The operation I'm planning to go to is Fulda Gap in NC. They had 1035 players last year. Probably going to be even more this year.

A few of the high end companies are making 'low end' guns. G&G has their combat machine line and its pretty much an injection mold plastic body with their high end internals. They are actually really nice and the plastic is strong, will probably not break as easily as most other guns. They are pretty inexpensive too, about the same price as Echo1

It's actually a Classic Army. I'm not much of a fan of TMs, nice guns but fragile imo. Plastic bodies and from what I hear some of the internals are plastic too. Only TM I own is my Glock and I got that on clearance due to the lawsuit from Glock about trade marks. I mostly use G&Gs.

Aside from actual firearms I play around with fake ones too! In all seriousness I enjoy playing Airsoft, for those who don't know what it is, think of paint ball but with guns that are 1 to 1 replicas of the real thing (not referring to the cheap garbage ones). Unlike paintball guns most Airsoft guns run off a battery, a gearbox and use plastic BBs instead of paint balls. Some run off gas, but those tend to be expensive and more for individuals who want a more realistic experience since they have some kick (not as much as the real thing obviously) and the magazine size tends to be realistic to the real gun. The 'hopper' is essentially the magazine, out of ammo, change mags, like the real thing. Airsoft is more military simulation than what you'd see in paint ball, you'll see people run in squads and use real tactical maneuvers to clear buildings, towns and even take out hostile armor. Some of the things are quite impressive, the community in NC would actually hire a Special Forces trainer to teach people tactical maneuvers and things like that. In fact a lot of guys who play are current military or Vets ANYWAYS, I used to do this regularly, I was a squad leader on one of the largest teams on the east coast, Task Force 16, before I had to stop playing due to work :( It wasn't the most super tactical team, but they got stuff done and had fun while doing it. Its where I learned a lot of leadership skills and how to maneuver troops in combat. It was quite fun. I loved doing ambushes and room clearing really would get your heart pumping because it was intense. I'm actually planning to go to a pretty big game in NC later this year. Heres a few pics of my two main guns that I use. Thats an old picture of my M4, in this pic the battery is wired and in the PEQ box. When I had it like that it was very front heavy with the metal rails and barrel. It wasn't very well balanced at all. Currently I rewired it to have a LiPo battery in the buffer tube. This not only took the weight off the front, but it also made it significantly lighter and easier to maneuver with. It makes the gun look much more realistic. It has a replica piston operated system, and that's a Noveske replica flash hider too (which actually has purpose on this gun than looking snazzy). This flash hider can make my gun sound louder which, surprisingly enough, is a good thing. It's intimidating, creates a distraction and catches people off guard. When I don't want to be loud I can turn it off. It actually has a blow back system as well, doesn't give recoil, it just looks cool and makes people go oooooh. I put a lot of work into this gun, I actually bought it to pimp it out as much as I could. The UMP is my baby. possibly the easiest Airsoft gun I've used, it's light and you can do everything with it. I have a whole list of guns though, I have an M16 DMR, M14, AK-74, Gas Scar-L, Glock and a "grenade launcher" pistol (its more of a big ass intimidating shotgun pistol). I can post pictures of others if anyone is actually interested.

I think the style and humor is inspired by ratchet and clank from what I've been told.

I'm going to be overseeing training and things pertinent to the quality of how our forces perform within PS2. I have already started this by posting OPS Review threads. These threads will act something similar to that of a combat report and will allow us to look back on our actions from an Operations in the past. These will everyone to look back and attempt not to make the same errors twice. This will also act as a platform for creating training for the Outfit. We already have two up from the past two ops. http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php/topic/19362-ps2-operation-recap-5-10-13/ http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php/topic/19372-ps2-operation-recap-5-11-13/ Further more! There will be a Training Operation, one of the first, happening all day on Monday. Its going to be a primarily Infantry only OP. RSVP On the calender will help me get an idea on whos going to attend. http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php/calendar/1-community-calendar/day-2013-5-13 More details are here in the actual event thread. http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php/topic/19369-ps2-training-operation-unleashed-democracy-may-13th/#entry152333

I haven't really done much to it yet. I want to eventually get rails for it and a new stock. Already replaced the grip with something a little nicer more comfortable and allows me to have inserts to store a few bullets or an extra firing pin.

One of my guns, most recent one I bought actually. I don't know if I actually posted any here yet. I have a few more. Mini14, Beretta Semi Auto 12GA, Savage Anschutz Bolt Action .22 (tactical black with banana mag ooh yeah) are my others. <3 my Bushmaster

Its combat mechanics are something i like,, but as of right now its lacking the charm the previous D&D mmo had. It might just be early for me though. I haven't really seen any traps, tiggers, puzzles, secrets nothing that really would make it stand out as a D&D game other than the dungeons themselves. Although it will have player created content which will be really cool once implemented

Seems kind of sudden didn't even realize it was released. I guess I'll install it and see how it goes.
-
I just created it. Poke me for an invite.
-
Let me see if I can create one. If i can figure out how... Or if the game will let me back on...

Checking the pre-order there seems to be only Xbox and PS3 :(

DOUBLE BARRELED SHOTGUN THAT SHOOTS STICKY GRENADES SADLY I CANT UPGRADE IT'S MAGAZINE SIZE AND BREAK THE GAME.
-
No they dont have a subscription anymore from what I saw. Also I got into alpha. I've been playing it the past few days
-
From what I've seen on the game's forums they already plan on nerfing the rockets and possibly more. The grenade launcher was hilariously over powered for PvE
-
Yeah I just got an email for that today.

I think Xoza has actual beta access since his invite was mid week instead of the week where the event is happening. That and he has the scheduled test times.

After looking into the game I stumbled upon a kind of promotional thing listed under the tab called "My Ego" Its essentially a 'Oh find these codes in our site and other places related to the game, bring them here and get bonus stuff in game.' So far all the stuff listed seems quite useful to have right from the get go. Extra inventory space, lock boxes, extra skill points, items that i think are weapons, a perk, and something called the TMW Hannibal 650R (maybe a vehicle). So I'm like well Ffff I don't want to go search for this crap, that takes time and effort that I don't have. http://orcz.com/Defiance:_Arkfall_Codes This website lists up to level 6 and I think they are updating it regularly. Worth the effort if you plan on playing the game later.

I've been beta testing this game for a while (it has a lot more content than it did way back), it can be really fun and has a ton of potential. I just hope the devs slip up content wise on release otherwise it will go down fast.

Makes me miss Invictus D:
