Aryte has a new Mustang, so now he needs a cool plate to go with it. Use the following to see if it's taken; I'd prefer the "Honoring Fallen Officers" or the Military Support plate. Post your idea here: make sure it isn't taken. Your chance to leave your mark on my car, for eternity! Option 1. https://servicearizo.../startChoice.do

[18:00:11] Aryte Vesperia: Meeting start. Please be sure to stay on task and maintain order. Comments or questions out of turn may result in dismissal from the meeting. [18:00:37] Aryte Vesperia: Statistics Members: 313 Cadets: 10 Applications New: 14 Accepted: 1 Denied: 4 Review: 9 Combat Defensive: 110 Offensive: 22 Allied Assist: 2 [18:01:24] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic report: a great week for combat! A lot of solid interactions across the board. Major kudos to all raid and defense participants. We exceeded our 3 a day goal: brofist to you all. Additionally, we warded off several large scale attacks on Titan. Diplomatically, all is rather normal. We interacted a couple time with ARK—both on Titan and in 39th’s region. Fairly good battles in both events. [18:02:02] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:02:09] WolfShaman Warrior raises hand. [18:02:22] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Warrior. [18:02:27] WolfShaman Warrior: Short one for Astra this week. Aquila getting a bit more active with the new members, people looking forward to the new equipment coming. I've been pretty busy with school so I've not been able to observe much this week other then that. Palaestra is on a good roll, getting individuals through training at a good rate. Reapers: This week was slow with in Ordo due to my inactivity because of my job. Rykiana had an emergency so couldn’t be present for a bit. Friday I offered to do PRFs since alot of members requested them for QP. We will be planning a Reapers staff meeting later tonight to get together and come up with 2 events a week, or every other week to keep things active. Thats it from reapers this week. Letalis: Last weeks focus has been on Training. Addison has been conducting a 'Hell Week' to kick things off, and things are set to contenue Once he's done helping family move. That about sums it up for Astra. [18:02:55] Hollowmengitus Yifu raises hand for Terra. [18:02:57] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:02:59] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Yifu? [18:03:17] Hollowmengitus Yifu: COHORS A: > A-I, Invictus: This week was a very strong and active week for Invictus! I would like to thank all of you guys for being very active this week for trainings, raids, and Art which I hope to see you tomorrow at. Otherwise I would also like to mention that Invictus does have a few openings left in the squad so please do IM Pr0wer Miles, Shizzerk Kostolany, or any member in the squad for more details for possible cadency. [18:03:51] Hollowmengitus Yifu: > A-II, Evalidus: >>Activity still holding around the levels of last week >>Stuff be planned >>Must put down Saints Row 3 >>Do more stuff. [18:04:09] Hollowmengitus Yifu: > A-III, Insidiae: Insidiae's still rolling along, new weapon concepts are in development. Raid numbers on the rise slightly. Still looking for interested recruits! If you're into explosives, barbed wire and heavy sandbags, this is your place to be. Contact Ron or Mackenzie. [18:04:29] Hollowmengitus Yifu: > A-IV, Praescius: Activity is up this week, hi-5 boys. Also, we would like to wish Ooki the best of luck as he transfered from our squad this week to join Insidiae to help work his magic over there. As usual, we have more slots open so contact me if you wish to join. :D [18:04:53] Hollowmengitus Yifu: > A-V, Saevitas: Another good week for A-5. Saevitas hosted joint trainings continue to see large scale turn outs, aswell as joint raid deployments. Plans are already being drawn up with A-1 to continue joint deployments on a larger scale for this following week. [18:05:17] Hollowmengitus Yifu: COHORS B: > Thatguy: Looking better activity-wise. Some of the people who have been transfered down got their raids in. As of 1:00pm SLT, Cohors B transfers have not occoured yet. We've been low on PRFs for the past few weeks, so remember, B members, PRFs are a great way to get points to spend on super-coo' awesomo gear. Can always expect something even cooler to come out down the line, so it's best to get those points and save up! [18:05:33] Hollowmengitus Yifu: MISC.: Please raid. Seriously. Please raid. I'm looking reallll hard at you. [18:05:43] Hollowmengitus Yifu: That's all for Terra. [18:06:05] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:06:08] Aryte Vesperia: Next? [18:06:10] Radryl Allen raises his hand for Adstutia. [18:06:16] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Allen. Welcome back. [18:06:23] Radryl Allen: Thank you, Sir. [18:06:29] Radryl Allen: Good evening everyone, I am finally back! ( But still need to get my memory card completally fixed)the week was kind of slow for us, but here are the news, they are might not be that surpriseful though. -The Adsutita quest sistem is already up, it was divided on three levels. Easy- For the new members. Medium-Those who got some experince. Hard-For the veterans. The quests will be different for everyone, expect those who are related to Ordo/ Opinions/ Outside, because these will be shared by everyone. Also, Megiddo is almost open, they are finishing their buildings and we might have a meeting with them soon. [18:06:47] Radryl Allen: EB is raising from the graveyard once more, sadly without the General who was assisting us with the diplomacy at the group, now it is under full control of the xephonobic Leader, consequently it will be almost impossible to have any kind of deal with them, BUT we will do our best to make sure that they follow up the rules at least here. About their sim, it will be totally up to the Imperator to attack them once they open, but we might expect some kind of Chaos sim, because they will use laggy stuff, and do their usual "tricks". We may still need to have another meeting with CATI, sadly we received MORE complaints about allan here, so we will try to contact them as soon as possible for the good of the members of Ordo. As second note, we are not sure how long time it will take to CATI open yet, but most left it already and went to 2142 or came back to Megiddo. [18:07:07] Radryl Allen: As final note, I would reccomend some people to get portuguese classes( Merchandising I know) as we already did our research about how many portuguese speakers we get per week, and I can afirmate you it is a high number, and it may be complicated to shoot someone just because you are unnable to talk to him properly. Also if you are willing to join Adsutia here are the requirements, and we still looking for a ADJ! Be at least E-3. Be able to speak more than one language OR Be able to handle paperwork, write notes during the meetings and handle tough situations. ( We even got shot on the diplomacy missions wooo!) [18:07:32] Radryl Allen: That is all. [18:07:54] Xoza Tyron Raises hand for Project Neptune [18:08:29] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. :} [18:08:32] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Tyron. [18:08:51] Xoza Tyron: Project Neptune is our Ordo Wiki project we've been heading up. There's been a good amount of progress thanks to our dedicated staff and contributors over the last couple of months and would like to officially announce it. You can find more information in the Project Neptune Thread. http://forums.ordoim...oject-neptune/. Just like most websites the wiki is located at http://wiki.ordoimperialis.com. [18:09:35] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you kindly. [18:09:40] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports this evening? [18:10:20] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Moving on. [18:10:35] Aryte Vesperia: Munitorum? [18:10:36] Mark Karlfeldt: hgnhngh [18:10:55] Tsume Xiao: (Wrong Channel) [18:10:56] Mark Karlfeldt: Good morning, everypony. > Ferratus is finished, pending animations from me. Which I will do tonight. I hope. > Enforcer is pretty much done, pending tweaks like shield cooldown and new particle effects. > Jetbike's progress has slowed somewhat due to Xoza's ongoing education. > Haruspex is finished. Aryte should release it. Tonight. (After ponies) > Xoza/Achtai/Rykiana are getting ready to makeover Chronus this weekend. Woo. > Keller is Frank Pritchard. [18:11:25] Mark Karlfeldt: Uh, that's all. [18:11:39] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:12:15] Aryte Vesperia: > Enforcer [18:12:32] Aryte Vesperia: Earlier this week, the Enforcer entered its first “live” combat interaction. Squaring off against T’koi, the Enforcer and its crew managed an immensely successful operation—resulting in a flawless deployment: the Enforcer scored countless kills on enemy aircraft, ground vehicles, and fleet vessels. [18:13:37] Aryte Vesperia: The initial trial has demonstrated the impressive capability of our revitalized fleet, while providing us critical battlefield data to make adjustments. The final classification of the Enforcer has been determined as a corvette/gun cutter class—she will be