  1. I think it'd be nice to see a firing range exercise/test (Phase 3.5?) before the live combat. It's rather disconcerting to be thrown into the fire, and can be a bit harsh to those unacclimated to SL combat.
  2. I don't know about you, but when SL gets laggy, my stair-climbing ability is the first thing to go to hell, especially if said stairs have curves in them. D:
  3. Well, we could take the pouchs from the extras pack to customize it... or just sculpt brand new pouches to replace them and make them fancy like the outfit. :D
  4. Yeah, the elevators are handy. In the heat of combat, it'll be rather difficult to climb up stairs, especially if we're being besieged by a laggy military like the GR. An elevator may have some performance issues, but it's more reliable then trying to run up a circular staircase while being pelted with dozens of orange prim-dodging bullets.
  5. There's no 'Navy' part of the Imperial Guard. Basically, Titans are their 'Lets royally screw things up with really, really big guns' equivalent. The guys in the picture above are their typical crewmen. As for the Imperial Navy... I can't find a picture.
  6. I like the AT-43. It is a bit top heavy, but it reminded me alot of WH40k's Princeps and Moderati. Simple, effective. Like others have said, the Navis don't need particularily heavy armor on par with Terra's Medium or Alpha's Heavy armor, though marines could possibly make use of a variant of the Medium armor. I could see that working, sans helmet (or with an optional helmet), for Navis crewmen. As for that GoW image suggestion, that's way too heavy. That'd be a suitable Heavy armor replacement, if anything.
  7. [13:19] Ruin Nefarious (COM): omg this pistol sux no blowback. [13:19] Zrazor Rozenstrauch (COM): OMG DIS PISTOL DOES NOT LAG I H8 IT D: [13:20] Keller Teichmann (COM): NEEDS MORE SHELL CASING ... [13:20] Syl Kiranov (COM): Okay guys I'll fix it. Next version will shoot casings but not bullets.
  8. A fancy new keyboard A new alarm clock New ice skates Around $300 in giftcards A lot of pajamas.
  9. One thing I noticed: You also need to fill out the password field, otherwise any changes you make simply get undone.
  10. I'll show em laggy low-performance wepon. e_e *starts copy-pastaing rez-slave scripts into his Groza*
  11. I have a first gen Nano. No idea how the heck it still works, but it does.
  12. I was planning to go, but passport/NEXUS issues, not to mention being laid off as an early christmas present threw that off.
  13. I have a copy of it sitting around somewhere. When it comes to retro RTS, Total Annihilation is my choice. I never did beat Battlezone II.

    Blub!

Heya. Newcomer to the Ordo Imperialis, so I thought I'd make a post introducing myself. I'm, as some already know, a sharkfur (specifically, shark-dragon) who's been on the grid for just over a year. Been looking around for something new to do aside from clubs and fruitless building endeavours, and Dagger recommended the Ordo. I've only been here for three days, but already feel welcome. I'd also like to thank the Schola Magisters who took the time to run me and Zero through the gauntlet that is Schola, as well as the various people who introduced us to combat in Phase 4, along with Sosarin, Dagger, Nevin, and numerous others for making me feel welcome. :D
