how it stands now, the only thing stopping us from wasting the enemies upon their arrival is our sense of fair play, as in not standing above the spawn and raining down hellfire and brimstone. I also like the idea of giving the enemy their own trenches, as it would make combat last longer if like us, they could drop down behind the trench wall and re-think their stratergy. For those of you that were here when we had that 6 hour siege of Titan, you'll remember it lasted that long cause they had a place to launch the attack from aswell as protection from our weapons. Plus if you remember we were attacked on mass but if I remember correctly four different militaries that had called a truce to hostilies to attack their common enemy, which is something I haven't seen since. Lastly weapons and armour modifications, while I agree it needs to be adressed, I don't feel its a subject that should take priority ove the issues I've mentioned plus issues that other have brought up like sorting out Navis.
  16. Congratulations Saz, you certainly deserve it for the time and dedication you put into the group. Its an honour to both serve with you and under you. :D
  17. I can't actually see the majority of Glow due to My graphics card not letting Me, I only can see it in some degree atleast on My armour when I set the sim to Midnight. I can see where this discussion has come from, and the need to address it as I wasn't fully aware of it till I saw the most recent Ordo vid on YouTube, though I'm sort of sitting on the fence on this one as I can see both sides. A solution to this would be to revoke the ability to personalise our armour bar making it fit our avatars, as in all of us in default colour armour with only the rank insignias and department logos making the difference to each. Ofcourse the ultimate solution would be include as suggested Demo's shape along with the armour and make us all wear that. Making the only way to tell us apart would be the differences in our avatars as in hair, skin and species aka Human, Furry and so on. The question is, would Aryte goto that extreme limit or not and would we as a group be willing to accept it in order to remain members of the Ordo Imperialis?
  18. I liked it, though he did tend to repeat the lyrics abit which alot of todays Rock bands do, all in all a good song though.
  19. Thanks to all those that recommended Me from Promotion and congratulations to the others that got promoted also, keep up the great work everyone. :D
  20. I decided to join after bumping into Sazuka at Fynist Island home of the then Slavic Union Armed Forces who I been spending time with doing combat training. I knew Sazuka from when I was part of the United Federation Starfleet, which is where we met and got on pretty well. Anyway she had just arrivd on sim in her Schola uniform, which at the time I assumed was something to do with Star Wars since I knew she was into that from seeing her in her Mandalorian Armour over at UFSHQ. I saw her again afew days later after she had graduated from Schola and was a full member in her Medium Armour and decided to ask her about it since I was having second thoughts about it being something to do with Star Wars. She then explained what it was and gave Me the links to YouTube vids, which as soon as I watched them, I was hooked and knew I wanted to be part of it. When I contacted her to tell her I was interested she told me to contact Yoko, which I did and was sent the application form, I filled it in and was accepted, and have been in ever since. I'm glad I did apply to join as its was as though I found My calling so to speak on SL, even though I've had My share of arguements with both Enlisted and Officers, I'm still here and still love it. I guess what grabbed Me the most about the Ordo from what I saw in the vids wasn't just the excellent choice of background music, but the armour and the Military Tactics seen in the vids. The other thing was the shot of Gunau in Aelus's video in his Armour holsding his weapon on guard duty, the whole look of it was so cool and inspired Me to My first look. I also liked how Aelus added the text section in the video, as his choice of words just grabs hold of the Warrior within us all and inspires You join and be great, maybe the US Military should contact him and ask him to do their next recruitment video. :D Being in the Ordo is like being in the real Military, there at good times and there are bad, times to laugh and times to cry, Friendship, Comradeship and most of all Family, its a honour to be a part of that.
  21. Looks great, I like it alot, excellent work. :D
  22. This last man policy seems to Me to be the only thing a group like the AN would find annoying. Thats ofcourse if they just don't spawn camp us. Thought I like Rei's idea of attacking them atleast once as the British, that would be an interesting battle.