our smallest vessel, with each named after a member (past or present) of the Ordo. [18:15:06] Aryte Vesperia: The final load out of the vessel will feature both a top and lower turret, each with multiple ammunition types: flak, HE, and standard AP. The primary firepower will be the Enforcer’s torpedo’s; a sizeable, high yield explosive with the capability to demolish armored targets. Defensively, the vessel has the capability to sport multiple levels of armor to fit the task at hand. Furthermore, it is able to deploy into a immobile shield to provide additional staying power or to permit on-board engineers to make hasty repairs. [18:16:39] Aryte Vesperia: After reviewing and partaking within combat aboard an Enforcer, I can say with certainty we will definitely pursue additional fleet development. Notably, we will definitely look at larger grades of vessels: destroyers / cruiser levels, with interiors and more space for personnel. [18:17:24] Aryte Vesperia: A big thank you to everyone involved in the Enforcer’s development. It is really shaping up to be an integral part of the Ordo’s armory of the future. It adds a lot of bite to our forces and dramatically multiplies our ability to bring down hurt on any target. [18:18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Next up: [18:18:43] Aryte Vesperia: > Exploring the Future of the CDF [18:19:23] Aryte Vesperia: As part of our ongoing revisions, I would like to take some time to discuss potential modifications s to the CDF. At this point, these are in no way in stone: we are simply brainstorming and sharing the general vision that may possibly follow. Feedback and input is certainly encouraged, especially from those with prior CDF experience. [18:20:49] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost, it is important we take some time to examine “what” the CDF is at current. We currently use the CDF in two roles: first, to give would-be applicants or visitors a chance to experience combat. Secondly, we utilize it to screen individuals who have applied, but we have questions on. For all intents and purposes, the CDF is sort of our “planetary defense/auxiliary" or irregular troops. [18:22:02] Aryte Vesperia: Curia has, for the most part, fallen in love with the idea of using the CDF for the screening purposes. As such, we are going forward with making some substantive changes to the CDF to be tailored more in a structured fashion, meanwhile maintaining the ability to house individuals who haven’t applied, but are curious what SLMC entails. [18:23:51] Aryte Vesperia: The initial plan is to provide some depth to the structure in CDF and likely modify its name. By “depth,” we specifically mean creating more to the CDF other than “you are CDF.” Off the top of my head, it is probable that we could see at least three designations: Auxiliary, Penitent, and .. some sort of supervisory position (Exalted? Aspirant?). [18:24:58] Aryte Vesperia: Auxiliary would be the primary role; Auxiliary (Auxilia?) would be equivalent to current CDF. Standard individuals-- mostly folks who are in review or trying out combat with intent to possibly enroll in the Ordo at a later date. [18:26:06] Aryte Vesperia: Penitent personnel would constitute individuals on a trial basis, as assigned by Curia. Penitents would primarily be those who are former Ordo or those who previously left other groups on less than acceptable terms. These individuals would be under heavy scrutiny, observed, and rated under specific metrics for any graduation beyond CDF. [18:27:19] Aryte Vesperia: Lastly, the “Exalted/whatever” or supervisory role would be either held by Ordo NCOs or individuals with a significant tenure in CDF. These individuals would provide observation, guidance, and administer any training programs developed for the CDF. [18:28:12] Aryte Vesperia: On that note, let’s talk training: [18:28:48] Aryte Vesperia: It is rather probable we will incorporate some brief education elements to CDF—potentially heavier elements for Penitent personnel. The intent here would simply to give basic rule expectations to remove the potential for arms error or gross infractions by CDF. [18:29:30] Aryte Vesperia: Penitent personnel, on the other hand, would have a series of .. rehabilitative courses to help them adjust / build a more acceptable application resume for the Ordo. [18:30:31] Aryte Vesperia: Movin' on. [18:30:31] Aryte Vesperia: >> Tribinus Assignments [18:30:37] Aryte Vesperia: Tribunus, rather. [18:31:17] Aryte Vesperia: As a reminder, the Tribunus revolving assignments are in place and in effect as of 01DEC11: http://forums.ordoim...nments-27nov11/ [18:31:31] Aryte Vesperia: A big shout out to those following it already-- Hollowmengitus, for example. [18:31:53] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, please review (if you're an officer) and ensure you know what days you are responsible for. [18:32:02] Hollowmengitus Yifu: c: [18:32:13] Aryte Vesperia: Enlistees: looking for raids? That list shows you everyone responsible to lead and originate them. Hunt 'em down and make them approve or lead one. :} [18:33:28] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, I'd encourage anyone curious about chain of command to give the list a look. It paints a fairly clear picture of who reports to who. [18:34:12] Aryte Vesperia: Movin' on: [18:34:47] Aryte Vesperia: > Keynote: Defense Operations with Light Numbers [18:35:14] Aryte Vesperia: Last week we discussed large scale defense manuevers. So, we'll talk about the flip side this week. [18:36:04] Aryte Vesperia: If you recall, last week we emphasized the importance of using sectors, fireteams, and distriubtion of forces. That still applies, regardless of the number of personnel involved or the scenario. Always, always rely upon using fire teams, grouping up into battle buddy pairs, and operate in sectors. [18:36:28] Aryte Vesperia: Beyond that, however, let's talk a bit about OIC decision making in scenarios where Titan's defense numbers are low. [18:37:23] Aryte Vesperia: We run in to these issues early morning, or sometimes while raids are out. Those of you in the Euro timezone totally know the pain of being swamped by randoms or a group trying to catch us unaware. [18:38:12] Aryte Vesperia: I have major respect for those of you who hold the line at those hours. You provide the Ordo the competitive edge, even at 4 AM. [18:38:46] Aryte Vesperia: Nevertheless, when we enter into a scenario in which defense is spread thin: think tactically. I am speaking from the perspective of the OIC, I do note-- don't randomly do things on your own accord without OIC approval. [18:39:18] Aryte Vesperia: The most common attack we receive when numbers are low are those comprised of lone wolfs. [18:39:51] Aryte Vesperia: During these sort of attacks, it is uncommon that there's any real cohesion between the attackers-- as such, simply exercising battle buddy tactics and covering sectors tends to be enough to ward off their assault. [18:40:17] Aryte Vesperia: On the rare occassion, however, we receive attacks from loosely coordinate/coordinated groups-- XAF, for example. [18:41:45] Aryte Vesperia: Let's say, for example, you are the OIC and have five defenders present. A mixed force hits Titan with a good ten attackers. Immediately, it should be clear that it would be rather challenging to hold all points for the duration of the battle. As a general rule of thumb, if overwhelmed: abandon a point. It is preferable to abandon the NE, as the SW/Center are close together and relatively easy to defend next to one another. [18:42:02] Aryte Vesperia: During this time: call for reinforcements. Hold 2 out of 3 points. [18:42:13] Aryte Vesperia: Once reinforcements arrive, reclaim the NE point. [18:42:58] Aryte Vesperia: Regardless of numbers, if we concentrate our force--think of ART--it is much easier to achieve success. Ergo, letting the enemy go waste their time in the NE while ensuring the other two points are kept on lock is an appropriate decision. [18:43:30] Aryte Vesperia: Most enemies will throw a party if they take a point-- additionally, they are rather likely to board up and stay /in/ the point. [18:43:56] Aryte Vesperia: It will provide you, as an OIC, vital time to organize a more effective defense and muster forces. [18:45:22] Aryte Vesperia: Our team combat talents are second to none. Use it to your advantage. One battle buddy pair can easily maintain a strong perimeter, no matter the amount of attackers. [18:45:52] Aryte Vesperia: Any questions? [18:47:31] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent. Then thank you all for coming this evening. I will be stepping out after we conclude to grab some dinner. I'll be back in an hour or so. Promotions will be up tomorrow. I appreciate all your efforts: thank you for a good week. A lot of success to celebrate. Go raid and pillage. [18:47:34] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed. [18:47:34] Aryte Vesperia snaps his fist to his chest, presenting a brief salute. [18:47:38] Liam Macalroy stands at attention and salutes "Ehre und Ruhm im Namen des Imperator!" [18:47:39] Afevis Sodertelge salutes. [18:47:39] Reinhardt Stenvaag salutes, barking out proudly "I march for Titan. AND I SHALL KNOW NO FEAR!!!"

