The No-Entry parcel eats the one that goes to the build zone. Also, sometimes you just need to get out of the build zone, but the new sim builders removed Keno's undoubtedly high-prim ramps.

Leave it as is. [Ordo] Is for gear and bullets. [OI] is shorthand and not ver professional, ~OrDo~ is retar---.. Im sorry... "special needs". I have to be politically correct.

Ok, since the epic Juli-vator seems to be getting stuck, I slapped together an elevator/thrill-ride. Its a ramp at the bottom of the build zone that drops you into a hole, on top of the elevator pad. Click the pad (if its not red), and it launches you up. When it stops, get off using the ADA-approved disembarkation ramp. The ride lats about 1 second. The elevator is one way only. To get down into the build zone... Jump. P.S. There is no music. Deal with it.

Milk/Dairy/Mint/Buick- Bunny! Do not leave us! :< Oh well you will still be building for use so we haven't seen he last of you. c.c

Um.. Wow. Thats an uncalled for and unneeded statement. Its also untrue. How about you go edit that out. More importantly. I don't like the Armalite system. 1) A new weapon should not have an Armalite gas system if we expect to see some improvements during active combat use. 2) Another continuing trend the US needs to stop is shortening the barrels. Yes. We need short weapons for CQB and Urban combat, but when you shorten a barrel you reduce bullet stabilization, and reduce accuracy and effective range. (Geee... this sounds like the exact concept of a bullpup rifle. :D) 3) Stopping Power. Honestly I think the change from 7.62 battle rifles to 5.56 assault rifles for everyone was kinda dumb. I'd take an M14 over an M16 any day. Yes. its 4 lbs heavier. Yes, the magazine is "only" 20 rounds. Yes, those bullets will drop a target for sure with two rounds. Yes, those rounds can penetrate stuff and still be lethal. Yes, that M14 is accurate and lethal to about twice the range of the M16. Problems: Weight. Price. Reliability. Stopping power. Weight is something that, with a longer barrel and studier weapon, will increase. More material will do that. There isn't much avoiding that, and when the change is within 1 pound, you may have to bite the bullet and deal with it. Its worth it for a better weapon. Reliability: This is easy. Don't use the Stoner system. And before anyone says anything, No, stay even further away from the Kalashnikov system if it is in an AK.. Your reliability comes in your weapons ability to preform in shitty environments. even more so in SOCOM. The M-16's system is trash. The Kalashnikov System in the AK's is inaccurate a s piss (though the bolt system in a weapon with better manufacturing (machine receivers with high precision), like the RK, and when modified such as in the Galil, it is a good valid system). Other, newer systems, such as roller delayed and lever delayed blow back (HK's G3's and related weapons, including MP5's, and the Nexter FAMAS) show higher reliability as well. The AUG's short-stroke is OK, and the Tavor's unique long-stroke system is preforming flawlessly in the deserts since its use in the IDF began (Tavor is also water proof, and can be fired immediately after being pulled out of water). Basically: Short stroke or long stroke. None of this direct-pressure crap. Long stroke is great if the kick can be kept under control. Stopping power: Well, if you don.t want to use a full out rifle round and want to stay with an intermediate cartridge, then you fall into some odd situations. NATO says 5.56x45. Warsaw says 7.62x39, or 5.45x39. Independents say 6.5, or 6.8. While the 6.8 has a very good idea from performance terms, I don't see the US changing from the NATO rounds anytime soon. So the one thing you can make do to keep the power of the round you have available. Keep a barrel long enough to power it forward and make sure it is stabilized. Long barrel lengthens rifle>? Well, not always. Bull-pups anyone? Price: Well fuck. The new high-tech stuff is not always the cheapest. The cheapest is usually crap. Then there is the happy middle. However, in some cases the happy middle isnt as good as the top end. So its another balance. Basically, If you are going with a 5.56 then your best bet is to look for a bull pup to save overall length without sacrificing barrel length. The problem comes then with training, because no bull pup will allow you to keep M4 training. Cost can be a bit offset by allowing all ammo and magazine to be re-used (Provided you didn't chose the AUG, which has proprietary magazine, or requires an adapter)

What happened that made this sudden change? o.o

Start with the original series "Mobile Suit Gundam". If you don't like the full out war of it, then switch to G Gundam or Gundam wing. However, I don't find those to be as awesome.

