  1. [18:00:07] Aryte Vesperia: Good evening and welcome, everyone. Meeting start time: going forward, please be certain to hold your comments and questions until given the opportunity to speak. Failure to do so will result in a dismissal from the meeting. [18:00:35] Aryte Vesperia: Statistics Members: 312 Cadets: 12 Applications New: 8 Accepted: 2 Denied: 5 Review: 3 Operations Defensive: 129 Offensive: 18 Allied Assist: 2 [18:01:05] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic notes: This week has been fairly uneventful in the way of “political changes.” We have, however, interacted with some “new” targets—such as New Rome. Notably, New Rome is our biggest fan and took every available opportunity to try to pretend to be internet tough guys. Nevertheless, we stomped them into the ground. Otherwise, the group Chaos has (pretended?) to extend an olive branch and wishes to try to interact with us more often. They pledge respect. But, time will tell! [18:01:26] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:01:38] Xoza Tyron raises his hand for Astra [18:01:49] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Tyron. [18:01:50] Hollowmengitus Yifu: Fiddle sticks. [18:01:53] Xoza Tyron: Ethan has been busy IRL, spending time with his girlfriend/working, hopefully he'll be up here next week. [18:01:59] Xoza Tyron: In flights and activity, new flight leadership movement is settling in well, our regular weekly flight nights activity is on the rise bringing about new ideas and communication between all members. A few members unfortunately have requested inactive status for various reasons but with new members rolling in, overall activity is on the rise. Palaestra's been doing well this week, we've been concentrating on new material and presentation styles. We're also upgrading the flight courses to allow use by anyone and track records off site for a little bit of competition. This week we'll be working on training anyone who is not Astra and getting them through the phases, so contact us if you're interested. [18:02:11] Xoza Tyron: In development, the physical version of the Phantom is pretty much done, however Ethan is having some problems with the attachment version. Something related to permissions and auths, we'll get it figured out tomorrow. Can't really give an ETA at this point but we're hoping we can get a beta out soon so we can fix up Palaestra for it. Disembodied has been hard at work with standardized forms, paperwork and packets. We've all worked to bring together a good amount of information for these packets and threw them at Dis to organize. These are to ensure accuracy in training future command position holders so they're not thrown into leadership without some kind of template. All of this will be available pretty soon. [18:02:28] Xoza Tyron: On a final note, some inspiration from our local catnip addict: "In the Beginning the Imperator created Titan. Titan was with out face in void; So the Imperator created Munitorum, and Munitorum made it good. Then the Imperator looked to the ground, and created Terra. From Terra came the squads, and alpha squads, and he was pleased. Then he sought out the skies, and from the skies Astra was formed. As he looked upon Astra he said that was also good. And through Astra The flights where born, and the Imperator was even more pleased. With all of Ordo they dominated, and the domination was good as the Imperator proclaimed it shall be." [18:02:38] Xoza Tyron: That is all from Astra [18:03:07] Hollowmengitus Yifu: o/ [18:03:16] Aryte Vesperia: .. [18:03:18] Aryte Vesperia: Wow, lol. [18:03:21] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Yifu? [18:03:31] Hollowmengitus Yifu: COHORS A: > A-I, Invictus: From Pr0wer Miles: Invictus had another strong week with raid count which makes happy CO happy. With that put aside, I plan to hold a small meeting on tomorrow around 4 SLT so please try to attend or if you know you can’t attend please notify myself or Shizzerk. With that being said I hope to see everyone try to attend tomorrow’s art session. [18:03:54] Hollowmengitus Yifu: > A-II, Evalidus: From Awanken Wasp: Evalidus has been doing fairly well on deployments lately, kudos for everyone ! We still have lot to come and there is lot of butts to kick. We have lot of open slots so If you are interested of joining Evalidus, contact either Huttser Ishelwood or Awanken Wasp. [18:04:13] Hollowmengitus Yifu: > A-III, Insidiae: From Mackenzie Macbain: Insidiae was very active again this week. We have added a new member, Confiuzer Thor, who now proudly wears the emerald green stripe on his armor. Ultio et Virtus! [18:04:39] Hollowmengitus Yifu: > A-IV, Praescius: From Liam Macalroy: ALWAYS SCOUTING FOR MEMBERS, Our numbers are up from last week, activity-wise. Overall a standard week for an Alpha squad. Good overall communication between members, we will be redefining our training program as well as our schedule. Anyone interested in joining the squad or more information on it, please send an IM to Afevis Sodertelge or Liam Macalroy. Both of which like trains. :> [18:05:05] Hollowmengitus Yifu: COHORS B: > From George Reisman: It was an overall good week for B COHORS. Let's look to next week, it may be even better. Ask for PRF's, too! [18:05:20] Hollowmengitus Yifu: MISC.: Take tests, ask commanders for recruitment opportunities; Alpha squads are always looking for new recuits! [18:05:31] Hollowmengitus Yifu: That's all from me. [18:06:03] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:06:08] Aryte Vesperia: Additional reports this evening? [18:06:09] Drasamax Python raises hand for the IEA. [18:06:17] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Python? [18:06:27] Drasamax Python: From myself for The Imperial Education Administration: 11 Schola classes, 20 Armatura modules(individual ones), and 1 (Armored Academy) Ludi classes held this week in the IEA. The Armatura rewrite is making more progress much like last week. The Module A porportion is finally rewritten as we slowly begin to move through rewritting Module B and so on. [18:06:42] Drasamax