Operations remain calm; activity solid on all fronts. Raid numbers a tad under the three a day goal, but not terrible—considering the holiday. Activity with the Merczateers will be covered in primary discussions. On a side note, beware of hormonal teenagers attempting to troll; New Rome’s three members are skulking around trying to be ominous. Just ignore them. [18:01:55] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:02:18] Ethan Schuman raises his hand for Astra. [18:02:25] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Schuman? [18:02:40] Ethan Schuman: Let me rez something here real quick... [18:03:19] Ethan Schuman: Another quiet week for Astra. Activity dipped a notable amount, but it's kind of hard to fly when you're stuffing your face with turkey, so that's not a bad sign or anything. Skyrim has also eaten into our activity level, though not nearly as much as I had originally feared. I expect us to be back up to our normal activity levels soon enough, especially when our new toys start coming out. I have good news for those of you paying attention to our selection of ships. Tsume and I have teamed up to work on the Enforcer, with myself handling the flight characteristics and overall design specifications, with Tsume handling the armor and weapon systems. I'm pleased to report that the Enforcer's flight engine and armor are finished (suck that Aryte :P), and Tsume and I will be working on the weapon systems, with Xoza providing special effects to make it look all cool and stuff. Also, speaking of cool looking stuff, after years of trying to get a PROPER new frame for our standard fighter (the Predator was a temporary [18:03:33] Ethan Schuman: thing thrown together in five minutes), Xoza and Nikki have finished the build for Project Phantom. I'll rez it out above us. It will be replacing the Predator upon its completion, and will have both standard flight modes featured in the Predator with optimizations, as well as an attachment mode like the Nemesis, which will be its primary flight mode. Check out the cockpit inside. [18:03:47] Ethan Schuman: That's all from Astra this week. [18:04:29] Huttser Ishelwood raises hand for Terra [18:04:33] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Excellent model. [18:05:02] Mark Karlfeldt: > Haruspex Pistol: Preeeeeetty much done, except for a few things like sounds, which will be done soon. But they're very much in working order! On Aryte's request, they have been given a few tweaks, and a new unlock: the "doubletap" mode, which fires a round both when pressing the LMB, and another when releasing it. > Enforcer Fleetship: Ethan has finished the flight-core for it, and Tsume is now doing the other stuff including weapons. It's turning out pretty good so far. One of the things Tsume has done today is added the fortify mode, which projects a shield around the ship which locks it in place whilst absorbing damage. > Eagle Pauldron: Has been started on by Disembodied. Not much else to say. > Marcus: Received a robe on his request for his "contributions" towards the creation of a solid foundation of IRL trolling. [18:06:24] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, haha. NexT? I know its still close to Thanksgiving holiday or those few popular game releases and I hope everyone had a good one. But more classes being picked up soon will be appreciated as things still seem a bit slower than normal throughout IEA in class activity. [18:06:46] Eriksson Foxtrot raises hand fur teh Cohors A. [18:06:55] Drasamax Python: The gaps in the activity logs seems to be fixed for now but if I missed anyone who is IEA Staff that still needs the forum permissions to view the appropriate IEA forum sections please let me know so I can get it sorted out. [18:07:10] Drasamax Python: Also for clarfication since I've been getting asked this by multiple Magisters. The new Schola materials are still preview purposes only. We will announce when we are ready to shift gear into the new materials for Schola. So for now keep using the material you've always had. As a note though after this meeting is over the new materials may start being put into place. [18:07:24] Drasamax Python: How does one become a Schola/Armatura Magister? ----> http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/13701-iea-scholaarmatura-recruitment-application/ That is all from the Imperial Education Administration. [18:07:54] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Mr. Oh? [18:08:03] DaveyDarkStrider Oh: Quite a slow week for Tactica this week, but none the less stuff is still getting done, a new report has been put up for Silver Hawks and 2142 with updates on their new sim builds. [18:08:13] DaveyDarkStrider Oh: Also, from what we've discovered, Kampfzone, home to Rodinia and Sturmkorps has been closed down and as far as we can tell Rodinia has taken refuge in Veyla Prime, no idea what's happened to SK but we can gather that they've disbanded as a result of losing the sim. [18:08:25] DaveyDarkStrider Oh: Finally, Tactica is still looking for people to sign up for the group, if you're interested you can either send Me or Tala Spingflower a notecard stating the reason for wanting to join Tactica , or alternatively you can put up a post on the forums, though a notecard will be faster. [18:08:38] DaveyDarkStrider Oh: That concludes the meeting report for Tactica. [18:09:22] Aryte Vesperia: Great, thank you. Mr. Ishelwood? [18:09:42] Huttser Ishelwood: From Invictus: A decent week for Invictus. Even with the holiday in the middle of the week we were fairly active. Also we recruited a new member in the squad, Vain Composer! Other than that not much has happened within the squad other than raids being done [18:10:11] Huttser Ishelwood: From Evalidus: I'm pleased to announce activity managed to pick up, other then that, slots still open contact Huttser Ishelwood or Awanken Wasp for details. Now to complete the report have some free Lady GaGa: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrY39ooSKBY [18:11:19] Huttser Ishelwood: From Insidiae: Solid week for Insidiae, most of our members have been corss training either with Curia efforts or Astra. Mackenzie is the new XO of Insidiae and is now working with Ron to step up recruiting efforts, be sure to see her if you are interested in joining. [18:11:59] Huttser Ishelwood: From Cohors B: Few stuff on Cohors B for tonight. First off, congratulations to Yoki Mistwalker for recieving the XO position in B-II, Rapax. Already Yoki has planned a meeting for Rapax and seems to be getting in place! (Hi Yoki :D) Assloads of transfers have been moved from B-I to B-II, excuse the French, and transfers have also been moved from B-II to Cohors C. Quick reminder: if you'd like to stay in B-I, be sure to get that one raid a week in! Cohors B will have a staff meeting Tuesday November 29 as well. Looking forward to another week of getting shit done. Keep up the good work. [18:12:24] Huttser Ishelwood: That concludes the Terra report unless Mr Foxtrot has any reports to add. [18:13:05] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Anything to add, Mr. Ishelwood? [18:13:23] Aryte Vesperia: Er. Foxtrot. [18:13:40] Eriksson Foxtrot: I've got an additional, yes. Though first, just a general reminder: Please keep in mind that Cohors A reports are due on Friday at 11:55PM at the very latest. Thank you. I've got one report to add from Saevitas. [18:14:17] Eriksson Foxtrot: For Saevitas, we have: "Slow week for A-5, with most of our members gone for thanksgiving the raid count was rather low. However, with plenty of joint combat actions planned for this following week, raid count should improve steadily!" [18:14:41] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Mr. Millar? [18:14:51] Tonet Millar: Radryl sent me the following note, he still has problems with the computer: [18:14:58] Tonet Millar: Greetings everyone, once more I might not be around on the meeting or maybe I do, I am not really sure, like I said on the last meeting, I am having problems with my videocard, but it is almost fixed now, so for now I still using some random PC just to write the report and see how things are going, ANYWAY here are the news. [18:15:08] Tonet Millar: As most of you might know, the EB is dead now, consequently some of the members who were on it began to spread out once more, as a consequence of EB dying, Megiddo is raising again under Shark Paolino's power again, buut for now it is under construction, so Tactica, keep your eyes open! [18:15:18] Tonet Millar: Alsooo 2142 may be getting reinforcement as some of the EB's members are being pulled by some brazilian members into it, yes it is related to diplomacy, looks like EB lost its structure when their main general left, and they began to make conflicts inside of it, on other words, intenal issues,. [18:15:30] Tonet Millar: As second note, the Cascavel Operation is over, yes, some of you may be mad about it, I am also disappointed. Looks like they gave up of founding anew group, even being aware of how hard we were working on it. Those who participated of the operation will still be rewarded, and I will see if I can do something unique for them. Congratulation guys, well done, I loved the teamwork and see so many people decided to assist. [18:15:41] Tonet Millar: Also if you are willing to join Adstutia let me know, and for those who joined, we will begin some activities as soon as I get my pc back, I will be passing some material to you guys work with. [18:15:51] Tonet Millar: Anyway here are the basic requirements: -Be at least a E-3 -Be able to speak more than one language OR: -Be able to handle paperwork and tough situations. That is all from Adstutia. [18:16:21] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you kindly. Any final reports this evening? [18:16:53] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Moving right along, then. [18:17:05] Tsume Xiao: calc 2011-1930 [18:17:08] Tsume Xiao: ... [18:17:08] Aryte Vesperia: > Tribunus Assignments [18:18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Per our ongoing revisions, the public list of Tribunus assignments has been published. You may find it under the policy section. Specifically, here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/15588-ordo-tribunus-assignments-24nov11 [18:18:58] Aryte Vesperia: Within the list, you can find each officer, their direct reports, areas of assignments, their raid contribution expectations, and the span of dates that they will be expected to tow the line for defense command. [18:19:50] Aryte Vesperia: I do want to clarify the latter element of that list; I have set up a revolving pool for officers, each sharing a chunk of the month as "primary defense coordinators." This does not mean one of them will be OIC at every given moment, but it provides a guideline on to when they should focus on it. [18:20:30] Aryte Vesperia: The intent here is to share the burden equally across the officer corps, chopping it up into manageable bits, rather than simply expecting everyone to take it at any time. [18:20:40] Aryte Vesperia: The additional clarity should assist in officer coverage of OIC positions. [18:21:35] Aryte Vesperia: Please be sure to reference the list should you have questions of chain of command, assignment areas, or to simply find an officer responsible for a specific division. [18:21:46] Aryte Vesperia: It will be updated regularly to reflect any changes. [18:21:58] Aryte Vesperia: The "raid" and "OIC" expectations will take effect 01DEC11. [18:23:03] Aryte Vesperia: I do want to stress this does not replace NCO initiated raids or defense command. Simply, it provides an outline of expectations for officers to follow-- a time management tool for folks with a lot of investment in other duties. [18:23:36] Aryte Vesperia: Furthermore, it differentiates between administrative and combat officers. As such, you, as a member, can easily reference, find, and contact someone if looking for answers or to pursue a raid. [18:23:43] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:24:28] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Moving on. [18:24:37] Aryte Vesperia: > Merczateer Combat [18:25:32] Aryte Vesperia: The question is floating around: what happened to the combat with Mercz? Well, nothing . . in several ways. There is not a particular reason why we haven't engaged one another much this week; the Mercz command and I haven't even discussed it. [18:26:19] Aryte Vesperia: My only assumption is there's some intent to take some time off from interacting after the series of high profile battles. I can understand that, based upon the intensity presented in all three of our combat missions against the Mercz thus far. [18:27:22] Aryte Vesperia: I do want to stress, however, the probability is quite high that combat will flair back up-- whether or not Ordo will be the first to strike is not yet seen. Merczateers are specifically an officer level target, ergo, officers may engage them. I would request officers speak to me prior to receive coaching on the Mercz region and objectives, but it is not mandatory. [18:28:55] Aryte Vesperia: Whatever the case may be, the Mercz remain a definite force to interact with. I do underline that, regardless of battle, they remain our allies and political friends-- our combat is not a "traditional war." It is friendly in nature. A testament to the capability of both group to act as comrades, and yet meet on open fields. [18:30:18] Aryte Vesperia: I do encourage Ordo members to visit and interact with Mercz; it is important, both for our political and combat relations, to keep a friendly impression with them. As we all know, combat, no matter how friendly it is intended, does develop some sense of competition. We certainly want to provide the image of having fun in this interaction with the Mercz and continue to encourage it. [18:31:27] Aryte Vesperia: The eyes of a many groups are upon us during this time. We've already seen this via the Grid At War and the numerous spectators in our region. There is a degree of hope from those outside of the Ordo that this will devolve into a "traditional war." I doubt that will ever be the case, but be guarded and ensure that such an impression is never provided. [18:31:34] Aryte Vesperia: Any questions? [18:32:23] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Moving on then. [18:32:27] Aryte Vesperia: > Raid Activities [18:32:51] Aryte Vesperia: Spiraling from the topic of Tribunus assignments, I do want to take some time to talk shop on raids and finding space on a raid. [18:33:38] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost, although I continue to endeavor to push toward more pre-planned and scheduled raids, the majority of our interactions will and always will be unscheduled, random events. [18:34:35] Aryte Vesperia: There are, however, many ways for any member to get their raid numbers up and participate in combat deployments. First off, consider the dynamics of "who" originates raids: [18:35:14] Aryte Vesperia: Officers, senior NCOs, and elite units. [18:36:18] Aryte Vesperia: As is, a good portion of our raids are originated at the senior NCO level-- for example, our E-8's: Ookamiwulf Lemton being a major contributor. [18:37:05] Aryte Vesperia: I would consider the E-8's to primarily focus on randomization of raids. However, you can certainly approach one and request raids. Their primary goal /is/ to raid and ensure deployments. Their positions are designed solely for that function. [18:38:28] Aryte Vesperia: Officers, on the other hand, focus more on the "demand" of raids. In other words, they are a great source to contact and go "raid please." With their new, defined raids expectations, each officer is going to be looking to either originate or lead one raid, per week. [18:39:07] Aryte Vesperia: Origination of a raid, at officer level, can be as simple as an officer issuing an NCO to lead it. [18:39:54] Aryte Vesperia: Officers will, more than likely, increase the volume of randomized raids as part of the defined expectations. Nevertheless, don't be afraid to flip open the Tribunus list and find officers designated as "combat." [18:41:37] Aryte Vesperia: A rather untapped area is the "elite unit" area. Specifically, each elite unit has the expectation of /two raids/ per member. So if there's ten members of an elite squad, they need to have a net total of twenty raids a week. That doesn't mean twenty original raids, but enough raids that each member has the ability to participate at least two times. [18:42:28] Aryte Vesperia: That means there's a lot of opportunity for a general member--elite squad or not--to contact elite unit commanders and get involved. [18:42:48] Aryte Vesperia: Additionally, it'd be a great opportunity to sit in and participate with a unit that may be recruiting. [18:43:27] Aryte Vesperia: Any questions? [18:45:20] Aryte Vesperia: All right then. [18:46:07] Aryte Vesperia: I am not doing a traditional keynote this evening. In its place, I am going to open the floor and provide everyone present the opportunity to ask questions, comment, or bring up topics of their own. If no one wishes to, that's fine too. But. :} This is your chance to talk. Hands? [18:46:32] Liam Macalroy raises his hand. [18:46:40] Aryte Vesperia: Macalroy? [18:46:42] DaveyDarkStrider Oh raises hand [18:47:59] Liam Macalroy: Would it be possible to initiate a review of some targets on the tactica board, to get at least one or two more NCO targets? Seeing as everytime the past three weeks we've tried to initate one, they've been deathly empty. Granted, I realize it's because of the release of games like SKYRIM and MW3, buuuut.. [18:48:16] Liam Macalroy: And Thanksgiving, but it'd be rather nice to not have to get an officer or Ookami to observe every time. [18:48:20] Disembodied Hand wiggles fingers. [18:48:22] Liam Macalroy: -Every- time. [18:48:47] Aryte Vesperia: Frankly, every target could be "officer" target and it'd make no difference. It is not necessary to have an officer present. They can approve the raid. If they choose not to sit in, it is their ass, not yours. [18:49:10] Aryte Vesperia: You are expected to reference the officer in the event of difficulty and ask for their help. That's about it. [18:49:34] Aryte Vesperia: Nevertheless, Tactica would be happy to review them. That's what they do. [18:49:42] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Oh? [18:49:45] Maverick Garfield raises his hand [18:50:03] DaveyDarkStrider Oh: Just a general question about QP rewards, mostly personal curiosity [18:50:57] DaveyDarkStrider Oh: I'm sure a few people have probably wondered this as well, but there's been gear i've unlocked via QP reward points, but as soon as I've recieved it, it's never been used and as such, gathered dust in my inventory. Is there any way/chance/method to potentially exchange a reward for something else? [18:51:14] Aryte Vesperia: Not at this time. [18:51:21] Aryte Vesperia: As it would be a gigantic headache for me and anyone involved. [18:51:38] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Hand? [18:52:21] Disembodied Hand: err [18:52:22] Disembodied Hand: that. [18:53:05] Aryte Vesperia: That is a definite possibility. [18:53:11] fatalitywolf Firehawk raises hand [18:53:14] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Firehawk? [18:53:32] fatalitywolf Firehawk: when we gonna hear anything more about the ordo CDF [18:53:40] DaveyDarkStrider Oh raises hand [18:53:55] fatalitywolf Firehawk: as its a great intrest of mine [18:54:01] fatalitywolf Firehawk: am curious [18:54:21] Aryte Vesperia: When time permits. It is on the list for revisions, as such, it will be worked on. [18:54:26] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Oh? [18:54:53] DaveyDarkStrider Oh: I believe I read somewhere about rewards for people who actively seek out to become OIC for the sim. If this is true what kind of rewards can we expect from this? [18:55:52] Aryte Vesperia: This is correct. We will be pursuing this. You can expect vanity items that compliment your attire, more than likely. Additional "functional" items are possible, but not yet planned. [18:56:04] Ookamiwulf Lemton: draw [18:56:29] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions? :) [18:56:41] Maverick Garfield: raises hand again [18:56:53] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Garfield. [18:57:03] Maverick Garfield: Thats Applejack to you... [18:57:19] Mark Karlfeldt: That makes three new bronies this week. [18:57:41] Maverick Garfield: any way I was wondering how come defenses are held as high as raids? [18:57:56] Maverick Garfield: or more so why don't we have a requirement on them like we do raids [18:58:40] Aryte Vesperia: Defense volume is immensely higher than offense volume. [18:58:50] Aryte Vesperia: Defense is compulsory; if you are here, you must participate. [18:58:55] Aryte Vesperia: We can't force you to raid.