Cowboy Bebop: A classic anime series that is just amazing. Wolf's Rain: From the same studio as Bebop, and also exceptional. MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM A FANTASTIC Set of series, though some are much better than others These are the epic ones, that deal with war. They are listed in order of how they fit in the Universal Century (UC) universe: Prequels: Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO: The Hidden One Year War Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2: The Gravity Front Main: Mobile Suit Gundam Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack (Movie Only) Mobile Suit Gundam: Unicorn Mobile Suit Gundam F91 (Movie. The Suits here get a drastic size reduction) Mobile Suit Victory Gundam (Again, Much smaller than normal suits.) --------------------------------------------------------------- Mobile Fighter G Gundam A stand alone in its own universe. No guns, and gundams are used for World-Cup type tournaments. People fight with Chi and other crazy power stuff... Its almost like Dragon Ball Z in some ways. Its a bit to emo and "OMG I LOVE HER BUT SHE IS EVIL" etc for me, but some of the suits are cool, and if you are more into giant fighting robots fighting with varius styles of martial arts rather than various types of guns, then check it out. Each country uses a style unique to its nation. (Example, the French uses fencing, the American is a boxer, etc) --------------------------------------------------------------- After Colony Universe Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Now your main characters are a set of 5 younger people (teens to mid 20's) who are guerrilla fighters against an evil dictator. They have guns but their suits are so stupid OP that they mostly just massacre stuff. Some of the suits are neat, but would get ripped to shreds in a real war. Heavy Arms and Wing would last (Wing is pretty much identical to Zeta Gundan in the UC time line. --------------------------------------------------------------- Cosmic Era Universe Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny These series are ok. The CE era deals with a racial supremacy via those who have genetic enhancements and those who don't. --------------------------------------------------------------- Most of the Super Bad-Ass mobile suits are seen in Universal Century, such as Gouf, Zaku 2, Gundam, GP02, EZ-8, Full Armor ZZ Gundam, to name a very few. However, HeavyArms and Heavy Arms Custom from Wing Gundam is a fantastic suit as well.

Spectre and Negev were both just rebuilt and rescripted. They are the only two pieces of gear in alpha squads old enough to need it. Yes. Every auth is recorded when and where. Thats how Astra can :/ at you if you rez a plane outside of Ordo events.

Havent played that since I realized people were idiots... cant be worse than TF2 though so I will give the update a look!

Nothing was ever noted to me, and this inst a thread for "well I did this" or "I do this" its a general information thread about what needs to be improved.

So lately I have run into some issues with small bugs. Very small things that are the exact type of things my eyes miss while coding, and that beta testers are there to catch. The problem is they aren't getting caught. Basically I suggest we make a role in the group for dedicated beta testers, people who are known as a trusted source that weapons can be handed too when in beta and wont just be used once then ignored. The biggest issue I have seen with testing is that many people don't put weapons to real tests, but rather just fire it off a bit then say "Oh its fine" and then ignore it. It doesn't see heavy lag testing, live combat testing, ect. Basically, I'd like to see a bit more formal definition of what is ment by "here, beta test this for me" and get a bit more picky on just who gets to be handed the new shiny weapons that are in beta. 1. What is Beta Testing, and what is required by the tester? Testing means driving the weapon to the edge, doing all sorts of crazy shit to it that no normal person would ever do. This isn't because we think we have people buying our weapons just to break them and then slander and scam us. Its about quality, and making sure that if someone does some freak sequence of events or command, the gun wont stop working on them. Good testing includes vigorous handling in all environments, which means using the weapon as often as possible. In many cases, it may mean using the weapon as your primary means of fighting for several days, or even a week. Obviously If you are testing a bolt-action rifle, lugging it to a full out CS assault wont work, but give it a try on lesser attacks and defenses, and use it when ever you need to shoot something. Make it your first choice for battle while you test it! Some of the best things to do while testing are the simple extremes: Spam commands at the thing, rapidly pulse your mouse button, run in circles while firing. The simple things are easy to test, but often over looked. The prime example of this is melee attacks, as sometimes small things like a misnamed kill-prim will cause mass issues. (This is what happened to the TI Beretta 92FS Re-Script. I named the kill prim one thing in the script, and there was a small difference in the object's real name. No one bothered to test the melee on the pistol, so it was overlooked, and was found about a day after release.) 2. Bug reporting! Bugs happen! And if you find them, reporting them is one of the most crucial steps in getting them fixed. Now, a report does not mean IM'ing the scripter and going "Something is wrong with the <insert name of weapon>". That doesnt really help the scripter with anything, as they don't know where the bug is, what it does to the weapon, or what causes it. Instead, be thorough with your reports. here is an easy guide to them. --------Bug Report Guide-------- Ok, so you think you have found a bug in a beta weapon. Great! That's your job. Don't be afraid to report it because you think the scripter might be offended or take it personally. Its their job to fix bugs, and no bugs equals a better end product, which is better for the company as a whole. Step 1) Make sure its a bug. Sometimes, chat commands or other settings are changed without your knowing, and it might look like a bug because you don't remember doing it. Before reporting a bug, make sure it is repeatable. Try doing what you did again, and if it causes the same problem, then record how you caused it and go on to the next step. Step 2) Document all you know about the bug This is fairly simple. Open a notecard, title it "Bug Report: <Name Of Weapon>", and put the following inside: -Nature of the bug: What does the bug do to the gun? ex: "Gun wont sling. Locks up." -How the bug happened: What were you doing when eh bug occurred? ex: "I tried to sling the gun while firing and the gun stopped responding to commands and controls" -Repeatability: Were you able to repeat the bug more than once? ex: "I reset the gun and attempted to sling it while firing, and it happened again." Step 3) Send the report This is the easiest part! Open the scripter's profile and drop the notecard in! That's it! If they weren't online, drop them an IM when you next see them on to make sure they got it. -------------------------------- ---How to improve things--- It may sound like a bit of work, but the simplest way to make sure we have good testers is to record who does it well, and get back to them in the future if they do a good job. -Take applications/volunteers for testing. If they are in good standing, and you know they are in combat a lot, they should be prioritized as they are more likely to use the weapon in combat. -Pay attention to the testers and see who is using the weapon. If they aren't, ask why, though if the situation is something obvious, dont bug them (IE. Dual wield automatics. They aren't allowed to use them, so obviously they cant use them both at the same time during Ordo stuff.) -Make note of who finds bugs, and who does good bug reports. Even if they didn't use it in heavy combat, if they have a knack for finding bugs, they are a good choice for the future. So yeah. That's some comments and thoughts on what needs to be done to improve our beta testing. No gun is perfect off the line, and most of the time its the small things that get over looked. I had an entire gun lock up on users when they tried to draw it after slinging it because I forgot TWO WORDS in the code. Two small words. One massive massive bug. Yet none of the testers found it. Another example is the first issuing of the HellGun, which lacked melee because the script was looking for "OI_Melee Kill" and the object was named "OI_MeleeKill". GG spacebar. ~Tsume Xiao

