Sooooo its time once again for a amazing Ordo give away!

This time the new DLC for Payday2 with new weapons is on the line.

So what you need to do to get in on this is, 1 Have steam, 2 Be a ordo member, 3 Sign up on this page.

If only one person posts that hes in then he will win it. If more then one dose it a random number generator will be used to pick the winner of the DLC.

 

For obvius reasons it would be smart to actually own Payday2 befor signing up for this contest and no you cant exchange the win for money or other dlc or game. Its a contest for the Payday2 garage dlc people.

So Bungie is thinking about making Destiny for PC

 

If Destiny is getting released are we thinking about making it a chapter or trying to anyway? Personally I hope they make it for PC, But anywho I was just wondering. Plus i couldn't find like a game proposal topic or anything.

i was sitting on my couch and suddenly my door opened and two little monsters all of about 10 years of age ran into my house. Before i could get up and head over to where the candy was they had already grabbed hand fulls of candy and were running for the door. I did catch them on my front step and took their entire bags of candy and went back inside.... of course their parents started banging on my door and saying WTF! When i told them what the little monsters did they not only let me keep the candy but beat their ass in my front yard... needless to say the next well behaved children that came to my door got a pillow case full of candy. 

With Titanfall coming out in March, I wanted to get a count of who else will be giving the game a shake. To those unfamiliar with it, its an upcoming FPS by the original CoD developers.

So a few RL buddies of mine mentioned this game a couple days ago, and I decided to give it a try.

 

It's your usual Dungeon-Crawler layout, with a multi-act storyline that's actually pretty good for a F2P game. The graphics are really well-done, the combat feels fluid and not very clunky, and everything feels essentially like a VERY polished and refined Diablo II. Not only that, but there's no separate servers either. The fighting areas and such are all instanced, but it's completely open when you get into town.

 

But the thing that REALLY got me going was this: (Edit: And even then that's only half of the screen. >_>)

 



 

THIS is a skill tree for a single class. The base classes they give you (Templar, Marauder, Ranger, Duelist, Witch, and then Siren and Shadow later on in development) are essentially just base concepts. You pick a class and they go "Okay, this is typically the stats that this character runs. Do whatever you want past that."

 

It's detailed to the point of being frightening. The game itself is developed almost entirely from community feedback, and so-far after leveling a Templar to almost 20, I can say this game has officially sparked my interest.

I'm 30, yes old I know, but try to make as much time as I can for gaming.

Been around games for a while so I'm not new to the basics. I used to play mostly RPG's but have changed genre's over the years to the coveted FPS.

 

I have a degree in Software programming and did a lot of beta testing in my youth. I've also debugged/duplicated mmo's and ran free servers of them.  I have even has some of my custom scripts published and used by some RPG's.

 

I've been gaming since before windows NT 3.0 if that tells you anything.  I know my way around computers fairly well, and know ways around quite a few programs.  If I can answer questions, I will.

 

Anyhow, getting to the point, I'm here to have some fun with everyone.

So, I was searching in the forums, and I didn't find anything about games on greenlight. So I thought it would be cool if we had an area where we could share and comment on those awesome titles that require help to get on steam.

It's still in it's early stages, and what the developers are aiming for is very well described on their videos. If you just quickly want an idea of what it is supposed to become, think of it as a space ship simulator adventure kinda thing, I would say like a more simple versio of the X series, but coop orientated. Have a look at it, I think it at least deservers your time.

I am currently looking for a handful of people who would be interested in participating in one of two things:

 

1. A more or less regular game of Vassal 40k. It's basically an online adaptation of the tabletop, but it's a tad behind in codex releases.

2. This is a BIG maybe, but we could get a Dark Heresy campaign rolling. This would require a lot more setup and time dedicated to it, but I believe that it could work out and be fun. Well, until rocks fall and entire party dies. No matter. 

 

As far as Vassal is concerned we don't need a specific amount of people, 1v1s are fun, so are 2v2s

 

For Dark Heresy though we would need at least 4 other people (besides myself) interested for the game to be fun and progress smoothly.

Hey there,

 

I have been here a few weeks, and the people are freakin' fantastic.  I enjoy our Teamspeak shennanigans (Hey Favre...).  I'm from Boston area, and I travel often for work (1/quarter) internationally, so I may be playing from my Surface Pro in Chile or India or Poland and such.

 

Anyway, the 55s I play are Dusker (GS), Evenfall (SH) at the pub, and Nyghfall on the impie side (OP).   I love PVP, having quite a bit of experience in it, and I want to get more into the ops side of things.  I look forward to meeting all of you :)

Time Used: ~5+ years.

 



 

The primary reason I bought this keyboard was the gamepad built into it. Second reason was because it was backlit. 

 

I've been using this keyboard for ages and It's one of the best investments I've made in Gaming hardware outside of my main rig itself. the gamepad is set at an angle where your hand naturally rests, and it has buttons layed out in a pattern that everything is in easy reach. I dont get much strain from this due to it's gamepad angle offset. Buttons are nicely aranged and I rarely have a missed key hit, and the stacked number keys is nice as I do not have to move my hand away from my movement keys to hit one of of the numbers above 6.

 

The Num Pad is probably the most difficult to get used to as the numpad also doubles as your Home, pgup pgdn ins and all those other keys. Your arrow keys are likewise mashed in there as well. You toggle between these two modes with the numlock key. Probably not too much of an issue for most instances, for programs that use those extra keys along side num keys, or you just happen to 10key your numbers, you can sometimes forget to switch modes. 10 key also takes a slight adjustment as the positioning of the keys is different.

 

The reason for mashing all that stuff together is to keep this thing from taking up even more space on your desk than it currently does. This thing is massive. Aprox 21" wide (53cm), but well worth it imo. 

 

The Keyboard does come with Software to do auto-profile switching, setting up macros, and all that other fun stuff, I choose not to use it. It's kinda clunky, and at times does not work too well. For most cases, simply using stock configuration and rebinding keys through the game interface works best.

For those where were from SL, I had a profile setup so that I could zoom my cam in before Right click Zoom was available on any viewers, as well as HUD/Weapon Gestures loaded where I wanted them on my keybinds. This really helped me manage the million different commands we had for all our stuff.

 

All and all I'd reccomend it to anyone who is considering some form of game keypad system.

 

 

Pros:

Comfortable and functional keypad for extended gaming

Completely programmable

Cons:

Larger than other keyboards

Combined numpad setup

Software not the best.

In the video it showed someone crossing the street. This game cant be real. If this was actually GTA online there would be no way to safely cross the street without being hit by a car or getting clubbed for looking like a whore.

I have my doubts. Multiplayer on GTA was a clusterFfff. If they keep it similar to the "do what you want" aspect, that video might as well have said "Heres all the things you -could- do, but you may as well forget that because a bunch of 13 year olds are going to do nothing but get in your way while they drive around shooting and ramming anything that moves"

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am the new probationary recruit. I'm 24 and a long time PC gamer. I've played many games both casually and at tournament levels. While my most played genre is FPS, I do enjoy RTS, fighting games, and occasionally the good MMO.

 

I have started streaming my games and as a side project, am working with several friends on developing our own jRPG. I'm also a huge pen and paper nerd (D&D, Pathfinder, Star Wars RPG, etc...)