\ [18:59:49] Aryte Vesperia: (You do receive points from PRFs for defense participation, and defense participation is taken in to account when judging if you are active for an A unit.) [18:59:51] Aryte Vesperia: Time for one more question. [19:00:17] Liam Macalroy raises his paw. [19:00:38] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Macalroy? [19:00:51] Liam Macalroy: TRADITIONAL POST-MEETING RAID LED BY ARYTE? 8D [19:01:17] Aryte Vesperia: Based upon my time constraints, this is unlikely. [19:02:01] Aryte Vesperia: Well. Thank you all for coming. It was a pleasure, as always. Promotions will be up tomorrow. I am going to hop off to do some stuff, but I'll be back in an hour. [19:02:05] Aryte Vesperia: Go conquer. [19:02:12] Aryte Vesperia: Thanks for a good weed. [19:02:13] Aryte Vesperia: Week. [19:02:17] DaveyDarkStrider Oh: :D [19:02:18] Aryte Vesperia: A good weed. Lol. [18:00:27] Aryte Vesperia: Statistics Members: 313 Cadets: 6 Applications New: 11 Accepted: 1 Denied: 5 Review: 5 Combat Defensive: 98 Offensive: 19 Allied Assist: 1 [18:01:04] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic report this evening: alliance reformed with 39th; conducted a couple defensive runs on Monroe. Good interacts overall with 39th. Generally a rather pleasant group with the spirit to group; we are looking forward to additional opportunities to interact and cooperate with them. We are continuing combat with 39th when time permits, so they are still an available target. Otherwise, no real changes outside of combat with the Mercz—which will be covered as a main topic. [18:02:04] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:02:09] Huttser Ishelwood raises his hand for Terra. [18:03:01] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Ishelwood. [18:03:05] Huttser Ishelwood: > A-I, Invictus: During the course of last week many heretics were purged, cities burned, fear embedded into our enemies for the pure righteous ways of our glorious Imperator! No one shall be spared for those who go against our ways and those who speak of things that tarnish our perfect ways. Those who fight for the Ordo Imperialis the spoils of war will be far beyond your imagination. Invictus but a single squad will continue to cleanse the grid and spread the influences of what true perfection looks like for those who fight with honor in the heat of battle and with faith that the comrades will fight alongside them till death. [18:03:18] Huttser Ishelwood: > A-II, Evalidus: Activity low for this week. Squad members be sure to check recent notices, there is one in there that applies to us all. Other then that we have several slots open, contact Huttser Ishelwood or Awanken Wasp if you think long range fire support is for you. [18:03:44] Huttser Ishelwood: > A-III, Insidiae: Insidiae burnt villages, killed dragons and killed the Emperor of Man in Skyrim this week. Activity on the rise with appointment of new CO. Recruitment opening up shortly, contact Ron or Mackenzie for details. P.S Dickbutt. [18:04:02] Huttser Ishelwood: > A-IV, Praescius: Slow week, nothing else to report. If you want to join, contact Afevis Sodertelge. [18:04:22] Huttser Ishelwood: > A-V, Saevitas: This has been a pretty good week for A-5. The amount of raids held continues to increase as people begin to return from the WOooooorld of skyrim. Next week is shaping up to be a fine week for crusading with our members returning! On another note I'd like to thank Robwolf Dragovar and Temian Nightfire for stepping forward to assume the positions of Adjutant and Flag bearer within Saevitas, respectively. [18:04:36] Huttser Ishelwood: COHORS B: > Thatguy: is gay. Marcus is on an LOA to visit family and Tsu is also on a LOA due to Skyrim. :c [18:04:57] Huttser Ishelwood: MISC.: Skyrim is bad (read: good) for your health if played too much, guys. [18:05:08] Huttser Ishelwood: This completes the Terra report. [18:05:27] Aryte Vesperia: Good to see A-5 on the rise. Thanks. [18:05:31] Aryte Vesperia: Next? [18:05:40] Ethan Schuman raises his hand for Astra. [18:06:08] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Schuman. [18:06:14] Ethan Schuman: I don't have quite as much to share with you all this week because of the amount of people that weren't able to make the staff meeting today, but there are still a few things of note. Firstly, the issue preventing delivery of 39th fighter was resolved. Aside from a small build issue that 39th will correct themselves, their fighter has been approved and signed off on by Nohime. 39th will be invited to send pilots to the second half of this week's flight nights so they can get a feel for things. Sebris has already made final adjustments for the modified Palaestra course we'll be offering them, so we're just waiting on their pilots to start trickling in. Personnel wise, Astra has picked up a few, and lost a few. Honey Hoffman and Confuze (I forget his last name. Sorry. :( ) transfered to Terra due to issues with motion sickness. However, we picked up Vinnie Lei, who's now a member of Reapers. Welcome aboard. [18:06:30] Ethan Schuman: I'm going to take a quick moment now to touch on a subject that I've been waiting years, literally, to talk about. As everyone knows, we're now engaged in hostile operations with the Merczateers. While the Merczateers themselves will admit that their air forces aren't quite as strong as they'd probably like to be, the strength of ours will provide them with the motivation they need to improve, and they have the technology development power to produce new aircraft very quickly. They've already employed air power, limited as it may be, against us offensively. That means we need to be on our toes at all times. Because of this, training exercises and other activity will be increasing in frequency. Besides, you all know you want to carpet bomb some communis... err, PMC people from the magical land of wherever the fuck they're from. =D [18:06:51] Ethan Schuman: That's all from Astra this week. [18:07:55] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. :} [18:07:56] Aryte Vesperia: Next? [18:08:02] Drasamax Python raises hand for the IEA. [18:08:07] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Python. [18:08:09] Tonet Millar: raises his hand for Adstuti [18:08:12] Drasamax Python: From myself for The Imperial Education Administration: A couple of Schola classes, an Armatura class, and no Ludi classes this week. Due to some setbacks with getting proper forum permissions set on time. There is likley a lot more Schola and Armatura classes held than what was listed in our activity logs (I recall seeing/observing a few that were never posted). I'm currently working on sorting this out. If you know who you are and your reading this be sure to visit the activity log and post the classes you held when you didn't have forum permissions to view the log to fix any gaps in our activity. If you have any questions please throw an IM my way, Zero Itamae's way, or your appropiate IEA branch Director's way. Whatever floats your boat. Oh and we're likley going to have to go get a new Schola Director soon as our current one kinda vanished o.O [18:08:26] Drasamax Python: The IEA is finally getting one of its planned items made, the IEA Tome which can be found here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/15553-conceptual-iea-tome/ Be sure to post any input you may have especially if your a Magister(item falls under IEA so would be wise) as it is still conceptual and we want our Magisters to be happy. [18:08:46] Drasamax Python: Also the shiny new Schola walkthrough is currently all out on paper for preview purposes only as of now. If your a Magister and still have yet to look at it, it can be found here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/15555-schola-instructor-walkthrough/ That is all from the Imperial Education Administration. [18:09:39] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Mr. Millar? [18:09:51] Tonet Millar: Radryl have problems with video card and sent me a note for the meeting: [18:10:04] Tonet Millar: Greetings everyone! First of all I would like to apologize for not being here today, looks like my videocard is heading to the grave right now after long seven or eight years, so I cannot log in without making my PC explode. [18:10:22] Tonet Millar: Anyway! Time to move to the report part my friends, as most of you already know, the target of the Operation Rattlesnake changed once Sonja the main owner of the group began to act as an ass again. [18:10:40] Tonet Millar: As also mentioned there, the only General who left the group and was working on the Project with me will be building up a new group, but for now he is on Titan legion, at this point you probably already saw him and he also applied to Ordo! As a reminder, if you are a unawared NCO, we are not attacking EB anymore to prevent problems since Melina will join it again soon. Yes, they are that silly to make EB sink again denying our help and bringing her back. [18:11:01] Tonet Millar: Aaand if they try to attack us, you can tell them to back off as their owner made fun of Ordo, annoyed us since the first day of the operation, and they MAY bring an alt of Melina to Titan, so it may be up to OIC allow them to attack. And it will be up to the Imperator simply tell them to avoid attacking us because of that, as I was not able to talk to him about it yet it is not up yet. [18:11:21] Tonet Millar: Thank you for those who are helping us on the new target of the Operation Rattlesnake, I am looking foward for the results, and surprised to see so many people willing to help. You guys rock. The rest of the material will be given as soon as possible. As a extra info to make you guys laugh, the "young Melina" is a 39 years old man who is in trouble at RL because some cops found his IP and looks like that he is doing