Le sigh.. I would very much love to jump back in to WoW. I'm part of the Horde.. I've got a level 40-ish Tauren hunter somewhere in limbo right now. I have the money for couple months' subscription, free to use. But I am kind of teetering on using it for something else. And it'd be kind of a waste because I'm so short on time right now.

~ORDO IMPERIALIS~ OFFICIAL DOCUMENT <=====================Extend to this length=========================> <===========================================================> **********Meeting Report********** NAME/RANK/DIVISION: Dascede Aluveaux | E-4; Tesserarius | Astra ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DATE: 08 October 2010 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUBJECT: Weekly topics ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUMMARY: Gear updates, diplomacy, etc. ============================================================ CHAT LOG: Meeting Opener [18:00] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Obligatory starter, as always: welcome to this week’s meeting. Per the norm, please be certain to hold all questions and comments until provided the opportunity to speak. Interruptions will result in dismissal from the gathering. When you are provided the chance to speak, be sure to /shout/ your comments or questions—otherwise the recorder may not hear you. Thank you: let’s get to it. Imperator's Report [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Statistics: Members: 308 (Super inactive folks being weeded ~ clipclip.) Cadets: 3 Applications New: 17 Accepted: 1 Denied: 12 Review: 4 Combat Defensive: 75 Offensive: 14 Allied Assist: 1 [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic occurrences this week . . . gosh, did anything even happen? Seems like a pretty calm period for the wonderful world of the military community. Some development with Zagan looking to join the Symphony as a hostile combat group—otherwise, there really is this eerie silence. That’s well and dandy: it is a great opportunity for the Ordo and the Symphony to wade out there and stir up some fun. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: It should be noted there has been a lot of transition over the community in general. CS has received a fairly dramatic blow from the Zagan break away, VAC/Furian Empire closed its doors after stagnation (although pledged another return), and EE went back/forth as a hostile-neutral party on account of some member actions. To clarify: EE is now neutral once more, after EE high command ejected Nad Warrior and demoted another individual for trying to start something with the Ordo. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Now, that brings me right into another topic: why not let combat go forward with EE and just call it a day? Honestly, I really do not want to risk stomping out what flame EE has—friend or foe, we want to grow the size of the community. When EE is ready, maybe we can start sparring. But at this point we have spent several months being their major supporter: to reverse that and go “all right, you’ve made us mad . . . bring on the waves of infantry,” could be more detrimental then combatively fun. Divisional Reports [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:06] FireFox Breed rises paw for terra [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Breed. Terra [18:07] FireFox Breed: From Teron for Antesignani: Members active in Titan Defense and abroad, with a squad training and meeting conducted despite 2142's interference this week. Miss Mousehold has elected to step down from her position within the squad but instead serve in a trainer capacity; the Squad as a whole would like to formally thank her for her services in her duty. Mr. Takakakura has then been appointed as XO of the squad, congradulations to him on his new position and thank you for stepping up. XCR and MGL are still pending, no update there. [18:07] FireFox Breed: From Eriksson for Invictus: Another quiet, but overall active week for most. Members of Invictus actively participated on numerous raids and defensive operations. We were allowed the opportunity to use the drop pods during the 2142 defensive operation in Titan, not much queuing and overall great fun for all. We've also recently inducted a new individual to the squad: Timbo Blachere. Hopefully in the coming week we'll be able to thoroughly drop pod test Chronus and melt the snow on landing. Looking ahead next week to plan a few trainings and raids with the other squads as well! [18:07] FireFox Breed: From Zrazor for Insidiae: With the recruitment of Winterz Silverfall, Insidiae is happy to report that its roster is completely full. Other than that, a fairly quiet week for the squad. [18:08] FireFox Breed: From Thatguy for Cohors B: More activity, as well as less activity. Cohors B will be having a meeting for the B staff, we'll be hammering out things as well as discussing small changes that will occur for the betterment of Cohors B. GETTING THIS TRAIN ON THE RUN, BITCHES. :] [18:08] FireFox Breed: And I like pie. That is all. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Next? [18:10] Agares Tretiak raises his hand. [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Tretiak? Praetorian Guard [18:11] Agares Tretiak: The Praetorian Guard is looking to improve it's infantry tactics with higher organization in raids and will likely hold a wide range of training exercies and raids following this new model, including non-Praetorian personnel in these exercises. [18:11] Agares Tretiak: That's about all, sir. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Astra [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Astra representative present? [18:11] Ethan Schuman raises his hand. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Schuman. [18:12] Ethan Schuman: (JUST got here) [18:12] Ethan Schuman: I'd like to start off by apologizing for the briefness of this report. As of late, Astra has had some personnel shakeups. Numinous Foxdale has moved into Aeternus, vacating the spot of Apostles XO. I've talked with Wolf about it, and I think we agree on the replacement. I have to run it Aryte for officiality, however. Secondly, I'd like to offer a welcome to Triplicarius Nrom Normandy. We are happy to have such a dedicated and talented individual with us, and I know you will go far. (He's OURS! Sucks to be you, Terra! Hahaha!) Third, I'm back from vacation, and finally have my new PC, so I will be personally taking out more Astra combat expeditions, even if we have to walk. The state of air combat in the community is far from what I'd like to see it in, but we'll continue to improve ourselves and our air combat skills regardless. In other news, our individual members have been taking on new projects. Training has been hosted, a new maze is awaiting approval, and (cross your fingers) we MAY have a new Astra [18:12] Ethan Schuman: builder. Wow. Had to start a new line for just one word. This concludes Astra's report for this week. [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: He sure to sent Numinous some congratulation spam. Their daughter was born .. last night, I believe. [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Be, rather. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? Tactica [18:14] Corsi Mousehold raises her hand. [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Mousehold. [18:15] Corsi Mousehold: For Tactica: Highly active and productive day this week for Tactica. As a note I want to thank everyone on the team for the hard work and dedication they are putting in this past week and over the next two weeks. The reason for this is that all reports have been assigned so there are no more reports waiting for assignment. Over the next two weeks, most of these reports should be completed. This week, updated are SLAD and Sturmkorps, while new reports have been added for WAW, AUL, and K-Brigade. Tactica is reporting a new military on the grid, Section South East, located in the sim of Savory. They are open for combat and are made up of members that have left Raven Raiders. As a note, these were some of their most active people so this may be the end for RR as their activity gets nuked. [18:15] Corsi Mousehold: BSM closed and are back open again, Walter is seriously thinking about a reconfigure of their objectives. Recent raids have had their members complaing about dying in their spawns because of the current placement being 20 meters away. At present, only five bases are closed for rebuild, unlike the summer where it seemed everyone took the summer vacation to rebuild. I think we are just waiting on a raid to finish up the 2142 report. In a nutshell, Tactica is in the best position we have been in for a long time. And last but not least, Welcoming Kithsuneca, Tsukiyomi, Winterz, and Johann to the team. Johann will be filling the Astra position and notating reports with tactics for Aircraft in various sims around the grid. We like popcorn. This concludes the report for Tactica. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Annny last reports? [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Super. Moving on. Keynote Topics [18:17] Aryte Vesperia: > Disembodied Update / Update in General on Gear Stuff [18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Hand (awkward name) had some unforeseen circumstances this week on account of . . . stuff. He should be back in action shortly and continuing work on secret Titan projects of great justice and epic proportions. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, let us run over the gear stuff that has been sitting on the production table. Communications Pack has been released and has seen a ton of use over this week—it is likely that it will be updated (Tsume is not aware of this lol; he is now if he is reading) to make it a tad more lethal. As in: the artillery strike will not be on position, but be based upon a thrown smoke grenade to call it down. There may also be some changes to the cool downs. The current limits sounded pretty awesome on paper. But in practice it has made the pack pretty lamesauce. Or. Well. Not as cool as it should be. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: The Engineering Pack is still waiting patiently on a couple of models to be added inside. Scripting wise, however, it is pretty much done. Ditto with the Assault Pack. [18:19] Tsume Xiao: >:( [18:20] Tsume Xiao: THIS IS WHY WE TEST EXTENSIVELY Dx [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Shh [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Our new mortar is rough modeled and coming along nicely (as I prod Keller regularly). Still eyeing . . . or rather, definitely going to be replacing the Adjudicator model and function with something not from 2006. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: > Promotion Minimum System Paper Portions [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: This week has essentially been a blur for me. Massive amounts of overtime and all that fun corporate junk. However, with what time I scraped up between passing out every night, I have largely compiled all the paper stuff needed to change around the promotion minimums. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: God willing, the full walkthrough will be updated this weekend and posted on the forums for your viewing pleasure. Server wise may take a bit longer, dependent upon how often I can pester Firefox and spellcheck his additions. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: It has shaped up pretty nicely, however. Incorporating some of the cool writings that members have tossed around over the forums as of late and making it a lot more linear. Gone will be the days of arbitrariness. Rejoice. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: > Chronus [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Next up: major kudos to Steeltael Lykin for strong arming a friend of his (Kelem..vor?) to do some work on Chronus. The build is actually pretty neat and . . . basically, almost, if not already finished. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: We will totally be rockin’ that sim for smaller scale combat and routine practice. Perhaps we will even give Steeltael Lykin a little hat and call him governor of Chronus. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Probably not, but he can dream. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Goin’ forward, we will try to make use of the region as often as possible and develop some standardized expectations specific to the sim to keep it enjoyable. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: When it is open, I would highly encourage unit leads and the likes to use it. A lot. Because we are paying for it. And it is cool. [18:26] Agares Tretiak: (Very cool) [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Questions thus far? [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Hokay. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: > Raid Progam Stuff [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: "Phase two" of the whole class dealio has began -- if you've not finished part one, no sweat. You've plenty of time. I'll continue poking people as I see them and start runnin' them through the series. Kudos to Acheron to being the first to hammer out part two. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: If I finish everyone's part two and you still haven't finished part one, then you . . well, that shouldn't be humanly possible at the speed this is going. So, get part one done before everyone else finishes their part two. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: > Script Time and You [18:30] Aryte Vesperia rubs his hands together. "Ho-boy. It's that time of the year again. Time for the annual script hunt." [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: What does that entail? A period of a lot of focus upon making things as efficient as we can manage. That means a couple o' things: [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Prune your avatars, please. Human, furry, whatever you are-- please create a seperate version of yourself for use in the Ordo. This will include me. As I will be .. suffering as I try to rip scripts out of my fifty copies of myself. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Every bit helps when you're talking on a scale of fifty folks on a region! So even prune inactive scripts. For example, if you have moveable ears and opt to turn that feature off: turn it off, then rip the script out. [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Click-able things, typing overriders (;_; turned mine off and detached the HUD, emoemo), expression controllers-- all of that sort of stuff. [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Also~ be sure to keep up to date with all your gear. Especially critical changes, like the merit grid we re-released a couple days ago. [18:36] Ethan Schuman raises his hand. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Schuman? [18:37] Ethan Schuman: Something I've been tossing around in my head is an optimized version of "common" scripts. A bare minimum AO, for instance, would save some resources. Alternatively, we could probably trim our HUD down a bit too if we wanted (and if Syl doesn't angryface and murder whoever asks). [18:38] Aryte Vesperia nodnods. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Annnyone else? [18:39] Tenyth Hirano raises hand. [18:39] Steeltael Lykin raises paw. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Hirano? [18:39] Zerowinged Vasiliev raises his hand. [18:40] Tenyth Hirano: Building a bit more on the HUD, as in CS, I'm sure a lot of you guys are aware of that monstrosity I had made to spam the ordo HUD. one thing we could do, is possibly add a couple of filters inside the hud, checking if the /1 is actually an avatar and not in the same group as you. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia nodnods. [18:40] Tenyth Hirano: that's all for me. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Thanks. [18:40] Zerowinged Vasiliev lowers hand [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Lykin? [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Lykin? [18:41] Steeltael Lykin: Not relating to the Scripting, But to Chronus. Chronus is a two level, or checkpoint build. The ground level is 95% complete with only a few minor additions, And scripting required. The second level, which is a complex. with a bit more of a CQC feel has just begun construction. The ground level however should be available for regular training exercises. I encourage them because I need input on abuses. I'm currently writing the ruleset that goes with this sim as wel. and your input is appreciated. [18:42] Tsume Xiao raises hand [18:42] Steeltael Lykin: That is all. Spam me with inquiries [18:44] Tsume Xiao: Is there a reason we really even need the channel 1 listener? If we still do for some reason, then at least it should be made toggleable. The Idea for filtering it may just defeat the purpose of it, if there is a defined purpose. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: It's a throwback to old HUD. Like. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: The grappling hook. [18:45] Tsume Xiao: But the grappling hook has an actual function. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: About a smuch as the /1 listener does. Since grappling hooks are banned. Everywhere. [18:45] Corsi Mousehold raises her hand. [18:46] Zrazor Rozenstrauch raises hand [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Mousehold? [18:46] Liam Macalroy raises his paw for a supershort side comment about the grappling hook [18:47] Corsi Mousehold: Not sure how we got onto the HUD but ... with the grapple could it be keyed to C toggleable so we stop shooting ourselves accidentally? :p [18:48] Tsume Xiao: That would conflict with so many items... [18:48] Tsume Xiao: c.c [18:48] Corsi Mousehold: Okay then Gesturebound. [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Grappling hook is likely going to go away. [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Rozenstrauch? [18:48] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: I find the channel 1 listener handy because it gives me feedback on channel 1 commands like reloading and such. It's absolutely useful. [18:48] Wulf Lykin: /mecrys [18:48] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: Furthermore, the grappling hook is useful -outside of combat. [18:49] Liam Macalroy: I wanted to say that they may be banned everywhere, but for those of us who don't have jetpacks or boostpacks yet, they're really helpful to get to places you otherwise can't without some sort of use. [18:49] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: Just for navigating around thebase more quickly and such. [18:49] Liam Macalroy: ^ This too [18:49] Marc Gravois: . [18:49] Zrazor Rozenstrauch: I'd vote to keep both. [18:50] Typhon Perun: If I might interject there was one sim we raided where the grapple came in very handy, while I forgot the name of the sim, the build was a large oil rig. [18:50] Corsi Mousehold: IX Legion and they banned the grapple after that raid. [18:50] Typhon Perun: Awwww [18:50] Tsume Xiao: The base can be navigated by either goto or the teleport syste, HOWEVER, the teleport to and from teh build zone is messed up because of the no entry parcel., which blocks the teleporter movement. [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: Orderly commentary. [18:52] Aryte Vesperia: Anything else? [18:52] Maverick Garfield: The barricades don't really do the job their designed for either, [18:52] Maverick Garfield: but they do make good choke points [18:53] Liam Macalroy raises his paw "I'd like to agree with the Barricades, they could be done away with, we only really use them for prim jumping now.." [18:53] Acheron Gloom: The barricades have saved my life plenty of times [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: They really don't generate any latency. [18:53] Acheron Gloom: and we can always improve them. [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: Anywho. Movin' on. [18:53] Crash Silverfall raises hand for an adding to the hud. [18:53] Crash Silverfall: nv m Meeting Closer [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Combat this evening. We haven't done something crazy in a while, so I will probably host a musket raid. [18:55] Tsume Xiao: If only our Nagants were ready :O [18:55] Crash Silverfall raises hand. [18:55] Tsume Xiao: Sorry everyone :< [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: No more out of turn commentary, thank you. [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions: [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Posted .. this eeevening. Or tomorrow morning. Totally tricked Huttser into think I'd finished them. [18:56] Huttser Ishelwood: >:[ [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Mwa-ha-ha~ [18:56] Liam Macalroy: >.> [18:56] Huttser Ishelwood: TERON, PRF please [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Reboot and such now. We'll be rockin' some muskets and bad accents in the next fifteen. [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed.

