    I'd say that's a decent(ish) spec. Investing in the absolute best you can afford is ideal for the long run(it'll pay off). So perhaps go for something slightly out your budget? If you're into your flashy tech: http://www.dell.com/uk/p/alienware-17/pd. I just bought one! Also, I happen to be flying into Birmingham International Airport on the 26th. Freaky!
