  1. Too late, and probably too expensive. :P I purchased the Corsair and am really enjoying it.
  2. IS THAT SOME KINDA JEW JOKE!?!?! >:O
  3. Honestly I haven't had much chance to use it. I don't snipe much.
  4. So this new mouse is wicked awesome from the get go. But its like I breath and my pointer is on the other side of the screen. Then I checked my DPI settings.... 5700DPI. My old mouse was 800 DPI. Right now I have the levels to 1000/2000/3000 and I'll see how it goes, but it is very comfortable! I have never used a single-hand mouse before. All my prior ones were ambidextrous.
  5. There are about 4 versions of ACR handguards. The original Masada style, The standard Bushmaster ACR style The "Enhanced" style The Remington Military Style. :>
  6. I went with the Corsair. And Xoza, I need a real mouse, not a potatochip with a sensor.
  7. The Razer TRON is on Woot! today for 29.99. It's tempting, but I think I'll just grab the Corsair and have something less gimmicky and more sturdy.
  8. So my latest mouse is on the way out. It has begun to start randomly locking up, then my computer makes the "device connected" sound and it starts working again. So here is why I am looking for help. This mouse has been used to the point where they feet have essentially been ground down to be flush with the body. My mouse before this, a Microsoft Comfort 3000, was used to the point that the plastic finish began wearing off and buttons stopped working. I am not abusive to my mice, they just get used a lot. I need to know what mice can take this kind of use and not be dead in about 6 months. For those of you who don't remember my "new" keyboard, after my Mitsumi of 12 years had an encounter with a defective glass attempting to hold water, I replaced it with an IBM Model M. I like things that are built like tanks and made to last. Here are the criteria that I'd nee in a mouse... -Wired -USB -Durable -3 Button minimum (I don't need/want 8000 buttons though) -Full-sized A while back I was looking at some of these... Microsoft Sidewinder Series Cyborg R.A.T. Series Some of the more simple Razers? Thoughts?

  10. Since I have not posted it here yet...
  11. Now you can play sad songs for people wjhen their Munitorum requests get denied. :3 And that plush is adorable. Wow Kaska Wow. As for the Ammo... SVT-40 and two 91-30's? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED As you said last time at the range. "We can shoot until our handguards catch fired". Thats bad as. o.o Why do you need a creeper? You are already creepy enough. <InsertRimshotHere> Xoza beat me to this. I sure as Ffff hope so. I'd buy a pair if she did. Why... do your boots smell like bacon? --------------------------------- I DIDNT GET ANYTHING FOR CHIRSTMAS BUT DURING THE TIME FRAME I GOT SOME MELTED WAX. A few of the Hanukkah Menorah's we have. There are some more laying around, but this just gives you a very very small idea of how they can look. A kosher Hanukkah Menorah must have all candles in a straight line and must have one candle raised higher (the shamash, used to light the others). A Hanukkah Menorah is different than a Regular Menorah which only has seven candles and is lit for symbolic reasons daily. A Hanukkah Menorah may also be called a Hanukiah (han-nu-key-ah). Back left to right: -This round one is not kosher, but is included in this picture because it cannot use candles. It is a oil reservoir. -This is my family's main one. It is a very traditional design and material. For those of you who notice the little lever that is on the base, that one has a music box in the base. -This is some ceramic one. I have no clue where it came from. Front. Left to Right: -This was one of my Grandma's. Its a basic flat one with a very slightly raised center and a back piece. -This one is my personal one. I got it for my Bar Mitzvah and its very pretty. Its a little tarnished right now. Also, I have never used candles in this one, but rather little glass vials of solidified oil. It was given to me 3 months early by my Orthodox uncle and Anut so I could use it the Hanukkah before my Bar Mitzvah. :3 -This is one of my mother's that her mother gave to her after a trip to Israel. It is a depiction of the gates to Jerusalem. This was last night. I wanted to hold this post until I could provide you all with a picture of a fully lit one. :3 NOW AS FOR GIFTS Hanukkah is not a very significant holiday and traditionally the only thing that was done to celebrate it was eat stuff fried in oil. The giving of gifts was mor traditionally done on Purim, which occours in March. However, with the time of year being around Christmas, Hanukkah turned into a way for Jews to essentially have a holiday to celebrate and give gifts at the same time as Christians. There are many jokes about holiday sales to be made here.' This year, the main gift I got was acceptance from my father. I finally got the nerve to tell him that I own firearms. His response was the total opposite of what I expected. It was basically "Yeah I pretty much figured. As long as you are safe with them its no big deal." And then I showed him my UZI... Thats about as close to a gift as I got this year. So what if it was from myself. If they still ask to get me a gift, I'll probably say a bipod for my Savage Mark 2 bolt action rifle.