When you are provided the chance to speak, be sure to /shout/ your comments or questions—otherwise the recorder may not hear you. Thank you: let’s get to it. Imperator's Report [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Statistics: Members: 313 Cadets: 4 Applications New: 11 Accepted: 3 Denied: 8 Review: 0 Combat Defensive: 102 (+40) Offensive: 14 (+3) Allied Assist: 3 (-1) [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomacy issues will be covered in main portion. So. Unit reports this evening? Divisional Reports [18:03] SoulBinder Wolfstein raises his hand for Terra. [18:03] WolfShaman Warrior raises his hand. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Wolfstein. Terra [18:03] SoulBinder Wolfstein: One unit report missing this week, from insidiae. [18:03] SoulBinder Wolfstein: From Zanndor for Invictus: First off I'd like to welcome Endra Ashbourne into the squad. We now have 2 spots open so if you're looking to join Invictus, IM me (Zanndor Aeon) Or Eriksson Foxtrot and state your interest. Onto other announcements, continuesly high activity from the Invictus members. Invictus be on the look out, because we're going to be raiding frequently in the coming week. Also to add onto that note, people who are interested in the squad should ask to take part on the raids so you have better chances of being observed. [18:03] SoulBinder Wolfstein: From Corsi for Antesignani: One Ante raid held this week and for a change we have more on our watch list than we have spaces to fill so it might be that we could fill the squad up soon. Other than that, very good activity this week as well as being proud of the Euro members for staying up late so we could have the full squad in the group photo. Now if The Imperator would be so kind as to promote some of the people on our watch list we may be able to fill those remaining slots. [18:03] SoulBinder Wolfstein: From Eriksson for Victrix: Informative week for members of the Victrix squad. A good chunk of members participated in our meeting on Sunday, September 19th, 2010. The meeting was scheduled to primarily touch base with everyone, so we're all on the same page. I briefly talked about some things including, but not limited to: Alpha Squads, Squad Roles, Ordo Imperialis Involvement, and Activity. On another note, still looking for possible candidates to take on a few squad roles mentioned in the meeting, please take initiative and let me know if you're interested! As for PRFs; we've got a few done this week, don't be afraid to ask for one! This concludes the B-1 report for this week. [18:03] SoulBinder Wolfstein: From SteelTael for Rapax: We've held several training sessions and meetings over the course of this week. With the clearing of inactives We've had a statistical rise in participation. The team project is progressing as the members of Rapax work together. We'd like to welcome two new members to Rapax, Nightclaw & Pat, Welcome aboard guys! [18:03] SoulBinder Wolfstein: From Bizcut for Liberatrix: Activity is still low for the unit overall. There have been a couple of highlights to the activity as a couple of the units members have shown some strong homeland defense. We will continue to strive on the improvement of the units activity levels. [18:04] SoulBinder Wolfstein: This concludes Terra's report. [18:04] Heather McKay raises her hand. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Continuesly. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: That is all. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Warrior? Astra [18:05] WolfShaman Warrior shouts: Buisness as usual for Astra. We've had a couple Air engadgements and Dropship deployments. With 2142 and CS both having their sims on Access, Astra is going to be lacking in viable air to air Target until they open up. Palaestra is pretty much clear, we're gonna focus on reforming training methods and recruitment for the division I have Contacted CS in reguards to their new Head of their AD, They have stated that they should have a new commander appointed by this weekend, and thus a new point of contact for Air side Diplo. Finnaly, We'd like to also congratulate Nrom Normandy and Sebris Montpark in making it into the Apostles. I hope they like Rhinestones. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome. Good to hear with those two. That's awesome-- and I wasn't aware CS actually closed. Noted. Officium Curia [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: MmmKay? [18:06] Heather McKay: Just a quick announcement on my part. I neglected to welcome the four new members of Curia selected the week before last. Please welcome the new Lictors, Seb Yakan and Awanken Wasp, along with the new Consiliators Theodore Belgar and Vinnie Lei. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Aw snap. Nice. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Congratulations. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? [18:06] Huttser Ishelwood raises his paw Tactica [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Ishelwood? [18:07] Huttser Ishelwood: It is a sad day. Task Force 141 has been eliminated. We're blaming SLAD. Not really but it seemed appropriate. We've started getting a bit more chatter with Ark amazingly enough and bounced ideas off each other. Tactica meeting held earlier this week. Got a few things ironed out and settled. From there we will be assigning the last bases out to everyone and getting the Tactica board project hopefully finished. IX Legion is in Rebuild ... again. Minor changes were made to WAW and BSM's bases. We contacted the people over at PI and they are saying a scheduled opening time of one week. In SL military time that means about three weeks. Two new militaries and a possible third are hitting the grid. Order of Aurora is confirmed to be in build though Liana Pera gave an oath not to tell me their location. Zagan Empire is brand new and is beign commanded by Genostrike Sautereau, and a possible group unconfirmed is Colonial Defense Foundation On the board, CS has been moved to Imperator status and in turn, all TAC mili [18:07] Huttser Ishelwood: taries are now officer presence and above. Last but not least. A few others have shuffled around on the board. Finnay, 2142 should be opening in the next few days with a brand new sim build And as always if you find a military before we do, let us know and we can gather the info for them. [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Oh clever. Modern Warfare pun. [18:08] Huttser Ishelwood: \o/ [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Order of Auroura, for the record .. Titus Valerian's group. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Requested a cease fire/neutrality with us. We'll oblige. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Any other reports? [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Cool beans. Keynote Topics [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Hey I didn't pre type anything. So watch as I do this on the fly. It'll be pretty cool. [18:10] Aryte Vesperia unfurls his notes. [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Disemobided Hand update: [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: He's working on a new BDU for our allies in the Merczateers. T hen I have him tasked to working on a Titan project. After which he'll resume Ordo specific duties. The TI project shouldn't take very long .. buuut it is pretty important. Since paying for the sim is cool. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Er.. not a new BDU. A new dress uniform. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: So yay for the Merczateers! [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: In regards to general updates: the backpacks are basically done. I'll harrass Tsume for copies of the completed ones and get them into the lockers for distribution. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: I believe we're waiting on a barbed wire model for the engineering pack. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, everything else is a-OK. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: It'll be the cheapest of the QP packs. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Toying with the idea of 50 QP~ [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Group picture: [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: I'll have the "raw" stuff uploaded. Otherwise, going to tackle Intus or Waffle to piece them together and make it look pretty. We had abooout sixty eight participants. The awesome part was, unlike last year (haha), everyone who showed up are actually active members, rather then folks I haven't seen in six months. [18:17] Aryte Vesperia: I realized just now I spoke of having a tech demo after the picture. That obviously didn't happen because we all went and raided ... everyone. So we'll actually do a tech demo some other time in the near future. [18:18] Xayvien Rau: Will Cypher's breasts be part of the exhibit? [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: They were last year. So yes. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Promotion expanion/revision: [18:18] Jayce Iredell: :> [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Expansion, rather! [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Hey did everyone notice there's like .. five things to each promotion grade that don't actually ever get done because they're miserably hard to track? [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Probably not, but I did! [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: I've idly been toying with the idea of changing those for a few weeks. I've found enough fun stuff to replace them, so, I am going to go ahead and do that! [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Example: [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: " c. One documented sit-down with commanding officer of respective unit assignment to examine opportunity to contribute, express concerns, and to discuss routes of improvement. Transcript/meeting notes must be provided to Imperator. Commanding officer files counseling statement as record of this event." [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Letter of recommendations and all that jazz. Sounded cool on paper, but, not effective. Sooo I am going to replace them with more manageable ways to prepare folks. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: (Or make the existing ones more manageable/easier to understand.) [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: To clarify: recommending folks will still exist. But I meant more along the lines of . . [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: One of the specific requirements for E-7 was "you need your officers to write me a letter about how awesome you are." [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: When by practice, E-7 is largely a "oh, you're a unit leader or an adjutant .. or something like that." [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: What you can expect: prooobably a few more mindset/management direct stuff. For example, I will more than likely confiscating (with his permission), some of the articles Nrom has written. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: In short: expanding and revising the current minimum requirements to make it more informative. It won't be scary, I promise. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Next up, covering some diplomatic events in depth. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: First up. Cthonic Syndicate has been essentially gutted. By our count .. something like eight out of ten officers bailed. No idea how many NCOs/enlistees. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: They've parted ways with Mayra Roffo after some sort of disagreement-- most seem to have joined Zagan. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Some big names, like Roudy, went to Merczateers. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: That's a fairly big kick in the nuts, unfortunately. Regardless of the difficulties with CS, fighting them is usually enjoyable. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: We'll see how things pan out. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Exilion Enclave. After a few events that weren't so pretty (members of theirs snooping our coms, misbehaving on region, and standing around as Ordo reinforcements got blackscreened in their hub . . ), we've decided to withdraw our assistance to them. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: I am not speculating hostility at this point, however there is really a lack of reason for the Ordo to continue to try to be helpful whilst some EE personnel are given free reign to act like .. for a lack of more eloquent terms, douchebags. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: What EE members haven't gotten themselves banned are still more than welcome to visit, albeit unarmed. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:32] Wulf Lykin: /raises a paw [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Lykin? [18:33] Wulf Lykin: well i was wondering why afevis joined them, i asked him why he left us but ignored me and the next day unfriended me. something happend? [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Ah-- uhh. Afevis opted to try to give a smaller group his more direct assistance. [18:33] Huttser Ishelwood raises paw [18:33] Wulf Lykin: alright [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Nothing occured within the Ordo to drive 'em away or something of the sort. That, and he's dating an EE member. Two and two, etc. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Ishelwood? [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: I like that last name. Ishelwood. [18:34] Huttser Ishelwood: Hah, thanks. Any objections to my continued participation in managing Exilion Defence Industires? The company that pays for EE's sims, or party pays atleast [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: No, that's quite OK. [18:36] Huttser Ishelwood: Danke [18:37] Aryte Vesperia checks that off his list. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Raid program: [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: If you were part of the original volunteer list, you've been selected. I will be going down it .. basically alphabetically. I will trryyyyy (see: try) to get the first phase of it hashed out for all volunteers this week. After which, I'll tag folks daily to go run raids and observe while sipping tea. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: It will be a lot of work for a couple of weeks, but the outcome will be more than awesome. Increasing the Ordo raid leader pool by . . something like twelve people. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Thumbs up to that, ja. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: I've seen a lot of "oo, I want in~" follow up messages. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: There'll be another group after this one. Have no fear. I just .. intended to only select five folks. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: But everyone who volunteered was awesome. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Tank courses: ugh~ I know everyone is waiting for another one of these. I'll do it myself if I have to. Sory for the delay. Mr. Xiao has been slave labored for major projects. I'll make a note to find a time appropriate and plop down a volunteer list. SO, keep your eyes open on the forums. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Working weekend: [18:41] Corsi Mousehold raises her hand. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: (Yes, Corsi. We can figure that out. I know your question.) [18:41] Corsi Mousehold: ( \o/ ) [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: As I was saying. For some reason I have a strange amount of energy. I'll be trying to get some projects tied up this weekend. So don't mind me if I'm off/on/hiding in a corner all night and tomorrow. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Toniiiight . . I'll try to pawn the raid off on someone else, so I can get to workin'. But if I have time, I'll lead one myself tomorrow. [18:43] Huttser Ishelwood: o/ Promotions [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions will be up tomorrow morning. Everyone apparently read my merit recommendation policy post and decided to get to it. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: I have a crap ton of recommendations. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Like oh god. [18:44] Jake Stoanes raises hand [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Stoanes? [18:44] Jake Stoanes: I'd like to apologize about mine, I sent them before you made the post about format... so... yeah. Sorry. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: That's okay. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: If it's in a notecard, I am happy/ [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: If you IM it to me or text it to me, I am not very happy. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: (Trinity Heckroth.) [18:45] Johann Wilberg raises his hand. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Wilber-g? [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Wiiillbeeer~ [18:46] Johann Wilberg: o.o [18:46] Johann Wilberg: Uh... Where is this post? Trying to find it. :x [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Policy! [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: Top of list. [18:47] Johann Wilberg: Viel'n dank. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Veal sounds good. [18:47] Kiyaru Kanto: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/9756-ordo-merit-recommendations-and-you/page__pid__71771#entry71771 [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Oh don't make it easy for him. [18:47] Johann Wilberg: Veal is <3. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Aw. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Aw. [18:47] Johann Wilberg: I found it before the link was posted. [18:47] Johann Wilberg: So there. [18:47] Johann Wilberg: Sorry to interrupt. :V Meeting Closer [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you all for sitting through another "Aryte had no notes" meeting. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: You're all free. Have a good night.

