My Brothers and Sisters, today, I have been granted the greatest honor imaginable, in the service of the Imperator. IT has been, for sometime, been a thing that I have pondered and wondered on, ever since coming to the Ordo Imperialis as a legionary in Levitas. However, I realize that with this Star, it is a recognition of service already given. The true reward, the real merit, is that the honor has been,not from this medal, but from the service I have given to the Imperator and to the Ordo Imperialis. In that sense, every one of us has been honored, to serve with such a fine body of individuals. People who have come together, worked together, and achieved together, to create this monument, the Ordo Imperailis. For this, we thank the Imperator, he is our guide, our mentor, and our friend. So, for this honor bestowed on me today, I can only ask that I continue to have the immense honor of serving alongside each and everyone of you. Ave Imperator! Gloria Ordo Imperialis!

In response to providing information on a development project, I tend to write up a detailed set of requirements and specifics that need to be met by the project. It helps give any scripters, animators, and audio designers an idea of what to be doing with the project, as well as anyone involved in implementing or approving the project, and idea of how the weapon will work, how the weapon will be deployed or utilized, and some delicious fluff on the weapon. Case in point: the Devastator Autocannon and the Ballistae Heavy Siege Howitzer both have a specifications set drawn up that detail these bits of information. These specs lists help give people who need to approve the weapon a preview of how and what the weapon will be doing, before it's built or even scripted. Any changes can be easily explained, then, because there's a point of reference in the specs list.

I offer an alternative - Provide the modern equivalency (Private, Lance Corporal, etc.) as a side by side of the Classical Roman ranks we currently use. This allows us the option to use either one when addressing an individual, without having to replace the old system and gives new recruits a foot up in understanding our rank structure. As an example of how to do this: Roman | Modern | Class-Rank Milites | Private | Enlisted - 1 This presentation is easy to read and understand, with a blurb prior to the diagram.

Garion, you mean the lovely Imperial Aquila? Also, I'd think a short prayer or mantra might be appropriate on armor. I'd also recommend reading the Imperiosus Cult Liturgy, a document that was written specifically for the Ordo. It's chock FULL of mantras, maxims, sayings, sermons, and litanies that could be a rich field of decals. If you're interested, just ask me for a copy, and I'll toss on your way. Another set of decals could be battle damage, I.e. dried blood, mud, scratches, scrapes, cuts in the armor plating, bullet dings, or what ever else may happen to our armor in the course of war.

I'm nearly done with a second portion. The style changes from an introspective examination, to an outwards, dialogue bound observation. And HUMOR (yes humor) may find its way into the story. Oh my.
