  1. Haruko sent me this game a while back. It's pretty neat! Seems like it would work really well as a mobile app though...
  2. I picked up Gunnars not long ago myself. When I moved into a new job, I suddenly went to being in front of a computer under fluorescent lights for 10 hours a day, causing considerable eyestrain after work at my computer. They noticeably helped in preventing the usual headaches. Only downside I noticed was my eyes getting dry after a while, but that probably would've happened anyway. Just make sure to search around and don't pay retail. I got them off ebay for like $50 when the stores were selling for $100. It's about the same price difference as buying Oakleys or other name brands from a store that sells sunglasses versus buying online.
  3. It sounded wonky and detached because they didn't sound fat enough. Like they hired abercrombie models to do fake gamer voices.
  4. I never quite understood the initial hype surrounding that 'game'. It's lack of pedigree was painfully apparent.
  5. Looks more like a cover-based shooter with sweet holographic interfaces. I know I can't wait!
  6. I suppose I do have a Wii exclusively for Monster Hunter Tri. Now if there was a Monster Hunter for another next gen console...
  7. Looks like they are trying to make it match up to the Metro theme they will most undoubtedly use in the UI. Not sure why anyone would expect much from any of them. Super awesome hardware that will be last gen by the time it arrives. And like every Sony release, I'll wait until the second generation PS4 to reap the rewards of cheaper price, smaller form factor, and fewer problems. PC 4 Lyf
  8. Bout time they added more frames. I kind of got bored sometime prior to the Steam release, and the sudden destruction of all the set ups I had previously before they switched to the other mod system.
  9. Seems they are already preparing for some open beta business. Open beta weekend coming up: Starting Friday February 15th at 12:00pm EST thru Tuesday February 19th at 9:00am EST OBT is projected for next month I believe. For those of you out of the loop, a lot has been added since the last posts in this thread. Update 6 brought a lot of new interesting things, but here's a nice concise list: -New heavy weapons: Scindo (battle axe), Fragor (big ol hammer), and Gram (Greatsword, which is just a large plasma sword currently) -Other new weapons: Dual Zoren (twin axes), Dual Heat swords (heat sword+heat dagger =...just good looking Dual Skana, unfortunately) -New frames: Nyx (psychic-based, mind control sorta of deals), Frost (ice-based, tons o fun). -Other new weapons: Boltor (bolto, but a rifle), Akbolto (akimbo boltos wooo!) -new Grineer 'mining asteroid' tileset. Fun new levels to enjoy! -Wallrunning! Both along a wall or up it. -Alternate helmets for all frames. Blueprints drop from random Alerts (with a "?" in the rewards section), or can be purchased with platinum. -Two additional planets, Ceres and Eris (which contains the bosses that drop Nyx and Frost blueprints). Enemies in the level 30-50 range I think, bridging that gap to Pluto -New skill trees for all warframes, containing 45 nodes (max level is still 30). Makes for interesting customization of your abilities, balanced out by choosing different paths for more of one thing over another. Most frames now have a possible 13 mod slots! Will make for some powerful frames with that many mods slotted. -Other changes to frames, including speed changes; Rhino, Frost, and Trinity are now a bit slower, while some frames are a little faster. There are now mods for Stamina max and sprint speed to balance it out a bit. Base armor and health values have also been changed, as those slower frames now have a base armor of 150, versus the 10 or 25 of lighter, faster frames. Stacking armor mods can yield 1 damage per hit on your health! -Gorgon now requires Mastery Rank 3. Hek requires Mastery rank 4 (either purchasing or using a blueprint). Probably a few other things I can't think of off the top of my head, as much has changed. Lots of little balance tweaks, such as new projectiles for the Bolto/Boltor series.
  10. Slow motion makes everything so pretties http://kotaku.com/5975217/6-gifs-from-that-striking-cyberpunk-2077-trailer
  11. I recall the first promo and was already psyched by the premise of an awesome cyberpunk game. It will be interesting to see what approach CD Projekt takes with what systems they've created so far, but something tells me this may be like 2015...
  12. Definitely a much improved system over previous iterations of the same technology. Now for some Quantum Entrapment! An intriguing phenomenon of superconductors and magnetic fields. />https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyOtIsnG71U But really, we need to hear more about miracles of lasers!
  13. That little TR is so adorable! Should slap an Ordo cross on his head and he'll be the mascot :D
  14. Not sure why you'd specifically mention logitechs being hard to clean. The only keyboards easy to clean are waterproof.
  15. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823126299 Done.
  16. Well if you've got a lot of time, read through Homestuck! www.mspaintadventures.com Other tech blog: engadget.com Gizmodo, Gawker, Liferhacker, i09, Jalopnik, Kotaku, and a few others are all essentially under the same umbrella and usually link each other at random. Gawker is probably the least safe in your case, but pretty hilariously written articles.

  18. Designed maybe, but I don't recall Higby working for MNPC tech, or living in Minnesota for that matter. The smurf colors burn my eyes like a Noobhammer on tuesday.
  19. Way I see it, they can't do any worse than Lucas himself with Episode 1-3.
  20. Er, dragging? Moto's Swype was not was I was referring to, but the incredibly predictive nature of other keyboards like SwiftKey (one of the top selling screen keyboards).
  21. If you haven't had good text prediction on an Android before, you haven't bothered using SwiftKey or any other on-screen keyboard.