something dumb. Also please once more I ask you AVOID RAIDING EB, seriously. [18:11:41] Tonet Millar: Also for those who are willing to join Adstutia, here are the requirements: Be at least a E-3 Be able to speak more than one language or: Be able to handle paperwork and write informations that will be given during the meetings that we have with the other organizations. [18:11:56] Tonet Millar: Come join us, we still looking for members, and the room for a ADJ still open! You can get a wood branch to poke your friends if you join it as well. [18:12:06] Tonet Millar: As my last note I will put a poem. Roses are red, Margaridas are yellow, I do not care about them and I kill frontflipping hostiles with a grey mace. [18:12:17] Tonet Millar: That is all. [18:13:43] Aryte Vesperia: Thank. For future reference, please do not make commentary regarding other military members of such a quality. That is not the place of your unit. [18:13:48] Aryte Vesperia: Additional reports? [18:13:52] Mark Karlfeldt: Meeeee~ [18:15:04] Mark Karlfeldt raises hand? [18:15:07] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Karlfeldt. [18:15:21] Mark Karlfeldt: Munitorum: Things are going 'kay. Disembodied finished the new Haruspex pistol in record time. I'm rezzing it on the ground now. [18:15:52] Mark Karlfeldt: Not to actual scale. [18:16:26] Mark Karlfeldt: ...and it just broke physics. [18:16:40] Mark Karlfeldt: Anyway [18:16:42] Mark Karlfeldt: Xoza is currently on a little break for IRL stuff, but he's still working on the jetbike. What a little trooper. For those who don't know, it'll be our racer bike thingy armed with dual cannons and a nasty attitude. It'll use raycasting black magic to stay at a constant distance above the ground. Theeeen the Ferratus, and Keller's Judico rifle/Perseco SMG, all of which I'll be animating and doing sounds for. Nikki is going to revise the vendor next week. Finally, I'm going to look at mocking up plans for a 2.0 (more like 6.0) simbuild, which Nikki, Disembodied and I will work on... somehow. The details haven't been decided. That's about it. [18:18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Final call for unit reports. [18:19:37] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent. Moving on. [18:19:59] Aryte Vesperia: > Re: The Haruspex [18:20:49] Aryte Vesperia: The Haruspex is a bit of a change for us—energy based weapon, with the intent to have a bit more bite over our Five-SeveN. Although it will be a single wield weapon, we are looking to ensure it keeps a degree of volatility and earns a strong place among our general issued gear. [18:21:36] Aryte Vesperia: There is no particular deadline as to when the weapon will be available for unlock, however I am looking to fit in to the schedule as soon as possible. For those of you who are fans of the Five-SeveN, you are welcome to continue using them after the Haruspex enters service. Additionally, the Five-SeveN will likely be moved to Titan as part of our surplus line for commercial availability. [18:23:10] Aryte Vesperia: A big thank you to Mr. Hand and everyone who helped with reference material—the Haruspex was put together rather quickly. A testament to Munitorum, I must say. [18:23:49] Aryte Vesperia: > Winter Revisions Underway [18:24:10] Aryte Vesperia: As mentioned over the last couple of weeks, the Winter Revision project is in full swing. You can find a full list of projects and keep track of any updates at this link: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/15535-winter-revisions-project-list/ [18:25:13] Aryte Vesperia: I will endeavor to keep you all up to date by adding notes to that thread as we go along. But I am happy to note, we have already finished Schola revisions and the Tribunus assignment listings. As for Schola; Mr. Itamae is adding additional exam materials and then rolling it out. [18:26:27] Aryte Vesperia: There is quite a lot on the list left to get to, but I am pretty determined to see the majority, if not everything squared away as of December 31st. The next two major items on the list that are in immediate reach of work are the revisions to our reward programs and implementation of archetypes. [18:27:19] Aryte Vesperia: I know there is a lot of interest in the latter—specifically how to get to be a commissar, haha. I am not even certain that “commissar” will end up in the final product, but full details will be released before implementation. It will likely come after the reward modifications, as it sort of fits in to that whole scheme of things. [18:29:03] Aryte Vesperia: > Combat with Merczateers [18:29:30] Aryte Vesperia: Combat with the Merczateers, as most of you are aware, has gone live as of this week. Interactions with them have been outstanding—thus far, two large scale defenses in Titan. In each occasion, Titan held and we repulsed the attacks. However, it must be noted on both occasions the Mercz did put up a good fight and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. [18:30:05] Aryte Vesperia: We will be hitting back (as I understand) this evening—so don’t run too far after the meeting. [18:31:16] Aryte Vesperia: Nevertheless, I do want to underline the importance of vigilance as we go forward. It is likely Mercz will ramp up their attacks and attempt to secure our objectives. We will do everything we can to hold ‘em; I am certain of everyone’s ability to do so. As a general standard, in the event of Mercz attack, be certain to announce it and request reinforcements: do not underestimate their numbers. [18:32:15] Aryte Vesperia: However, on the flip side, be certain to permit Mercz visitation and treat them respectfully without exception. They remain our key allies. They are marked on Mercury as “hostile” for classification and report purposes. By no means are they a typical hostile. [18:33:37] Aryte Vesperia: > Units and Gear [18:34:29] Aryte Vesperia: The requests for unit specific gear are certainly noted; I’ve received several comments, particularly in regards to unit armor mods and weaponry. Please keep in mind we are in the exploratory / consideration process of updating the UCA to mesh. Nothing is in stone at this time, but it does put a delay on pushing forward with modifications to the existing UCA. [18:35:18] Aryte Vesperia: I have and always will be under the belief that gear does not make a unit, nor is any unit entitled to gear. Units must earn the right to have specific gear by performance, not perform by having gear. [18:36:51] Aryte Vesperia: > Keynote: Defense Reflections [18:37:58] Aryte Vesperia: As we ramp up our sizeable defenses—notably with 2142 and the Mercz, I would like to underline some defense practices that have worked superbly. These should be considered mandatory expectations and carried out henceforth, especially in the spirit of ART operations. [18:39:04] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost: defense is best in large scale when it is divided into multiple fire teams. When personnel permit, it is a good idea to separate out four groups (potentially a separate one for Astra; so a fifth). One group to each point, with a reserve element holding the road around the lounge. [18:40:49] Aryte Vesperia: During both the 2142 and the Mercz attack, the division of forces was critical: having an assigned fire team lead and internal battle buddies gave us the major edge. We were able to react, be flexible, and ensure constant medicing in sectors. Additionally, whenever a weakness appeared, the reserve element was easily committed to plug the hole and ensure success. [18:42:11] Aryte Vesperia: In no scenario should we simply allow natural progression of forces to the front: individuals must be assigned by name, provided an FTL, and managed in sectors. If we do not keep a firm hold and use sectors, it is inevitable that a weakness will present itself during maneuvering—especially when TPs are being sent, when it is most common that an individual could be TP’d to the wrong sector. [18:43:22] Aryte Vesperia: Remember to stay in your areas unless ordered to move by the OIC: deviation from a point nearly guarantees its loss. Ex; even if center is looking dire, NE should not break from NE to help center. They can certainly provide fire from NE on center, but if they move to assist center . . . chances are, a competent attacking force will exploit it. [18:44:24] Aryte Vesperia: Furthermore: teleport, teleport, teleport. Regardless of any assumed “designated medic,” all personnel are medics, without exception. Teleport your battle buddy and teleport any other personnel who require it. Mercz are very proficient in mass teleports with designated medics: but it is also very vulnerable; if you kill their designated medic, they have to reassign a new one to fill in, or try to teleport the designated medic back. We have used this against them many, many times. [18:45:28] Aryte Vesperia: Lastly: don’t lose steam. These defenses tend to get long, resulting in personnel getting stuck into a sort of “motion over thought” state. You can note this when defense gets quiet and people are mechanically moving to their designated areas—that’s good, but also bad. Keep your wits about you, stay alert. React to enemy action and keep engaged in communication. Once you break the fugue of combat, you’ll catch your second wind and be good to go. [18:46:31] Aryte Vesperia: Annnnnd before we break. A special mention for you all. :} [18:46:51] Aryte Vesperia: Three years ago today, a Mr. Zerowinged Vasiliev joined our ranks as a happy cadet. [18:47:10] Aryte Vesperia: SO DID HEATHER SOMETIME AROUND THIS TIME APPARENTLY. [18:48:00] Aryte Vesperia: That said. Thank you all for coming. Promotions and such will be up tomorrow. :} We'll be prepping for raid here in a bit. Gonna touch base with the Mercz to see how many we can bring. [18:48:09] Aryte Vesperia: Beat the war drums and shit. [18:48:10] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed. [18:48:11] Aryte Vesperia snaps his fist to his chest, presenting a brief salute. [18:48:12] Vain Composer salutes sharply, proudly claiming: "Glory to the Imperium, Pro Patria." [18:48:15] Maverick Garfield salutes. May God lead us to victory. [18:48:15] Huttser Ishelwood: Ready to kick some tires and lights some fires people?