  12. ---Winners--- 1st: Zerowinged 2nd:Shizzerk 3rd: Ookamiwulf Randomly Chosen Door Prize: Drasamax I will contact you about claiming your prize(s). ---Rankings and Times--- Zerowinged: 4.08.768 Shiz: 4.17.435 Ookami: 4.17.871 Hoku: 4.37.572 Lanny: 4.43.031 Riff: 4.44.82 Ron: 5.02.523 Benchmark: 5.03.151 Drasa: 5.09.450 Sebris: 5.10.353 Intus: 5.12.400 Ethan: 5.29.684 Wolfbite: 5.45.704 Awanken: 6.47.514 Ron*: 7.19.12 ---Notes--- -Special thanks to those who participated. I was admittedly getting worried when there seemed to be so little interest. D: -Ron was given a second try after we realized he had a second game running in the background which is why he was derping all over the place. Deal with it. :D -Next time I will build a vehicle I can control the parameters for, because some people used only low gear, some were silly and used only high, and some shifted through the gears as I had intended. -Next time I may limit the time people can "practice" with the vehicle, as there were a few complaints on the grounds of not having time to get used to the vehicle. I had assumed leaving the rezzers out at least an hour before the event would have been sufficient, but next time I think a controled number of warm-up laps will quell any concerns of "fairness". -Aryte and Huttser didn't race as they said they would. This makes me a Sad Panda.
  13. ATTENTION FINAL RACE FORMAT DECIDED Due to having both today and tomorrow off, I have decided that the best way to allow the most people to participate while still keep the race feel will be to use Timed Heats. This format is essentially a standard bracket, but time will be kept for each race. The winner of the competition will be based on which of the highest ranking racers have the lowest average time around the track. This method allows us to have the race on multiple days, but to also keep the multi-person race feel. Today's heats will begin at approximately 1PM SLT. I will have the course set up and the bike rezzer out prior to that so participants can get used to how the bikes feel and handle (plus they are just fun as Ffff to ride :3 ) IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING EITHER DAY PLEASE POST BELOW!
  14. Apparently we have Saturday off as well. Is Saturday better for people than Sunday?
  15. http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/15894-ordo-holiday-grand-prix/ I didn't know we had Saturday off. If Saturday is more convenient/feasible for people we can move the event to tomorrow. :x
  16. The underslung flashbangs used by XAF last night were beyond bullshit. They worked more like a shower than a single point of impact and were beyond a 10m radius of impact. As for your question about explosives... As Agares stated, unless they use ray casting to detect along a possible path, and explosive essentially checks only for avatars within its specified radius. They have no way of knowing if you are behind cover because they are not looking for cover, just avatars. While not the best system, changing to a raycast system would theoretically put the military using it at a disadvantage compared to others not using the system. As such, the transition will most likely not happen, as no one military would trust other militaries enough to do such a thing.
  17. The problem is I do not feel it would be easy to keep clearing people off the road for each time someone randomly says they would like to go for a run. I will however get a stopwatch script ready and have this idea set up as a worst case scenario. I would much prefer to do standard races, but a time trial would work well if the former is not possible.
  18. If you are interested, please list the time of day that would work best for you. I am assuming people spend the evening with family, so I was thinking early to mid afternoon?
  19. COMING THIS SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY... On December 25th, as we will be closed for festivities, I have gotten the approval from Aryte to host a new type of event which will be known as the Ordo Gran Prix. The Grand Prix will consist of a tournament of racing around Titan on pocket bikes. The tournament structure will be of an elimination bracket with the top two advancing until only one winner emerges!* More importantly, there will be prizes! Prizes will include both the winner's choice of product from any company owned by an Ordo member (Ex. Titan industries, Defectiva!, Ironsight Armaments, Forge, etc) as well as QP. 1st Place: QP** + Two Store Items 2nd Place: QP** + One Store Item 3rd Place: QP** ----------Information---------- -Official Vehicle will be provided. No other vehicles may be used. -Time of event will be based on what time of day is best for all the Ordo people. -Vehicle rezzer will be placed a minimum of 1 hour before race start time to allow for riders to familiarize themselves with the motorcycles if they so choose. -Formal rules regarding track behavior will be provided at event start. -*Format may change if not enough people show to make an elimination bracket feasible. -**QP amount is to be determined by Aryte. He just said we could offer QP as prizes, not how much. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING PLEASE POST WITH THE BEST RANGE OF TIMES THAT WORKS FOR YOU. 20. I just got word from Priest that he received one of the two packages. He is heading out on a mission for the next few days and hopes the second package will be waiting for him when he gets back.
