As an example...I have a click-script in my helmet, a frosty breath particle thingy made by Niiya in my gas mask, a twitching tail, blinking Kani eyes, Demo's new MP5N, my AO, and my Ordo HUD that are scripted and my script time is only about... .154 I think, slightly over half the limit. On the other hand, I have a sword with two colour change scripts and three particle prims in it, and it sits at .296. By itself. So check your gear.

I can't use Word because the manuals are written in format to fit SL notecards, including a lot (A LOT) of hand-done spacing. Which I simply can't-do in Word. I'm also opening two notecards at once (or three, or four, or five, depending) and using them to cross-write different notations to keep them consistent between them. All that, plus the various people chatting me up in IMs whilst I'm trying to get this done.

Someone pushes you far enough, eventually you push back. You shouldn't have to take the high road forever, and it can be forgiven to slip sometimes.

Was in Ratin, attempting to get some work done...Keller is there, and Kitsy, and Dark Svenska shows up outside. Then starts TPing people. I fire up the ban list, and start banning them as fast as they appear, this goes on for awhile 'til we have a good 15 people standing outside the store banned. At some point in this I called for Ethan, who showed up. As well did half of Ordo after hearing about it over the grapevine, and Vent. *facepalms* Sekonda mass-TPs everyone back to Titan using some...thingy I don't know of. I come back, and continue managing the situation via wielding an almighty banhammer, repeatedly. Ethan goes outside and starts talking to Dark, and eventually Caine Constantine shows up and also starts talking. I didn't leave the store during any of this so I've no idea what was said, Ethan will have to chime in with that. Yes. The control panel next to them has little 1-2-3 buttons. Press the right combo into them, and the door opens regardless of your tag.

So I've taken it 'pon myself to update the manuals for all the TI gear, couple of you may have seen me ask for people to help me test stuff and/or glance at them...so I figured I should just make a forum post about the status on this miniproject. As well, to run through the commands and make sure everything works as advertised. I'm using a lot of copypasta on these (at least, so far) so I keep flubbing up simple things like forgetting to change the name of a weapon here or there, or confusing "sling" and "holster" when I go from a rifle to a pistol. And really, if the _new_ manuals have errors in them, that kind of defeats the purpose of this whole concept, doesn't it? So, anyway, looking for volunteer proofreaders. This is the point where I hope Gulliver is TI staff, and if he isn't I just co-opt him anyway. Post below if you want to help. (*: Why "complete (ish)"? Because I keep re-reading them and making minor copy edits to things I don't like, or finding things I missed. For example, I wrote the Heavy Bolter first, then the Storm Bolter, then the Bolt Pistol...then it occured to me that I'd completely forgotten the sling/draw commands for the Storm Bolter (because you can't sling the Heavy Bolter), and had to go back and re-add them.) Issue(s): 1.) Plasma Pistol holster doesn't alpha the pistol inside the holster when drawn. 2.) Clicking on the holster itself seems to not do anything, despite it showing up as clickable. Reported by: Nathaniel McLaglen
