Theres no crime and no security guards in Papua New-Guinea, Ron? Unfortunately one cannot simply look past the menu, as the limitations on the number of weapons you can have in your inventory as well as how many you can quick switch to is fairly limited. Durability makes this frequent unless you are always running back to a repair bench after a skirmish (who then respawns after you've left the area). Guns I've found are most useful against 'Punks' in the city hub. With the starter pistol from the resort, they take one headshot and they're down. Then you can simply take one of their automatic pistols with far superior stats (depending on your level at the time) and plenty of ammo. Haven't seen any firearm mods though.

All the bugs so far have been happening to random people. USB sound is unbearable, multi monitors causing failures, crashes abounds, noclip was just a Y key away, etc. Some people had no trouble at all, while others simply couldn't play it, and since they already admitted their screwup, no one is looking into anything directly related to video drivers or sound. It wasn't anything to do with the 360 version, I don't recall who was to blame in particular (developer or publisher), but they uploaded the wrong version for Steam which was an older developer build. The game itself was built alongside the console version, as the story goes, but yeah, it still feels very console-ish, as there was the intent to have people using a controller on their PC. Combat is a bit more varied with the analog stick controls they put together, but a little silly when it comes to selecting different weapons that could be on a base bar to be selected by the number keys like a regular first person game. Coupled with menus and options that clearly don't favor the PC crowd, and it definitely looks like a port. Though I suppose you could more blame the inexperience of the developer itself, as I don't recall anything else [of significant value] currently using the Chrome Engine. Graphics are... okay. I guess you could say, at the very least, the facial animations are better than Deus Ex? Otherwise shaders and lighting are a tad out of date, and those are sort of key to a game that is meant to instill some sort of zombie crisis as well as a paradise island.

Oh no, be quite thankful of that. We're still waiting on an actual major update release because they uploaded an older dev version of the game. Bugs are numerous and annoying for many, and hopefully they'll have it updated by the time its live elsewhere.

Well no, its nothing like FO3. Chopping limbs is sort of important against the larger foes you're up against (thereby preventing them from hitting you at range). In general, its the kicks that will be necessary, and the good old-fashioned headstomp to finis them off once you've unlocked the ability. It does get pretty gory, though I am somewhat disappointed at the overall graphics of everything. Although I knew not to expect much when first running it and DX9 runtimes came up to install first for Steam. The weapon mod system is nice as well, where you take any pre-existing weapon that is compatible (like large bladed implements for the Shock mods, or blunt wooden instruments for the flame mods) and it modifies that weapon you already have with additional elemental properties.

The canned shouts aren't quite in the annoying territory like Dead Rising. At most, you hear stuff from people inside safe houses about current conditions, but you don't really stick around safe houses long enough for it to matter. I haven't really tried killing any NPCs, but I'm sure anything dies if you hit it with a truck, and I believe there is an achievement for killing humans? Dismemberment is what it'd be deemed. Arms, legs and head all come off, though there is more detail to the larger Thugs, where it may take additonal hits to remove their arms. All blunt instruments have considerably higher 'force' and are pretty adept at smashing heads altogether. The only real problem with its current setup is you can't kill many things with the same item due to durability. Maybe I'm just not that far in the game or something, but the likely route everyone takes is simply picking up a nice knife/cleaver or other sharp instrument, and picking up boards, pipes, or paddles for general beatdowns that are easily disposable and throwable.

Its definitely entirely free-roam. Not sure what you mean by random NPC shouts. They have canned phrases depending on if you are nearby, or are indicating they need saving or have a quest to give.

Having tried all the weapons, the SMG is pretty worthless damage-wise in comparison to everything else. An upgraded 10mm pistol headshots anything faster, and the flechette targeting system sometimes just doesn't plain hit the right spot. It also has identical range (as noted by the range of the laser in use). So long as you have the laser sight, the gun is more accurate than ironsights at any point in time. I think the heavy rifle guys are bugged slightly. I came to find that while if you tried, it would either take a hundred headshots, OR you could simply toss a concussion grenade and suddenly they were just as easy as everything else to kill in the head. I tested it a few times, especially with the SMG, assault rifle, and pistol headshots against those types, and a concussion grenade or thrown item was all it took to make them just as vulnerable as everyone else. Although in general, like that video, if you've got the arm augs, any large object becomes an extremely deadly weapon. Picking up turrets is what I found most fun. Hack a turret and toting it around like a portable bulletproof minigun.

