  1. ~ORDO IMPERIALIS~ OFFICIAL DOCUMENT <=====================Extend to this length=========================> <===========================================================> **********Meeting Report********** NAME/RANK/DIVISION: Dascede Aluveaux, Vexillarius, Terra Antesignani ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DATE: Mar 28 2009 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUBJECT: Weekly Ordo meeting. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUMMARY: Right after an IS-wide counterattack, the Ordo meets together in the war room. ============================================================ CHAT LOG: Introduction [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Let's get started. [18:00] Sera Otoro: meeting about to start [18:00] Dragon Massiel: No time for Shenanigans! [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Welcome to the weekly meeting. [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: I am happy you could all make it. Imperator's Report [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: . . Database is down! So I have no clue how many apps we took and denied this week. I do know we accepted several. [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Capn, Detox, Xegras. [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Welcome, welcome. [18:01] Desereck Creeggan: Detox?! :D [18:01] Capn Robonaught: => [18:01] Keystone Gray: Here here. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Sitting stable at 220 members. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: We should be sitting at 222, and will be after I actually reinvite SirNick. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Oops. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia makes a note. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: No losses in members this week. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: So awesome, very good there. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Combat . . has been incredible! Ha ha. Constant defense operations and several major offensives. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Especially today! Wow. More on that during keynote, however. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: All in all, it's been a great week. I've been very pleased with progress. Lot of work being done administrative side, so division reports may be a bit short. Divisional Reports [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: On that note, let's go ahead and move on to those. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Volunteers? [18:04] Keystone Gray: Navis. Navis [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Keystone Gray, for Navis. [18:04] Keystone Gray: Navis has the following to report this week: [18:05] Keystone Gray: Yesterday, Navis held a divisional meeting, and it brought upon some great, progressive results. Ideas were explored, and we did get quite a bit to think about in terms of development of our role as a fleet division. Currently, staff is having talks about how each idea presented is implementable, and their viabilities in combat. I'd like to extend a great thanks to everyone who attended, especially Invictus. Your support is amazingly beneficial. [18:05] Keystone Gray: Navis is also reconsidering our assigned role; the combat community has changed substantially in the last few years, and as such, fleet isn't generally accepted or allowed in much of the community. As such, we're entering a transitional period in which we will be looking for more ways to enable our deployability in combat. [18:05] Keystone Gray: (We may make a Kanaki-Catapult to flatten our enemies) [18:05] Keystone Gray: As of now, we're seeking a huge supportive role no matter what we decide to expand upon. This means that any new weaponry or tactics that come from our reworking of our division will, as a rule, be aimed at supporting Terra and Astra directly in the field of battle. We will be very much in tune with everyone else's opinions. We will remain constantly a fleet division when the need arises; this just means we're looking at other, more inventive combative roles. [18:05] Keystone Gray: Divisional status: We have remained pretty steady with our member count. Lower than other divisions, around 20 members at any given time, but growing very slowly. We're working on it! [18:06] Keystone Gray: That concludes the report. [18:06] DamionStJames Webb raises his hand to further chime in as well. [18:07] DamionStJames Webb says "I just wanted to take this time to thank all of Navis for being so patient with me and training. I'm still comming up with some advanced training for the rest of you, an I'd like every navis personelle member to be involved, including officers and praetorians." [18:07] DamionStJames Webb: That's all I have [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Very good, thank you. Terra [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Astra, Terra? [18:08] Lestat Umarov raises hand [18:08] Heather McKay raises her hand. [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Lestat, for Terra. [18:08] Lestat Umarov: My report for Terra this week will be somewhat brief, as I don't want to sound like a broken record repeating the same things as last week. [18:08] Lestat Umarov: To start, development was been going well all around. Antesignani is getting a bunch of new equiptment and Sera actually found the Predator tank she had been working on which she thought had been lost when her inventory got wiped. [18:08] Lestat Umarov: From fulminata I have this statement from Hunter Abrams: "Fulminata is ready for recruits we have our training outline done and I am currently looking around for potintial members. All we are wating on is gear so we can update a few things" [18:09] Lestat Umarov: And from Endra for Invictus: "Invictus has filled its final spot (Congrats Silver) and has started joint training operations with Navis. Our first session, held this past Wednesday, was a smashing success." Antesignani [18:09] Lestat Umarov: I'll report for Antesignani since agares isn't here. There's been a lot of development for the squad. We have a newly scripted Field gun called the Onager, as well as several tanks in development. Which will be fielded I can't really say off hand. Terra Staff [18:10] Lestat Umarov: On the Adiutors, we're currently dormant and regrouping as I work out the new standards with the rest of the staff. I will not be accepting applicants until we're ready so don't ask until I make a forum thread about it. [18:10] Lestat Umarov: Finally, Lupus has submitted a finished overview of his accuracy training academy. I havn't got a chance to read the whole thing as of yet but it looks promising. [18:11] Lestat Umarov: That concludes my report for Terra. [18:11] Keller Teichmann raises his hand, reporting for Armatura. Armatura [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Very good, thank you. Heather, for Astra? [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Actually, go ahead Keller. Since you're Terra. [18:12] Keller Teichmann: I'm reporting on Sekonda's behalf, since he had to pass out. Armatura's latest training program has been developed and has had a few test runs in the last week. [18:12] Keller Teichmann: A few of you have seen the new killhouse in Ratin. The objective is for a person to run around the course as fast as they can; the word of the Imperator is "It's fun." So give it a shot, just ask one of the Magister's to take you there and run you through it. There are trophys to be won for breaking the time records. (The current record is 23 seconds I believe) [18:12] Keller Teichmann: The five phase training has began and cadets will be given a more diverse training opportunity. A few positions are open in Armatura for instructors and those interested in joining should drop Sekonda an IM. That concludes Armatura's report. [18:12] Lestat Umarov: Oh! [18:13] Lestat Umarov: I hold the high score on the killhouse. [18:13] Keller Teichmann: (on another note, Irish grammar is awful. D: ) [18:13] Samia Perun: actually [18:13] Samia Perun: Mizar smashed your record Lestat [18:13] Samia Perun: sorry :/ [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Ahaha. [18:13] Lestat Umarov: ;o; Astra [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Astra? [18:13] Mizar Korobase: >.> [18:13] Heather McKay: OK, this will also be a brief report. [18:13] Heather McKay: First off, I want to welcome Desereck to the Apostles, I look forward to his help in training the new Astra cadets. [18:14] Heather McKay: I am proud of what I have seen in terms of air defense this week, still a few bugs to work out, but it will get there. Need to work on low-altitude defense. [18:15] Heather McKay: I also would like to congratulate Kronus on obtaining his wings, congrats there, and welcome our newest Astra member, Xegras Xue to the division. I'm sure everone will give you a warm welcome to the division. [18:15] Heather McKay: That concludes what I have for Astra, Fermi, would you like to add anything for the Apostles? [18:15] Fermi Torok: Nay, that about covers it. [18:16] Desereck Creeggan raises a hand to add upon [18:16] Heather McKay: Oh, Desereck has some things in the works, I neglected to mention, but I'll let him explain. [18:17] Desereck Creeggan: Astra has been progressing smoothly over the last weeks. I am drafting up new events for Astra to do on the off time and hopefully the Astra Event Committee will be restarted and fueled up. [18:18] Desereck Creeggan: Anyone in Astra who would like to contribute are free to. Navis/Astra and Terra/Astra joints are also graviously accepted proposals [18:18] Desereck Creeggan: Thats all I have to add. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Very good, thank you [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: . [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Any other unit reports this week? [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent. Keynote Topics Old Business [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on then. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Any old business to bring up this evening? [18:19] Mizar Korobase raises hand. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Korobase. [18:20] Mizar Korobase: Just a note that I've returned, and resumed control of my octet. I've already submitted a report to Sekonda. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Welcome back. Glad to see you on this side of the dirt. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Any further old business to bring up? [18:22] Silver Meridoc raises hand [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Silver. [18:23] Silver Meridoc: Thank you Aryte, just to announce, the Ordo Documenta akak Imperial Courier group is ready, anyone interested in joining to help create this newspaper IM me after the meeting were we can talk about organizing articles for the paper that should be started soon [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Good to hear, thank you. [18:23] Blaze Wiles raises paw [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Blaze? [18:25] Blaze Wiles: Just a Quick Question about the Killing House, will other divisions be able to go and use this or is it solely Terra's domain, I ask because I'm a long time 22nd Reg SAS student, just curiouse [18:25] Samia Perun: Im happy to run anyone through it [18:25] Samia Perun: Just ask and ill take you up [18:25] Blaze Wiles: Thanks [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Great. :) [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. New Business [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: All right, on to new business this evening. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Remarkably, I myself only have two topics. You can thank the massive enemy attack that distracted me before the meeting, ha ha. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: First up, I'd like to talk on that battle. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: It's really worth bringing up: I am extremely proud of you all. Even Kanaki. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: You did extremely well, handled yourselves brilliantly. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: It is incredible to see such fluid movement in large scale: over forty people participated from the Ordo. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: We counter balanced defense and two combat fronts abroad, with varying targets off and on. Combined with the Merczateers and EU, the enemy's intent to cooperatively attrite our positions was thwarted. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Special kudos to Inoue and Samia, who handled the offensive leads while I bounced between all three points. Keystone, thank you for managing defense. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: It is great for me, as an officer, to know I am able to simply say "you take care of this," knowing I can go on to another problem or situation while it is handled without incident. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: It speaks highly of our NCO and officer staff. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: So really, congratulations and good work today. [18:31] Samia Perun: Thank you sir, but the thanks must go to my team, they worked perfectly and like clockwork [18:31] Samia Perun: im proud of them [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Very good, thank you. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: And on to my next topic. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: I plan on--plan, let me underline that--having Terra command appointments and a solid Schola outline complete by Tuesday. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: I've been a bit bogged down with class, but free time this weekend should allow me to catch up. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you all for the patience! [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: You're all being easy this evening. Haha. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Opening up to general session. Any topics to discuss? [18:33] Syl Kiranov raises hand. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Praetorian Kiranov. [18:33] Syl Kiranov: A bug has popped up in SL's latest server update (1.26) which is causing mono scripts to drop time dilation drastically when they initialize. This means that mono-compiled bullets, explosions, etc. are lagging many sims to death when they're rezzed. I'd like to ask everyone to make sure you have the latest version of your Ordo gear which is recompiled for the old LSL VM to work around this... the SCAR-L, P99, Adjudicator, Nemesis, and Thanatos have all been updated. I'd also recommend that people follow our weapon guidelines so we don't see people using a lot of random third party guns with mono bullets. Anyone who scripts for Ordo can feel free to IM me for more info about this to make sure our gear is lag-free. [18:34] Syl Kiranov: tl;dr version, update yo' gear. [18:34] Inoue Katsu: i got something to add to that [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Centurion Katsu? [18:36] Inoue Katsu: i think i'll have something ready in a week or so that we can just push a button and push new equipment versions out to whoever we want in mass [18:36] Inoue Katsu: its getting hard to keep track of all the equipment versions right now, as i noticed again earlier [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Oh perfect. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Inoue. