  1. From the looks of things, they've been taken care of. Many of the bugs in the mod come from faulty origins, which rendered the ironsights for all but one of the guns (the bullpup SMG) absolutely pointless, as well as the physics engine, which had a tendency to turn your barricades into giant missiles at random. That's another thing. The game has NO crosshairs aside from ironsights for certain weapons, so make sure you learn where the center of your screen is!
  2. This game's one me and Euro have played a few times, back when it was originally a Unreal 2k4 mod. The basic premise is a zombie survival game, akin to L4D, but angled towards a more defensive game. It's often advisable to make a stand instead of constantly run ala L4D, and the game gives you the tools to make barricades and weld doorways to funnel the enemies into chokepoints. Rather then facing a horde of uniform zombies, the 'zeds' in KF are broken up into 9 distinct specimens, each of which is more dangerous then the last. Many of them have unique abilities, and despite being cannibalistic monstrosities, work together to make things miserable for you. Alone, you don't stand a chance, and teamwork is the key of the game. Unless you think you can handle 120 zombies all on your lonesome. Ten times over. The game also includes a leveling system, with 6 different 'perks', each with 6 levels, carried from server to server. This allows you to customize your character and allow them to specialize in certain areas of the game. Support class lets you weld doors faster / stronger, lets you carry more weaponry, and gives you more capacity. Medics can heal faster, Commandos detect hidden 'zeds', Sharpshooters get a 'critical hit' bonus, and Berserkers run faster and can take more damage. Not only that, but each class specializes in a weapon class, allowing you to do even more damage with a certain set of weapons (16 in total). It's currently on sale on Steam for $14.99, and will be activated in 5 days as of this posting. Reason I'm posting... does anyone else in Ordo have this? Its cheap, and even in the mod's buggy state, I enjoyed it far more then I enjoyed L4D! Killing Floor on Steampowered
  3. The first five results for my name are all related to me. Images are weird. A whole lot of scary people and college professors.
  4. If you've heard the Gnarls Barkley mash up with that song, it's even better. I had one up on YouTube, but it got taken down. :c
  5. I actually think the grenades are much smaller then what the Manual states. Stickies are likely 7m in radius, but there's no way the current grenade blast is 7m. 5m is generous. I've also used them once or twice in New Jessie without issue. c_c;
  6. Uhh... a more accurate question might be what DON'T I listen to. Aside from gangsta rap and extreme metal (and country) I listen to pretty much everything. Favorites? Muse - Supermassive Black Hole http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfdjcjjQLdA Muse - Sunburn Mastodon - Oblivion I could fill up an entire page, so I'll try not to post too much. :B
  7. I have part of it downloaded, just don't know what else needs downloadins.
  8. What Anlysia said. Can't remember my password. :c
  9. YEESSSS. Though I do play One Must Fall 2097 now and then. A pity the 'sequel' sucked.
  10. There actually may be a slim possibility of me being able to go this year. I only wish I knew I had the money that I have, so I could have booked a room or something months ago. AC2010 however is a sure thing.
  11. I do admit it was rather entertaining to read, I just feel like some of it admittedly went soaring over my head. I tend to keep myself grounded more in 3d modelling and shader languages then in philosophy or mathematical equations (which is vaguely funny because shader programming does involve some mathematics).
  12. I'll put it this way: This is what my brain is on this topic.
  13. Given that it looks like even High Command has no idea what's going on... Maybe some mid-ranker MC decided during his turn as SoG that there'd be no Ordo visiting, and, like some twisted version of the phone game, ended up in the next OIC assuming that this was new policy, and it all went from there? It's the only route I think that has any logic, it doesn't make sense that Militant's HC would go 'Ordo stole my soldiers' when we haven't even taken on a single ex-MC in the last month plus.
  14. Actually, textures are even easier to rip then prims. MUCH easier.
  15. Unfortunately, it works like crap. I've seen five, and not a single one was capable of going through half a belt (12 shots) without a horrifying jamming accident. :c
  16. ...Have we even taken in any MC of late?
  17. Currently hammering out weapons at a fairly absurd rate. Currently the only delay is texturing, which I'm working on. Current Weapon Projects Tavor TAR-21 Build: 80% - Texture run. OTs-14 Groza Build: 80% - Texture run. AS VAL Build: 80% - Texture run. Other Projects Terra Adiutor Masks Build: 90% - Tweaking and texturing. STALKER - Sphere-12M Helmet Build: 50% STALKER - Tactical Helmet Build: 50% STALKER - Steel Helmet Build: 80% STALKER - Respirator Build: 50% Completed Projects Spectre M4 Mk2 - Complete Build: 100% FN F2000 Mk2 - Complete Build: 100% FN P90 Mk2 Build: 90% AA-12[]b] - Complete Build: 100% Antesignani Negev Mk2 - Complete Build: 100%
  18. I have pieces of a motorized plasma rifle sitting in my inventory somewhere, ditto with the plasma cutter. Both are on hold until I've made a significant dent into the jobs I already have in line.
  19. I don't know about you, but I take it as a personal insult that he decided to up and leave Ordo, without saying a peep to anyone, and then went and joined a group he knew was on terrible terms with the Ordo. Especially since he was one of my squadmates, and especially because I trusted him to know better.
  20. Yes, but it's much more difficult and time-consuming then ripping things off of the ground.
  21. Well, the eyeblink replacement script that Faril has is -much- more efficient then the original script, and can be safely used without even wearing the Kani HUD. It also adds more colors. 'sides, the only reason you'd need the Kani HUD is if you're constantly changing emotions / ear positions, as the eyes themselves can be controlled via the /1 listener, so really, it's something that shouldn't be constantly worn. That right there, for half the Ordo, is an easy .2 - .15 off. Last I checked I hovered around .175 WITH the eyeblink still intact, albeit with only one weapon instead of the XAR9 + P99.
  22. Phillip Hultcrantz and Tarasia Bravin. Presumably, Sirus and Diablos will be Chaos in a couple days. :B
  23. I had to write my Film Study final paper on Plan 9. I could only watch it in segments, because it was so horrible I could not stop laughing at points. Even Kriswell's contradictory opening segment nearly brings me to tears. I also had to watch Robot Monster, but I am of the opinion that Plan 9 is on a completely different level, so terrible that it becomes comedy. In fact, just about any of Ed Wood's movies could take the cake for 'worst film ever', only Plan 9 is the only one that's so bad it's funny. The rest are just awkward. I did see Stalker, based on Roadside Picnic, but it was not entirely what I expected. I think Shadow of Chernobyl kind of diluted it, at least in terms of story. Still an enjoyable watch however, excellent cinematography throughout. As for Equilibrium, that one I don't touch. I love-hate it, love it because of the story and action scenes, but hate it because, well, the actors were too good at showing no emotion.
  24. What Agares says. I'm constantly on the forums, they're actually my homepage of late practically.