The guards in Hengsha are easily avoided entirely, or saving the guy at the start of Tai Yong Medical and you save quite a bit of time (which is altogether too convenient, so I think that was just thrown in there). No, it really has nothing to do with playstyle. The game doesn't provide any significant amount of ammo, and dying is pretty quick with even a second or two out of cover. Should perhaps try that challenge yourself and see if you can make it through Give me Deus Ex by killing everyone. Headshots also don't kill the heavier equipped guards, for that matter, so its a mix of using concussion grenades and mines a swell as choice armaments. Silencers at least help to not alert everyone.

Not killing anyone? Been there and done that. Even easier than killing everyone, including the police station, which is what I did on my last playthrough. Going through the game using stealth is a lot easier than brute force run and gun. Anything above level 3 hacking I don't recall being necessary in the storyline, just additional weapon caches and sometimes back entrances. Cloaking defeats lasers and all security systems. The three bosses are the only things you HAVE to kill, everything else, including the very end, can be taken out with multiple tranqs (and necessary for the achievement). Gas grenades knock people out entirely (not sure on all types of guards), and EMP grenades take out all boxguards/turrets/robots/cameras.

Like torx? Definitely looks good.

Im looking for a good long range rifle...

In regards to being 'as modular as an AR' it doesn't really apply to boltguns. If you wanted semi-auto, the M110, or other .308 armalite platform would be to your liking, as an M14 EBR is a bit pricier a beast. If you're looking for 'long range' you may want to step up to .338 Lapua magnum, though the gun prices themselves start a bit higher than the .308 and below crowd. Ammo costs are a bit higher if you're not a reloader, but at least not at the same level as .50BMG or other proprietary long-distance cartridge. Savage Arms I believe makes a somewhat affordable model. The Barrett 98B/MRAD is a little out of price range. Trying to think of other brands, but the names escape me. Although I suppose a better question is, how much are you willing to spend on glass? Are you factoring $2000 total, or just the gun itself? -
COMIC SAAAAAAAANS!!! *shakes fist*

Well I knew there was an issue with the wakfu registration itself being a completely white page (though hovering over the right side indicated a location to input the key) but wasn't aware the same was the case with acquiring a key.

These numbers aren't intended to reflect what someone actually paid for the games, just what the total portfolio is worth. The majority of pre-sale games, for instance, are 5-10% off 'retail' price.

You do have to make sure you've set your profile to 'Public' so it can read your list of games.

you can't get it from here? http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/wakfu/

'Violence' is relative to population density. Studies have shown there is no relation between weapon ownership and injury or death by those implements within any given region.

http://www.wakfu.com/na/mmorpg Currently in 'closed beta' but beta key can be acquired from fileplanet. Isometric 2D in a sort of Disgaea type turn-based combat system. Live ecosystem type of system where wildlife and plantlife could go out of control depending on how the player seeds an area with different types of plants or animals. Entirely player-driven economy, including minting the coins themselves. Variety of trades, decent selection of classes with element-based combat abilities primarily. Built-in playerhome type of system, and different 'cities' that you become a citizen of at the competition of another city. Haven't gotten too far myself, but its fun!

The other notiable problem is ignoring the basis of current 'polygon' technologies like Normalmapping, that have been around for quite some time. Their examples were pathetic and severely lacking. I mean come on, an example of not rendering additional geometry is a single-sided mutant cactus in bulletstorm? Everything they showed in the preview indicated they were doing the same; standard geometry, normal maps, and textures (as opposed to actual lighting). Convincing a government of burgeoning technologies in the works isn't new, either. :P -
Yeah, and I'm not even close to Yoko, Anlysia or Julia XD