Python: A topic is on the forums directed at those interested in taking the NCO-Academy presently and onward. More information can be can be found here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/16172-ordo-imperial-ludi-nco-academy-ongoing/ That is all from the Imperial Education Administration. [18:07:25] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Next? [18:07:29] Radryl Allen raises his hand. [18:07:33] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Allen. [18:07:42] Radryl Allen: Good evening everyone, we got some news here that are mainly related to possible alliance or negociations, it was a curious week... anyway we will just be passing part of these informations as we still need to study the rest. [18:07:53] Radryl Allen: Megiddo found a alliance group called by UBC( União Brasileira de Combates.) (Brazilian Combat Union.) For now their alliance is only with ASI, a new organization that came up, anyway, Megiddo's plan on making this group is to make all the brazilian groups join this alliance. Also for those who make part of the night shift ( Including myself. :>) be warned, XAF will not be the only problem during those turns anymore, Megiddo decided to do the same that they are used to do, outnumber us willing to get the points, so keep your eyes open. On other news, 2142 may be using Megiddo for their plans as both of the organizations had been negociating really often, and as said before, the new Megiddo's gear was given by one of the 2142's personnel, obviously it was in exchange of something, we will keep gathering informations to find out what is their plan on doing these negociations so often. BUT it sounds like they are using Megiddo as a chess piece for their plan as even Shark sounded confused about what is going o [18:07:53] Radryl Allen: n around him. [18:08:21] Radryl Allen: As always some small groups were found, but most of them died, and about Afo Wolfpack, we are not really sure if they still that active as we did not see their personnels really often, nor their leader. Well as mentioned before the other informations will be held as they still need to get some confirmation, so the last thing that I am going to say is that the "Revenge Squad" is back to active, I already got confirmations from some organizations, for those who do not know what is that squad, is a bunch of alts from people who are actually inside of organizations with the intention of raiding organizations that they had been at before and probably were ejected from it and are looking for "revenge", at all costs( on other words, even outnumbering and doing all those silly things like primshooting). [18:08:51] Radryl Allen: That is all for now. [18:09:47] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:09:52] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? [18:10:24] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Moving on. [18:10:41] Aryte Vesperia: > Item Update [18:11:00] Aryte Vesperia: Development of our new reward item line has progressed steadily. At this time, we have completed the Tome, the elite shoulder, and all of the officer coins. The allotments and distribution of said items are not yet finished, compliments of my schedule. If all persists as planned, the details and distribution should begin this weakened/next week. [18:11:05] Aryte Vesperia: Weekend, rather. [18:11:41] Aryte Vesperia: Specifically, the three completed items are slated for separate elements. The challenge coins, as we’ve discussed, will be going to officers to hand out at their discretion. The Tome will serve the dualistic role as a high-level IEA honor, along with fulfilling the item in the title/merit of Historian. [18:12:10] Aryte Vesperia: As for the shoulder, that will be discussed more in depth in the next topic, as it fits into the OIC TISRP. [18:12:44] Aryte Vesperia: We do have several additional items awaiting modeling. Including, but not limited to: a command staff, an elite gorget, and additional cords for the dress uniform. Furthermore, I do have to admit I am chewing on the possibility of adding new formal attire to the queue to replace all of our existing dress uniforms with a mesh build. However, if that does come to fruition, we will ensure that the units awaiting mods will receive those first. [18:13:36] Aryte Vesperia: Movin' on: [18:13:43] Aryte Vesperia: > OIC TISRP [18:13:59] Aryte Vesperia: Regarding the elite shoulder (and the other various awards available), the Time-In-Service Reward Program for OIC is pretty much good to go. Mercury has and is tracking OIC time. There is no simple way to “check” times quite yet, but they are being tracked. I am going to set the official start of TISRP tracking as Monday. As such, any time held as OIC from 23JAN12 onward will count toward TISRP purposes. [18:15:05] Aryte Vesperia: For those curious, rewards are tiered in the following manner: [18:15:13] Aryte Vesperia: ❍ Tiers of Achievement • Tier 1 o Requirement: 50 Hours o Reward: Command Cord (Left Shoulder) - Gold • Tier 2 o Requirement: 150 Hours o Reward: Stalwart Gorget ( Neck ) • Tier 3 o Requirement: 350 Hours o Reward: Command Baton (Special) [18:15:59] Aryte Vesperia: Oop. The cord is actually the shoulder. [18:16:04] Aryte Vesperia: I forgot to change that. :d [18:16:23] Aryte Vesperia: An individual shall only accrue time as the base commander during DEFCON4 or greater. As such, when the region is locked at designated DEFCON5 (vacation), there shall not be any opportunity to earn OIC time-in-service points. All personnel are included in this opportunity. Officers shall not automatically accrue or receive compulsory access to any unlock or perk included within this program. Officers shall earn any of the aforementioned through the same methods as an enlistee. [18:17:42] Aryte Vesperia: > Combat Challenge [18:18:06] Aryte Vesperia: We have not done one of these in a while, so it’s overdue! Throughout the business period of 22JAN12 to 28JAN12, we will be holding a combat challenge for all units—Terra and Astra. What we will be looking for is the greatest number of quality/successful raids