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic? [18:39] Silver Meridoc raises hand [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Silver. [18:40] Silver Meridoc: This will probasbly be best to talk after the meeting with you sir, but id like to make mention of a proposed unit for Iunvictus/Navis, to save time, id like to go into detail after if possible, Gulliver and Keller are also assiting me with this [18:40] Desereck Creeggan raises a hand. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: We're planning on a Navis think-tank session after the meeting. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Desereck? [18:41] Silver Meridoc: thank you sir [18:42] Desereck Creeggan: I cant remember entirely if this was stated last week, but I'd like to say it anyways. When objects are left out, its entirely annoying to see random arrows pointing to them saying "RETURN ME". It leaves the person returning objects with more to return, and also a bright glowing arrow sticking out like a sore thumb. [18:43] DamionStJames Webb nods in agreement. [18:43] Desereck Creeggan: Calling someone who has return rights is much easier, and effective, and if no one is around to do that send a message to the owner of the objects, telling them where they are. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: I agree, thank you. [18:43] Tiridates Mikadze raises his hand. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: We do have a significant, active estate staff. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Tiridates? [18:44] Tiridates Mikadze: Thank you, sir. [18:44] Tiridates Mikadze: I'd just like to remind you all of the importance of information security. While seemingly arbitrary, there are those forces at work which desire to aquire and exploit any lapses in our security, and as always, the first line of defense lies with each of us. If you aren't sure if something is safe or not to talk about, then the best bet is to not say anything and ask someone who would know at the soonest possible point. Together, we can protect the Ordo. [18:45] Tiridates Mikadze: If someone asks, say you don't know, or that you can't talk about it at that time. [18:45] Tiridates Mikadze: Thank you, again. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Tiridates. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic? [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Nothing further? Final call. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: I get the feeling there's a string of tiredness going on after the fight, haha. All right, moving on. Promotions [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: On to promotions this evening. [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: I've got an incredibly short list tonight. We had a very small amount of recommendations. I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone on our promotion practices: [18:49] Aryte Vesperia: If at any time you feel someone is worthy of recognition, promotion or merit wise, simply write up a short reason within a notecard and send it my way. It's necessary to get it in before 3:00 PM SLT on Saturday. [18:50] Aryte Vesperia: Promotion recommendations are reviewed regularly and a list is compiled. [18:50] Aryte Vesperia: Keep in mind a promotion or merit can be denied for various reasons. Among which, the minimum time requirements found within the handbook. [18:51] Vinnie Lei raises a hand [18:52] Aryte Vesperia: It is important to remember promotions are not compulsory. If you're concerned that you're lagging behind, it may just mean the command staff and your peers haven't seen enough progressive attempts from you. [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: Likewise, many times, it may just mean you're probably going to wind up recommended next week or the week after. Ha ha. [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: Vinnie? [18:53] Vinnie Lei: Is there feedback when one is accepted or denied after submitting such a recommendation? Like the reason or why or just simply the note being shredder through the shredder ;p [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: If you actually write your name in the recommendation, yes. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Some units do promotion routines in special cycles. Navis, for example, has staff meetings. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Terra commanders in their individual Cohors typically refer members of their unit. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Et cetera. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: However, you're always welcome to recommend a peer or someone not in your unit! [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Having said all of that, let's move on to the list here. [18:55] Vinnie Lei: More like I recommend Discens Bob getting promoted E-3 but you think he's been E-2 for a too tiny time. do I get to know tht, or just shredded? [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: I usually will get back to you, yes. [18:55] Keystone Gray: Bob is a Triplicarius. [18:55] Vinnie Lei: Okay, thank you sir. [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Ah, that reminds me! I did post a new promotion exam on the forums. So go check it out. [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, this week's list: [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Gulliver Carpool - [O-1] [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Keystone Gray - [W-2] [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Faril Iredell - [E-2] [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Silver Meridoc - [E-4] [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Pancake Waffle - [E-7] [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Aaand that's the tiny list this evening. [18:57] Desereck Creeggan: Gratz Gulliver! [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Congratulations and well done. I'll be passing out and setting paperwork for the next twenty minutes or so. [18:57] Desereck Creeggan: And everyone else :D [18:57] Lupus Mielziner: congratz to your promotions [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: So spread out and do your thing. Sim'll be open soon. [18:57] Samia Perun: /sak [18:57] Samia Perun salutes "Gentlemen..." [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Have a great day and good work! Officers, meeting tomorrow, remember! [18:57] Aryte Vesperia draws up his arm, snapping a fist to his chest to provide a salute. [18:57] ribena Homewood salutes! [18:57] Mizar Korobase presents a sharp salute! [18:57] Vinnie Lei salutes. "Ich liebe es wenn ein plan funktioniert.." [18:57] Rei Kuhr salutes. [18:57] Silver Meridoc salutes! [18:57] Heather McKay salutes. [18:57] Kronus Gaffer stands attention and salutes [18:57] Kraa String places his hand on his chest in a proud salute [18:57] Blaze Wiles salutes! [18:57] Aryte Vesperia shouts: dismissed.
  2. More. NeonDas.bmp Neon abstract-like image. Love how clean-cut the lines turned out. Did this last year. S'a little hard to make out, but it's a castle. =D That's about it that I can dredge out of my hard drive. More to come!
  3. To start off with. Sorry if the thread is hard to load. Did this one just today. I have to be really delicate with my shading, even with hard lead like #2. My hand tends to smear my shadows a lot. :C Did this one quite a while ago. Making sunsets and blending colors with the most inhibited tool ever is incredible irksome. The dragon sillhouette in the sky was easy enough, though. Did this one around the same time. You can tell I wasn't really happy. It's another sunset. The water's hard as hell. Trying to figure it out; it's extremely hard to draw water. Did this well over a year ago and it saved wrong. Probably my shittiest portrait ever. LAWL. This is a much more improved version of it. More in replies. =D
  4. Take note of what Samia said. I dunno how many people want to listen to metal and rock that will make ears bleed.. I like good rock and I can stand the metal but I don't know if everyone can.
  5. I shall help. Because I have Winamp. And a varied taste in music.
  6. Jessie War Journal: Dominatium and the Unity Coalition - A New Beginning "Olympia Exonar: Ok, Okay. So, please tell me more about UC, the Unity Coalition. What is it exactly ? Amory Gears: The Unity Coalition is a treaty, a covenant signed by other militaries which are determined to fight on our side against the Iron Symphony. In exchange for their support, we provide them with equipment and sometimes even funding." What is this? Have we another anti-Iron Symphony alliance to put on the boards?
  7. I'm in for Antesignani task force.
  8. Heheh. Sci, IM me sometime and I'll talk to you about pirates..
  9. "Secondly the issue with them being there and not being able to be used it pointless whether we have over 9K in prims or not and the reason its pointless is cause they are being rezzed un-necessarily, every prim thats un-necessarily is and issue whether You think it is or not." Decoration never hurt. A few unused vehicles isn't really a problem, and a featured base makes the opponents and allies more envious of what we do. They don't have to be used to have a point, really. As for it being an issue.. well, nobody else seemed to be having a lot of trouble with them being there. o.O;;
  10. The Lone Ranger and Tonto went camping in the desert. After they got their tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep. Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says,
  11. Introduction [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: This will be as brief as humanly possible (like 9 hours, ahah). [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you all for coming. :D [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: We'll go ahead and start with my weekly report. Imperator's Report [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: I'm happy to say we're sitting at 224 members: two currently AWOL due to account issues: Eazy101 still owes Linden Labs 5 dollars, and Tandem Destiny is awaiting his account to be unlocked. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: We will be cutting roughtly 4 inactives after the meeting- - I posted a list of folks who've not been around in ages. I checked with them all, and, most replied "still interested, just busy!" [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Which is incredibly awesome news. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Application wise: I don't have a definitive number. The database was off and on. Looks like about the normal: a couple accepted, nine or so denied. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: We do have a couple new faces with us this evening. Ash and Ivellios. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Welcome. [18:04] loki Cramer waves [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Combat has been pretty high and awesome. Defense actions have remained ridiculously more active than usual. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Offense has dipped slightly, but that'll be remedied without issue. I look forward to a productive, busy week. Spring break and all that. [18:05] Mikael Khalamov: Hurk, I'm in the floor [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomacy abroad has been a little shaky with recent JWJ commentary, but that'll be covered in keynotes. The IS is strong, our alliance is strong. Nothing to worry about there. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: All in all, I am very pleased with progress this week. You've all done fantastic. Divisional Reports [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: We'll move on to division reports now. Volunteers! [18:07] Sosarin Demar raises his hand. [18:07] Ethan Schuman: me raises hand. [18:07] loki Cramer raises hand Astra [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Sosarin Demar, for Astra. Go ahead. [18:07] Sosarin Demar: The Nemesis v0.6 with the modified lagless bullets and other features has been released. I want to thank Praetorian Syl Kiranov for hopping on it and updating the Nemesis in an instant! I want to thank Astra personnel for being patient while it was in testing. [18:08] Sosarin Demar: Astra held a meeting this week and discussed a few items. Namely the training regimen reform, where it was suggested that drills simulating air attacks on Titan (essentially group dogfighting) be incorporated as a requirement in finalizing flight training. Again, Triplicarius Fermi Torok has been overseeing the training regimen reform. [18:08] Sosarin Demar: We have a few people in queue I would like to see finished up. Schedules and activities have been conflicting, hence their being stuck there. [18:08] Sosarin Demar: Finally, reform of Astra's structure seems iminent in some fashion. Or, at least how information is handled. Since we've condensed into two flights and cannot maintain anymore than that at present, how command functions operate need looking at again. Namely, where warrants play into the equation. [18:08] Sosarin Demar: We'll look over these forementioned items as the new week progresses. End report. [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: I am very pleased with Astra's efforts. Thank you for overseeing and keeping the division on task. And definitely, thank you Syl for being a proactive development help. Navis [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Ethan Schuman, for Navis. [18:09] Ethan Schuman: Navis has the following matters to report this week. [18:10] Ethan Schuman: Firstly, we've had an increase in both activity and interest, and this pleases me. DamionStJames Webb has held multiple training courses, and participation in those has been good. It is likely because of this that interest in Navis has spiked. I've heard numerous people speak up regarding the possibility of either joining Navis out of Schola, or transfering from their current division. To those of you contemplating transfers, let me say this: We'd love to have you. While our numbers are small, we're growing, and there's plenty of room for eager pilots and go-getters. Thanatos bombers can't fly themselves, you know. With regards to activity, I had wanted to mount a joint Invictus and Navis raid this week, but that never materialized. Hopefully this week will be different. [18:10] Ethan Schuman: Secondly, our new armaments are up and running in their respective vendors. I've received a lot of questions regarding this, so I will go over how to get the weapons out of the lockers. First, some of you have asked where the Thanatos can be picked up. It's in the same box as the Admonitor. Yes, I know the hover text only says the Admonitor is in there, but that's where you can get your Thanatos bomber. Don't forget, you'll need to get Mercury authenticated to fly the Thanatos, as well as use the gunner attachment, so be sure you get in touch with either myself, or another officer if I'm not available. You MUST remember to get authenticated. [18:11] Ethan Schuman: I'll now go over how to get the Navis guns, since a LOT of people have been having trouble with the weapons vendor. FIRST, get your keycard. For the Battle Rifle, check Navis notice history. For the Tier I weapons, declare your path to an officer and request your card once assigned. For Tier II and Tier III, you'll have to get approval. Once you have your keycard, attach it. It will attach to your upper left HUD by default. The card MUST be attached in order to work. Then, activate your Navis tag. Go to the vendor and stand within 5m of it, and click the card. If you followed these steps, you will receive the weapon corresponding to your keycard. Here's a quick checklist to follow: 1) Card is ATTACHED. 2) Navis grouptag is ACTIVE. 