Get the wireless one. I've had mine for quite a while, and the replacement parts (Battery, charging station, and USB adapter) are cheap ($10-15).

*facepalm* Wow...really? AN should had labeled it differently.
-
Hmm...to have the same powers as the Q from Star Trek (Seriously, omnipotent beings).
If not that, then at least teleportation. Would save money on transportation.

Updated.

Congrats Tsume!

I don't mind it, but there's nothing quite like biking, so no. I can't wait. The fact I can never be held up by traffic, that I can just hop on and go and not worry about fuel costs, getting your knee down into corners, driving is comparatively boring.

Seriously, in Oregon, you can't pass like that. You have to stay in the lane and you can't laneshare.

Yeah...but the gluten-free diet is catching on, and since (to me) gluten-free means wheat-free...
-
Yeah, I can't, due to my allergy. Most beers have wheat in them.

@Cyphre: It's running Windows 8 (for tablets). My understanding is that it's the full Windows on that tablet (but go ahead and correct me if I'm wrong).
-
That's what it seems like. And to be honest, all 'surface' is, is just the Tablet PC, modernized.
-
I'd just, you know, room with myself like a normal person :[
That's what some do, and they end up with about a $600+ hotel bill.
-
Ahahahaha, look where that got you.
But seriously, Ffff MWO if they want to pull that kind of bullshit, I'll keep playing MW Living Legends, the Crysis mod.
Actually, to be perfectly honest, it actually got me runnling, with a few good items, on top of that, $240 is the equivalent of paying $12/month for two years.
Anyway, eh...they'll be criticized about it majorly.
-
It's more than that, Disembodied. $80 for the currency, $45 for three months (for your typical MMO) and $5 for all four mechs PLUS being in the credits.
Although, I did pay $300 for STO (but that included a LIFETIME premium account ($60 for Digital Deluxe, $240 for lifetime))

To be honest, Keller, United really should had comped you for at least a room, and a comp package (call card, voucher for discount on future flights, etc.) if they cancelled your flight and had you leave the next day.
-
From the hint that I got from my father...I could be going back next year. I will know more in December.
That...plus I have $100 off a ticket on Southwest, due to as an apology for the diverted flight and for being 2 hours late.

Person A also got mugged Saturday night. Normally I'd feel bad, but the circumstances of it were all because of his stupidity. He made himself such a huge target for someone. He could have only increased his chances of being mugged if he painted a bullseye on his chest and held out a wad of cash while holding a sign that said "MUG ME!".
Wait...did this person play a harmonica at one point in front of the Westin?

I have an ASUS eee Pad Transformer (TF101-B1). I actually did some basic video editing with the built-in software (*gasp* bloatware that...is VERY useful). The tablet does come with some VERY USEFUL items, including an office suite.
It has two cameras (one rear, 5MP and one front, <2MP), and both work for Skype, taking photos, video, and what have you.
-
There may be video posted as well, from me. Need to get it off the tablet first, and the videos may be unlisted.
-
I actually heard about the table-version of "surface." That's been out for quite a while. Plus I heard about the rumors about Microsoft having a tablet come out over the weekend anyway.
-
just saying, but this is something i would see on salem's phone, just saying
Um, ratchet...I'm pretty sure you mean desktop "accessory screen" (a small screen off to the side, made for a desktop) and not phone. >.>
I see the google glass project as a peek into the future, it won't be what the future holds for us, but we can expect something that is more utilitarian, something that will serve a purpose better than that of a cellular phone in some ways, but not all. And once the media industry catches on, those that have them will be bombarded with advertisements as they glance at billboards, and get constant recommendations about establishments as they walk by. Sure, it'll be neat to see a video about an up coming movie by looking at a billboard with just the website and the screen date, but it would get old really quick. Though, emergency messages could be more sophisticated with video and audio with that technology.
Oh, so kinda like what happens in Minority report?

Well said, Ethan.
I especially like how you also added in "apply this to real life" near the end as well.

I googled Orycon, and their website uses microsoft word.
I have doubts about how premier it is for a scifi con :|
They haven't updated the style of that website for quite a while. If you look at the ones for the specific years, they are MUCH, MUCH better.

The battery replacement kit for the G930, if you order it from Logitech, is $15. I have yet to order it, and I have had this for about six months.