throughout that period. To qualify, it must be greater than thirty minutes in length and result in Ordo victory. We will be basing it upon /time/, not raw number. So the more /quality/ raids, the better. [18:19:16] Aryte Vesperia: The most successful units will receive a sweet QP award. The commander of said unit, if an officer, will receive a . . . negotiated reward. [18:19:49] Aryte Vesperia: Make this an opportunity to show your prowess. Any attempt to kinda smudge the numbers or be unfair will result in flogging. [18:20:18] Aryte Vesperia: Next. [18:20:25] Aryte Vesperia: > Resituating Gear [18:20:43] Aryte Vesperia: A big topic this week: resituating Cohors A gear. [18:21:15] Aryte Vesperia: This has been an item of interest for several weeks now. After careful consideration, the upper echelons of Terra and I have agreed that changes to the gear pool for Cohors A are necessary. Specifically, we are going to pursue and are pursuing a new approach—to treat Cohors A as an elite body with equal access to specialized gear, but with each unit having a particular niche of training to focus and educate others on. [18:22:02] Aryte Vesperia: This is a stark contrast to our current approach—each unit picks a piece of gear, which defines their identity and specialization. This routinely puts us into situations where the specialized gear is entirely unused or dictates advantage to X unit. By the new approach, every unit shall be able to access /all/ of the elite gear, but each shall pick and be experts in a specific area. As such, each unit shall also be expected to be the educators to the rest of the Cohors. Furthermore, now we can call upon the niche unit to spearhead operations, and, if manpower is unavailable, said niche unit can call reserves from other units and /use/ the specialized gear together. [18:23:05] Aryte Vesperia: The inspiration to this design is that of the Army Rangers. Routinely, you’ll find specialized units within the Rangers that orient with climates/etc. But at a base line, everyone has the same premier access to more specialized and unique gear. [18:24:23] Aryte Vesperia: I genuinely feel this will push and underline the critical portion of every squad: defining identity through training and command talents, rather than forcing a death grip on gear. Even more so, it removes the problem of bottlenecking in Munitorum. Additions to the gear pool will benefit /50/ people, rather than /10/. [18:25:48] Aryte Vesperia: I understand and acknowledge there is some concern with this shift, but I encourage everyone to give it an honest try and push. If things don’t work out, we can always revisit or find a new model. Nothing is in stone. :) We push for excellence and experiment. If we don’t, we get nothing but stagnation. [18:27:25] Aryte Vesperia: Next up [18:27:26] Aryte Vesperia: . [18:27:27] Aryte Vesperia:  ART [18:27:39] Aryte Vesperia: As there are a lot of new folks around and we skipped last week, I do want to remind everyone about ART and the importance of participating in ART. [18:28:04] Aryte Vesperia: ART, Achievement Rating Tiers, occurs every Sunday at 5:00 PM SLT (more dates/times asap, I promise). ART focuses on close, high level team combat traits. It is a highly rewarding program and should be considered critical to combat in the Ordo. [18:28:38] Aryte Vesperia: Although the requirements on the IEA section mention E-3 and such, I am waiving all of that. All are welcome and encouraged to attend! [18:30:14] Aryte Vesperia: As for the keynote this evening: [18:31:06] Aryte Vesperia: Short, but I just want to quickly underline a few key points. [18:31:37] Aryte Vesperia: First: defense and participation therein. If you are on Titan, please be aware you are considered "active and available." [18:32:01] Aryte Vesperia: Please do not idle for long periods of time/go outright AFK for hours on Titan. It gives defense misrepresented numbers. [18:32:35] Aryte Vesperia: If you are present, be certain to get involved. Defense is the first priority. [18:33:18] Aryte Vesperia: In the event that a situation escalates and you are the standing OIC: expend your options. You have a lot of tools in the box. Heavy armaments, reinforcements, and intelligent manuevering. [18:34:01] Aryte Vesperia: Most regions have the benefit of a tiered objective system, in which you must do X before you can do Y or Z. [18:34:14] Aryte Vesperia: We do not have that luxury at this time. Ergo, do not be afraid to surrender one point to hold the other two. [18:35:27] Aryte Vesperia: And lastly: use what you've been taught. ART is a potent tool. The strength of an Ordo fireteam is unmatched. Our coordination and ability to operate as a unified whole has always kept us way ahead of the competition. [18:36:28] Aryte Vesperia: That said, kudos to you all for your performance this week. Outstanding raid turn out and defense work. Let's keep that momentum up as we head into the school year. I look forward to seeing the outcome of the combat challenge. [18:36:49] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions will be up tomorrow. Feel free to send me additional until midnight. [18:36:52] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed. :} [18:36:52] Aryte Vesperia snaps his fist to his chest, presenting a brief salute. [18:37:00] Mackenzie Macbain salutes! "Ultio et Virtus!" [18:37:00] Heavy666 Bolden salutes. [18:37:01] BurrWolf Qin salutes! "For the Glory of the Imperium!" [18:37:02] Hokusai Otsuka salutes! o7 [18:37:03] conger Mint salutes! [18:37:04] Shizzerk Kostolany salutes! [18:37:04] Xoza Tyron salutes! [18:37:06] Awanken Wasp salutes "Machines we are sending to the skies !" [18:37:06] Radryl Allen salutes.