3) You are standing within whisper range (5m) of the vendor. [18:11] Ethan Schuman: If you follow all these steps and still cannot get your weapon, send me an IM and let me know. ALSO: I should make note that the Navis weapons are available (and will authenticate for) Praetorians, so any Guardsman who wishes to have access to the Navis armaments should contact me to get the keycards and a Navis invite to use the vendor. [18:11] Ethan Schuman: Thirdly, we have some absences in our staff right now. Keystone Gray is out of town as of today, so please hold any notecards meant for him until his return on Monday. If they are of urgent nature, I am available to handle issues myself. DamionStJames wants me to let everyone know that we're also still looking for more trainers, so those who are interested should keep this in mind. These positions are not limited to current Navis personnel only, so those of you that are considering transfers may factor this into your decision. I myself have been busy working on Titan Industries development matters, so I haven't been around much. However, I am available through IM most of the time, so feel free to contact me. I'd also like to speak with all available Navis and Invictus personnel in Ventrilo at the conclusion of the meeting. [18:12] Ethan Schuman: This concludes the Navis report for this week. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Navis has really taken the turn towards a strategic bomber element. To be honest, this is an enjoyable change. I look forward to seeing the updated and functional fleet portions, however. As always, major kudos to you and your staff. It's important to realize how far you've come. [18:13] Ethan Schuman: Thank you, sir. Terra [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Terra? [18:13] Lestat Umarov: Sekonda? o.o [18:13] Sekonda Huet: I'll be doing the report for Lestat, he had expected to be absent and denoted the responsbility of the report, but he's here, but this is easier. [18:14] Sekonda Huet: Antesignani has three positions available which they are looking to fill, Training begins on Monday following the schedule posted on the Terra Forum, there's also a new artilliery weapon in the works for Antesignani. Nothing of note within the Cohors including Fuliminata and Invictus bar my desigination to Cohors C, Century 1 Command. I basically took Firefox's old job. The Adiutor's are due for a shake up, some positions are open and clarification as to it's duty will be announced soon along with some aspects for aquiring unique gear for the Aduitors, Lestat said something about stormtroopers. [18:14] Titan Industries M468 [script:..main]: Script run-time error [18:14] Titan Industries M468 [script:..main]: Stack-Heap Collision [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: (Lol) [18:14] Lestat Umarov: lmao [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: (Whoever's gun just errored, IM me.) Armatura [18:14] Sekonda Huet: There's also a purge of inactive members and cadets in Schola who have been contacted about continuing their training. Lots of spring cleaning. Armatura has updated its schedule >>> http://tr.im/h1wc <<< with two new instructors taking classes, Dascede and Samia. Zrazor and Tandem are no longer active on the schedule but can help out with the range and training when they are around. Armatura is developing training at the moment to include everyone not in an Alpha Squad, not just cadets with more frequent combat training and large scale raid training, one of which I hope to hold tomorow similar to the large scale Titan Raid two weeks ago. It'll be announced on the forums tomorow. That concludes Armatura's report. [18:15] Sekonda Huet: And Terra. Adiutor Staff [18:16] Lestat Umarov: I have something to add regarding the adiutors. [18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Go a head. [18:17] Lestat Umarov: At the suggestion of the imperator the Adiutor Staff will be taking on a role of doing unit inspections for the whole of terra. Their task will basically be to rate the effeciency of the squad, general appearance, and any discrepancies they may find. [18:18] Lestat Umarov: I also have something to add later for the group, but it can wait. [18:18] Lestat Umarov: That concludes my report. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Great, thank you. I have additional comments on Terra in the keynote. Ordo News Team [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Any other divisions care to report this evening? [18:19] loki Cramer raises hand [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Loki . . this'd better be serious. [18:20] loki Cramer: id like to throw out the ordo news idea [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Go ahead. [18:21] loki Cramer: i was thinking it would be neat to have a weekly video we can possibly conntect to the website where we can have clips of attacks updates on what has been going on maby interviews with the different heads of the devisions ect [18:21] loki Cramer: "ordo news the only news you need period" [18:21] loki Cramer: that is all [18:21] Gulliver Carpool: ONN [18:21] loki Cramer: yea [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: INS. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Imperial News Network! [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Haha. [18:22] Lestat Umarov: YEEEESSSSSSS!!! [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Er.. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: INN. [18:22] Desereck Creeggan: LOL [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: INS . . [18:22] Desereck Creeggan: I was like... S...? [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: You get the point. [18:22] Sosarin Demar: I like ONN. So you can say "Ordo News. IT'S ONN!" [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Syndicate. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Haha. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Shh! okay! [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on! [18:22] Ahnoh Echegaray: Iperial News Syndicate Keynote Topics [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Any old business to bring up this evening? [18:23] Inoue Katsu: you can start now .. im here >.> [18:23] Vinnie Lei raises hand [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Vinnie! [18:23] Vinnie Lei: I heard and read all around that the Punisher is out of commision and should never be used on the field? [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: You may use it at the moment. It has not been formally retired. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Soon! - [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Any other old business? [18:25] Silver Meridoc raises hand [18:25] Alexander Stawberry: >:O [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Silver? [18:26] Silver Meridoc: Thank you sir, as some of you may know, the imperial Courier will be publishing its first issue *possibly* by the end of April. We are opened to any article ideas or fiction,poem,comics anyone wishes to submit. I ask that people try to give this a hand or we wont be going far since already we are understaffed. [18:26] Alexander Stawberry: x3;.. so what subject are we on,.. KKK is a business topic now? [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: (Alexander, you're about two topics behind and replying to Vent in chat. :p) [18:27] Silver Meridoc: As of late i must congrats Agareis for being the 2nd head editor and for Euro on being cheif artists [18:27] Lestat Umarov: (He crashed >.> Not sure if he knew vent was off topic during meetings) [18:27] Lunessa Petrov: [Oh that reminds me what is the Ordo Vent link I need to get that x-x]] [18:27] Silver Meridoc: if you cannot contact me with ides, you can notify them, thats is all [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome, thank you Silver. - [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Any further old business this evening? [18:28] Rei Kuhr raises his hand. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Rei. [18:29] Rei Kuhr: Just wanted to say that I'll be gone quite a lot until the busy period dies down. My new work schedule has been tiring me out but I'll be working up a way to make more of the time I got off work. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Understood! New Business [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: All right, on to new business. I have a few topics to bring up before opening to general session. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: First up, a bit of very good news . . [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: I think we can all agree: our current dress attire boots are . . . [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Lame. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Actually, they're probably older than most of you. [18:32] Lestat Umarov: :3 [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: As Lestat's use of a gesture (disable it) demonstrated: he's come up with an alternative. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Hopefully by tomorrow we'll be issuing new, pretty damn awesome sculpted footware. [18:33] Ahnoh Echegaray hopes for paw boots.... [18:33] Silver Meridoc: so is that for both enlisted and tact boots, regular and digi? [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Normal boots. Not furry. You'll see. [18:34] Silver Meridoc: ah ok [18:34] Lestat Umarov: Do you wanna show them the pic sir? [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you Lestat for undertaking it, I appreciate it! I'm sure you'll all love them. [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Actually. [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Yes, go ahead. [18:34] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: But I have joints in my shins ;-; [18:35] Gulliver Carpool hands Zrazor shin splints. [18:35] Cyphre Iredell: XD [18:35] Desereck Creeggan: o_o [18:35] Desereck Creeggan: nice [18:35] loki Cramer: thats bad ass [18:35] Rei Kuhr: For those that have non-standard feet, do not fret. You will be issued authorized Ordo feet to go with them. [18:35] Cyphre Iredell: I has those... minus symbol. same as AN has done. [18:35] MikeMurdock McMillan: it's sexy, hot, and POPPIN FRESH [18:35] Keller Teichmann raises his hand. c.c [18:36] Cyphre Iredell: Can cam my boots and see pretty much what they look like. [18:36] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: They're like Han Solo boots @o@ <3 [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Ayep. The person who did the AN boots offered the deal over to us, compliments of connections through Luca. [18:36] Desereck Creeggan: I like our combat boots :/ [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Keller? [18:36] Keller Teichmann: Will we be able to wear these with our regular combat attire? [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Hm . . [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Possibly. We'll have to see when they're issued. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you again, Lestat. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Any further questions? [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Great. - [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Schola outline redo! [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: I'm about 60% done with the redo of the Schola outline redo. I'll have a beta (probably) before the weekend is over. After which I'll be pulling the instructors over to do a final run through it. [18:39] Rei Kuhr raises a hand. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: It's far more streamlined, a bit more difficult, and extended. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: We've split it into five phases. Phase 1 being handbook (general): basic information, history, ranks, chain of command. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Phase 2 is in depth regulations and norms of practice, along with the Iron Symphony doctrine. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Phase 3 is mindset and conduct, which focusses on establishing the "idea" behind the Ordo: brotherhood, etc. Lot of reading and speech work from the instructor. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Phase 4 is the gear review, unlocks, spawn stuff. Basically the tie-up and review. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Phase 5 is the combat portion and final exam. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Although an additional phase has been added, it's reorganized and put into groupings that make sense, rather than phase 1/2 being "phew," and then going "......." for two hours in phase 3. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: This should provide a higher level of efficiency, while covering more points in a time effective manner. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Likewise, the general format will be far more friendly for instructors. It's been put together in a more manageable set up, rather than a jumbled mess of "good luck!" [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Any quick questions on that? [18:45] Zero Itamae raises his hand. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Zero. [18:45] Blaze Wiles raises her paw [18:45] Rei Kuhr keeps his hand up still. [18:45] Zero Itamae: I take it that the new format will be easier to write lectures with then? [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: A /lot/ easier [18:45] Zero Itamae: Excellent. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: You'll have a beta copy here soon. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Blaze? [18:46] Blaze Wiles: will you be requiring a test run of the program with volentiers? [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Oh yes. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: I'll be teaching all the instructors personally. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: And anyone who wants to sit in are more than welcome to. [18:47] Rei Kuhr puts his hand down, question answered. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Let's move on! - [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: As mentioned, I have a bit of announcement for Terra: [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: We've introduced a new portion to Terra, focussed on gathering battlefield, combat data, to provide briefings and intelligence reports. If you've seen our new deployment set up: that's Tactica's doing (Waffle!) [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: I'll let Zrazor explain. Zrazor? [18:49] Gulliver Carpool begins to gently sob. [18:49] Zrazor Rozenstrauch ahems and shuffles through some notes. [18:50] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: As written in our mission statement... [18:50] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: Tactica is a limited, ten-member council of bright individuals from all different divisions and organizations within the Ordo, each one approved by the Imperator, and dedicated to the study and analysis of combat logistics. Tactica is, in essence, a think-tank focused ultimately on devising new ways to secure victory in the name of the Imperator, whenever and wherever possible. In theory, this is accomplished through the study of enemy geography, weaponry, and tactics, as well as to encourage and advise direction of offensive action through study of current political trends and standings within the military community at large." [18:50] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: At present, we have five seated members, and room for five more. [18:51] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: Over the next few days, I will be conducting interviews with anyone who is interested. [18:51] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: Tactica is open to all members, regardless of division or rank. [18:52] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: So if you think you can bring something to the table, shoot me an IM. [18:52] Aryte Vesperia: Zrazor is the current NCOIC. He has active command over the unit. [18:52] Rei Kuhr raises a hand. [18:52] Aryte Vesperia: Rei? [18:53] Rei Kuhr: I understand anyone can join, but I think one person of each division, maybe the current resource sergeants, should take on the role of technical advisor to give advice on their particular fields of expertise. [18:53] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: I intend to keep it even among divisions. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: That'd be fine. I've really left this up to Zrazor, so he's free to determine either which way. [18:54] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: I'll also note that much of the preliminary work (i.e. Waffle's raid platform, Samia getting map sculpts of enemy sims, etc) is complete [18:55] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: So at this point we're going to focus on recruitment, and then move into a sort of analytical phase [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Keep in mind this is . . uniformed intelligence. So you'd be doing things like, running through Ziost with a clipboard. [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: (True story: ask Scientific.) [18:56] Scientific Waffle: :p [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Any further questions on Tactica? [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Great. [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Just a couple more from me. - [18:58] Aryte Vesperia: On a real quick note, I do want to inform everyone Xayiven Rau is working on a new unlock/gear distribution system. There will be more on that soon. But the dry days of "can has unlock point 4 rank" will be done with. The new concept is very entertaining. I'll grant details when it's ironed out, and, when it won't make the meeting 3 hours long. [18:58] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic. - [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: Officers: bad news . . [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: We'll be scheduling routine officer meetings, starting here soon. [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: I'll open a thread to get a "good" time for you all here after the meeting. [19:00] Aryte Vesperia: (This is for /all/ administratio. Curia, Frumentarii, warrants, Guard, etc.) [19:00] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic! - [19:00] Aryte Vesperia: Announcement for Terra here. This will only effect a few people. [19:01] Aryte Vesperia: In order to ensure stratification of positions and proper command control, I will be changing the standards for officers. [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: Any officer who has an outside command may not be in an elite squad in addition to their assignment. [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: Effective immediately. [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: For example: [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: If you're a W-1, but you're only a W-1 within your elite squad. IE: the squad XO. You're okay. [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: If you're a W-1/W-2, whatever, who is in command of a Century/Cohors, you may not be in an elite squad. [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Your responsibility is to your century and the octets beneath, not to the elite squad. [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: I'll tap all of the folks involved in a day or so. [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: So if you're confused, don't worry. [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: To add: we're still working on filling officer vacancies in Terra. A new appointment will be made this evening, but there's plenty to go. - [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: And, last topic from me this evening. [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Raise your hand if you have /not/ heard about the incident involving Chaos being ejected from their own group by the Iron Symphony? [19:06] Sol Cult raises hand. [19:06] Ahnoh Echegaray raises hand [19:06] Jinxy Fluffball raises hand [19:06] Azaghul Apfelbaum raises hand. [19:06] Mack Rachter raises hand. [19:06] Rei Kuhr raises hand. [19:06] Scientific Waffle raises hand... to face. [19:06] Zrazor Rozenstrauch raises hands \o/ [19:06] Phillip Hultcrantz: ...read forums much? [19:06] Zrazor Rozenstrauch waves 'em like he just don't care \o [19:07] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: \o\ /o/ \o\ /o/ [19:07] Aryte Vesperia: All right. [19:07] Aryte Vesperia: I'll explain from square one. [19:07] Aryte Vesperia: Just over a week ago, I received a message from Lurdan Huszar, Merczateers OIC. [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: I was informed a jaded member of Chaos was preparing to go south on the group. We chatted briefly and then I contacted the rogue member. [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: I was sent an invitation to the Chaos groups. I documented who was in it. [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: Lurdan and I discussed and it was suggested to me that I should send a notice out to the group. [19:09] Aryte Vesperia: The notice I sent was: “The foundation of our collective is that of cooperation, respect, and the sentiments of mutuality. Chaos is, alas, simply a personification of Dark’s malice and a tool for his personal entertainment. These antics of hate are reminiscent to an era we’ve been fighting to be long rid of. A flawed mindset of uncaring, “for the lulz” quasi-griefing that plagued our community years ago. I implore you all: find a new group.” [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: After which, I asked Lurdan: do you want me to eject them? [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: Lurdan affirmed. I asked again. "Eject?" [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: Lurdan affirmed. [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: So I ejected Chaos from its own group. [19:11] Aryte Vesperia: Let's keep in mind, this is Chaos Imperialis. The same group responsible for copying our attire and targetting members of the Ordo personally. [19:11] Aryte Vesperia: Recently, a great deal of backlash has followed the decision to eject Chaos. [19:11] Ahnoh Echegaray: o.o [19:11] Aryte Vesperia: If you care to, you can read the whole complaint on: http://thejessiewarjournal.wordpress.com/2...bout-community/ [19:11] Ahnoh Echegaray: talk about clensing the heretics... [19:11] Aryte Vesperia: shh. [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: Now, originally Lurdan and I agreed: this was the best choice of action. We cannot tolerate a group like this trying to, literally, destroy what we stand for. Dark has said such charming things as: [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: Dark Svenska: …Most of all: the conquest of other groups who don’t belong…Groups who basically just need to be disbanded. Like Ordo. [19:12] Scientific Waffle: 2 sent [19:14] Aryte Vesperia: Unfortunately, Merczateers support for the matter appeared to erode. Lurdan backpedaled and apologized, without informing me first. [19:15] Aryte Vesperia: This generated a huge disaster in policy and presentation. [19:15] Aryte Vesperia: I went left, and he went right. Although Lurdan had been involved--possibly even more than I, the backlash has been aimed nearly entirely at the Ordo. [19:16] Aryte Vesperia: Until recently, Merczateer command sat back and let the comments fly. Lurdan chimed in yesterday to comment "why are you all just blaming Aryte?" [19:17] Aryte Vesperia: The reason I bring this up: to bring everyone on the same page. [19:17] loki Cramer pats arytes back [19:18] Aryte Vesperia: Yes, I was involved in ejecting Chaos and overtly admit so. Hell, I did it on Aryte purposely. Although I recognize this is can be prodded as "stooping to their level," I see a foolish lack of caution by complacently sitting back and letting their abuses go without punishment. [19:19] Aryte Vesperia: Chaos is not a military. [19:19] Sol Cult: Booyaka. [19:19] Aryte Vesperia: Classifying them as such is a joke. [19:19] Aryte Vesperia: Chaos was founded on hate, malice, and intolerance. They overtly have tried and will continue to try to grief militaries, especially the Ordo. [19:20] Aryte Vesperia: Their leader has, more than once, demonstrated his lack of care for decency and humanity. [19:20] Aryte Vesperia: I don't regret what I did. [19:20] Aryte Vesperia: Not at all. [19:21] Silver Meridoc: you did what u had to do sir, it was the right choice in the case of what was going on [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: Lurdan apologized to the Merczateers, based upon the belief he'd "eroded their trust." [19:22] Aryte Vesperia: I see no reason to apologize. And I will not apologize. I was part of this event because of my attachment and desire to protect the Ordo. [19:23] Aryte Vesperia: If anyone faults me for that, I don't blame them. I can see where someone may perceive it as a rotten move. [19:23] Aryte Vesperia: But I do say to other groups who decry the action: But until you're on the receiving end of Dark's malice, don't judge. [19:23] Aryte Vesperia: I am not afraid to be hardline. [19:23] Aryte Vesperia: I'm not afraid of bad press. [19:24] Aryte Vesperia: I'm not afraid of being disliked. I'm not afraid of someone calling me evil (Iolol Hax; AN). [19:24] Aryte Vesperia: I will always do what I feel the best for this group, even it it is something unpopular. [19:24] Mikael Khalamov raises his hand. "If I may, I might be able to offer an explanation for why AN finds this so bad." [19:25] Sol Cult: ... why do we care what AN thinks? [19:25] Aryte Vesperia: Shh. [19:25] Mikael Khalamov: Didn't say we did, but I'm just saying. :| [19:25] Aryte Vesperia: Quiet please. [19:25] Sol Cult: Hurrm. [19:25] Aryte Vesperia: I've always operated this way and I always will. [19:26] Aryte Vesperia: The Ordo Imperialis will never tolerate transgression against it, especially something so personal as Dark Svenska's assaults. [19:26] Aryte Vesperia: If you push us, we will push back. [19:26] Aryte Vesperia: We will not write you a letter about how we disagree with you. [19:27] Aryte Vesperia: We'll respond in kind, to protect our interests and the group we've worked so diligently to uphold. [19:28] Aryte Vesperia: If you'd prefer I apologize and back down because I'm afraid another military might not approve of my actions, I'm sorry. [19:28] Aryte Vesperia: The Ordo will always come first. [19:29] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [19:29] Lestat Umarov: None here. [19:29] Dascede Aluveaux raises hand. [19:29] Aryte Vesperia: Dascede. [19:29] Niiya Narayan raises her hand [19:30] Dascede Aluveaux: The fact that you're willing to take the heat from hundreds of other people proves to myself and everyone else here, even more, that you're by far the greatest leader we've ever had. [19:30] Dascede Aluveaux: That would be all. [19:30] Aryte Vesperia: I appreciate your comment. [19:31] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [19:31] Aryte Vesperia: Niiya? [19:31] Rei Kuhr raises his hand. [19:36] Desereck Creeggan raises hand. [19:36] Aryte Vesperia: Agreed, although keep in mind they try off the battlefield. They griefed Ratin a day or so ago. [19:36] Aryte Vesperia: Keller? [19:36] Scientific Waffle raises hand [19:36] Keller Teichmann: (still typing. <<; ) [19:37] Scientific Waffle withdraws hand [19:37] Aryte Vesperia: On to Zrazor then. [19:38] Keller Teichmann: (ready) [19:38] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: ...At some point during that I completely lost my train of thought and forgot what I was going to say :p [19:38] Aryte Vesperia: Keller. [19:38] Keller Teichmann: I disagree with what Niiya said, actually. Having been in New Jessie, and having to deal with the Chaos' harassment, it'd be exactly what they want if we decided not to combat them. As it is, it is -very- rare for us to fight Chaos in New Jessie. In fact, they typically stand up at the hub trash talking and taking snapshots at Ordo, only to state they are too busy to fight us on the ground. If we were to flat out state that we can't / won't fight them, they'd use that as fuel to the fire. As it is, they look like fools for standing down or retreating the moment an Ordo member rolls into New Jessie, because they KNOW we will beat them and they don't want to be made fools of. Aside from Tyenshinsi before his removal, and the major raid, how many times have we actually fought them in New Jessie? I can only recall one particular incident, and that Chaos got himself banned for cheating. [19:38] Jinxy Fluffball raises hand [19:39] Aryte Vesperia: True. Also, a high number of NJ admins are sympathetic, or, flat out IS military aligned. [19:39] Aryte Vesperia: Ribena? [19:39] ribena Homewood: Firstly, there is no need of an apology for ejecting such individuals who do nothing but offend others, copybot and so on; You did what you had to do, and I hope the public agree with me. [19:39] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [19:39] ribena Homewood: Secondly, you did it for something which you love, as I included in the Private Message which I sent you, Chaos do nothing but cause grief, anyway. Dark has yet to grow out of his nine year old body, and grow up as a proper man [19:39] ribena Homewood: And overall, it takes a true, passionate leader to make a public apology to everyone who stands before you, and I hope that everyone else here agrees with my personal opinion on this statement. [19:39] ribena Homewood: That's pretty much it. [19:40] Aryte Vesperia: I appreciate it, thank you. [19:40] Aryte Vesperia: Desereck? [19:41] Desereck Creeggan: I agree with the fact of shutting them out completely, will be one of the best courses of actions we can do. In essence though, it is really a great comparison to the PN. It doesnt matter what happens or what you do, they're going to ALWAYS be the griefers, they'll ALWAYS keep the "for teh lulz", and they'll just keep coming. What you did, was understandable and the honestly correct choice. I can hopefully speak for all of Ordo, thatr we're behind you 100%. But it doesnt change the fact that they'll just keep coming back, and they'll never stop untill they get bored. [19:41] Aryte Vesperia: I appreciate it. I value the support. [19:41] Aryte Vesperia: Jinxy? [19:41] Desereck Creeggan: Shutting them down from NJ, is going to be nearly impossible. As long as Chaos can find a combat sim to grief, they'll be there. Its a predicament. [19:42] Jinxy Fluffball: Imperator, Officers, Troops.. [19:42] Jinxy Fluffball: In my opinion, i agree with niiya
  12. Imperator. I do believe I speak for most people here when I say that we don't think what you did was wrong; we'll always be here to back you up fully, and it only makes us more glad to be part of this military, knowing that our leader makes it his personal effort to defend his group, his brethren earnestly. I do think that although it holds little effect on Chaos's group, as they can just rebuild the group, it was by no means unneccessary... It's hard to explain, really. But I will continue to follow your path happily.