Mercz used to use a lancer for their main rifle, and alot of people copied it. c.c

AUGs have an integrated vertical grip. Also, the mounting system for an M203 look horrid on an AUG, just as it does on all bull pups but the F2000, which has a special rail system for it, and the L85, which uses a special integrated handguard to mount the L17A1, which is the AG36.

Updated. All new armored equipment added. Old stuff updated.

WHAT?!?! WHY IS TAVOR NOT LISTED?!?! WHERE IS MY JEW GUN!?!? In all seriousness. We already have 4 shotguns (or 3? Keystone didn't want the W-13 finished or something, while we lack modern AR's that dont look like ass (We have the AK5, M4AXE, Rec-7 is ok), and our SMG's could use more variety. AR's and SMG's, I find, also sell the most as they are the most versatile in combat. HK416/417: This would be difficult due to the massive competition. MTG, GunPorn, and Omega Concern (at least) all make sculpted HK416's with lots of attachments. While the scripting in theirs isnt that great, if we are going into that price bracket with a gun that already has 3 established sculpted entries, Its going to be hard. Franchi Spas-12:Chunky, Bulky, and over-hyped. Its also pretty damn ugly. Combine these with the fact that we have all but one of the household names in shotguns covered (We have the Mossberg, Benelli, but lack a Remington 11-87 or 870), makes this an odd business choice. Maybe later, but for now other options will prove more valueable to the company. TDI Kriss: Only about 2-3 on the market, and we can build off the LOL COD6/MW2 craze. Also, Its the TDI Kriss. The "Vector", which is short for "Super Vector", and also called "Super-V" is the name of the recoil system. SiG 556: Not as well known as the 552, but its different from the usual stuff seen built. That will either be a help or hindrance. You can kinda get the ideas from the AK5. Its not a common weapon, but if it sold well, then a 556 could do the same. Its a very modern looking gun, but without some aftermarket rail system wont lend itself to lower attachments like UGL's and vert grips. AUG: Always a good choice. Its the second bullpup (Enfield beat it with the EM-1 and EM2, the guns that the SA-80 family is based off of) ever created, first to be put into mass use, and is known by LOL I PLAY VIDEO GAMES THEREFORE I KNOW GUNS" people from as far back as the original Counter-Strike. Also, its a bad ass weapon with some gorgeous curves. The A3 variant would offer the most versatility for attachments. As for attachments. UGL's are the most combat practical because they actually do stuff! Eotech Holosights: Even if they don't know the name, people know the shape. They are also top notch for Holosights. ACOG: Famous, Badass, and unlike EOTech offers magnification. Supressor: TACTICOOL! Red-Dot: Are we talking closed ones like ELCAN and Aimpoints? Or Open like reflexes? If closed, Use where ACOG is not fitting, If Open, use where EOTech is silly (SMG's) Just some input!