  6. [19:59:53] ShadowFang Blessed: Yep [19:59:59] ShadowFang Blessed: er well [20:00:06] Aryte Vesperia: Let's get started. [20:00:12] Aryte Vesperia: This will be fairly brief. [20:00:31] Aryte Vesperia: I just want to go over a couple things. The main meeting is still Saturday at 6:00 PM SLT-- so don't confuse this with that. [20:01:53] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost, I just want to take a moment to touch on an important matter. Namely, speaking up if you've concern. Please don't simply hold complaints inside/vent to friends. IF there's a valid concern, bring it up so it can be addressed. The officer staff is here to ensure that progress is consistent and that any issues are hammered out. You won't be beaten for raising complaint, I promise. :} [20:02:05] Aryte Vesperia: Secondly, let's talk a bit about my expectations over the next couple of days. [20:02:32] Aryte Vesperia: I am heading out of town until Monday. As such, I really want to impress upon everyone the importance of being on their A game. [20:02:48] Aryte Vesperia: I will have computer access and be around to check in. Additionally, if needed, shoot me an offline per the norm. [20:03:02] Aryte Vesperia: Nevertheless, this is a vacation for me. I genuinely appreciate being able to enjoy those. [20:03:28] Aryte Vesperia: Be on your best behaviors. Get your daily shit done. 3 raids. Keep a vigilant eye out-- ARK and 2142 still lookin' to take a jab at us. [20:04:46] Aryte Vesperia: I am a big believer in your capabilities. So I have no doubt I won't be disappointed. Just, please go that extra length to ensure that the ship keeps movin' along. :} I look forward to celebrating your successes each night, and upon my return on Monday. [20:05:26] Aryte Vesperia: Outside of that, please give me some additional time should you need anything from me. I will try to handle any inductions (etc). But I have no idea how shitty or unshitty my net will be. [20:05:58] Aryte Vesperia: And that's that. :} I'll be afk for a few hours as I pack, but I'll check in before running off. Thank you all. I hope you all have an amazing weekend. I'll see you on Saturday for the weekly. [20:06:02] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed! [20:06:02] Aryte Vesperia snaps his fist to his chest, presenting a brief salute.

  9. [18:00:25] Aryte Vesperia: Good evening and welcome, everyone. Meeting start time: going forward, please be certain to hold your comments and questions until given the opportunity to speak. Neva Naughty Designs Hot Chocolate (Wear Me): Love is like swallowing hot chocolate before it has cooled off. It takes you by surprise at first, but keeps you warm for a long time. [18:02:57] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic notes this evening: primary comment, XAF remains intent on taking pot shots at us during the hours of 2 to 6 AM. Generally be aware and prepared to deal with their antics. Thus far, solid work. Secondly, a few interactions with CDF this week have provided us the realization that the group is a bit .. gun shy? Raid leads are encouraged to be guarded, CDF personnel will abandon defense in order to permit their leadership to envoke ratio rules. Final comment regarding interactions aboard: combat with 2142 early this week provided Ordo a strong combat interaction and victory. Please be alert for potential counters in the near future. [18:03:01] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:03:03] BurrWolf Qin Raises his hand for Terra [18:03:06] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Qin. [18:03:16] BurrWolf Qin: A-I, Invictus: From Pr0wer Miles: Goals for this coming week: Raids, raids, and raids. Now that most of the holiday festivities are over (and hopefully sober tsuki >:/) we are going to kick it into high gear and pick up the pace and hit hard. If all goes willing we will also PLAN on holding a training of some sort most likely joint that will be announced somewhere between midweek or towards the end, else if you need anything at all feel free to send me an IM at any point in time.. [18:03:35] BurrWolf Qin: ! [18:03:35] BurrWolf Qin: A-II, Evalidus: From Awanken Wasp: Hola Evalidus had decently active week. We held squad training and set forth the intensive training task for these following two months. The squad also has six empty spots so if you like fast cars and scented candles, contact either Huttser Ishelwood or Awanken Wasp. [18:03:55] BurrWolf Qin: A-III, Insidiae: From Ron Bleac: We lost a fobbit or two this week. Insidiae still has openings. We are looking to introduce a few prospective members who have expressed interest in the squad and will be contacting squad leaders shortly. Raid quotas not met but will be remedying next week with renewed, /hotly intensified, vigorous raid leading mmmm/ [18:04:15] BurrWolf Qin: A-IV, Praescius: From Afevis Sodetelge: Havoc Sparta has stepped down to focus on RL. We would also like to welcome Vipps Feden to the squad! We still have spots open, so if you want to join please contact Afevis Sodertelge! [18:04:29] BurrWolf Qin: A-V, Saevitas: From Singularity Phenomena: [turned in a blank report] [18:04:47] BurrWolf Qin: COHORS B: > From Pr0wer Miles: This week was fairly average compared to the rest, hopefully we can spice things up a bit with the new year as trainings within Victrix continue. A friendly reminder to everyone is that everyone gets two prfs a month which goes towards unlocking gear or a great way to benchmark yourself goes unnoticed so it is highly recommended that each one of you go up to your COs and ask for one! With that being said, good luck to everyone returning back from holidays and hope to see some fresh attitudes :D [18:05:15] BurrWolf Qin: This concludes Terra reports [18:05:41] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:05:43] Aryte Vesperia: Next? [18:05:47] Sebris Montpark raises paw [18:05:57] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Montpark. [18:06:05] Sebris Montpark: Running theme for Astra this week has been people busy with lots of other matters. Be it work, family, school, or first anniversaries with significant others (\o/), multiple members of Astra have had their attention in other places. That being said, this has not been an inactive week for us. While Aquila's new flight leader is still on leave (thanks to my public school education misreading 13th as 3rd), Tactical Squadron Command will be dipping down to make sure things go smoothly while he's gone. Xoza's with family at