Titan, the sim, turns one year old on June 1st. We will spend the day in celebration. :D A day long party. Casual dress, etc. More details later.

That's what the elite squads are for. Close knit, real specializations in small groups. IE: ODST.

I don't forsee a "weakening" of the role. Currently if one centurion gets busy offline, their legion falls apart. The whole idea behind each legion brooding an "unique" experience has failed-- the legions are relatively the same, spare who is a member of each. There are no specializations, just division of adequate staff. I have Intus who is great at micro management and paperwork in one legion, Eazy101 who's awesome at training in another, Striker who's great at command initiative, Gunau who's a charismatic cad and good at holding close knit feelings, etc, etc. I basically took all of my good people and said "only help these ten or so active guys, forget the other mass in the other two legions."

They are relatively small at this point. Slating them as an enemy would be useless. Providing them support so that they may possibly grow into an organization that could field a force is better in the long run.

This evening, Admiral Donat from the Iron Eagle Navy contacted me and briefly discussed the notion of aligning themselves with the Ordo Imperialis. The organization was formerly within line of the 39th and Sparta, however was largely forgotten and left to rot after a schism. I have decided to accept their offer of friendship, in hopes of cultivating a healthy organization out of what tatters remains. One that may serve valuable to our interests in the future, whether that's as an equal friend or a sparring partner has yet to be determined. Time and politics will tell.