Interruptions will result in dismissal from the gathering. When you are provided the chance to speak, be sure to /shout/ your comments or questions—otherwise the recorder may not hear you. Divisional Reports [17:59] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [17:59] Trinity Heckroth raises hand [17:59] Aryte Vesperia: Heckroth. Astra [17:59] Trinity Heckroth shouts: From Blaze for Apostles there is no real change with teh apostles status from lest week, i just picked up Nrom and Sebris into the group in the last two hours is about the long and short of it. [17:59] Trinity Heckroth shouts: From Wolfshaman for the Tactical Squadron Pretty much a slow week. Most of the squadron seems to be tied up with RL stuff or Computer issues on one level or another. A couple new pilots have passed flight training and have been assigned to active flights. We've been seeing an increase in Air related deployments both in fighter and dropship ops. [17:59] Trinity Heckroth shouts: For Palaestra Lots of training this week, and interest is up in the division as a whole. Working on a module for flight intro to use in schola. My school quarter is starting up Monday, but my schedule is pretty spaced, and it's an easy quarter, so, activity on my end may dip, but shouldn't be noticeable. On that note, we're looking for trainers. Anyone interested should read the forum topic in the Astrum Palaestra forum! [17:59] Typhon Perun raises a hand. [17:59] Trinity Heckroth shouts: General notes on Astra as a whole: The bomb system has been posted in Astra Staff Forums For Astra HC To approve and forward on to Anly and Munitorium. Hammerdown activity is expected to pick up next week. Slacked off this week due to my having to switch my schedule around. Other than that, we need model builders for a new Predator model, and also for our brand new Assault ship which is yet to be named. If anyone is a plane builder, please send me an IM! [17:59] Trinity Heckroth shouts: This concludes our weekly report. [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Perun? [18:00] Typhon Perun: For Cohors B. [18:00] SoulBinder Wolfstein raises hand for Terra [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Oh-- Wolfstein, then. Terra [18:00] SoulBinder Wolfstein shouts: From Corsi for Antesignani: One training and one Semi formal raid held with Insidiae. Good activity and we took some time to scout out a couple of possible new additions. For those applying to Ante, remember we do take our time with applications. It's a voting process. Moving on from there we are still looking at a good solid activity from all members of the squad and honing our skills to focus on the different aspects of our training in our peice of the Alpha Squad puzzle. [18:01] SoulBinder Wolfstein shouts: From Eriksson for Invictus: Exceptionally high activity once again this week for Invictus. We'll likely be getting the Vesica ACR w/ an underslung grenade launcher to replace our X-AR9 as a primary weapon, as decided from the group's consensus. Eriksson took the squad out for a drop pod training on formation, drop accuracy, and 'soft' landings this week; Very good turn out on that, and impressive results. As a general notice: Invictus currently has two(2) vacancies in the roster, and actively looking for two individuals to fill those open slots! [18:01] SoulBinder Wolfstein shouts: From Kiyaru for Insidiae: Squad activity has seen a rise in the last week, with two new members to welcome: Mokosh Pawpad and Zayth Luga the squad has seen a steady growth in numbers, strength and activity. Also proven by the fact we've had our first insid raid in a long time again lead by Kiyaru. All in all good week and a bright future prospectus for insid's activity, which I am expecting will grow even more in the next month or so. [18:01] SoulBinder Wolfstein shouts: From Eriksson for Victrix: Constructive week after command meeting, went through the entire roster asking everyone individually if they have any questions, comments, or concerns. Nothing to note but: Got a recent inactive individual back up to active status, and settled back in from his leave of absence. I plan on holding a official squad meeting sometime within the next day or so; See attached Meeting outline. As for squad activity, for the most part: Active. Some seem to be dropping in activity slightly, but I'll give certain individuals a nudge on their shoulder. Most keynotes are addressed in my meeting outline. As self-reminder: Still looking for possible XO candidates for B-1 preferrably Jr. NCO's, would like to allow them the opportunity at a mild command position to help them reach their future ambitions. [18:01] SoulBinder Wolfstein shouts: From Steeltael for Rapax: Another week of high activity and participation from B-2. Morale seems high and with several projects on the horizon for the team to combine their talents on, things are looking up for B-2. A lengthy engagement at Badnarik with B-2 members was one of the highlights of the week. As several individuals showed outstanding endurance in a lengthy 3 hour defensive engagement. Members continue to VERY routeinly engage in training sessions without my encouragement or prodding. Taking a proactive approach to practice and training to improve their skills during off hours. [18:01] SoulBinder Wolfstein shouts: From Bizcut for Liberatrix: I was informed by a general notice to Terra that I was to be the new acting CO for this unit. I am sorry to report that as it was less then a day until the unit report was due I have not had time to do a very detailed report on the status of the unit. I have had 1 request for a PRF that I am trying to follow up on and 1 person the acknowledged my IM about my temporary position with a friends request. I will be getting to know the people in the unit better and how to serve them better and make thier time in the Ordo more productive. [18:02] Agares Tretiak raises his hand. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Tretiak? Praetorian Guard [18:02] Agares Tretiak shouts: The Praetorian Guard will be involved in a large combat action after the meeting and photo-shoot. Also, we look nice in our armor! Thank you Disembodied. [18:03] Agares Tretiak: That's all, sir. [18:03] Corsi Mousehold raises her hand [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Mousehold. Tactica [18:03] Corsi Mousehold: For Tactica: Starting things for Tactica we have K Brigade coming up and around. It's looking more like Task Force 141 is playing games more than coming around since we haven't been able to get a hold of them at all. Oh and I am proud and honored to say ... P.ILL.'s here ... We got a location of Proeliator Illegitimate, lardmark, rules and so on though they have not opened. The Tactica board will be shifting around a bit as we take the time this week to re-evaluate our stance on raid targets and who can go where. In fact since this is written on Thursday, It's probably already done so go have a look. Final note we do have openings for tactically minded people so if when you are on a raid and think at any time about something that you feel would work better than randomly parading over a hill, Join Tactica! [18:03] Arokh Takakura raises hand [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. :] [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Ta...kakkakakura? Officium Curia [18:05] Arokh Takakura: Just to welcome and congratulate a recent addition to Curia. Theodore Belgar, our new second Consilliator, speak to him, or me, for all your counselling or work-relation needs! [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Awesome. :D [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Moving on: Keynote Topics [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Tonight we will be discussing the state of the Ordo. As promised some months ago, every quarter period of the year, we will spend a group meeting presenting a detailed review. [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: As part of the presentation, we will go over both areas of success and areas of improvement. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Presently, the Ordo Imperialis stands well over three hundred members. That alone is an incredible feat. Our activity level is rarely rivaled-- on many occassions, our on-base present numbers extends beyond most other groups combined. We have the constant capability to field military units, regardless of the hour of the day. [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Our primary focus over the last three months have been internal development. We have demonstrated this focus by placing closer attention to educational processess, material construction, and ensuring membership retention remains high. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Under the Imperial Education Administration, the Ludi and Armatura are currently undergoing widespread revision and implementation. This will provide all members a large opportunity to expand their horizons and find new opportunities. The Ludi will soon be providing in depth courses-- such as routine armored academies, artillery school, and air assault courses. Armatura will provide more in depth technical courses, with instruction that will benefit all personnel, on and off the battlefield. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Going forward, we will increase the prowess of new cadets by updating and enhancing Schola. All exams will be modular, and, more emphasis will be placed upon allowing cadets the opportunity to explore all options of the Ordo, such as flight orientation. [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Our material additions have come in leaps and bounds. As of current, 80% of major divisions now have a modular uniform variant, providing them identity while maintaining the Ordo's image. Within the next couple of weeks, all major divisions and desired additional extras will be accounted for, eliminating the need for any third party additions. This will greatly increase uniformity and appearance. [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Weaponry wise, the Ordo is steadily phasing out old weaponry, replacing and updating our armory-- the Mp5k, for example, is now replaced by the amazingly beautiful PDR. Our melee choices will soon be enhanced by low prim, high detail sculpted knife. Our tanks will be undergoing major revisions, improving functionality and lethality. In addition to all of this, our armory expansion will soon include all of the backpack choices and a host of new firearms (such as the caseless project headed up by Keller). [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: As for retention, the Ordo continues to maintain a strong internal cohesion, with continued focus on administrative efforts and atmosphere that benefits the individual member. Over the last several months, pressure has been increased on command personnel to approach their individual commands, to ensure the needs and concerns of every member, E-1 to O-5, are met. [18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Officers have fathered an innovative tracking for concerns and incidents, maintaining a comprehensive database of any issues that arise: reoccurring themes are noted and dealt with. Members who express concerns are treated with reverence, and, if solvable, the administration works diligently to make it happen. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: As part of keeping the Ordo's retention tailored and clear, inactive individuals are routinely contacted for check-up purposes: responding inactives are put into reserve lists, ensuring they're able to participate when able. Non-responding inactives are provided ample chance to check in, failing that, they are removed from the group in an ongoing effort to keep our numbers relevant, rather then fluff. [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: The areas of improvement that I wish to focus upon are .. well, fairly extensive: but, such is the Ordo. We never settle for "it works." We want what works best. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Foremost, I wish to develop expansion to the current promotion exam system, investing heavier interest in teaching integral command talents to the upper NCO promotions. For example, detailing how to handle reports, incidents, and providing proper feedback to individuals within their command. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Beyond that, I am making it a personal task to develop a more effective and systematic way to determine promotions to E-8 and O-1. This will include a detailed officer primer, testing individuals on their inherent traits and talents, ensuring new officers are prepared for the administration task and will be able to competently make decisions to effect policy. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Next, I wish to ensure that down time within the Ordo is filled with interesting events and opportunities to participate. An idea was presented some weeks ago by Eliza-- we will be going forward with it now that the time is available to stock it with the necessary items. Beyond that, we will continue to ensure the Ordo is as immersive as possible, providing far more then combat entertainment. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: However, as combat opportunities are important to us, we will make all available efforts to expand the number of individuals confident and prepared to lead raids-- I will personally teach raid leaders. The first class of individuals is now forming. Defensively, we will continue the new build design in the sky and push as fast as possible to make it useable, in order to enrich combat here in Titan. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Finally, we will focus on the importance of accountability-- both by following regulations, and accountability in position. More attention will be paid to individuals holding position of power: command positions will continue to maintain their expected responsibilities, and command positions will receive more critical feedback on performance. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: I can say without a doubt: the Ordo is stronger than it was the last time we carried out a report. We continue to improve. We continue to grow. I remain impressed and look forward to the future anxiously. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Tonight, we will commemorate another year with a major group photo. We will form in ranks, so be sure to position yourself appropriately on the designated spots. If able, please log onto Ventrilo so that I may direct you when the time comes. Please note I said "I will direct." As in, shhh, don't tell people where to move unless you're me. [18:28] Sebris Montpark: lawl [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: If possible, dress within your unit's unique mod-- if you are not, you are not to line up with that unit. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: For example, if you are an Antesignani leader, but are not wearing the mod . . line up with whomever is wearing equivalent attire. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Dress uniforms will form the center front row, with the Guard alongside. [18:30] josey Bingyi raises hand? [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Armor will be center back row. Unique sets will be on the wings of the assembly. Astra in flight suits will count as part of the unique sets. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Group up closest to the center of your area as you can, that way everyone is centered around my position. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: The spot of gathering is on top of the base at Ruin's position. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Antesignani will be on the green spots. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Insidiae on the pink spots. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Invictus on red. Astra on blue. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Arokh .. will stand behind the green. [18:31] Arokh Takakura: :C [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: You will all be given ten minutes to get up there. At that time, I'll send a notice to the rest of the group. Meeting Closer [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Oh .. promotions are posted. Snap~ [18:32] Sebris Montpark: :O [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: On that note. Good meeting and thank you. Start migrating. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia clasps his fist to his chest, presenting a salute.