the moment, but Palaestra has been up to its usual standards of quickly processing people. Thursday night flight night was a success, and had a good turn out. In terms of administration, Disembodied has drawn up some new forms, and our leadership should have our position packets ready to go by next week. The last thing I want to touch on is the Phantom, which has had a temporary setback in development (due to Ethan catching a bad bug right before it went to testers). [18:07:06] Sebris Montpark: That is all From Astra for this week. [18:07:19] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Any additional reports this evening? [18:07:24] Drasamax Python raises hand for the IEA. [18:07:24] Radryl Allen raises his hand for Adstutia. [18:07:28] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Allen. [18:07:38] Radryl Allen: Good evening everyone! Adstutia had been trying to get some fresh news and actually we got some sucess, Megiddo got their new sim. like mentioned before, EB keeps losing people, and most of them are heading to Megiddo. Also there is "someone" producting new Megiddo's gear but at this point you might know who is that as they already came up here using some of those. I am afraid most of them do not follow the rules about the melee range though, as someone already said on TS on those weapons works like. [18:08:05] Radryl Allen: Anyway, here are other news, CATI is on its way to change its name to K'erberus, they still trying to make sure everyone will join the new group, it is a matter of stabilishing themselves at this new way. Also the new group mentioned before, Afo Wolfpack already got their sim, but sadly it still under construction, but as most of the defenders could see, they are already attacking us. Their main Leader, their "Imperator" is Renan, ex-CATI member, one of those that were unsatisfied with the situation, anyway, this group is being formed by some ex-CATI members and ex-Megiddos..anyway, I will be getting the LM as soon as possible to pass it to Tactica, as they denied to give it now as it still under construction. As last information about them, they still using weapons based on CATI's style, many explosions, high spread rate rifles or just with a good ammunation capacity. [18:08:40] Radryl Allen: Also this is a REMINDER, the portuguese classes are on the forums for a reason. Adstutia already made researches and we concluded that at least 60-80% of the visitors/hostiles that we get are portuguese speakers, and it can be kind of complicated as it is not like me, or Tonet or Pidelia gets online everytime that they comes up here. So try to think about a situation like this: A portuguese speaker shows up, nobody is able to talk to them properly. What will be the option left if they get closer? Open fire... at least I saw it happening time to time, so well, it is better this kind of situation be avoided, It goes to all the other languages of course, that is why it is always good to have people who are able to speak other languages around. Anyway, do not be afraid of taking those classes as they are REALLY simple, and it is just to help you on these situations. [18:09:16] Radryl Allen: Well, EB had been really quiet during these last weeks, we are not sure how long time they will be able to resist, so we will keep watching. Also if you are willing to join Adstutia, here are the requirements: Be at least a E-3; Be able to speak more than one language OR: Be able to handle paperwork and tough situations. And of course, be good at running incase they decide to open fire on us randomnly. [18:09:32] Radryl Allen: That is all from Adstutia. [18:09:37] Aryte Vesperia: HAha. [18:09:45] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Any additional reports? [18:09:49] Drasamax Python raises hand [18:09:56] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Python. [18:10:02] Drasamax Python: From myself for The Imperial Education Administration: 21 Schola classes(counted by phases), 12 Armatura(counted by module pieces), and 1 NCO-A Ludi Class held this week in the IEA. Yes, I decided to start adding actual class statistics to my statement for a better overall idea on activity now in each individual IEA branch. Nothing else to report at this time unless you count me maybe not being around this Monday because of symptoms I will have after an eye doctor appointment inrl. So it'd be best to forward any questions/stuff you have to IEA Commandant Zero Itamae that day if needed. [18:10:13] Drasamax Python: Armored Academy sign up open on the forums for those of you interested in tanks and such. Can be found here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/16035-ordo-armored-academy-sign-up-open/ [18:10:28] Drasamax Python: Haven't done this in a while and have been asked how to become a Magister recently so it seems like its about time to mention it again. If you want to become a Schola/Armatura Magister you have to follow the link below and fill out/post the application there. We'll get back to you asap once we process your application. http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/13701-iea-scholaarmatura-recruitment-application/ That is all from the Imperial Education Administration. [18:10:45] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:11:11] Aryte Vesperia: Final call for additional reports. [18:12:10] Aryte Vesperia: All righty, moving on. [18:12:32] Aryte Vesperia: I. Artificer Armor / Rewards Update [18:13:46] Aryte Vesperia: As part of our vanity line, the elite shoulder piece has been modeled (it is rezzed in front of me). The item will be wearable by all members, provided it is unlocked. Although I am not quite certain "what" someone will need to achieve this particular piece, I imagine it will be part of the OIC record system. [18:14:58] Aryte Vesperia: You can expect a couple other pieces of regal armor chunks to pop up as part of the set. Each will have a different achievement tied to it. We will, for certain, be adding at least a "gorget" in the same style. [18:15:19] Aryte Vesperia: Tied along with the general reward program enhancements, the