Set difficulty to master if you want. (In reference to your game breaking weapons ;p)
Should make it a little harder.
There are probably ways in the config to ratchet the rating over master, as well.

I wish I had 20/10, I don't even have 20/20 vision.
I hope someday we might be able to modify our photoreceptor density, or just be able to replace our eyes with synthetic implants. Hawks have 20/2 vision or so. Also most birds have 4 types of cone cells while the very large majority of humans have three. Where humans can see from red to blue/violet, they can see from red to ultraviolet.
Even perfecting the eye surgery process to allow 20/8 vision would be an awesome improvement.

I'm playing dead island using my x1600. Needless to say the graphics aren't the greatest (its a crappy graphics chip from 2005), but its fun, and even then the graphics aren't terrible. All the bugs I've seen are just funny little things rather than game changing.
The only actual bug that affects you is that if you fall on something slanted you don't take fall damage, which is actually pretty damn useful.
You shouldn't have any issues with durability of your weapons as long as you carry around ~two or three good ones with you and upgrade them fully. I have a high-voltage machete and a toxic cane knife, both at level 5, and I have a shock pistol at level 5. Also a great way to make money in order to afford that is just to get diamonds from that one lady if you give her champagne. Also later on certain harder zombies give you a lot more money. One time I picked up 2000 from a single strong zombie.
I'm not near finishing the game yet, though.

I carried around a rifle and a machine pistol and just picked up and bought as much ammo as I could for them. Both had silencers and both had the flechette targeting system, plus I upgraded them as much as I could with any upgrades I found or bought.
And I tried to conserve my ammo, too.
I generally didn't have ammo issues other than on those damn heavy weapons guys who take like 100 headshots to take down, so instead I just cloak until I'm behind them and take them down, but that takes nutrients. :(
You can also just try to sprint at them and take them down, but if there are other people around or they are too far away and they start lighting you up, it can be dangerous.

Yeah. I've had a family members computer go in the past from a lightning strike and it was only a couple weeks after they bought it. I felt sorry for them :(
Thats why I use an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