  13. Meeting Opening [18:00] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Let's get started. [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Quiet down everyone please. [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Going to make this as quick as possible, for those of you in Euro-land. [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you all for coming! [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: I'll go ahead and move on into the weekly report from me. Imperator's Report [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: We're sitting at 225 active personnel. [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Unfortunately our app server is down for the moment, so I couldn't grab numbers. I do know we had several accepted apps. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Overall, steady progress. Only one resignation/random vanish in three weeks. That's a testament to you all. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Combat wise, we've seen no real change in occurences. Heavy battles have been waged on and off Titan's soil. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Notably, our defensive actions have increased drastically. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: I'll touch on that in the keynote. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Our sister group, Titan Industries, is picking up steam pretty rapidly. I should have all department directors appointed tomorrow, and, hopefully, the final role description (Human Resources) finished. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: As mentioned last week, we've begun appointing new IS delegates. I should have that finalized tomorrow as well. Officers, be sure you check that thread now to note your time availability. [18:05] Lestat Umarov: ao off [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Terra appointments are still very much so underway. Another officer will be appointed this evening. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of vacant roles. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: We could, realistically, due with four more appointments. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: We continue to grow at a pretty impressive rate: we are on the push to 250. As I've noticed, there is a general trend. We'll have a period of stability (which we're at now), and then a sudden influx of members. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: I would not be surprised if we hit 250 within two months. [18:07] Keystone Gray: >_> [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Currently, 12% of the Ordo are classified as "administrations." W1 to O3. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Administrators, rather. [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: So, it'll be filled! [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: I presume we'll try to steady back out at 10%. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: All in all, very good work this week. I am pleased! Divisional Reports [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Let's move on. Division reports? [18:11] Lestat Umarov: I'll volunteer sir Terra [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Lestat Umarov, for Terra. [18:11] Kytec Switchblade raises his hand [18:11] Lestat Umarov: All in all things are going well in Terra as of late. The only real complaint I've been getting was inactivity on Cohors A, but it doesn't seem to be a serious problem at the moment. Aside from that most of the issues this week pertain to Acadamies and Alpha squads. [18:11] Lestat Umarov: The Imperator has stated that you can no longer have a dual enlistment in the Adiutor staff and an alpha squad. This means that if you are currently in more than one you have a week to make up your mind as to which you want to stay with. For those who wish to stay with the Adiutor staff I will be working on getting unique equiptment as well as looking into other options. [18:12] Lestat Umarov: From Agares on Antesignani; "Venerator distribution is picking up, and training course protocols are being completed within schedule. The Antesignani's training schedule will be posted this saturday. The group currently will begin to look for new mebers, as soon as some inactive members are removed from duty. That about sums up Antesignani's progress for the week. I have a copy of the schedule, if you want to scrutinize it." [18:13] Lestat Umarov: Lupus is working on an advanced marksmanship academy focusing on acuracy, intelligent use of cover, planning strategys, and securing objectives. I'm impressed so far with his outline and look forward to what he comes up with in the near future. [18:13] Lestat Umarov: Terra training had been going well, we've had plenty of graduates and skirmishes have been happening on a regular basis. In the near future we may run out of people to run through the course due to near complete division immersion but that will be addressed as it comes up. Since training is finally happening regularly I'd like to bring up that work on the NCO academy is finally in the works again. I have several people working on it but I encourage anyone who's interested to submit thier own suggestions or outlines in notecard format. I'll try to hold a meeting regarding this sometime next week. [18:13] Lestat Umarov: This concludes my report for Terra. [18:13] Sekonda Huet raises hand. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Umarov. Praetorian Guard [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Kytec Switchblade, for the Praetorian Guard. [18:15] Kytec Switchblade: / Praetorian training on Friday was cancelled due to everyone being at the movies seeing Watchmen and the likes. Sunday will take up the same regiemnt, designed by Agares due to his disapproval of last week's training. His goal if realism in training will require a number of volunteers, but if all goes well we should have a great time. 1 pm slt tomorrow. That is all for the Guard. [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Sekonda Huet, for Terra Armatura. Armatura [18:16] Sekonda Huet: Armatura recently opened up recruitment and I have decided upon Dascede Aluveaux, Samia Perun and Machiavelli Biondetti as the additional instruction team. They will be able to qualify you on the range along with Tandem Destiny, Zrazor Rozenstrauch, Endra Ashbourne, Keller Teichman and myself. Armatura's training is changing and will involve most of Terra more frequently, Skirmishes similar to that of last week will be happening more often; keep your eyes on the Terra Forums for announcements and the schedule for classes and training is up there. That concludes Armatura's report. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Navis, Astra? Navis [18:16] Ethan Schuman raises his hand. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Ethan Schuman, for Navis. [18:16] Ethan Schuman: Thank you, sir. Navis has the following matters to report this week. [18:17] Ethan Schuman: Firstly, as most of you are aware, Centurion Rei Kuhr has taken a leave of absence to deal with real life issues. On behalf of Navis, I wish him well in his endeavours and for his speedy return. In the meantime, his departure leaves me without an executive officer. Fortunately, the recently promoted Triplicarius Keystone Gray is now in a position to exercise his considerable talents in Rei's place. Keystone will be taking over Rei's duties, and will be helping me with administrative and organizational tasks. Gulliver Carpool will also be working on strategic directives, and working hand in hand with Navis Resource Sergeant Shadowfang Blessed and Navis Head Trainer DamionStJames Webb to flesh out and finalize both orientation training as well as skill maintenance exercises. I know our training has been very sparse as of late, and I will get into that next. [18:17] Ethan Schuman: Secondly, our weapons are done and in the armory. To access each weapon, you will need its corresponding keycard. The FW900K Battle Rifle is unlockable by everyone. To access either the assault rifle variant or the MP9 submachine gun, you will need to declare your career path (Marines or Crew) and get your Tier I keycard. The Tier II weapons (FW900K Battle Rifle w/M203 and the W-13 Shotgun) are awarded to Navis members who show commitment over an extended period of time, and are awarded after recommendation from Navis staff. The Tier III weapon (X-AR9 Assault Carbine) is a special unlock awarded at the recommendation of either the Navis executive officer or Legates, or the Imperator himself. If you are having trouble with your keycards, check the Navis notice history and make sure you are following all steps on that list. Also, while the weapons in the locker are combat functional, more updates have been made. I will be updating the locker contents to Version 1.4 as soon as I get the chance, at which point a [18:18] Ethan Schuman: notice will be put out. [18:18] Ethan Schuman: Thirdly, Thanatos has reached version 0.5, and is finished. That's right, no more adjustments or things to fix, she's done and packaged up for issue. There are a few things I should go over first, however. The Thanatos is a general issue vehicle, meaning that if you're in Navis, you get one. However, both the pilot seat and the vulcan cannon attachment work off of Mercury authentication, so you'll need to talk to an officer to get added to the auth list. The gunner seat does NOT use Mercury, but rather checks to make sure the passenger is in the same group as the pilot. This means that you CAN (however, I don't necessarily condone doing so) pick up your Antesignani buddy in their Venerator and fly over the battlefield and rain death while looking like something out of Gundam wing. I should also note here that when both seats are manned, the Thanatos splits damage between pilot and gunner, and can withstand up to THREE direct hits instead of just one. Because of this, Navis pilots are strongly encouraged to p [18:18] Ethan Schuman: ick up a gunner whenever possible. [18:20] Ethan Schuman: I've also just noticed that I didn't save my last change to this notecard, so I'd like to take this opportunity to extend a huge thanks to Syl Kiranov, for all her efforts. We really appreciate you, Syl. Thank you from us all. [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: :) [18:20] Keystone Gray nodnods in agreement. [18:20] Syl Kiranov hides. [18:20] Keystone Gray: <3 [18:20] Gulliver Carpool even can fly the Thanatos. [18:20] Ethan Schuman: Fourthly, I need to have a staff meeting with my Navis team after this meeting is finished. Please meet me in Ventrilo at the meeting's conclusion. [18:21] DamionStJames Webb raises hand [18:21] Aelus Janus: Syl is quite amazing. [18:21] Fermi Torok raises his hand. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Damion? [18:21] Ethan Schuman: I knowmy briefing this week was long, so if any of you have any questions regardingwhat I've gone over please speak with me after this meeting. [18:22] Ethan Schuman: This concludes the Navis report for this week. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Ethan. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Damion? [18:22] DamionStJames Webb: I wanted to add on, that anyone within navis that needs training needs to get in contact with me. Additionally anyone that has ideas that they want to contribute to training please send them to me in notecards. Also, Navis personelle of non comisisoned status should send me a notecard so I know when I can schedule training, please send me a notecard with your taining schedules [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Fermi? Astra [18:23] Fermi Torok: On short notice, Sosarin couldn't make the meeting and he sends his appologies. I'd like to thank Heather for writing and patching together this weeks 'split-second' report for Astra. [18:24] Fermi Torok: For the Astra division, first I will mention the Apostles reform. Fermi Torok has been appointed to help organize and spearhead the training regimen reform, working alongside Kristian Kit. Fermi has already sent out notecards. This is part of the Apostles reform, moving it from an elite squad to an instructors’ core. Further support from the Apostles for suggestions to the training reform would be appreciated. [18:24] Fermi Torok: One of the flights of Astra has been decommissioned, the Aquila flight, and we are continuing to restructure to better suit the needs of the division, as well as the needs of The Ordo Imperialis as a whole. Daffee Vita has been settling into his new role as the flight lead for the Drake team. The Drake team has been made into a flight designated for our European time-zone pilots, and is under Niiya Narayan. [18:24] Fermi Torok: Nemesis beta-testing continues. It has been done on an individual level, with several of the pilots in Astra being given copies. We have encountered one glitch, so beta testing will need to be continued further, thank you Desereck for finding this. [18:24] Fermi Torok: This week Astra has faced some challenges on the battlefield in the form of Chthonic Syndicate and Trenchcoat Tech. The conditions imposed on Astra during the CS assault on Titan were a test in patience, but none the less, Astra prevailed against the enemy pilots, granting them no foothold. The same proved true for Trenchcoat Tech and Guerilla Rebels. [18:25] Fermi Torok: This concludes Astra's report. Thanks Heather <3 [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Very good, thank you. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Any last reports? [18:27] Agares Tretiak raises his hand. [18:27] Tiridates Mikadze raises hand. [18:28] Agares Tretiak: -_-; [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Agares. Academies [18:28] Agares Tretiak: Not so much a report, as an anouncement. the Academies will proceed with the advanced training level of the Artillery school. I will post specifics on the forums tonight. [18:29] Agares Tretiak: That's all, thank you. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Tiridates? [18:32] Tiridates Mikadze: Sorry, I just wanted to say that I appreciate the continued vigilance of the Ordo in all matters of security. Thank you, and please, continue to cooperate as we strive for safety and victory for all in the Ordo. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Great. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: All right, moving on to the keynotes. Keynote Topics [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Any old business to bring up? [18:34] Silver Meridoc raises hand [18:34] Silver Meridoc: actually, ill wait for new buisness [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Roger. [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along, then. -- [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: First up, I wanted to touch on defensive matters. [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Recently, combat has increased . . probably exponentially, on Titan's soil. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Our formal enemies have picked up the slack, and, a surprising increase of random assaults by unaffiliated parties have put their efforts forth. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: To date, defense has gone pretty damn well. We've not had any serious incidents to note. However, there is a possibility of disaster when laxity sets in. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: First, I must remind you all of the importance of command solidarity: listen to your OIC. If one is lacking, pick one quickly and take it from there. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Do not cross commands. Do not refute decisions in the heat of battle. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Secondly, keep alert and don't try to be Rambo. Some late hours can see Titan with a very scarce defense force, when folks trickle away to go amuse themselves away from region. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: We've seen numerous attacked from 2 to 6AM. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Significant ones, as well. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Do not hestitate: if you find yourself facing a situation that is not being dealt with within relative ease, call for reinforcements. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Simply chime in over the main group channel. "Hostiles in Titan, requesting assistance." [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Be sure, however, not to do this without reason. If you've an OIC at the time, leave it up to them to decide. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: IE: don' [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Er. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: IE: don't call for backup when two people are throwing themselves at 10 Ordo. [18:39] Aelus Janus: Heresy spawns fom idleness. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Next, don't forget to report. [18:39] Lestat Umarov: grows [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Shh. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Don't forget to report any combat infraction. Combat reports are easy! Just grab the template off the forums. Takes no more than five minutes. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: And lastly, but most importantly, respect your enemy. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Do not abuse them. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: In many cases, Ordo will outnumber enemy attackers . . sometimes 3 to 1. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Scale down your guns without having being told to: use assault rifles, not miniguns. Save your heavy weapons for when it is dire and needed. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: If you abuse attackers, they will not return. And then we'll be pretty bored! [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: There is a place and purpose for heavy weapons, explosives, and vehicles. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: 3 random attackers versus 10 Ordo =/= a good time for rocket launchers. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: 3 random attackers using highly spammy miniguns that nearly crash our sim . . yeah, rocket them. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Just use your judgement and follow your OIC. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:44] Agares Tretiak raises his hand./ [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Agares? [18:44] Blaze Wiles raises paw [18:44] Agares Tretiak: Grenades, if used in moderation, are allowed to move enemies out of cover, correct? [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Of course. [18:44] DamionStJames Webb raises hand [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Blaze? [18:45] Blaze Wiles : more of an obsevation that a question, I find it emencly satisfying to tag an enemy with just one round especially if they are just spraying the wall with ammo (and missing) [18:46] Pancake Waffle raises hand [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: So true. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Damion? [18:46] Blaze Wiles: and it shows off how good our Troopers can be [18:46] DamionStJames Webb says "I just wanted to remind people to be careful and mindful of where they are standing should they decide to advance forward of the wall in combat. Some people have difficult times adjusting to the lag and low FPS rate, so often times Friendly fire can occur. I recently incured this when I was trying to defend the lower part of the wall and people kept running in my way [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Aye. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Pancake? [18:47] Pancake Waffle: More of an add on, but for minding the red zones, alot of people tend to want to melee the enemy, It is fun to do so but not exactly allowed. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Haha, yes . . don't. Even if it sounds fun as hell. [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you for bringing it up. -- [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Let's move on! [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Topic two: [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: The SRAW has been phased out . . [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Aaaand summarily replaced by the Pilum. [18:49] Aryte Vesperia: The Pilum is a high detail, extremely amazing rocket launcher created by Niiya. [18:49] Aryte Vesperia: Named after the most widely used Roman javeline, it will serve to be a great addition to our armory. [18:50] Aryte Vesperia: At the moment, I do believe it will be a seperate unlock, rather than combined to the Adjudicator. [18:50] Aryte Vesperia: Simply because, it's a beast. [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: I've been running around with it for about a week now on Ruin. [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: The pretty explosion? Th at's the Pilum. [18:51] Sirus McMahon raises his paw [18:52] Aryte Vesperia: On the topic of unlocks, I do want to announce that Xayvien Rau is spearheading the project of redesigning gear distribution and unlocks. [18:52] Aryte Vesperia: So, be on the look out for his work there. I'll let him say whether or not he'd care for volunteers or input. [18:52] Aryte Vesperia: Silver? [18:53] Silver Meridoc: yes? [18:53] Phillip Hultcrantz: [18:52] Sirus McMahon raises his paw [18:53] Sirus McMahon: nvm >.> [18:54] Silver Meridoc: >.> [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Oops. I meant sirus. [18:54] Silver Meridoc: no worries sir [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Go ahead, Sirus. [18:55] Sirus McMahon: oh, was just going to ask when the switch between the SRAW and the Pilum will happen [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Those with the SRAW may still use it. It simply will not be issued any longer. The Pilum will be issued as soon as Akurei finishes my locker. [18:56] Sirus McMahon: thank you sir [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions? [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome, moving on. [18:57] Blaze Wiles raises paw again [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Or not. Blaze? [18:58] Blaze Wiles: it might be handy to note if those who already have the SRAW will be getting the Pilum once it is issued or will they need to unlock it [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: At this time, I will likely make it a seperate thing. Since the Adjudicator and SRAW used to be one toy, it'd essentially make the Pilum a "everyone who's E-3 and above will now have the Pilum." Adjudicator is too damn popular. -- [19:00] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic. [19:00] Aryte Vesperia: "Formalizing." [19:01] Aryte Vesperia: The Ordo has been credited as being a pretty professional, militaristic institution. I say . . and I'm sure you can all agree . . we've got a lot of room to improve, even so! [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: As a general heads up, you can all expect to see a lot of our routine and standards to be more formalized and concrete. The whole idea will be to generate, simply, a more efficient group. [19:02] Dralkanen Hextall raises an appendage. [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: This means streamlining paperwork, updating forms and documents, improving our systems of operation (application database, etc), putting more general folkways onto paper. [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: A lot of grunt work, but, in the end, a real credit to our overall image. [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: So do not be surprised to see a sudden flood of new forms, changed forms, etc, etc. [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: Dralkanen? [19:04] Dralkanen Hextall: So this is less efficency.. as its jus tmore paper work :P [19:05] Gulliver Carpool raises his hand. [19:05] Samia Perun raises his hand [19:05] Gulliver Carpool: I'd like to answer that sir. [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Go for it, Gulliver. [19:06] Gulliver Carpool: I think, Dral, what Aryte is getting at is to make things more efficient. For example, combat action reports will have a form. You simply fill it out. I'm speculating on that and any other examples, but it's to make running a group of 225 people move more smoothly. [19:06] Aryte Vesperia: Exactly. [19:07] Gulliver Carpool fist pumps. [19:07] Agares Tretiak raises his hand. [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: Sure, more paperwork will be involved. But that's the cost of growth. The larger we get, the more paper work there will be. It's a fact of life. There is a necessity to become formalized as the numbers stack up, unless we intend to digress to anarchy and become a smaller, less functional group. [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: Samia? [19:08] Desereck Creeggan: o_o [19:08] Desereck Creeggan: oops [19:09] Samia Perun: I've been doing temporary, non-stop clerical work for several years now, in just about every sort of office you can imagine. Im a bit of a paperwork and clerical bad-ass now so would be happy to help out with streamlining, collating and merging if needed current forms with something more punchy and focused, just direct me to your filing cabinet :Q [19:09] Aryte Vesperia: Perfect! [19:09] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [19:09] Aryte Vesperia: Agares? [19:11] Agares Tretiak: One of my primary areas of study and interest lies in the way organizations form, develop, and function. SOciologically speaking, it's a good idea to develop a firm administrativve grounding for the ORdo,b ecause despite the horrors of redtape, redtape actually makes thigns smoother than if it never existed. I'd be glad to lend my hand to streamlining documentation and formatting things. [19:12] Samia Perun: we could make an awesome team Agares [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: We have a large collection of talented folks in that area. Like the Minister of Grammar, Gulliver. [19:12] Agares Tretiak: That we could. We could drag Zero in with us, because he's my slave-secretary. [19:12] Samia Perun: New alpha squad 'Ordo Desk Jockeys' [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: Haha, all right. Moving on. [19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Any other topics to bring up this evening? -- [19:13] Anlysia Gregoire raises her hand. [19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Anlysia? [19:13] Anlysia Gregoire: Sir, if I have something related to Titan Industries I'd like to discuss, would here be appropriate or outside of this? [19:20] Aryte Vesperia: Although sometimes a bit rough . . and most of the time incoherent. [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: ( I lol how everyone figured it out at "incoherent." ) [19:21] Scientific Waffle: LOL [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: His efforts in ensuring the continued effectiveness of Armatura have made his name here. [19:21] Phillip Hultcrantz: >_> [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: Sekonda Huet - [W-1]; [instructor Merit] [19:21] Agares Tretiak: OH GOD. [19:21] Keystone Gray: (Incoherent. READ: Drunk.) [19:21] DamionStJames Webb claps Meeting Closing [19:21] Aryte Vesperia: You're all dismissed. Sim will be open shortly. [19:21] Aryte Vesperia draws up his arm, snapping a fist to his chest to provide a salute.