challenge coin models have been hammered out. I'll rez them as well: [18:16:28] Aryte Vesperia: For those who are newer (or simply forgot), the challenge coins will serve as a collectors item that officers and various unit leads will be able to distribute at their discretion to members for commendable feats. [18:17:09] Aryte Vesperia: Additionally, the coins will be tradeable-- so they can be handed over to another Ordo member as a further extension of gratitude. [18:18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Officers will specifically grab their respective coin (# on front represents rank associated with coin) from a vendor. This will give some control and ensure that they're simply not dispensed out or used to throw at enlistees. [18:19:42] Aryte Vesperia: There will not be a QP equiv to any given coin, but complete sets will translate to some sort of momento or exchange for a vanity item. [18:19:56] Aryte Vesperia: Any questions regarding either of these? [18:20:39] Aryte Vesperia: Final call. [18:20:59] Aryte Vesperia: All righty, moving on: [18:21:17] Aryte Vesperia: III. Misc Tribunus Notes [18:22:20] Aryte Vesperia: As part of the revisions, I've been spending a degree of time thinking about the officer staff. I have identified a few areas in which we can definitely improve on. Particularly, officer promotions, achievements for officers, and giving more differentation between the multiple levels of officer. [18:23:24] Aryte Vesperia: Going forward, we will put a lot of investment into the use and adherence to the Tribunus assignment list (policy section of the forums). Specifically, officers who consistently meet and exceed their basic assignments will be granted eligibility for promotion-- rather than it being based on written recommendation. [18:24:05] Aryte Vesperia: Furthemore, the vanity items that are soon to be available to the officer corps will additionally be available to officers as unlocks. They shall not receive them by the grace of position. [18:25:14] Aryte Vesperia: We will also be eyeing some officer specific fluff or metrics, in order to ensure "O-1" is not seen as "end game." As is, once an individual reaches O-1 they essentially lose any need for PRFs, QP in general, and basically never get merits. [18:25:44] Aryte Vesperia: I think this short changes officers from the driving motion and the ability to reach for excellence. [18:26:04] Aryte Vesperia: IV. Out of Town [18:26:19] Aryte Vesperia: Simple enough. I'll be out of town from the 13th to the 16th. [18:26:32] Aryte Vesperia: I will have internet and a computer on hand. I'll be "around," but not as present as norm. [18:27:00] Aryte Vesperia: I will more than likely conduct the meeting via notebook on shitty hotel internet, with people like Burrwolf and Teron sitting around me. Lol. [18:27:22] Aryte Vesperia: I'll host my usual "I am going away for a few days, be good, or I'll eat children" meeting on Thursday around 7:00 PM. [18:28:20] Aryte Vesperia: Annnd the keynote for this evening: [18:29:05] Aryte Vesperia: A brief one, but I definitely want to push the matter. Our raid numbers have declined over the last couple of weeks-- a lot of folks have written it off as "oh, holidays" and so forth. [18:29:12] Aryte Vesperia: That excuse is kind of run into the ground. [18:30:13] Aryte Vesperia: Elite squads: you have goals, and those goals are /not/ being met. I've been incredibly benevolent about not throwing my weight around, as someone (or multiple someones) have been carrying the weight to keep the expected deployments out. That's no longer the case. [18:30:27] Aryte Vesperia: Ergo, I am giving an especially hard look at who is doing their job and who isn't. [18:31:08] Aryte Vesperia: Minimum goals are not there to punish. They're there to encourage and set a base line. But when you consistently fall under the expected level, then it turns into a negative matter. [18:31:57] Aryte Vesperia: I have really expended my ability to be merciful and turn a blind eye. If you are an officer, you need to meet your basic minimums. [18:32:12] Aryte Vesperia: If you are an elite squad member, you need to meet your basic two a week minimum. [18:32:24] Aryte Vesperia: If you're a raid commander, you need to be out there making it happen. [18:33:18] Aryte Vesperia: There will no longer be leniency on this. No exceptions made. [18:34:34] Aryte Vesperia: I know everyone is very capable of doing it. So I really need to see it done. [18:35:33] Aryte Vesperia: It dramatically impacts my ability to focus on being proactive, if I am constantly forced to be reactive/chewing on someone for not pulling their weight. [18:35:47] Aryte Vesperia: The more proactive I can be, the more nice shiny things we get. [18:36:17] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:37:18] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed, then. Go make me proud. [18:37:19] Aryte Vesperia snaps his fist to his chest, presenting a brief salute. [18:37:20] Arokh Takakura slams a claw to his chest with a dull thud. "Imperator Vesperia." [18:37:24] Vain Composer salutes sharply, proudly claiming: "Glory to the Imperium, Pro Patria." [18:37:24] Radryl Allen salutes. [18:37:25] BurrWolf Qin salutes! "For the Glory of the Imperium!" [18:37:25] Sebris Montpark: Salutes

