Other notes: If you are assigned to a time slot, you are expected to appear at the time both SATURDAY and SUNDAY, unless noted otherwise. Mr. Jaxx Loon has been excused and will be moved to a special time slot, due to RL concerns regarding his job schedule. If you want to get an AiR interview, you must contact Tiridates Mikadze personally, and request one. Otherwise, he won't seek you out (I say you all make a cabal, and then IM him at once, asking for interviews).

What follows is the final schedule for THIS weekend (27th, 28th). If the assigned time does not work for, you must contact me today, otherwise this will be locked into place, 12:00 PM tonight, local time. After that point, your schedule is locked in place and cannot be altered for adjustments. You must report to me, or another senior Praetorian (READ: Evocati, Praefectus) -before- the start of the trial session you are assigned to. If one is late, either an extremely good reason is required, or your final score for the session -will- be dropped a whole grade level. All instructions regarding the trial session will be provided during the course of the session. Sessions should not exceed 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the phase we are testing. Just to remind you all, these are the times you are expected to meet. Those who do not list their times here, will not be scheduled. If you are not scheduled, you will not participate in the trials. The last day you can submit your preferred times, is tomorrow, Thursday. I will post the scheduling for this weekend's trials at 7:00 PM, Central US time any submissions after that point for scheduling (that have not already posted) will be considered unscheduled. This will be your only warning.

Also, if you missed the meeting, candidates, send me an IM in SL, and I'll pass you a meeting log to look over.

I will divide each day trial sessions will be held on into 5 sessions, to allow for everyone to participate at more convenient times. Please respond with your preferred time slots by order of preference. Also take this opportunity to let us know if there will be any reason you will not be able to attend a trial session on a given day. Provided we are notified 48 hour sin advance, arrangements may be made. THis is a concern several of us have had, given that not all of us live in the same time zones or even the same continent. 3:30 is as good as I can do, unless You'd rather I set it up according to my own schedule. In which case, 4PM SLT would be my top choice. It is a difficult choice: Inclusion or convenience.

That is not why I delayed it, believe it or not. Those who miss any portion of the trials are not very sympathetic in my eyes, as far as their chances are concerned.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am moving the meeting to this coming Monday, 3:30 PM SLT. Please try to make it! :D

There will be a meeting at 3:30 PM SLT tomorrow, so that I can inform all the candidates of what, in more detail, the trials will include, what our expectations are for the trials, and also to answer questions and figure out the schedule. The schedule will be strictly adhered to, once it is set.

After two weeks, and much deliberation, discussion, and careful review, the list of approved Candidates to participate in the Praetorian Guard Trials is finished! I thank everyone for their patience as I realize those two weeks must have been a bit nerve wracking. There were a LOT of very qualified, skilled people who applied, and I must thank each and everyone of the applicants for applying. The Ordo Imperialis is truly blessed to have such a diverse and dedicated collection of people, all of whom I consider friends and comrades. Many of those who were not picked, where because of their excellent qualities that set them apart for alternate career paths within the Ordo Imperialis, and they too have my thanks. Once again, thank you and congratulations to all of you! Please keep your eyes peeled for the schedule for the Trials! It will be observed strictly and closely.

"Brother" Johnathan Zion, of the Zion Revival Church of the Lord's New Good Word Assembly, looked down at his feet and retrieved the expended children's Valentine's card and read it carefully, as snow and fog filled the air around him in the courtyard of the abandoned school. The last thing he recalled was hitching a ride with a truck driver, late at night, through Pennsylvania. He glanced at the sky, which was a slate of blank clouds, with no definable features. The fog got thicker as the snow lightened up. Suddenly, the temperature dropped considerably, and sirens, air raid sirens, began to wail in a maddened cacophony of noise. The sky dimmed considerably, and coming through the chilling fog came icy rain. The sirens stopped, and it was pitch black all around Johnathan. He felt a pressure on his shoulder, with gradual heat radiating from that point. He looked down and turned, startled by the touch. A faint, reddish glow filled his vision, and his eyes sought the source of the glow through the incredibly thick fog. A vague outline of a human shape loomed, glowing faintly in the distance, just beyond the range of recognition. It approached him, arms long and almost dragging on the ground, as a strangled, wheezing voice hissed with a gloating tone "Are you not a praying man, Brother Zion?" The sirens began again as the man ran blindly.
