Beta weekend is over, but I'm definitely glad I purchased this game.

When we found the channel Mercury used to communicate and would freak out E-1s by making Mercury talk to them.

Anybody else prepurchase? Been playing in the beta weekend and so far it's nice. Kinda hard though, but that's not a bad thing.

Wanted to point out that I find it hilarious that Cheddar was there. He's been playing on the server I've been on with U.S. SOCOM. He is THE worst pilot I've ever seen. Every time he's flown a helo for us he's either crashed and killed the entire team or gotten most of us killed through other means.

Trooper is 31, nearly 32 now. And yes, I've hit missions where even though I'm at the appropriate level I get my ass handed to me.

My republic trooper on Vrook Lamar. Haven't made an imperial one yet.

Thankfully it's just a cosmetic issue. Me and Ryk have seen this one happen a lot, even in instances. It will eventually go away by itself. Still though, nothing more annoying than trying to listen to dialogue while Ryk is going goddamn rambo in the background with his twin blasters :P

Just to clarify, by MMOFPS do you mean another one of those FPS games that has an item store and 32 player matches or an actual persistent world?

Yes but you can get those same benefits through singleplayer anyways.

Was excited for co-op until I heard it's basically survival against waves like CoD. Still, singleplayer is going to be great.

I'd consider buying her a laptop or a netbook. Since she's not a gamer, you don't really need an uberpowerful computer, and the portability would be a bonus for her.

They've stated it won't be possible to switch sides just by your LS/DS orientation.

I will answer any questions to the best of my ability. I haven't yet been able to play the newest build as invites are just now being handed out for it.