  14. As a reference, this kid is a trained actor and the video was for lulz and shock. As for people in Europe hating Germans.. I feel sorry for Lupus. ):
  15. Opening [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Let's get started. [18:03] Aeriese Descenna: ~.~ [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Everyone quiet down please. [18:03] Ordo Utility HUD v1.3a: New contact: Lestat Umarov [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you all for coming! [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: We'll make this as painless and as quick as possible. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: We do have a couple important topics to touch on during the keynotes. Imperator's Report [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: But first, my weekly brief on the Ordo. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Currently sitting at 224 members; spare Tandem, who's waiting for LL to unlock his account (for the 8th time). He'll be back in short accord. [18:04] Phillip Hultcrantz: click and sit [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: No resignations for a second week in a row. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: 9 new applications. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: 2 of which were approved. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Combat activity has been pretty solid-- we had some great defensive manuevers earlier this week. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: One of which was a pretty masterful counter-assault during a GR raid on us. [18:06] Trinity Heckroth is Online [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: 39th appears to be trying to rev up their activity, taking pot shots at early hours. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Likewise, CS, now that their region is re-opened, has attacked us at 6AM several times this week. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Foreign policy is stable. No real change there. [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Development across the board has been active. I'm sure the individual divisions will touch on it. Notably, Venerator was handed to me about an hour ago. [18:08] Sirus McMahon: <3... [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Administrative efforts have been fairly intense, with a lot of focus abroad. We'll touch on that in the keynote. Divisional Reports [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, let's go ahead and move on to division reports. [18:09] Kytec Switchblade raises his hand [18:09] Lunus Ferraris: Stands At-Ease Praetorian Guard [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Kytec Switchblade, for the Guard. [18:11] Kytec Switchblade: The guard is undertaking more active roles in building bonds between allied groups. As of tomorrow we will alter our training course to better suit the renewed ambasadorships formerly denoted on the forums shaping it up and deploying. Hopefully we can begin to clear up misconceptions and strenthen old ties. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Anything further, Kytec? [18:12] Kytec Switchblade: That is all. Terra [18:12] Lestat Umarov raises hand [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Lestat Umarov, for Terra. [18:13] Lestat Umarov: Not a lot to report for Terra this week. Things have been stable lately, not a lot of changes. Armatura training has been happening regularly, with most of Terra having gone though it at this point. I'm going to be pushing Sekonda to start hosting skimishes that I mentioned in the outline to keep people sharp, which are basically mock attacks on Titan and can be any number of scenarios. As far as academy are going I know the artillery academy has been going well, and a new academy focusing on accuracy has been proposed by Lupus which had a great first run. [18:14] Lestat Umarov: In terms of development, the Venerator is completed as Aryte mentioned. One thing to note is that stomp damage has been removed. :c Sorry people. That concludes my report, unless anyone has anythign further to add. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Astra [18:14] Fermi Torok raises hand. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Fermi Torok, for Astra. [18:15] Fermi Torok: Practice dogfighting took place throughout the week and Karlhockey Forte has started running pilots through his new course. Thank you, Karlhockey. The new Nemesis bullet beta test still continues. Some reports have come in with opinions and we hope to have more intensive testing in the near future. The training regimen reform project has been assigned. It will consist mostly of the Astra officer cadre as well as any other experienced pilots who can pitch their bit. Fermi Torok has organized and will see through the project as he formulates a team. [18:15] Fermi Torok: Flight training will continue next week, as well as the Nemesis bullet beta-test. We hope to conclude that in short time. Thanks again to Syl for putting in her time to fix the lag bullet issue! In addition, the flight assignment roster has been reformulated. Daffee Vita will be a flight leader for our combat active european pilots. We've squeezed our combat active pilots into two flights for better cohesion. We hope to bring a third flight back as soon as more combat active pilots pop up. [18:16] Fermi Torok: That concludes this weeks Astra division report. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Navis? [18:16] Ethan Schuman: Yes sir. [18:16] Ethan Schuman: I actually have something to add to the Astra report, if I may? [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Go ahead. [18:17] Ethan Schuman: After talking to Sosarin, Keystone and I have decided to work on a new version of the Navis MP9 for Astra.I should be looking for test volunteers a little ater in the week, so please don't be shy. Navis [18:18] Ethan Schuman: Now, for Navis. [18:18] Ethan Schuman: Navis has the following matters to report this week. [18:18] Ethan Schuman: Firstly, I'd like to give a salute to Triplicarius Bo... err, Keystone Gray! After receiving a field promotion last night, Keystone has now ascended to the ranks of Veteranus, where I'm sure he will continue to serve Navis and the Ordo with distinction. Taking over his former position of Navis Resource Sergeant will be Duplicarius Shadowfang Blessed, who has been with us quite some time and is extremely familiar with the workings of Navis. Also, I'd like to announce that Decurion DamionStJames Webb will be picking up as head training coordinator. He will be working with both Keystone and Gulliver Carpool. I do ask that you give these individuals at least a little time to adapt to their new roles before bombarding them with notecards, but I hope to have these three up to speed and ready to go by midweek. [18:19] Ethan Schuman: Secondly, I know people have been itching for the weapons, and I've decided that we've waited long enough. The Navis guns WILL be boxed up and waiting in the armory tomorrow, come Hell or high water. The only thing that's missing off them is proper animations, and those can be added in at a later date. Effective IMMEDIATELY (wait until the meeting is over), all Navis personnel may request an FW900K Battle Rifle from Sera Otoro, and all Navis personnel with paths declared may request their respective Tier 1 unlock from myself or Keystone. Come tomorrow, we'll be putting up the vendor in the armory and I will send keycards to all those in Navis who have unlocked them. Really sorry about the wait for these guns, but they're here now. [18:19] Ethan Schuman: Speaking of releases people have been waiting for, Thanatos is just about ready to be released. Only one minor change needs to be made, and that is upping the bombs to 15m from 10m and putting them on an increased delay. Also, a bit of good news for you Terra folks... Mercury authentication has been removed from the gunner seat. Instead, a new system devised by Syl will check for same group tags, allowing Thanatos to carry passengers. If there are no problems, Thanatos should be issued tomorrow night, or Monday at the latest. Training for the Thanatos should follow shortly thereafter. [18:20] Ethan Schuman: This concludes the Navis report for this week. [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome, thank you. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Any further reports? [18:21] Sirus McMahon: L [18:21] Sirus McMahon: wrong box... Keynote Discussion [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along! [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Keynote. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Any old business to bring up this evening? [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Great. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: On to main business this evening. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: I have a few topics to bring up, after which I'll open it up to everyone. Please wait until I give the opportunity before interrupting. - [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost! As many of you realize, Terra has like . . four open command seats right now. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: I have begun filling them. The first promotion will be announced this evening. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: The problem we're facing is this: elevation leaving more holes. To fill the higher vacancies, we're losing warrant roles. In turn, we have to dig around in the upper enlisted and possibly pluck octet leads. Etc, etc. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: But, we'll be up to full speed here without much of an incident. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: I'll go ahead and announce the first appointment now, just to hear him cry. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Firefox Breed has been tapped and elevated to Centurion, to fill the role of Cohors C command. [18:27] Jester Spearmann: :O [18:27] Kraa String: Grats :D [18:27] Lunus Ferraris: Grats :D [18:27] FireFox Breed: >.> [18:27] DamionStJames Webb: Congradulations [18:27] Lestat Umarov: Congratulations. [18:27] Endra Ashbourne: Grats FireFox! :D [18:27] loki Cramer: woot [18:27] Vinnie Lei: Congrats! [18:27] Keller Teichmann: Congratz :D [18:28] Lupus Mielziner: ha ha Fox *pokies* [18:28] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: Woooo! ^o^ [18:28] Anlysia Gregoire: \o/ [18:28] Diablos Korobase: Congrates FireFox [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Congratulations! [18:28] Kronus Gaffer: Gratz [18:28] loki Cramer hands firefox a pack of pens and 100 notecards [18:28] Cyphre Iredell: Congrats! [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: HAha, okay! shh! [18:28] loki Cramer: lol [18:28] Justice Capalini smiles. [18:28] FireFox Breed facepaws >.< - [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Now, on the topic of further promotions: [18:28] FireFox Breed: Im now a paperwork officer D: [18:28] Justice Capalini: Good stuff' here here! [18:28] Lupus Mielziner hands firefox secretly a huge family pacage of aspirin [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: As time progresses, it must be realized that not every enlisted member will see officer. There is, and will always be "career NCOs." [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: This is not any sort of insult-- not at all. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: You see, in real administration it is difficult to discern how to reward people who are productive, and people who exhibit leadership potential. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Not everyone who is "productive" will ever exhibit the leadership qualities required. But, that's not a bad thing. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Some people are just extraordinarily perfect where they are. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: If at any time you feel like "wow, why is X a W-1 and I've been in 3 months longer," please realize it is not personal, nor intended to insult. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions are not intended to be the end-all "thanks for a good job *patpat*." Most folks here, I'd love to throw you rank every week. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions, ranks, are responsibility. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Responsibility that takes time, progressive contribution, and demonstration of willingness to go forward with that. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: You should never feel discredited by lack of promotion. Maybe it just means you don't have a lot of time! [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Honestly, that just probably means you're actually going outside, whereas I am pasty and white. [18:33] Lestat Umarov: Outside is overrated [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: I totally kid. But, honestly, if you ever wonder "why!" please just ask. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: I will explain! [18:33] Sirus McMahon: yea, theres no lag, but you only get one life [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Some folks may be e-7's for a very long, long time. [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: E-7 is a very honored role: you're one epic individual, and . . well, you don't have to be a manslave who is unpaid (Firefox). [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: So stick to it and please don't think I hate you. Most of the time, that's not true! :D [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? I'll take a couple. [18:34] Phillip Hultcrantz raises hand [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Phillip. [18:35] Phillip Hultcrantz: Nothing to do with promotion stuff, this is related to new business. Merits. Done. [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Yes, they look great! [18:35] Phillip Hultcrantz: When will they be issued? [18:36] Phillip Hultcrantz: And.. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: I am holding off a bit, may be in tandem with a new dress uniform. [18:36] Phillip Hultcrantz: do you need me to fix up the prim grid? [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: So people can bray all at onces. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Annnnd please, go for it. [18:36] Phillip Hultcrantz: \o/ k [18:36] Desereck Creeggan: 200 people with over one merit. this is gonna be fun :> [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Great. Any questions in relation to rank? [18:37] Kraa String raises a hand [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Kraa. [18:37] Kraa String: Sir, can we make e3 easier to spell and pronounce please [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: No! [18:37] Kraa String: D: [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on. :D [18:37] Lunus Ferraris: Hehe - [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: I just wanted to take a moment to comment on Curia reports. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Curia incident reports, as you should know, can be accessed online through the webpage. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Although reporting is pretty easy, the process of justice isn't so simple! [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Keep in mind our Curia officials do a great deal of due diligence and investigation into any incident. I've not heard this mentioned, but I fear sometimes folks may get the perception of "Curia reports, pff! I won't get punished." [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: That's probably because Curia keeps matters private. Rest assured, you'll get punished! [18:41] Anlysia Gregoire: \o/ [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: It is the nature of Curia to punish immediately, punish consistently, and punish privately. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Why privately? To mitigate damage, keep group drama low, and make the most of every situation with the least amount of impact. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: In many cases, if you report an individual . . don't expect to find out what happens to them! [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: But, considering I read the Curia report forums often. I want to make it pretty clear: about 95% of the reports have a big "Yes" under the "Were they punished?" box. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Don't mistake privacy for leniency. Kitsy'll kick your door down. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:44] Kytec Switchblade: She will, Ive seen it, I have nightmares... [18:44] Desereck Creeggan raises a hand. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Desereck: this better be serious. [18:45] Desereck Creeggan: This has been on my mind since i have been a cadet. Most demotions are private correct? [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Yes, they are. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: The point is not to shame the individual beyond the initial punishment. [18:46] Desereck Creeggan: Yes, I was just thinking about it since I've never seen someone get demoted in a meeting, meaning what you just stated :) [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Right! We're not in the business of humiliating anyone. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions? [18:46] Blameux Scribe raises hand. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Blameux. [18:47] Blameux Scribe: When are we restocking the butter in the fridge? [18:47] loki Cramer: >.> - [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic. [18:47] Sera Otoro: ... [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: If you have not taken the opportunity, please do check the forums in regards to recent drama with Vegna Fouroux and the information leaks from the Frumentarii. [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: For those of you who aren't aware: Vegna Fouroux was handed a collection of old Frumentarii notecards, logs, and other potentially embarrassing stuff from an ex-Ordo member. [18:49] Aryte Vesperia: Vegna Fouroux took the opportunity to write a New Jessie Journal article in regards to the information he was handed. [18:49] Aryte Vesperia: To be pretty frank . . go read it, it's hilarious. Vegna pretty much made the Frumentarii look incredibly epic. [18:49] Aryte Vesperia: There was nothing negative about it. [18:50] Aryte Vesperia: The information that was released is pretty dated and inconsequential within itself. [18:50] Sirus McMahon: i actually thought it read well, said it was based on loyalty ._. [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: If you have any questions as to the matter, feel free to drop it on the forum topic. Otherwise, not much to note there! [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: As Kytec mentioned, we're undertaking a new initiative to focus on foreign policy and building of relationships. As an organization, we must invest a great deal of care in being not only a progressive force internally, but externally. [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: Our participation within the Iron Symphony is an important one-- we are under very heavy scrutiny, from inside and outside sources. [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: As such, it is important we are all certain to exhibit the qualities we're taught: respect not only yourself, but your enemy. Honor the Ordo Imperialis, but realize the foe honors his groups as well. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: And most importantly, we must value our allies abroad. Although the Ordo is an extremely potent fighting force, the political heel would be a potential problem for us without the support of our friends. [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: We must remember that, even while some individuals may be staunchly against the Ordo--Takkun, from the Merczateers being one example--the groups these individuals come from are still our allies. [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: The Ordo is strong, cohesive, and brilliant on and off the field of combat. We value fairplay, but we play to win. [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: All in all, you should be very proud. [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:57] Blameux Scribe doesen't raise hand. [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Haha. [18:58] Aryte Vesperia: Great. One last topic from me! - [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: The idea of new armor is slowly becoming much more of a reality. I know we have a pool of interested parties, and now some pretty firm volunteering. We should be seeing progress here over time. [19:00] Aryte Vesperia: However, seperate to the armor, we do need to locate someone who has the capability and interest in tackling new dress attire for the Ordo. Clothing and the likes are sometimes are a bit more difficult to arrange, but we do have a need of replacing our current dress attire. Beyond that, our undersuits and Schola attire. [19:01] Aryte Vesperia: So, keep an ear open and an eye out. If anyone is interested or has an idea as to who, give me a nudge! [19:01] Aryte Vesperia: Any other topics to bring up this evening? [19:02] Niiya Narayan raises her hand [19:02] Lupus Mielziner raise his hand [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: Niiya, go right ahead. [19:02] Niiya Narayan: Just a few things... Firstly: could people please pick up their building projects when they aren't working on them. Building in Titan is permitted and encouraged, but leaving items out unnessicairily both adds extra data for all of us to download each time we visit, and it looks a mess when we have half-finished items all over our base. Secondly: please do not add to the base. I appreciate if people want to contribute or have ideas they'd like to share; please contact me if you do. But it puts me in an awkward position when i come to work on an area and find someone's already put a load of their own additions there. Similarly: please do not put posters, banners or pictures up around the base. if you have an image you would like to contribute; please contact myself and i will try and fit them in provided they are not high resolution and are in keeping with the base. [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Niiya. I agree. There are few things I enjoy more than destroying prim litter. [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Especially if you forgot to link it. [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Mmhmmhm. [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [19:04] Samia Perun: yes [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: Samia. [19:04] Anlysia Gregoire raises her hand. .o/ [19:04] Samia Perun: Define the limits of a hi-res image? [19:04] Samia Perun: just so we know what the x by x is [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: Niiya. [19:04] Phillip Hultcrantz: ...anything above 512x512 is "High-res" [19:04] Keller Teichmann: It's out lined in the munitorum forum. 512x512+ would be high res, I believe. [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [19:05] Samia Perun: right oh [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Anlysia. [19:05] Sosarin Demar: 512X512 is still high. [19:05] Anlysia Gregoire: Skip me, phone call. Doesn't matter. [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Roger. - [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Next topic. Lupus? [19:06] Lupus Mielziner: ukay its a topic about civillians and there rights ect 1 sec .. [19:06] Lupus Mielziner: I think we need to talk again about the civilian around .. there permissions or none permission cause in the last time we got some conflicts with civlians like ppl get annoyed .. .. , or offendet , of civillians with " speacial thread" wich come to the sim like a club as there entertaining walking trash disrespecting ordo members disrespecting given rules .. starting trouble and harras member .. i think we need to think about a conxept how to threat civillians in blobal .. even these " special " ones ... specialie if no one is around the y wisit and they just lurk around the sim and start stupid chats and inslut ppl for there joy or annoy them and start im chat with an members and show up no respect and inslut em ... i speak not only for me ... but we need a clear order or better a way to defeat us legal .... not everytime is a officer around who tell them to be wuiet ect they listen to [19:06] Lupus Mielziner: be got some trouble shoot situation the last week ppl get really pissed in and offendet ... [19:06] Lupus Mielziner: be =we [19:06] Lupus Mielziner: ( sry im a bit sleepy so excuse my worse grama ) [19:07] Aryte Vesperia: There are no special civilians. Every civilian is here under the same pretense of standards: at our leisure, unarmed, and in accordance to our expectations. [19:07] Aryte Vesperia: If at any time you have an incident with a Civilian, simply document it. They'll be summarily ejected and removed from the group. [19:07] Vinnie Lei raises hand [19:07] Hokusai Otsuka: (Spare Miko's pantslesness) [19:07] Keller Teichmann raises his hand. [19:07] Aryte Vesperia: You're capable of doing so without involving me. You only need to talk to one of the many Civilian Overseers. [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: Lot of the officers, for example, are one. As are many NCOs. [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: vinnie? [19:08] Vinnie Lei: You answered what I wanted to say sir. Go on :) [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: Keller. [19:08] Keller Teichmann: Well, pretty much said what I was going to say, but I was also going to ask if there was some way we could post a list of Overseers? [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: Actually, yes. [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: I will do so. [19:09] Desereck Creeggan raises hand. [19:09] Keller Teichmann nods. :D [19:09] Aryte Vesperia: (They are also all viewable in the civilian group.) [19:09] Aryte Vesperia: Desereck? [19:09] Desereck Creeggan: How does one become a Civilian Overseer? [19:09] Aryte Vesperia: You volunteer! [19:09] Aryte Vesperia: And you be at least E-3. [19:10] Desereck Creeggan: o_o that easy? [19:10] Raymond Donat raises hand [19:10] Keller Teichmann raises his hand again. c-c [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: Not hard. [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: Raymond? [19:10] Raymond Donat: Can I volunteer to oversee civilians? [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: I'll open a thread. [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: Keller [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: ? [19:11] Lupus Mielziner raise his paw [19:11] Keller Teichmann: Just wanted to add one more thing. We had an 'incident' this week where we found out a civilian was working with Chaos (Dynamic). If a situation like that comes up, where you run into them offsim and they're wearing a Chaos tag/ armor, that immediately gets them ejected and an Overseer should be contacted ASAP. D: [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: Correct! [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: And, overseers regularly purge randoms who've joined other groups, etc. [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: Or at least Zero was before Agares put him into a slave labor program. [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: Lupus? [19:12] Lupus Mielziner: so as clear definition if a civillian is cursing trouble or start to anny or harras we do nothing against him and report it to the overseer wich will enforce ? [19:12] Zero Itamae: (I still do! I just haven't gone through the whole group in a bit.) [19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Pff, naw. You just nudge your OIC and report it promptly. [19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Then your OIC can determine what to do. [19:13] Lupus Mielziner: *nods* [19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Civilians are typically friends of members. On the rare occassion, someone'll slip through who needs to be shotgunned. [19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Any last questions? [19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Great. [19:14] Samia Perun: yes sorry i have one [19:14] Aryte Vesperia: Samia. [19:14] Samia Perun: Just a sort of link here [19:14] Samia Perun: Could we have a subforum where we have known troublemakers listed? [19:14] Samia Perun: I know we have mercury [19:14] Samia Perun: but it doesnt give specificis [19:14] Samia Perun: and threads tend to get buried in the main forum [19:14] Vinnie Lei raises hand for a new topic. [19:14] Aryte Vesperia: That's possible, yes. [19:15] Aryte Vesperia: Subforum for troublemakers. [19:15] Samia Perun: especially useful for people like Melly and Moy who play ban-unban ping pong [19:15] Aryte Vesperia: So true. [19:15] Aryte Vesperia: I agree. I'll get Trevor to do it. [19:15] Aryte Vesperia: Vinnie. Last topic this evening. - [19:16] Trevor Russell: i heard my name <_< [19:16] Vinnie Lei: Raids are awesome and I wondered, as with a few others, if it would be possible to have a few raids implemented in the near future for we euro folks? [19:16] Samia Perun nods in agreement [19:16] Aryte Vesperia: Yep. Give me a time in SLT that'd be best for you. [19:16] Sera Otoro: anytime before 4pm slt [19:16] Aryte Vesperia: I would have no problem waking up way early to help you guys out. [19:16] Aryte Vesperia: Kk. [19:16] Samia Perun: :D [19:17] Sera Otoro: 4pm is midnight in GMT [19:17] Sera Otoro: 4pm SLT that is... [19:17] Aryte Vesperia: Got it. [19:17] Aryte Vesperia: Wow, you guy's are up late. 19. I'd like to recognize Aryte. For his patience, his ability to listen to each and every one of us and hear our troubles and questions, to take the time and answer each one. For his outstanding leadership. And also, added to that, his modesty; it's amazing how he yet demonstrates no swelled ego. Thanks, Imperator sir.
  20. That sort of thing happens usually when there is a confusion in the incident or the visitor does not think they have breached some rule. They then believe they have been killed for no reason. There would apply that it is perfectly acceptable by our terms to shoot them for whatever our needs be, even if it doesn't seem right to them.
  21. Considering the empty Frumentarii dossier passed out by a certain ejected someone not long ago, I don't think notecards would work very well. Maybe a new section on the forums with capabilities to add images, etc, that can be secured if needed. It's bad enough that that empty notecard was passed around and puts a bad image on us, but if stuff leaks out, like combat reports, with our morale-boosting bashes of the enemies, we're bound to see trouble.