[18:02] Aryte Vesperia shouts: I have quite a few items to go over. So. Let's rock. Imperator's Report [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: > Statistics: Members: 315 Cadets: 2 Applications New: 14 Accepted: 6 Denied: 5 Review: 3 Combat Defensive: 95 (wow, +2 from last week) Offensive: 7 (less than usual, shame! >:o) Allied Assist: 3 [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: (23 from last week, not 2.) [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: This week has been fairly uneventful in the diplomatic department. It has been quiet on and off the field. We have seen a decline in TAC interactions—somewhat by choice, somewhat by activity. A couple of battles occurred with 2142 and CS early week, otherwise, we have been focusing on unaffiliated groups. There’s no real particular reason. It just seemed to work out that way. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Operation Hammerdown is still ongoing and will continue for the foreseeable future. As such, we will continue placing a focus on the deployment of our air assets. [18:03] Delious Colman is Offline [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: As a side note: wow, even during school period starting, our activity is through the roof. That is really awesome, guys. Most militaries slow to a halt when school starts. Which reminds me I need to get that fishing thing done. Oops. Divisional Reports [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports, ja? [18:04] Keller Teichmann raises his hand, for Terra. Terra [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: Terra, go ahead. [18:04] Agares Tretiak raises his hand, as well. [18:04] Keller Teichmann: Fire isn't here, so I cobbled together the reports from each unit. First... From Cohors A; [18:05] Keller Teichmann: Invictus - "As per the norm: Very high activity in Invictus, school doesn't seem to be a gigantic issue for us. On progress with thinking of a replacement for our aged X-AR9, we've been playing with a few ideas for replacements after getting the survey's back from each member of the squad and analysing them. On another note: We've been pretty hard at work selecting people to fill the vacant spots in our Roster. A warm congratulations our newest though: Kynnaria Merlin. As a general reminder: We've only got one(1) spot left vacant, and we've got a pretty big list of potential fillers for the role, if you think you have what it takes to get into Invictus, then contact either Eriksson Foxtrot or Zanndor Aeon and state your interest! That's all to report this week!" [18:05] Keller Teichmann: Antesignani - "Bit of a light week training wise. Only one casual training held. Mostly due to a week of bad timing. Everyone seemed to be spread out over the days. Which really isn't a bad thing since that meant we had coverage on the line virtually at all times. We have a few people we are looking at to fill up the last remaining slots on the team and although the week has been slow training wise we are pleased to say that more of the squad has been getting active elsewhere in the Ordo. As of today, out of the nine members of Ante, eight of them are active in more than just the squad. With any luck we might fill the squad in the next couple of weeks." [18:05] Keller Teichmann: Insidiae - "Insidiae's armor mod was released this week. Other than that, extremely slow week. Blame Starcraft 2." [18:05] Keller Teichmann: Annnnd from Cohors B - "A great week for Cohors B, activity going up as well as new members being added to Ordo's roster. Century III has lost a CO, though Desereck will be the temporary CO (for those in B-III, Desereck's your temp go-to guy). We'll be looking around for a new CO, probably will have the apps on the forums, so keep an eye out for a command spot :]" [18:05] Keller Teichmann: That's all I have. c.c; [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Tretiak? [18:06] Blaze Wiles raises paw Praetorian Guard [18:07] Agares Tretiak: The Praetorian Guard has experienced a minor drop in participation, though this was not unanticipated, due to the beginning of classes. A step up in training will begin, when our streamlined infantry doctrine is finished. Otherwise, things have been quiet and we look forward to receiving our armor soon. [18:07] Agares Tretiak: That's about it. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Wiles? Astra [18:08] Blaze Wiles: It's been a slow week in astra, we're definatly starting to feel the pinch of school starting up once more, but Training has been progressing at a steady pace, I'd like to thank Lysander for holding a session yesterday and to all those who turned up for it. Also to those who deploied to provide air cover for Mercz earlier this week. [18:08] Blaze Wiles: We're made some progress with the Small bomb unit, but we are still in need of a texturer for the project, as well as a builder/Sculpter for several other projects, namely a replacement airframe for the Predator and the assult dropship project. [18:08] Blaze Wiles: I apologise for the relitive inactivity of the apostles of late, IRL has been the bane of my existance as well of late, but fear not I have not forgot about those who are interested and will be contacting them soon. That ends Astra's report for this week. [18:09] Corsi Mousehold raises her hand [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Mousehold? Tactica [18:09] Corsi Mousehold shouts: For Tactica: Starting things off from Tactica, New Military hitting the grid named Accep. Amazingly enough they are open for combat! At the time of writing this report we have not engaged in combat with them. They are located in the sim SmallVille and have been added to the Tactica board in the Radar room. No we did not get this information from a tall guy dressed in primary colors. Sturmkorps have reopened again and our first assault onto thier base provided an abundance of information about tactics of assaulting their homeland. We have new reports in the folders and ... actually that's about it. If anyone would be interested in joining Tactica, we do have a great amount of work we have left to do and slots to fill. Contact myself, Huttser Ishelwood, or Kyra Vixen. This concludes the report for Tactica. [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Movin' on. Keynote Topics [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: > Disembodied Update [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Right on schedule, Disembodied has completed the Insidiae mod. That leaves the Guard and Apostles for variants. The Guard’s is currently under work—he expects to be done with it pretty quick. After which, the Apostles will be granted a special flight suit and headgear. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Some talk has been passed around that the officers should receive a variant of their own. I will look into that and see what we can come up with. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: After the Apostle mod, however, we are going to look at doin’ either the heavy project (mech, etc), or going back to add some miscellaneous stuff for the main set of the UCA—such as a normal helmet and the different boots for digi. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Also he plays Zerg on SC2. [18:12] Disembodied Hand: jealous. [18:12] Krin Redgrave: what a baddie [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: MMmm. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: > Raid Lead Opportunity [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: A couple days ago I posted a thread up, offering folks the opportunity to volunteer for raid leadership practice. The basic expectation is to be at least an NCO to participate. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: I will stop taking volunteers as of Sunday, so head on over and throw your name in the box if you’re interested in giving it a try. [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: What volunteers can expect is this: [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: A series of elimination practices until no more then five candidates remain. After which, I will run the candidates through both classroom and live fire practices until I feel confident that they are strong raid leaders. By statute, at the rank [E-5], an NCO can begin volunteering to lead raids—that will remain, of course, but the purpose of the course is to empower folks to want to use that power. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: What I see a lot of is: 30+ folks on base waiting for action, but no raid leaders (or folks confident enough to lead raids) available to take out a force. Raid leadership is challenging, to be sure, so I am looking to build a large pool of folks who’re entirely prepared for that challenge. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: After this first round of tutoring, I will open a second round. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: As a side note to that—several folks have inquired about more armor courses. I will see to it! Sorry about the delay. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:14] Marc Gravois raises paw [18:14] Mark Karlfeldt raises hand [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: . . haha. Marc and Mark. [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Marc? [18:15] Disembodied Hand raises self [18:15] Marc Gravois: is it still possible for those of an NCO rank to lead a raid on an NCO target, without being an "official" raid leader, as long as everything ok's with you [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: It is. This isn't so much of . . "making you official," it's "teachin' how to do it if you wanna." [18:16] Marc Gravois: if i may continue? [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Yes? [18:18] Marc Gravois: why then limit the class to those who pass through a trial of fire, its understandable that having a raid leader who can kill stuff is good, but might exclude those who run on slower computers, but are very good and willing leaders [18:18] Lyle Watanabe raises the dead [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Because the trial of fire is related to leadership, not your computer's speed. And, I don't have the time of day to teach all fifty volunteers. Batches of five is manageable. [18:18] Marc Gravois: alright, thank you [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Mark? [18:19] Mark Karlfeldt shouts: Where's the thread at. I can't find it. >:| [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: IEA main thread. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: . . which I am pretty sure you can all see. [18:19] Lysander Serrari raises hand [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Cool beans. [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Disembodied. [18:21] Disembodied Hand: Will this oppertunity remain open for those who will be NCO's after the acception date? (sunday you said?) [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: I will continue teaching batches, yes. [18:21] Disembodied Hand: ty [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Lyle, did you have a question? [18:22] Lyle Watanabe: No sir everyone was raising something and I felt like being obnoxious [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: I see. [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: Last question, then. Lysander? [18:23] Lysander Serrari: Is their a possibility if not many volunteers put there names forward or another reason, that the rank requirement of E-5 will drop, or will it definatley be E-5? [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Scroll two posts down. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Someone begged for E-4 and I relented. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Then Acheron failed to ask for E-3. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Movin' on. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: > All command positions invited to a dialog on Sunday, 4:00 PM SLT. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Tomorrow I am going to continue the “Aryte teachin’ stuff” tradition when he'd rather be sleeping. At 4:00 I will be hosting a little discussion for all command positions—XOs, COs, flight leads, cohors leads . . . all invited! We will be going over effective command practices, and maintaining order. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: It’ll be a formal dialog, so dress accordingly. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Next up: [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: > Dun bother the builders. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Per request of Munitorum: leave them alone. As in . . do not go up to the new build and ramp vehicles off the tops of the buildings, or leave clutter for the builders to deal with. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Nikki has my permission to grief you with admin powers if you bother her. Like freeze you and play hockey off the sim border (I love doing that to Kastrenzo). [18:26] Nikki4 Aquitaine shouts: :> [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Next up: [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: > OIC [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Just a little remiiindeeer. Please make all efforts to keep the power of OIC in the hands of NCO+. Preferably an officer with an NCO (or enlisted) as SoG. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Although I totally think my Numerii are cool and have a good head on their shoulders, it's definitely a better idea that . . y'know, the old folks in their veteran wheelchairs take it. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Awesomecakes. Thanks. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: > Legates Change-Ups [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: As you are all aware of at this point (or should be), Firefox Breed was appointed the ranking Terra officer, Legates, a couple weeks ago. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: At this time, Astra's command is about to make the same shift. Sosarin Demar has been in the process of retiring for some months now, diligently staying on task to help Astra refine itself while the officer cadre situated. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Within the next couple of days, Sosarin Demar will be trading in his Nemesis for his retiree golfclubs. I will be holding the command role in Astra until an officer is groomed for the spot. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Sosarin Demar's time in service is one that has been marked with huge successess. He redesigned Astra when he was an E-2. His active participation will be missed, but, his presence will go on in an advisory role. [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: The Praetorian Guard (happy birthday Kytec) will also be seeing a shift in command. Mr. Switchblade has made the difficult decision to step back in order to focus on his career off SL. He will continue his service as a Praetorian, but has signaled his desire to be replaced as Praefectus. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Agares Tretiak has been tapped as his immediate successor and will assume Praefectus status, effective immediately. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Congratulations, Prafectus Tretiak. [18:34] Ron Bleac claps. [18:34] Corsi Mousehold applauds. [18:34] Typhon Perun golf claps. [18:34] Achtai Coronet claps! [18:34] Arokh Takakura bangs his standard in applause. [18:34] Vinnie Lei hi5!'s [18:34] Dascede Aluveaux applauds as wells. [18:34] Dascede Aluveaux: well* [18:34] Maverick Garfield applauds [18:34] Fox Cheri applauds [18:34] Lanny Ansar flails. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!" dons football helmet. [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: Yaaay. [18:35] Steeltael Lykin applauds rigerously [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: > Group Photo / Celebration [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: (Moving on.) [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: I'm kind of a sadist. In the sense that group photographs as of late have been used to terrorize other militaries as a "omg about to be attacked." [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: SO~ next Saturday. Right after the meeting. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: We're having our group photo for the year. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: We will be doing it in unit mix-- with all our new pretty gear. Officers lined up in attire coats, units in specific gear, flight suits, etc. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: SO GET THOSE FIT IF YOU HAVEN'T YET. 7 day notice! [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: We will also use the opportunity to celebrate promotions and have a little tech demo. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Our last group photo had /72/ participants. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Aaand last topic from me: [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: > September 11th [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: We're an international group. But I'm an American. And we've got a lot of military folks here. And, surprisingly, several folks who were directly effected by the tragedy. . I typically shy from making anything that could be politically charged as for a comment. Whatever your beliefs may be, or whatever your gripes may be about America following the event on this day in 2001. Today's just one of those days. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: I am calling a cease fire for the evening in honor of the 11th. You're all welcome to train and all that. I'll be around. But we'll get back to shootin' folks tomorrow. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Any of ya'll who care to, feel free to join me in my office after the meeting to gab about the 11th. It'll be nonpolitical. Just a "where were you" kind of remembrance thing. [18:46] Ron Bleac shouts: It is with great pleasure that I can announce another campaign against The Anvil Coalition: For the next week, in addition to Operation Blacksmith and Hammerdown, we wiill embark upon another great crusade. In co-ordination with our Merczateer comrades, we will assault a select number of key targets at once. Air, infantry, tank and artillery assets will be utilized to full effect. We will be striking on a broad front, so I need everyone to be on their best game this coming week. They think of us as weak and complacent, we aren't such. We will show them the full might of our ground and air forces at once, and show them that an Irom Symphony soldier can take down ten of them. We are a quality force, and will continue to represent our ideology and influence the way the community works, by abiding to the doctrine laid out in the core of the Iron Symphony, and our own combat doctrine [18:46] Ron Bleac shouts: I will personally be there to command most of the raids, and I will grab the assistance of a few officers to fullfill our mission. Yes, there will be lots of fixing bayonets and charging. My goal is to fill the horizon with waves of bombers, and watch the constant advance of iron spearheads formed by our armor, to be followed by the crashing waves of our infantry! Naturally, in moderation. Despite the black outlook, our goal and their goal is to have fun. We will provide them with that fun in a manner which pleases all. I am not seeking severe political repercussions. We will only assault targets that have the capability to respond in kind, and are available for some large scale fun battles. [18:47] Ron Bleac shouts: The tip of the spear, gentlemen! Let us bury that spear into someone's side. Gentlemen, all I ask for is war. A merciless, bloody war. But a fun and fair war, with pink pillows and pyjama parties! [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Rofl. [18:47] Ron Bleac shouts: Oh, and the name of the operation? [18:47] Ron Bleac shouts: Operation Bundle of Lovely Cute Kittens. Meeting Closer [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions'll be posted by tomorrow morning. Feel free to drop me extra (or PRFS) until midnight. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Best wishes and have a great night. Thank you for a good meeting. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Dismissed. [18:45] Ron Bleac raises hand. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia clasps his fist to his chest, presenting a salute.

With all due respect, I disagree. The average fresh E-3 is hardly equipped and experienced to handle officer in command of defense. I am an exception and you might be too, but when faced with a situation that isn't an everyday occurence (say a griefer), it's much more likely that a low-level enlisted may not handle the situation correctly -- and that can lead to some disasters.

Well, I put your name in there because you're posting it and you copied it. :P

~ORDO IMPERIALIS~ OFFICIAL DOCUMENT <=====================Extend to this length=========================> <===========================================================> **********Meeting Report********** NAME/RANK/DIVISION: Dascede Aluveaux | O-1; Triplicarius | Astra ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DATE: 12 June 2010 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUBJECT: General discussion; diplomacy, developments, reminders. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUMMARY: Large amount gathered this evening. Summer benefit! ============================================================ CHAT LOG: Meeting Opener [18:00] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Good evening everyone and welcome to this week’s meeting. Per the norm, please be certain to hold all questions and comments until provided the opportunity to speak. Interruptions will result in dismissal from the gathering. When you are provided the chance to speak, be sure to /shout/ your comments or questions—otherwise the recorder may not hear you. Thank you: let’s get started. Imperator's Report [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: To begin, our weekly statistics: Personnel Members: 305 Cadets: 6 Applications New: 15 Accepted: 6 Denied: 5 Review: 4 Combat Defensive: 77 Offensive: 13 [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic occurrences this week . . . uh, essentially the only major change would be the Ordo Imperialis has entered hostile status with the Alliance Navy, following repeated AN attacks against the Merczateers. [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Otherwise, it has been relatively quiet on the political front. Divisional Reports [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports? [18:02] Detox Exonar salutes. [18:02] Lestat Umarov: I need a moment. Writing a bit more than usual Sir. [18:02] Agares Tretiak raises his hand. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Tretiak. Praetorian Guard [18:03] Agares Tretiak: The Praetorian Guard has had a fairly quiet week, for the most part. Activity is solid, across the board, and we've been making expansions on some of our internal policies. We should be having the Induction ceremony next weekend, if there arent' any major scheduling conflicts that occur. [18:04] Agares Tretiak: Aside from that, only a single minor excursion to New Jessie, as Guard specific combat. [18:04] Agares Tretiak: (Luckily, my conneciton is more stable now, so things should pick up). [18:05] Agares Tretiak: That's all, sir. [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Astra [18:05] Aryte Vesperia: I will speak on behalf of Astra, then: [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: Astra has been making a considerable effort toward revitalizing air combat both here internally and externally across the grid. Kudos to the Astra NCO and officer staff for their efforts. Currently, there is a strong movement to restructure and reimagine how flight training and Astra itself is to be envisioned as a unit. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Air combat, as stands . . more often than not, is seen as a burden, rather than a dynamic that enriches combat. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Astra is seeking to remedy that. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Next? [18:08] Detox Exonar: Raises hand [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Exonar? [18:08] Detox Exonar: Pardon me sir - but I have not been totally up to date on all the movement regarding ASTRA change - can you discuss briefly what these changes may be? [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Aluveaux, go ahead. [18:11] Dascede Aluveaux: Detox: we are currently looking at integrating objectives to make air combat useful in conjunction with ground combat. We are also making the first steps toward talks with other AD commanders to reopen lost areas, such as (maybe) air-to-ground fighting. [18:11] Dascede Aluveaux: The idea of a redo on the SMG, and the upcoming flight suit may also provide some benefits. [18:12] Dascede Aluveaux: And finally, we are looking for fresh blood: more Schola cadets. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Umarov? [18:12] Detox Exonar: Thank you Dascede - yes I have been reading some ASTRA posts - and I liek the sound of these thoughts on how to change ASTRA - especisally - any movement to open up Air to Ground and ground to air - I apprecaite the update Terra [18:12] Lestat Umarov shouts: Overall it's been quite a busy week for Terra. Aside from the usual raids and defensive movements there's been quite a few administrative changes in Cohors B. Soulbinder Wolfstein has stepped down as the temperporary CO of Cohors B with thatguy Andel's return and subsequent promotion from XO to CO. Congratulations thatguy. This also means that there is a position open in Century II for those that would like to apply. I have a couple general notices as well. As of today Praetorian Initiate Soulbinder Wolfstein has been appointed Terra Chief Advisor and has Unrestricted access to the weekly reports and documentation provided that myself and Centurion Breed recieve. You are REQUIRED to send him copies of your reports as well. Lastly, I start college on the 21st of June. I'm not sure how busy I will be in the next week or so but will post a notice on the forums when I have a better idea. If I am unavailable please contact Centurion Breed or Soulbinder. [18:13] Lestat Umarov shouts: From Keler for Invictus: "Another up-tempo week from Invictus. Numerous raids were led or accompanied by Invictus, and everyone was quite active. All in all a good week." [18:14] Lestat Umarov shouts: From Zerowinged for Antesignani: "Work on the XCR continues with the MASS system being worked out script wise. One raid preformed and one training preformed. One slot open." [18:14] Lestat Umarov shouts: From Zrazor for Insidiae: "Development and activity has stalled for the squad this week as I took a bit of an unannounced low-activity period during the past week to address some RL issues. We have managed to fill one of our empty slots and we welcome Arc Vyper to the squad. Over the next week I intend to get the crossbow build finished and finalized, hopefully getting it finished and issued before AC." [18:14] Lestat Umarov shouts: From thatguy for Cohors B: "Praise for SoulBinder, thank you for assuming CO of Cohors B in my absence. Cohors B is picking up on activity, as century meets and raids are going on. Not much PRF's this time around, so be sure and bug your CO's for PRF's. This week looks like another week of good ole' work as the Cohors B Centuries will be going through a revamp. Along with this, I am expecting to see more Century raids, and a lot more PRF's!" [18:14] Lestat Umarov shouts: From myself for the Adiutor staff: "I appoligize for any delays in the Unit of the Month documentation. I will try to get a discussion going on the thread I used as a placeholder earlier. I've been extraordinarily busy this past month with college preparations." [18:15] Lestat Umarov shouts: And one last thing. As I said last week I'd like to see more unit level training events. I cannot stress enough how important this is to squad cohesion! [18:15] Lestat Umarov shouts: This cocludes my report for Terra. Any additional reports may be given at the discretion of the Imperator. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Thank you for the input. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? [18:16] Ron Bleac raises hand. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Bleac. Tactica [18:16] Ron Bleac: Thank you, Imperator. [18:16] Ron Bleac shouts: Tactica structural changes. This is something that I've been thinking about for a while now. Tactica, as it stands, is overly complicated. We even had Wiki, but we're dumping that in an effort to streamline the process and make information easily accessible. Our forums, will hopefully have a public section added to them. But this is so far, still on the drawing board. I don't think even the Imperator himself has been informed, that's a my bad. In regards to our internal ranks, those will also be changed completely. No more funny and overtly complicated latin names- We're most likely looking at even completely repurposing an entire rank within Tactica. Perhaps I should say position, instead of rank. But oh well, you get it! [18:17] Ron Bleac shouts: In other news, we had our first meeting last night! It went very well, and hopefully, my energy permitting, the log will be up tonight as promised. We discussed some key topics, and the turnout was absolutely magnificent. Ideas were thrown about, and all were taken down and listed for further consideration. Meanwhile, Corsi (omg thank you<3) is working hard on the folders and Tactica reports. As mentioned previously, you can see them in the radar room. They contain landmarks, information about spawn groups, etc. Use them! They're a valuable resource! [18:18] Ron Bleac: Whilst Tactica is still in development, we can take some dramatic turns. Now is the time -you- can influence what we do. We are always looking for more people. Refer to the Ordo forums and the general discussion section for more information. [18:18] Ron Bleac: Thank you. That is all. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Mr. Bleac. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports? Old Business [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Any old business to bring up this evening? [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: One sidenote from me, then: working on officer elevations this weekend. [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: \o/ etc. On to the keynote. Keynote Topics [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: First up this evening, there are some upcoming changes to the civilian group to be mentioned. As of current, the bounds on the civilian group are fairly haphazard and mismanaged—overseers are not entirely accountable, and, many times it comes into a matter of “who invited X to the civilian group?” [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: To change this, some modifications are going to be made as to how civilians are handled. Foremost, there will be tiers of involvement within civilian status in both the way of Ordo oversight and civilians themselves: [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: There will continue to be Ordo Overseers, who are responsible for maintaining invitations and ejects from the group. However, in addition to which, we will be adding an administrative role on top of the Overseers: ideally, an NCO or possibly an officer who is responsible for managing invitations and ensuring documentation is secured for civilians. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: The commander(s) would maintain a running roster of civilian invitations with their vouches, on a public forum in the report area of our webpage. Furthermore, the administrator would serve as the primary liaison to civilians, ensuring that Ordo personnel are respecting their rights of visitation. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: As for civilians, a separation will also be made in the way of classing civilians: we will have regular, everyday civilians—just like now, who are not allowed to be armed, et cetera. However, in addition to which, we will permit limited assignment of trusted civilians to a special role: class two, or “civil defense force” civilians. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: These individuals would undergo a clearance process to receive permission to maintain light arms during visitation within our parameters. Essentially, if we have “usual” visitors who are deemed to be respectful and within the capability, we will grant them the ability to act as a sort of citizen militia—absorbing bullets for us at their leisure. Appointment to the CDF will be sparse: it is just another avenue and available option for individuals we as a group may consider to be “friends of the Ordo” who, for whatever reason, may not fit as an actual member of the Ordo. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: CDF members would not be counted as actual combatants for the group, nor would they reasonably be substitute for any defensive requirement. However, it would be kind of amusing to send an armed mob against another military at our leisure for the sake of . . . well, because we can. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Overall, the CDF will be utilized as a recruitment tool for individuals who are "borderline." It'll serve as an opportunity for us to give people curious with combat the chance to participate in it, with the intent to eventually get them in uniform. In the near future there will be a culling of inactive overseers and then an appointment of the administrator role, who will then be capable of determining who will be appointed or dismissed from overseer status. This is another great opportunity for any NCO looking for some work. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:29] Kraton Foxtrot raises a paw. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Foxtrot? [18:30] Lestat Umarov raises hand [18:31] Dascede Aluveaux: (Make sure you shout) [18:32] Kraton Foxtrot: I'm curious about the details of how one would find someone qualified to be a CDF. Aside from a person being trusted by the overseer, I would think there should be a list of reqirements to keep from being at risk from open attack from someone trusted right within our ranks. [18:32] Kraton Foxtrot: or rather, right in the middle of us, [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: There will be a list of requirements and it'd receive a senior officer, at least, to sign off on it. It is to be a very limited thing-- simply, the administrative support is there when we run into a situation (as we have in the past), where someone we're comfortable with is interested in joining, but isn't sure if it is something he or she really wants to do. [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Umarov? [18:34] Kraton Foxtrot: Thank you sir. That answered my question. [18:35] Maverick Garfield raises his hand. [18:35] Lestat Umarov: I was curious if there'd ve any consequences to those that invite anyone to the combat role if they suddenly decide to turn on us. [18:35] Lestat Umarov: be* [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Again, the combat role would be extremely limited and reserved to approval from senior officers. I don't really anticipate this to be a problem. We're talking about situations like Mark Karlfeldt-- who hung around here for two years trying to decide if this was cool before joining. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: If it becomes an issue, yes, punishment can be arranged. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Stoanes? [18:37] Jake Stoanes shouts: Will the CDF members get assigned gear from the Ordo, or will they be responsible for their own gear? [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: No gear whatsoever. Thank you for shouting. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Garfield? [18:37] Maverick Garfield shouts: What happens when someone is placed in the cizy group and once they are in they start to troll the sim do we need oic permission to take them out ? [18:37] Huttser Ishelwood raises a paw [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Such is the accountability factor, every individual will be vouched for and documented. You've always need OIC approval before shooting civilians-- so yes. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Ishelwood? [18:38] Agares Tretiak raises his hand. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Last question to Tretiak. [18:40] Huttser Ishelwood: Would the CDF litteraly be a mob of unorginised civilians who we can throw at who we want, or will there be some structure to it, say with an NCO appointed to oversee any deployments they may take, defensive and offensive? [18:41] Agares Tretiak: I'm assuming there will be strict punishments and clearly state guidelines for all CDF, yes? my concern comes down to CoC, though, and proper distribution of communications and orders. Would it be appropriate to summarily execute and eject a recalcitrant CDF member, for instance? [18:41] Garion Lowenhardt cracks back into place. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Yes, there is already a gigantic list of regulations in existence [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: . [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: On that note maybe we should rename it PDF. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: Hurp durp. Moving on. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: As you are all probably aware, the dress attire and command coats have been updated—and wow, they are wonderful. The next project Disembodied is working on is the Ordo flight suit. He anticipates it to be done around the 16th of this month. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: That leaves the rest of the month for him to work on the new armor sets. He intends to be finished with those by the end of the month, right on schedule. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: The first set to be completed will be a universal base, after which variants for all of the combat units will be done. I haven’t quite decided in what order. Probably will flip a coin, or let whichever unit has been the coolest (I accept coffee bribes) go first. In short: a lot of fitting looming in the near future, sorry. [18:43] Vilkacis Mason: O_O [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Cheesecake also, yes. Thank you for clarifying, Heather. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on: [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Wow I am being spammed with bribes. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Lol. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: [18:45] Arokh Takakura gave you KICK ASS MAGIC RAINBOW BITCHING AWESOME PEN OF COOLNESS. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: wtf? [18:45] Arokh Takakura: It's a crayon. :> [18:45] Kraton Foxtrot: Are tehre any regulations on what forms of bribery we may use :P jk [18:45] Eriksson Foxtrot raises a hand in regards to the new armour [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Whatever unit you're in goes last. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Foxtrot? [18:46] Eriksson Foxtrot: You may have mentioned this already but: What is the theme of the new armour? [18:46] Tiridates Mikadze raises his hand. [18:46] Nrom Normandy raises his hand. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: FML. this meeting is never going to end. Hahaha. [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Tiri, did you want to show? [18:47] Tiridates Mikadze nods enthusiatically [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Go ahead. [18:47] Eriksson Foxtrot: Sorry. Just curious - would you happen to have models/ or design images? [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Nothing to be sorry for. Just a lot of questions hahaha. [18:47] Tiridates Mikadze shouts: Okay, people, as I'm sure you're all aware, new armor. I have some designs, nothing fancy, but it should give you the idea. One second while I pull them up [18:50] Tiridates Mikadze shouts: That is the chest itself. Notes on materialis are to indicate surface texture analogs, NOT what it's actually made of. [18:51] Tiridates Mikadze shouts: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4029/4692479258_e089ff38aa_b.jpg [18:52] Tiridates Mikadze shouts: More details on the armor. Again, notes are on appearence, not actual materials. Anyone who wants to know the fluff composition of the armor, I actually have a little notecard detailing that. [18:52] Tiridates Mikadze shouts: Feel free to IM me for a copy. [18:52] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Tiri. [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: Normandy? (Last question on this topic.) [18:53] Eriksson Foxtrot: Thank you for providing visuals, Tiridates. [18:53] Nrom Normandy shouts: Earlier it was mentioned that there was a Unit of the Month program in development for terra. Perhaps this could be expanded since we have more than a month left to include all of the divisions and find some way to determine which unit is the best for the month of June and let them have first dibs on their specific division alterations. Competition is more fun than bribes. That is all, thank you. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: I'll let Lestat follow up with that if he'd like? [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Actually, let's have him drop a forum post on the matter. We're eating time up dramatically tonight. Let's push on. [18:55] Lestat Umarov: You're saying you'd like it expanded to include the other divisions? [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: Ohhhhh . . [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: I see what you mean, Nrom. [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: That's a great idea. I agree. It should be by competition. The bribe thing was a joke. [18:57] Lestat Umarov: It's only on phase two out of four in terms of plannign Sir. [18:57] Lestat Umarov: planning* [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: We'll work something out to determine the armor, even if the unit of the month dealio isn't ready. [18:57] Aryte Vesperia: Now-- moving on! [18:58] Aryte Vesperia: About . . . ten or so days from now, myself and a good deal of other folks will be running off for our annual Ordo congregating in one spot at a convention outing. Based upon recent numbers, I do not expect that defense will experience anything close to being “gutted.” In addition to which, we have tons of qualified raid leaders who are not going . . . so business will continue as usual. [18:59] Lestat Umarov: I'll be around Sir :C [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: I will be releasing a full itinerary next week, along with holding a major meeting going over my expectations prior to leaving. I just wanted to give a little heads up now. I do not really imagine anything will be changing, outside of there being generally less of me around for a few days. Heh. We’ll go over all of that come next week’s meeting. [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along: [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: The idea was proposed to me (Hollowmengitus, I believe) that during the officer meeting there’s a lot of downtime for enlisted personnel. As such, it was suggested that during said time group training could be held—this clears up the 5:00 time slot we usually do it, allowing for more raid time on Sunday. [19:00] Aryte Vesperia: I whole heartedly agree and would like to see NCO staff step up to volunteer to lead combat practices every Sunday during the officer meeting. If necessary, I can pre-write scenarios for NCOs . . . or, if an NCO wishes to be an over achiever, they are more than welcome to write their own. [19:00] Aryte Vesperia: I will open a sign up list here in a bit. [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: Next up: on Monday I will be working with Vincent Lucerne to patch up a few holes and add more defensive postures for the current sim build. After which, I am going to have Chronus moved off of Titan. [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: You can expect . . probably an immediate and dramatic increase in defensive combat. Most of our big enemies have simply hated the sim border. [19:02] Aryte Vesperia: So, just be ready for that. [19:03] Aryte Vesperia: Aaaaand the final topic from me: [19:04] Aryte Vesperia: For that final topic from me tonight, I want to take some time to just sort of mull about the summer and the group’s expansion. Foremost, as we’re all quite aware . . . the summer months mean a huge amount of additional activity for the military community, the Ordo included. The group has grown immensely over the last couple of weeks, with dozens of applications denied weekly. [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: Our average participant number is steady at thirty, with peak hours pushing into the forties. Even late nights are running about fifteen—a time when we used to see about five. Most of the time, the group’s numbers far exceeds that of all other military groups, providing us the prime opportunity to launch multiple raids daily. [19:05] Aryte Vesperia: For that, you should all be quite proud—I am. It is outstanding and I am really happy that we’ve pushed another threshold and achieved even greater heights as an organization. You all deserve a great deal of admiration for your hard work. Without you, it really would not have been possible. [19:06] Aryte Vesperia: On the flip side, however, we must be sober in realizing group growth also exposes several potentials for problems. Foremost, increase in the member base means we are adding a host of new personalities into an existing stream of them—human nature would dictate that usually means conflict. Overall, the Ordo has done quite well in immersing and respecting the individual identities of new members. And, new members have done quite well in socializing to fit the group. [19:07] Aryte Vesperia: However, it is important to be fair in realizing when you stick thirty people together on a single region and force them to interact constantly—even in a professional atmosphere—conflict will and does occur. What I ask of all of you is to do your best to mitigate and maintain a respect for one another. First off, by realizing that everyone here has wants and needs of their own, just like you. A group is built out of setting aside personal wants and needs for the group’s wants and needs—but even internally; every individual has aspirations for the group and how the group should be shaped. Maturity is accepting that, and, accepting deviations to your own perspective. [19:08] Aryte Vesperia: Secondly, when a conflict does occur: treat it as an isolated event—focus on the element of the disagreement, rather than turning it into a personal matter. For example, if you are asked to cease doing something because it is an infraction against our rules . . . do not turn it into a “whoever just told me to stop is the problem.” That is entirely unhealthy for the group and your relationship within the group. [19:09] Aryte Vesperia: Through respect for one another and respect for the atmosphere of the group, we have come a long way over a long period of time. I do not expect that this will ever change or become an epidemic matter. But, as we grow, it is important to remind and reinforce the values that have made us the group we are today. [19:10] Aryte Vesperia: I am not going to pretend that everyone here is best friends: that would be incredibly foolish. I am aware of some disliking between members, both on a professional and personal level. It’s unfortunate, but it happens. [19:11] Aryte Vesperia: Just keep in mind at the end of the day; we are all on the same side. It may be a virtual world, but all too often are we reminded how important that side becomes. So, if you have an issue with someone, I would hope that they are at least respected for their decision to be here and work towards the same goals—even if egos clash, you are still supporting one another directly. [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you for listening. I hope that makes some sense. [19:12] Kraton Foxtrot: Here, here. :D [19:12] Aryte Vesperia: For time sake, skipping open floor. We managed to take a long time this evening haha. [19:13] Jinxy Fluffball raises hand Meeting Closer [19:13] Aryte Vesperia: Promotions will be posted . . likely tomrrow morning. I want to include the officer elevations to it, but if that takes too long I'll hold off and get the majority of the recommendations processed. [19:14] Aryte Vesperia: Combat: I will get it sorted as soon as possible. I have some plans to attend to this evening, so I won't be on very long. I apologize-- I'll try to make up for my own time tomorrow. But, we'll get some raid(s) out this evening. [19:14] Aryte Vesperia: Having said all that: you are dismissed. Have a wonderful evening. [19:14] Aryte Vesperia clasps his fist to his chest, presenting a salute.