Encourage him to make a new group. Thanks for the info, Radryl.

[22:40:25] Honey Hoffman: How do I move to Terra? [22:40:54] Aryte Vesperia: You must first write me a poem. [22:40:56] Aryte Vesperia: As to why. [22:41:30] Honey Hoffman: Ethan is an asshole. Terra is now my goal. Please let me switch or I'll be a huge bitch [22:42:12] Aryte Vesperia: LMFAO [22:42:20] Honey Hoffman: the flying makes me dizzy [22:42:20] Aryte Vesperia: O m g.

Hell of a lot better than I can.

I will be on a PVP server if I opt to actually play. I played a bit at a friends, didn't really get the feeling it'd be a game that'll keep me entertained more than a week.

[18:00:40] Aryte Vesperia: Meeting start. As a reminder: all questions, comments (etc) are to be held until given the opportunity to speak. When that opportunity is provided, be sure to raise your hands. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the meeting. [18:01:00] Aryte Vesperia: A special thanks to anyone who put down their cocaine (Skyrim) to join us today. Lol. [18:01:15] Aryte Vesperia: Statistics Members: 311 Cadets: 8 Applications New: 7 Accepted: 1 Denied: 3 Review: 3 Combat Defensive: 76 Offensive: 16 Allied Assist: 0 [18:01:46] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic events this week: all’s quiet on the western front. General communal slow down on account of Skyrim and nearing-finals-week for most folks. Resumption of normalcy will no doubt follow completion of this semester of school. Good luck to everyone! On a side note; Skyrim is awesome, but do not forget the basic routines to keep things goin’ here. >:( [18:02:23] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:02:45] Ethan Schuman raises his hand for Astra. [18:02:51] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Schuman. [18:02:58] Ethan Schuman: Starting off with the best news for the week. Scarlet finally got his new video card. It's on its way to his humble communist hideout, so we anticipate his return within the next few days. Chances are that he'll want to make up for lost time, so I'd look forward to raids, training, and any other excuse he can make to drive bullets into skulls. We've picked up a few new members (including a human!) that are running through Palaestra at the moment. 39th's fighters are completed, but a certain complication that I will not go into is preventing them from being delivered. That will hopefully be resolved. Aquila's flight night turned out wonderfully, but Reapers' had to be cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. Letalis activity was light this week, but with Scarlet coming back, Hell Week will be happening next week. [18:03:29] Ethan Schuman: Also, we're building cool stuff with lasers. [18:03:37] Ethan Schuman: That's it for Astra this week. [18:03:38] Aryte Vesperia: Woo hoo. [18:03:53] Huttser Ishelwood raises his AK-47 for Terra. ] [18:03:58] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Ishelwood. [18:04:09] Huttser Ishelwood: From Invictus; "Skyrim and Modern Warfare 3 must I say this week has been a glorious one for all gamers. Snape kills Dumbledore with a 105 MM and giants kick people across the mountains. Invictus is rewriting history as we know so this image will show you our progress http://tinyurl.com/87np9bd" [18:04:28] Huttser Ishelwood: From Evalidus; "Roses are red, violets are blue, what are you doing ? Evalidus is waiting for you ! We have few slots open here in Evalidus, otherwise activity has been steady and Huttser has lot of plans for the ongoing month ! If you are interested of joining Evalidus, contact either Huttser Ishelwood or Awanken Wasp." [18:04:57] Huttser Ishelwood: From Insidiae: [18:05:08] Huttser Ishelwood: From Insidiae: Business as usual this week for Insidiae, asses were kicked, names were taken. Anyone wishing to join contact Mackenzie Macbain. [18:05:19] Huttser Ishelwood: From Praescius; "Through out the wholes Praescius been doing great. Few raids been led for A-4 in mid week. Oyur armor is soon going to be Develop once munturiom start kicking the can. Other then that, Praescius been just chilling in the lounge. We currently still have slots open if you're interested Just contact Afevis Sodertelge or Ookamiwulf Lemton." [18:05:27] Huttser Ishelwood: From Saevitas; "A fine week for Saevitas. Over the course of this week our members have made great strides in combat tactics in MW3, as well as survival strategies in Skyrim. In both cases we have achieved victory for the Ordo Imperialis. We also did that SL thing, I think?" [18:05:56] Huttser Ishelwood: No B Report this week, thus concluding the Terra report. Can I go back to slaying Dragons now? [18:07:34] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports this evening? [18:07:35] Drasamax Python raises hand for the IEA. [18:07:37] Radryl Allen raises his hand for Adstutia. [18:07:43] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Python. [18:07:47] Drasamax Python: From myself for The Imperial Education Administration:Many Schola classes this week with several graduates. \o/ Thank you Magister Genesis Ronmark, Shizzerk Kostolany, and Kurama Bingyi for taking care of those cadets. Few Armatura classes, and in Imperial Ludi an NCO-A class. Not much developmental wise this week to mention. [18:07:58] Drasamax Python: Shotgun Academy is now available for a Imperial Ludi course (Updated the master list with it too). Along with its first sign up sheet under the IEA section of the forums. The class was planned to be held today sometime before the meeting but lol everyone is off playing Skyrim, BF3, MW3 and what not so it never happened. So you'll have to keep an eye out for another in the future if you missed it. That is all from the Imperial Education Administration. [18:09:05] George Reisman raises his hand for Cohors B. [18:09:11] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you kindly. Mr. Allen? [18:09:18] Radryl Allen: Ladies and Gentlemen, I am here to introduce you ( As I did not introduce it on the last meeting) Adstutia! It is a group that had been found two weeks ago, its main purpose is to deal with International affairs and make sure our relationship with these groups keep positive. Like said on the last meeting, the results are being positive, but we still on low numbers, so we are looking for new members! If you think you can fit on the padrons that I will show, contact me or XO Tonet Millar. -You need to be at least a E-3; -Be able to speak more than one language or.. -Be able to handle big situations, write reports, take informations that will be given on the meetings; -Be active. [18:09:38] Radryl Allen: The report of this week was way weird, more like a rollercoaster, Adstutia had been on a operation called by "Operation Rattlesnake" which basically consists on a mission to assist EB( Exercito Brasileiro) in exchange of politic assistance, and as a extra point, they will also ban Melina and Hessel of their sim, on the first week we are had some progress BUT, their main leader began to complain, it delayed our work, she was acting like some kind of nazi or xenophobic person, also complaining about Ordo and saying how Melina is a "nice person and sweet" ( Hillarious, I know). As she was the ONLY person against those projects, the other Generals began to act, the other two Leaders of the group demoted her and now she does not have enough strenght to complain about the changes, so we kept working on those. [18:10:04] Radryl Allen: Their handbook is almost done , the Recruit sistem will be changed, they are creating the merit and ranking sistem as well. We are also assisting them to rebuild their sim, update their weaponary, so if you are a scripter, a builder or if you know any, you are more than welcome to assist us, any help is welcome, and will be rewarded! (You do not even need to be on the group to participate of this mission) As final note, just because I loved this new, their crazy leader got demoted hahahaha. [18:10:19] Radryl Allen: That is all. [18:11:08] Aryte Vesperia: Very good, thank you Mr. Allen. [18:11:17] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Reisman? [18:11:23] George Reisman: Quite an eventful week for Victrix this week, Tsukiyomi has been taking routine trainings to the killhouse as some of you have seen already and encourages those in his squad to continue to take part (He might make you some cake). Marcus is going to be holding a meeting fairly soon with Rapax so keep your eyes peeled for a notice that will be posted with the details. Finally as always DO ART or there will be no cake and Aryte will be sad which makes me sad :< and “PRFS GET THEM DONE” -George [18:11:36] George Reisman: That's it, thanks