  1. Hahaha! And we would have to deploy with P99's otherwise it would be an unfair advantage. Banned the mercz? Banned the AN? Can't imagine who they have been fighting all this time in practical isolation. Should tell Bruno to get out more, see the world! Oh, well I suppose that would require soldiers for that...
  2. It's not so much "what happened a year ago" It is "what has always been for over a year now" so for those of you without the past insight of Ordo relations, this isn't really much of a step that we haven't already seen attempted before. It has also been said more than once that Bruno has 'changed' or matured in some way, but far be it from me that different people incite different reactions at different times. If there is ever to be a future engagement on their base, we can start taking bets on how many minutes until someone cries 'swarming' or whatever else they invent next.
  3. ^ Will soon feel the pain < Has a headache from weather change v Knows how to play the recorder
  4. Woot! Welcome to the wonderful world of paperwork! :D
  5. Okay, so for clarification, all Aeternus are allowed to wear their previous uniform, however not armor for Enlisted.
  6. ^ wants to kill him for starting this thread < Is ever stoic v Is going to say something stupid

  8. They're called midcaps. Require no winding (like hi-caps) and can hit upwards of 200 rounds. Also more plentiful and cheaper than stock mags normally. Hi-caps can hit something like 600 depending on the gun (and thousands in drum mags and the like). Gas came WAY before electric guns. Electric has just become more common due to simplicity and ease of use.
  9. More satisfying kill? Messy, can hold fewer rounds, cannot reload as fast, does not feel like a real weapon, alternatives to hoppers are meh. The guns themselves make a wide array of noises, and there is already a gas version of the standard armalite format. Other companies have already innovated other ideas and they sound far better than any paintball gun.
  10. All of which are already restricted in their usage, so beyond that is fairly pointless. All you would be left with are occasions where such weapons are allowed for usage against an intended target and no one would really know off-hand who is and isn't allowed to use it in the first place.
  11. Larger games do just fine, as I have attended some of the largest every year. Referees aren't entirely possible in the fields where we play, but aren't necessary in the least. People bitch and moan and complain no differently than paintballers have about calling hits. The difference being that there are those who simply do it for enjoyment, as milsim isn't a competition.
  12. As mentioned, heavy weapons are already restricted in their deployments as it stands. It isn't an issue of heavy weapons, its an issue of restricting usage of outside weapons in accordance with equivalent unlocks. Jetpacks are another issue similar to heavy weapons and explosives; they aren't necessary most of the time, nor should they be used all the time.
  13. When blood seeps through their clothing >:) In airsoft, there are no referees purposefully calling people out who have paint on them or something. It isn't necessary becasue the people involved are honest people. Dishonest people get ostracized like they should be. :3
  14. Trevor, its not exactly abuse unless we were all restricted to some lower standard, like a pistol (semi-auto, low capacity) to where the 'rich' would have some advantage by purchasing outside weaponry for use. That, and they all generally function the same in this realm, so deviations are mostly cosmetic.
  15. You would have to ask them yourself for details, as was put forth that they themselves stated they aided in its construction.
  16. No Tsume, that would not be a task suited to you :3 Damn it Trevor! Shhhhhhh!
  17. Bad idea all around. Attempting to limit outside weapons employed? Already done to the degree of OIC discretion on usage of 'overkill' sorts of armaments, as mentioned. Beyond that, everything else is within the same general class of weapons issued from the start (SMG/AR). Further limiting the weapons people can employ that are not standard Ordo issue - purchased with their own funds - would not lead to anything enjoyable. Part of the beauty of SL linden-based damage combat is being able to use a wide array of weapons from all over to best suit your needs and aesthetics. Even though this regulation would not effect me and a good many others, it would lead to absolutely nothing positive whatsoever.
  18. There is definitely only one side. Mazzy left, started a military, while the other 7 who left were building this military while still in the Ordo. THAT is why it is treason in doing so. Had they left prior to creating or joining such a thing, it would not have made a difference.
  19. Nameplates with an indicator for online AND for on-base mebbe :D (just link the other to mercury or something). Would definitely put the huge empty walls to good use!
  20. Somehow that is what I imagine what SL was like when it was a mere twinkle in Phillip Linden's eye (or whichever Linden it was). Doodling in crayon, at a loss for slaves to script for him.
  21. Best part? Spinny clicky logo at the end! :D
  22. Wow, Xang, Demo, Timmahy... a different era! I think I saw a few hoomans in thar too! :O