  12. [17:59:42] Aryte Vesperia: Good evening and welcome, everyone. Meeting start time: going forward, please be certain to hold your comments and questions until given the opportunity to speak. Notably, the 39th stepped back and issued a notification that they are closing. Their presence will certainly be missed. Earlier last week, T’Koi also closed its doors, citing financial problems. Although neither group was specifically a major target of ours, it is always lamentable to see any group losing its footing. On the positive side, it does appear that our long time political ally, the Exilion Enclave, will be /opening/ its doors soon. We look forward to interacting with them on the battlefield. [18:01:31] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:01:37] Ron Bleac raises hand. [18:01:41] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Bleac. [18:01:55] Ron Bleac: COHORS A: > A-I, Invictus: From Shizzerk Kostolany: Not much happened this week for Invictus due to people having families to spend time with. Although in the near future, once activity picks up again after the holidays, trainings and squad raids will be held. In addition to that we do still have slots open and are looking for good active members. So if you're interested simply contact Pr0wer Miles or Shizzerk Kostolany. [18:02:24] Ron Bleac: > A-II, Evalidus: From Huttser Ishelwood: Evalidus hopes everyone has had a good Christmas and would like to wish everyone a merry New Year. Coming into 2012, Evalidus will be surging back to the front on all fronts, combat and recruitment. We currently have five slots open, so if fire support and heavy weapons sounds like your cup of tea (Don't say a word Aryte >:[) then feel free to contact Huttser Ishelwood or Awanken Wasp. [18:04:33] Ron Bleac: COHORS B: > From Thatguy Andel: Really nothing much to report. Inactivity due to festivus. I'll waiver all of the inactivity for this week because of the holidays, however I will be expecting more activity within the next few weeks. I'll be speaking to the COs and XOs in Cohors B about activity themselves, as they really aren't too too active. Tsuki should be coming back into activity sometime soon, however I wish that he'd be more active that before. MISC.: butts [18:04:45] Ron Bleac: That's all! [18:05:01] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Next? [18:05:23] Ethan Schuman raises his hand for Astra. [18:05:47] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Schuman. [18:06:02] Ethan Schuman: Ho ho ho. I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Astra has been busy with administrative affairs this week. In preparation for 2012, we've done a massive structure shift, which I will describe now. For starters, the Wing Commander position has been eliminated. Aquila and Reapers will both report to Tactical Squadron command, as will Palaestra. TSCOM and Letalis will report to Astra Command. This, combined with a new set of document formats and reporting requirements, will help drastically increase communication frequency and clarity at all levels. All units in Astra, aside from Letalis, have had their leadership modified. [18:06:12] Ethan Schuman: Firstly, because we have eliminated the Wing Commander position, Sebris is stepping up to TSCOM CO, where he'll be able to fill that responsibility, as well as overseeing Palaestra while its new commander gets comfortable. As Sebris is also our new command successor candidate (3IC), this position will also keep him where he should be for that. Drasamax and Sebris have both been promoted to O-2, and Dras will be working as the TSCOM XO. Disembodied has been reassigned to a new position entirely. One of the weak spots in my command structure is documentation and administrative procedure. Disembodied is now serving as the Astra Administrative Adjutant, and he's already been quite busy. Xoza has been promoted to O-1, and is now in command of Palaestra. [18:06:25] Ethan Schuman: For the first week of January, all new unit leads will be given time to settle in and get used to the new procedure format, with things going "live" on the 7th. In addition, the Phantom will indeed deploy tomorrow for testing, and will (assuming nothing terrible happens) be ready to officially enter service on the 7th as well. These are the first stages of what is going to be a hell of a good year for Astra. See you all in 2012. [18:07:18] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:07:57] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? [18:07:59] Drasamax Python raises hand for the IEA. [18:08:03] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Python. [18:08:07] Drasamax Python: From myself for The Imperial Education Administration: Schola here and there with some graduates as result(did some teaching myself this week :P), couple Armatura, and a Ludi class held this week in the IEA. Schola Director position topic for Magisters is now closed. Mainly because Zero Itamae and I both have been a bit distracted this week by other things it took a bit longer to sort things out. But congratulations to Vain Composer our new Schola Director! :D [18:08:18] Drasamax Python: There is a Armored Academy class sign up sheet on the forums which is still open as it was not held yet. It can be found here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/15901-ordo-armored-academy-sign-up-open/ That is all from the Imperial Education Administration. Early Happy New Year as well~ [18:09:24] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:09:29] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? [18:09:48] Aryte Vesperia: LAst call. [18:10:17] Aryte Vesperia: All righty, moving on: [18:10:28] Aryte Vesperia: - Happy New Year! [18:10:47] Aryte Vesperia: As the title suggests: Happy New Year to each of you! Haha. 2011 has been very good to us—we have a lot to celebrate and a great deal to be thankful for. Greater than that, however, we have a very active and productive 2012 ahead of us. Without a doubt, our ambitious goals and commitment to excellence will set us up for grand success throughout the year. [18:11:41] Aryte Vesperia: In order to relieve everyone of the worry of defense, we will be secured until tomorrow morning. Drink heartily and have a wonderful night. Just, don’t start until the meeting is over. We have plenty to talk about! [18:12:02] Aryte Vesperia: - Winter Revisions [18:13:02] Aryte Vesperia: Over the last month, we have been hammering away at various projects included within the Winter Revisions. We had slated a significant portion to be completed by 1JAN12. Although we have made significant headway, we have fallen a bit behind on account of unexpected events (New Jessie, for example). As such, we will be expanding our goal time to reach to 01FEB12. I am confident we can continue the momentum forward, especially with the increased involvement by the officer staff. [18:13:49] Aryte Vesperia: For those of you curious, you can find a full list of prospective revisions under the “Imperator’s Atrium” section of the forums. As a side note, the new handbook version and style will be out this weekend! [18:14:19] Aryte Vesperia: Annnd moving right along. ~ [18:14:49] Aryte Vesperia: - ART [18:15:04] Aryte Vesperia: In order to make up for the lack of ART session last week, I will be hosting a sort of … “SUPER ART” at 5:00 PM SLT tomorrow. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. It will be a great opportunity to earn qualifications and demonstrate your prowess. White-berets, if you show up, I have a special task for you! [18:15:22] Daeshana Sapeur: Popcorn salesmen? [18:15:38] Aryte Vesperia: Again, 5:00 PM SLT tomorrow. Expect at least two hours worth of bloodshed and full arsenal deployment. [18:16:35] Aryte Vesperia: Next up. :D [18:16:37] Aryte Vesperia: - Zero Tolerance Period [18:17:04] Aryte Vesperia: As of 31DEC11, extending until 07JAN12, we will be entering a “zero tolerance” state. For those of you whom have been around, you know the drill. For newer folks: zero tolerance periods occur from time to time, aimed at keeping the group’s focus on core values. They are relatively random, but are instated most often after a new generation of members is entered into the group to ensure there is consistency across the board. [18:17:49] Aryte Vesperia: What does zero tolerance entail? Maximum penalty for infractions against regulations during the impacted time. This ZT period will focus on several core elements: I. Command duties; specifically, maintaining an OIC on base at all times. II. Professional demeanor; mutual respect of all members, controlled actions, and adherence to Ordo processes. III. Reckless discharge of weaponry; firearms must be used for combat or at the range. [18:18:39] Aryte Vesperia: ZT periods are not punishment, but part of our ongoing educational procedures. Personnel are encouraged to simply keep doing what they’re doing. You will be fine! Most of you, at least. :) [18:19:15] Linx Foxclaw: :< [18:19:43] Aryte Vesperia: - Keynote [18:20:05] Aryte Vesperia: This is a topic we have covered before, but I want to discuss it a bit further for the good of the team. Specifically: handling difficult defense situations and playing your part during the late hours. [18:21:35] Aryte Vesperia: Everyone has been in that situation before—new or old member. It’s 3 AM, you are one of a very few select members holding the line in Titan. Enemies, whether by intent to try to get a good shot at us, or by the fact we’re basically the only sim with people on it, decide it’s a good hour to come try their luck. The first reaction? “Oh god, not /again/. Don’t these people sleep?” [18:23:21] Aryte Vesperia: There are a few things to consider with this: foremost, we have the distinct honor of being one of the few—if not the only—military group with the ability to operate 24/7. That puts us into situations that can be a bit challenging, especially in the late hours. Most groups do not have this problem . . . because they have no one on sim, thus random attackers have no use to go there. Ergo, it is genuinely a mark of our strength to even be open for activity at late/early hours. [18:25:32] Aryte Vesperia: Secondly, despite the fact it can be pretty tiring, we should welcome the challenge and endeavor to overcome no matter the odds. Think of it from the perspective of a military campaign: it would be suicide for any group (or random attackers) to come at us head on. So they seek to try to bleed us in the hours we are sleeping. It is our one “weak spot.” But even then, it is hardly “weak” in comparison to others. It is an opportunity to present the excellence of the individual Ordo member. We excel at squad to squad battles, but we are also outstanding warriors on an individual basis. Let that shine through. [18:27:15] Aryte Vesperia: Anyone present during the twilight period has a very large responsibility. You are representing us, often times with very little reinforcements. Make the most of what you have. Stick to your basics. Use battle buddies. Stay cool. Give up one point if you have to, to hold the other two. Most of all: do not worry about the enemies embarrassing the group, taking videos, etc. Do your best. Fight to the last man and the last magazine. In the morning, we’ll counter attack and wipe whoever the offender is off the map. [18:28:20] Aryte Vesperia: I will never punish my late nighters for doing their best. I know how hard that time period can be. You do me proud every single night. It will level out over time, I promise. Once normalcy returns and the holidays fade, we do pick up more activity in the twilight hours. However, even then, you can still run into these difficult combat situations. [18:29:04] Aryte Vesperia: In short, fight valiantly to the best of your ability. Bleed the enemy. If you are available when reinforcement requests are sent out, head over! Even ten minutes of help can dramatically alter the battle. Many times, enemy will simply give up if more Ordo appear. [18:30:11] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, I want to send some major kudos to everyone who participates during those hours. If there’s anything you need that you feel would make you more successful, gear or otherwise, don’t be afraid to let me know. [18:30:26] Ron Bleac raises hand. [18:30:41] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Bleac. [18:31:57] Ron Bleac: Every night shift is no doubt important. The Ordo has a number of groups specifically for European or late night fighters. The first one was Opus Noctis, but I believe there's another one now. If you're the kind of guy who likes to stay up and shoot kneecaps/bust skulls, contact me and I'll put you somewhere. That said, every single time we're attacked during night hours it's like Custer's Revenge all over again, with less rape and cacti. [18:32:07] Ron Bleac: Oops, failed to shout. [18:32:16] Ron Bleac: Every night shift is no doubt important. The Ordo has a number of groups specifically for European or late night fighters.