pr0wer! [18:11:43] Pr0wer Miles: NP [18:12:05] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent. Thank you. [18:12:10] Aryte Vesperia: Final call for reports this evening. [18:12:12] Mark Karlfeldt raises his decidedly human hand. [18:12:19] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Karlfeldt. [18:12:41] Mark Karlfeldt: Development has slowed down somewhat with the release of several major game titles. But a new-new update to the Covalent to fix the still-persistent auth issue has been released. If you're wondering why your Covalent 1.1 stopped working, you need the new one. Also, in case you haven't noticed, Disembodied has made robes for Munitorum on Aryte's request. There's still a few issues to iron out but it's a promise of things to come - with mesh rigging a reality, we (Disembodied) can do some really neat stuff with uniforms. My semester of college is drawing to a close - once it's done, I have a lot planned, and a lot already lined up to do, so expect some progress in that regard. Next on the list appears to be the jetbike, fleetship and vendor. Something something darksyde. [18:13:58] Aryte Vesperia: Thanks a lot. Munitorum, to add, is getting robes for their developers. It's WIP, as, well. We need to rig a copy for females. [18:14:39] Aryte Vesperia: Movin' on: [18:14:45] Aryte Vesperia: > ART [18:15:05] Aryte Vesperia: As a reminder, the Achievement Rating Tiers continue to go forward each Sunday at 5:00 PM SLT. (Over the next week, there will be some additional sessions hosted at unusual times.) ART is an advanced squad / fire team based combat practice based around materials found here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/12172-ordo-achievement-rating-tiers/ [18:16:11] Aryte Vesperia: It is currently “volunteer” basis, however within the next couple of weeks it will begin to push toward a mandatory status for select units. This includes all elite squads. It is highly recommended that, if you are seeking an elite unit position or are in an elite unit, that you participate. The materials are extremely useful and have proven to increase combat proficiency in battle events. [18:17:21] Aryte Vesperia: Each sessions features a portion of instruction and then about an hour of live action. After each event, there is a recap on successes and failures, then an opportunity to receive one-on-one correspondence for qualifications. There are three levels of qualification—each has a corresponding beret. Upon completion of the whole ART course, you earn a white beret and the capability to instruct ART courses of your own. [18:18:13] Aryte Vesperia: The next session will be tomorrow, at 5:00 PM SLT. More than likely, there will also be an early session this upcoming Wednesday, at 2:00 PM SLT. [18:19:25] Aryte Vesperia: Next . . [18:19:27] Aryte Vesperia: > Finalizing Revision Projects [18:19:48] Aryte Vesperia: Per our discussions over the last couple of weeks, we have finalized the outline for items to revise over the remainder of the year. I am happy to report that there is a great deal of material to go over—I appreciate everyone’s input. I will publish a copy of the final outline and begin tracking progress via a forum post as of tomorrow. You will be able to find it in the “Imperator’s Atrium” section. [18:21:41] Aryte Vesperia: There is a whole lot of great stuff coming, but I’d like to highlight a couple this evening that I find especially awesome. Foremost, officer work load is going to be worked out in more depth—each officer will have a list of tasks, along with revolving ones (such as OIC duties during X week). Furthermore, we will be creating a differentiation between an administration officer and a combat officer. As an example: senior officers will have their core tasks focused on administrative tasks, whereas junior officers will have a heavy load of combat related measures. Their success and activity will be judged on said lists. [18:23:15] Aryte Vesperia: Additionally, the way we handle rewards will be dramatically reshaped—QP will remain, but a large swathe of vanity items are going to be included to permit more unit-level awards. For example, officers will be receiving a personalized momento that they can hand out at their will to other members as a token of their appreciation/fulfilling a feat. The same idea could very well apply to special units in the form of . . . say, special pins awarded for successful drop ship missions, or flight jackets that may be worn off base as casual garb. [18:24:30] Aryte Vesperia: > Schedule for the Week [18:24:42] Aryte Vesperia: The aforementioned in mind . . Mr. Aryte here has decided to take the week off from work to relax and work on Ordo. Strange how those two go hand in hand. Nevertheless, I will be around for the next nine or so days, simply putting time in on the revision projects. I will be off/on/idle most of the time, as I’ll be designing and dragging people off to help. However, I’ll be about. So. Get them raids done, or else. [18:25:51] Aryte Vesperia: > Exploratory: Replacement Sidearm [18:26:29] Aryte Vesperia: We discussed this in brief during the last officer meeting, but I'd like your input before I take it to Munitorum. I am definitely looking at replacing our Five-SeveN here in the near future-- not that I don't love it, but it's time to move on. [18:28:14] Aryte Vesperia: The only question I have is: do we want to go for a more futureistic approach, or a modern approach? Future doesn't mean "laser gun;" it could be in the variety of Mass Effect with relatively "solid" rounds, but use a heat sink sort of magazine. [18:28:29] Aryte Vesperia: That said: your turn to give input. Simply say, future or modern. :} Go. [18:28:39] Arokh Takakura: future [18:28:44] Huttser Ishelwood: Future, just no lasers [18:28:45] Maverick Garfield: modern [18:28:53] Vain Composer: Modern sexy. [18:28:58] Christoph Batra: future Mass Effect 2 ftw [18:28:59] Honey Hoffman: You can't go future without lasers. [18:29:03] Ookamiwulf Lemton: Rocket pistol [18:29:08] Mark Karlfeldt: Apparently no one, not even Aryte, reads the project charter. :| [18:29:14] Nrom Normandy: future eye lasers [18:29:20] Shizzerk Kostolany: No lasers :| unless they are tacticool laser sights [18:29:54] George Reisman: MODERN [18:30:05] George Reisman: SPACEMARINE TOO [18:30:19] Aryte Vesperia: Lol. [18:30:22] Aryte Vesperia: Anyone else? [18:30:26] Maverick Garfield: desert eagle just to piss off Mark [18:30:29] Mark Karlfeldt: Pistol The standard, universal sidearm for all soldiers in the Ordo Imperialis. Issued to all members upon graduating Schola. Light Weapon. Primary/Secondary Slot. Semi-automatic. Capacity: 12 rounds. Reload: 1.5 seconds. Dispersion: 0.6m @ 100m. Melee Range: 3m. > Dual Wield: Allows for the use of a pistol in both hands, or one in either left or right. > Range Mode: Sets the magazine to 100 round capacity, dispersion to 0, and loads training rounds. For the firing range challenges. > Capacity Upgrade 1: Increases the capacity to 20. [25 QP] >> Capacity Upgrade 2: Increases the capacity to 28. [25 QP] > Suppressor Upgrade: Allows the attachment of a suppressor, which reduces the visibility of bullets and firing report volume. [25 QP] [18:31:39] Aryte Vesperia: All righty. Thank you. [18:32:29] Aryte Vesperia: Annnd next: [18:32:39] Aryte Vesperia: > Reminder: Use of TS3 [18:33:20] Aryte Vesperia: As a quick side note, please remember it is necessary to be on TS3 if you are the OIC. Additionally, it should be expected as necessary to be on TS3 and in the top channel if there is defense ongoing. [18:33:34] Aryte Vesperia: Too often have people been "accidentally" shot because someone isn't on TS3/isn't in the right channel. [18:33:55] Aryte Vesperia: It is not in regulation as of yet, but you can take this statement as such: you need to be on TS3, in the right channel, during defense. [18:35:09] Aryte Vesperia: I am foregoing a keynote this evening, in hopes that someone will take this extra time to get some combat going. :] Raids love you. Don't neglect them. [18:35:21] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you all for coming. You are dismissed. [18:35:24] Aryte Vesperia snaps his fist to his chest, presenting a brief salute. [18:35:26] Constantine Giugiaro salutes! "Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dieing for his country. [18:35:26] Constantine Giugiaro: He won it by making the other dumb bastard die for his country." [18:35:27] Maverick Garfield salutes. May God lead us to victory. [18:35:28] Christoph Batra salutes! [18:35:28] Radryl Allen salutes. [18:35:28] Vain Composer salutes sharply, proudly claiming: "Glory to the Imperium, Pro Patria."