~ORDO IMPERIALIS~ OFFICIAL DOCUMENT <=====================Extend to this length=========================> <===========================================================> **********Meeting Report********** NAME/RANK/DIVISION: Dascede Aluveaux | O-1; Triplicarius | Astra ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DATE: 05 June 2010 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUBJECT: General discussion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUMMARY: Ordo gathered to hear weekly reports and Imperator's words. Imperator's Report [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: To begin, our weekly statistics: Personnel Members: 297 Cadets: 10 Applications New: 18 Accepted: 5 Denied: 8 Review: 5 Combat Defensive: 69 Offensive: 10 [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic occurrences: both of the Merczateers commanders have been released from suspension and have returned to activity. Anthony Lehane was released earlier in the week, whereas Lurdan Huszar returned yesterday. With the restoration of command, Merczateer activity has increased. The Ordo has maintained support combatively as stability is reestablished. Notably, there have been several instances in which Ordo forces have been integral to thwarting major combat deployments on Badnarik. Otherwise, there has been relative calm as matters return to normality. Divisional Reports [18:02] Sosarin Demar raises his hand. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Demar. Astra [18:02] Sosarin Demar: Efforts were spent this week discussing ways to rejuvenate Astra as a division. Many enlisted have pitched their bit, which culminated in a meeting that occurred today (I thank those responsible for organizing it, I apologize for being unable to attend). I can imagine next week hammering out much of the same pursuits as we tangle with the weakness in officer oversight and garner interest in the division as a whole. The times scream for the NCO's to step up. Ideas have been placed on the table, it's only a matter of reaching a concensus and pressing forth. If anything, most credit goes to the enlisted for pressing things forward and I have my upmost faith in your determination and potential. That concludes this week's report for Astra. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you; I've been monitoring the ongoing work there. I am very impressed with your NCOs. [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Next? [18:03] Lestat Umarov raises hand [18:03] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Umarov? Terra [18:04] Lestat Umarov shouts: All in all another good week for Terra. There was quite a bit of action on the offense and defense as per the norm. I do have an announcement to make to squad and century leaders. I'd like to see at least one or two training events held per week. I'm getting tired of seeing none in the reports. Get your squads together at least once a week and go to new jessie or something! This doesn't require commander to occur. If you see a lot of your squad on get together and get some training done! Now onto unit reports. [18:05] Lestat Umarov shouts: From Teron for Invictus: "Another week of high activity from the squad, with several members leading raids and nearly everyone taking part in some bloodshed. Continued good performance from everyone!" [18:05] Lestat Umarov shouts: From Zerowinged for Antesignani: ""2.0" beta of the Negev's scripting released to the testers. XCR itself is getting it's textures updated [Thank you Keller] & the attached underslung module is still pending creation. Antesignani has one opening and is having a slight command shift in the works. New roles and such are being assigned to give everyone a small job instead of just being a member of Antesignani, example of one being "Reserve Raid/Training NCO" which gives a memeber the authority to preform trainings and raids in the absence of the CO, XO, and NCOIC or along them thereof. Note that these roles are still pending approval by the Imperator, Legates of Terra, and the Executive Officer of Terra. One training was preformed on the date of 02JUN10. That is it! =3" [18:05] Lestat Umarov shouts: From Zrazor for Insidiae: "The Mk.14 PDW was given an update this week. Crossbow build remains in development, but scripting is nearing completion. Squad continued to maintain a presence in offensive engagements this week, as well as a few separate excursions to New Jessie. Squad still has two available slots." [18:05] Lestat Umarov shouts: From Lupus for Cohors B: "this week was full of interesting actions and thoughts the general activity is on a stable Moderate Level. We have Contacted all Inactive Members of all three Century's of Cohor B and are about to do a major reboot of the Unit Roosters, which means we will try to get every century on a equal level on activity, so don't wonder if you will be contacted in around a week that you have been moved to a different Century. Also a remind don't forget to bother your CO's about PRF's to earn quality points for your activity and conduct to the group which will be rewarded with Unlock points for cool stuff. This Concludes my report for COHOR; B thank you. [18:05] Lestat Umarov shouts: From myself for the Adiutor Staff from myself: "I've opened a dicussion on the Terra forums in regard to the Unit of the Month events. We're looking for ideas for the combat, unit inspection, and formal board proceedings that the even entails. I will be handing out what I have so far to anyone in Cohors B or the alpha squads who are interested in contributing." [18:06] Lestat Umarov: This concludes my report for Terra, [18:06] Ron Bleac raises hand. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Mr. Bleac? Tactica [18:07] Ron Bleac shouts: Exciting week for Tactica!~ We need fresh blood, check out the forums. We're getting lots of stuff done, so hopefully you guys won't have to stare at empty intelligence reports again. You'll find some folders in the radar room that will be fitted to pass out all kinds of awesome info about targets! Thank you! [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Do any other units wish to report? [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Moving on, then. Old Business [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Any old business to bring up for further discussion this evening? [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Moving right along, then. Keynote Topics [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: First up: The BDU release was handled early this week, but a large amount of projects are still outstanding and in the works. Dismebodied Hand is currently working on a comprehensive update to our current dress attire. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: The uniforms will keep the same basic appearance but will have an increased quality—comparable to the BDU level of texture detail. [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Included with the dress attire update will be an update to our command coats, placing them in the same level as well. After which, Mr. Hand will be working on a flight suit for our pilots. Progress has been fairly rapid thus far. By the end of the month we should be expecting the uniform updates, flight suits, backpack variants, and armor. [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: With the re-release of the dress attire, we will be streamlining and making certain there is uniformity on some things that we kind of failed on last round—namely making sure we put the rank on the same arm as the armor, hah. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: What I do wish to ask is that everyone fairly understands that we will be making adjustments and tightening/changing how the use of armor and attire are policed off and on. There has been a huge pour in of BDU mod requests, so on and so forth. Do not be too surprised if we reverse decisions and change things over time. Please keep in mind modifications are supposed to be a rarity, not a norm: we’re a military, not a fashion club. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Questions on that? [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Moving on. [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Several weeks back we made mention of creating a new set of additional merits to increase opportunity for acknowledgement. The list has been updated in the current handbook. [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Oh wait I lied. It isn't in the released handbook yet. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: With the increased number of merits (especially tiered merits), we will also be changing how merits are worn—we will be shifting it so that, for example: if an individual had Combat Prowess MK1 and MK2, only MK2 would be worn. I will release regulations on this in the near future to make sure compliancy is uniform. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Questions there? [18:16] Trinity Heckroth raises hand [18:17] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Heckroth? [18:17] Trinity Heckroth: Will the auto merit grid scripting be redone to be compliant with the new regulations? [18:17] FireFox Breed: Yes [18:17] Trinity Heckroth nods [18:17] FireFox Breed whispers: There will not need to be a update to fix that. It is all server side. [18:17] FireFox Breed: There will not need to be [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Aye, thank you. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions? [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Excellent. Moving on. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Providing a little heads up here and tossing out a kind of “search call” or opportunity for any of our talented builders—the Ordo is in need of two aircraft: a helicopter gunship and a new dropship model. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: The grade of vessel we’re looking for is to be comparable to our newer ships, such as the Nemesis or the Predator. Concepts are available; it is simply a matter of finding someone with the prowess to tackle it. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: It is my hope to replace our existing dropship in the near future, with something a bit more aggressive in appearance. Although our current ship has served us well, I feel it is appropriate to pursue a replacement with the lessons learned in combat. [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Furthermore, we have been murmuring about adding a gunship to our arsenal for some time now—it would be a lower altitude, more lumbering vessel with armored capabilities, focusing on being more of a ground crawler predator, hugging close to the surface to provide infantry dynamic support. [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Questions there? [18:20] Karlhockey Forte: ":D" [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Hah. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Next: [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: The Ordo honor titles have been completed and are posted—we will be making changes and shaping up the list over time, as items are prepared and requirements are found to be adequate or inadequate. Thank you to Agares for your input! [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: We will be creating a special “Cursus Honorum” group specifically for denoting titles. As a side note—most of the titles (or all of them, once I get around to it) will include a special medallion or item of sorts. If we can manage the creativity, we will think of ways to make them more than just aesthetic. You can find them all here: http://forums.ordoimperialis.com/index.php?/topic/8324-ordo-cursus-honorum-imperial-titles/ [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: I'll give those curious a moment to give it a look. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Questions there? [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Movin' on, then! [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Officer appointments-- the next couple of days, I will be spending a lot of time evaluating current officers and adjusting any ranks necessary. For example . . I didn't realize Heather wasn't her appropriate rank for the position. Furthermore, I will be reviewing with the officer corps potential elevations for the next wave of command appointments. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: We will be especially focussing on vacancies in Terra and Astra. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: This leads into a sort of side topic: [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: The question keeps popping up: what makes someone stand out for promotion to officer (or in general)? [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: To sing the tune I've sang a few dozen times: proactive contribution. To get a prime example of such . . look at the Astra NCO staff currently. They have taken it upon themselves to develop critically needed revisions to the organization, demonstrating their abilites to work in a complex enviroment with their own creativity. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Proactivity is taking a step outside the day to day-- it is examining the group critically to determine error or areas of improvement. Proactivity typically means hearing the words "no" a lot before getting an idea hammered out. But proactivity is what this group needs and is especially what I look for when selecting officers. [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Questions there? [18:31] Steeltael Lykin raises paw [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Lykin? [18:32] Steeltael Lykin: Sir, Just a observation. That even if your idea's are put down here and there. It's always the thought that counts. And as long as you remain loyal to the cause. As well as continue with a strong work ethic. I don't think anything is impossible. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Correct-- contributing to the group, regardless of the idea is accepted, is important and will be recognized. Thank you. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Anything else? [18:34] Jason Backer: I'd like to say something [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: Go right ahead. [18:36] Jason Backer: I'd like to just offer a word of advice to all new potential officers, should you be in your new job, congratulations and always remember this. Never settle for something bad just because "It's the way we've always done it" don't loose sight of what is important, new people can bring the freshest and most wonderful idea, use them and you'll do a very good job. [18:36] Jason Backer: *ideas [18:36] Jason Backer: And thats it. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Very good, thank you. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Anyone else? [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Very good. Movin' on: [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Wait until the end to answer the question, but: as mentioned, we will be seperating the regions Titan and Chronus in order to facilitate more enjoyable combat. The question I have is whether or not we wish to move forward with seperating the regions before the new sim build is completed? My reasoning is . . well, I believe even with our current build, single sim combat would be more enjoyable and draw far more activity from enemy groups. [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: Furthermore, Ch ronus could temporarily be tasked to training functions before it is reconstructed. Opinions? (Speak freely.) [18:40] Zabimato Outlander: \o/ [18:40] Ron Bleac: Would separating Chronus and Titan cause us considerable downtime+ [18:40] Ron Bleac: ?* [18:40] Aryte Vesperia: No down time. [18:40] Karlhockey Forte: We would possibly need to change the red zone, due to where the current spawn in. [18:40] Tsume Xiao raises hand [18:40] Corsi Mousehold raises her hand. [18:40] Jason Backer: How long are we looking at as a time frame for rebuild/seperation etc? [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Speak freely. [18:41] Dascede Aluveaux: I would like that. I'm not a big fan of the dual-sim set up, and having a separate, closed sim for training, temporarily, is safer than open access by our visitors. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Red zone would be mofieid, obviously. Jason: rebuild is pending. Seperation is as easy as telling LL to do it. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Mofieid? Lol. Modified. [18:41] WolfShaman Warrior: 1 sim makes my aircraft happy [18:41] Vilkacis Mason: No question, but I support it. Sim boundaries have always been one of the worst parts of SL combat. [18:41] Tsume Xiao: I am concerned with the current build and single sim combat. FOrcing our enemies to rez in that little tunnel would be a worse bottle neck/unfair advanctage than 2142's old LOL HILL! build. [18:42] Desereck Creeggan: I liked the two sim setup, but since it has been decided, it should not be too bad. We're going to have to improve defensive maneuvers. It's easy to react to enemies when they're a sim away, but now that they're only a third or a fourth of a sim away, we'll have to work much better as a whole. [18:42] Lestat Umarov: I think we should seperate them immediately. [18:42] Kryo Recreant: Given how well the stress-testing worked out, it could work quite well. [18:42] Nikki4 Aquitaine: So there is no wait time? We could say move it away for a day/week and then move it back if we didn't like it? (I support the idea by the way) [18:42] Corsi Mousehold: I don't think splitting them off would be a bad idea at all. Keeping in mind the current Titan spawn would not be the best starting point for now though. Starting at the current point would lead those without jetpacks for a very long and undesirable walk and those with them would be dangerously close to the tank bay. [18:42] Lestat Umarov: It will attract more groups and one sim combat means close quarts fighting for the most part. [18:42] Kryo Recreant: On a more permanent basis, I mean. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: 100 dollars a pop to move it, Nikki. [18:42] Eriksson Foxtrot: I think you should keep them both linked up for the time being. [18:42] Lestat Umarov: quarter* [18:42] Nikki4 Aquitaine: Oh. [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: I'll pay for it once. Lol. [18:43] Eriksson Foxtrot: Holy crap Aryte. [18:43] Ethan Schuman: Since it's all but guaranteed that LL will never fix the bug between linked sims, we should get moving on this as soon as possible. [18:43] Bargo Tomsen: I thought they raised it 150? [18:43] Corsi Mousehold: A better position for the spawn would be at the two staircases on our current front line. [18:43] Vilkacis Mason: $100 a pop? Yes, let's move it every Friday~ [18:43] femme Lisa: yus it is 150 [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Ouch! [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: WEll still. [18:43] Zabimato Outlander: It will lower a lot of client side lag for most of us because it'll be less prims to rez. [18:44] Vilkacis Mason: What is the advantage of waiting? That's the real question. [18:44] Eriksson Foxtrot: True Zab. [18:44] Vilkacis Mason: Plenty of advantage to doing it soon. [18:44] Desereck Creeggan: Regardless, a person teleporting in now is the same as them teleporting in with one sim setup. [18:44] Eriksson Foxtrot: More simulator lag though. [18:44] Ethan Schuman: Yay! Maybe I'll actually be able to hang out in Titan again. [18:44] Typhon Perun: I'm actually for seperating the sims, but we shuld look to see if the lindens will be able to do it for us, with minimal fuss first. If they give us to much of a headache, I suggest a back up plan. [18:44] Desereck Creeggan: Instead of it lagging chronus and mildly affecting Titan, it will full on affect titan. [18:44] Corsi Mousehold: That gives things a corner to corner feel and gives the offense a holding place in the base of the tower to use as a medpoint for an attack. It would be a bit more enjoyable in that sense and still give us achoke point of the bridge. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: The advantage of waiting is ... uhhhh~ [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Makes ... . . me have 150 dollars more for a couple weeks? :D [18:45] Vilkacis Mason: And, I'll be honest here: If more of us are 'hanging out' in the other sim, it gives actual combatants a chance. [18:45] Vilkacis Mason: Enemies who invade us now have to make it through all the awake-people and also load all the 'idling' people who are just chillin' at Ordo. [18:45] Kryo Recreant: New physics engine also may be implemented in that time? o3o [18:45] Eriksson Foxtrot: Bring in the cons to the seperation aswell. [18:45] Eriksson Foxtrot: Lag. D: [18:46] Typhon Perun: I still suggest talking with the lindens to see how easy or hard this will be to do. There are other sims around us that might be affected by this as well that should be taken in to consideration. [18:46] Eriksson Foxtrot: Like Badnarik when their under attack is a perfect example. [18:46] Corsi Mousehold: If we do seperate the sims now, the trek to the base is alot shorter since we .... Well we have a fat base. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: I own most of the regions around Titan. [18:46] Vilkacis Mason: Also, throwing in a wild vote for a sandbox-area. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: There's nothing to discuss, Typhon. [18:46] Zabimato Outlander: Titan is a better SIM then Badnarik. [18:46] Ethan Schuman: Before we seperate the sims, we should seriously investigate the implementation of Havok7. I may be wrong, perhaps LL will fix the sim leak bug after all. [18:46] Typhon Perun: Yes sir.. my applogies. [18:46] Bargo Tomsen: Will we hopefully be forgoing the megaprim terrain? [18:46] Maverick Garfield: Mercz base lags horrorably but I think thats there teleport system [18:46] Desereck Creeggan: It's as easy as asking them to move it, waiting in the line to get your simulator moved, paying the $100 and saying where you want it to go. [18:47] Tsume Xiao: If separated will Titan spawn be changed to be more friendly. Will the red zone be cahnged? [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Do my Havok7 testing ninjas know? [18:47] Corsi Mousehold: our base has alot of entry points that would make us very vulnerable. Four points and the size of the base takes up the entire Southwest quarter of the sim. [18:49] Aryte Vesperia: Any indication H7 will do anything? [18:49] Niiya Narayan: I honestly don't see the issue with vunerability, as we're all here just to have fun anyway... so what if people get into the base? that just makes it more fun in my opinion. [18:49] Typhon Perun: There is also the doorway that leads outside the build area someone could wander in to, unless that's been fixed. [18:49] Nikki4 Aquitaine: The only problem I see is this sim isn't really designed for single sim combat, it's a bit out of scale and so there aren't a great deal of places in the sim that break line of sight. The north bunker for example could gun down the entire frontline [18:49] Tsume Xiao: I dont think anything should be done based on Havoc 7, because the actual roll out may be different from beta [18:49] FireFox Breed: So far there is some signs preformence is better [18:50] Corsi Mousehold: I agree with you Niiya. But we don't exactly want to make it easy for them. [18:50] Aryte Vesperia: On sim crossing? [18:50] FireFox Breed: They also are aware of the sim corssing issues along with several other thing. Osker has commented they are working on it and will look into it with more detail [18:50] Aryte Vesperia: Any hint of a roll out date? [18:51] Ethan Schuman: I may be wise to wait. We don't actually lose anything other than a little bit of fun in combat by waiting, and if we DO move now, it's not only $100 to move Chronus away, but another $100 to move it back if they do fix it. [18:51] FireFox Breed: They where pushing to find as many bugs as possable because the update is coming in several weeks [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: Mm. [18:51] FireFox Breed: along the lines o f"if you got anything to report, ow is the time before it goes live" [18:51] Aryte Vesperia: I'll give that a looksy, then. [18:51] Ethan Schuman: And since we have Disembodied on retainer, we don't have to worry about you spending that money on more new uniforms, so we should be just fine. =p [18:52] Eriksson Foxtrot: The only major thing I do see if we seperate the sim is the lag. Major attacks that TAC like to do would kill the sim pretty bad. I am sure it's been previously discussed, so I won't go further into it. [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: The lag is caused heavily by the sim transitions. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Hummm. Thank you for the input. I'll look at the H7 angle. [18:54] Typhon Perun: Agreed, we can use when the raid turns return as a example, when they transition in to Titan, from whatever sim they raided, the lagt increases, same with when we get raided, all the incomming fire creates lag here, we see it alot. [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Indeedly do. Open Discussion [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: And that's all from me tonight. Open floor. Topics? [18:55] femme Lisa: *has a comment* [18:55] Aryte Vesperia: Ms. Lisa? [18:56] femme Lisa: the best way to reduce lag border is to ask Linden Research to place both regions on the same server [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: .. hm. [18:56] Aryte Vesperia: I heard rumors of that. [18:56] femme Lisa: it is true [18:57] femme Lisa: I have had it done more than once [18:57] Aryte Vesperia writes that down. "I will ask Concierge about it. That'd be pretty cool." [18:57] femme Lisa: there are 4 regions per server [18:57] Typhon Perun: Missed that over here sir. [18:58] Aryte Vesperia: The comment was: [18:56] femme Lisa: the best way to reduce lag border is to ask Linden Research to place both regions on the same server [18:58] Nikki4 Aquitaine: They'll probably charged you 5k USD for that though [18:58] Typhon Perun: THat would make the best sense. [18:58] femme Lisa: yes [18:58] Aryte Vesperia: Probaby, Nikki. Lol. [18:58] femme Lisa: nope but I hope you get TJ on the phone [18:58] femme Lisa: he;s the best at it from what I noticed [18:58] Typhon Perun: It's all about the money...bleh. [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: I will certainly give it a try. [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you for bringing it up, Femme. [18:59] femme Lisa: yw [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: Any other topics for this evening? Meeting Closer [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: Very good then. Promotions will be up tomorrow. Raid hosted in a short bit. [18:59] Aryte Vesperia: Have a good night and dismissed. [18:59] Aryte Vesperia clasps his fist to his chest, presenting a salute.

[17:57] Jason Backer: Insidiae has aids. Backwards. [17:57] Jason Backer: Wait no [17:57] Jason Backer: AWW [17:57] Desereck Creeggan: Aidis [17:57] Zabimato Outlander: I will hurt you... [17:57] Jason Backer: I'm logging off in shame [17:58] Dascede Aluveaux: rofl [17:58] Eriksson Foxtrot: eaidisnI [17:58] Mercury: Lost contact: Jason Backer

~ORDO IMPERIALIS~ OFFICIAL DOCUMENT <=====================Extend to this length=========================> <===========================================================> **********Meeting Report********** NAME/RANK/DIVISION: Dascede Aluveaux | O-1; Triplicarius | Astra ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DATE: 29 May 2010 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUBJECT: General issues for discussion ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUMMARY: Evening gathering for the week took place. ============================================================ CHAT LOG: Meeting Opener [17:59] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Good evening everyone and welcome to this week’s meeting. [18:00] Aryte Vesperia: Per the norm, please be certain to hold all questions and comments until provided the opportunity to speak. Interruptions will result in dismissal from the gathering. When you are provided the chance to speak, be sure to /shout/ your comments or questions—otherwise the recorder may not hear you. Thank you: let’s get started. Imperator's Report [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: To begin, our weekly statistics: Personnel Members: 297 Cadets: 7 Applications New: 15 Accepted: 3 Denied: 10 Review: 2 Combat Defensive: 79 Offensive: 10 [18:01] Aryte Vesperia: Diplomatic report for this week . . . oh my; not quite sure where to begin. It has been rather eventful, to say in the least. Foremost, the Iron Symphony was viciously attacked by an unknown party—through defrauding Linden Labs and sending stolen Linden to the heads of the IS, Anthony Lehane, Lurdan Huszar, and I were all suspended. [18:02] Aryte Vesperia: Due to my relationship with Linden Labs as a Concierge member, I was able to more effectively demonstrate innocence. Huszar and Lehane are still up in the air, leaving the Merczateers a bit vulnerable. As mentioned upon my return, we will be devoting significant attention to the Merczateers to ensure their stability in the coming days. Tomorrow’s officer meeting will be focusing on this. [18:04] Aryte Vesperia: There were mixed responses to the attack on the IS—Valor, for example, outright disrespected the Symphony and is rumored to have attempted to maximize the damage by sending false abuse reports on IS officers. On the other hand, both the CS and 2142 relatively backed off on combat throughout the week. In general, really, most groups stayed out of our hair and likely will continue to be a bit quiet as the situation continues on. [18:06] Aryte Vesperia: I appreciate everyone’s patience and ask that it continues as we work to understand what has occurred and fight to ensure the sanctity of the Merczateers. Divisional Reports [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Unit reports this evening? [18:07] Sosarin Demar raises his hand. [18:07] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Demar. Astra [18:07] Sosarin Demar: Combat participation is moderate. Nikki4 Aquitaine hosted her first league match this week. I strongly encourage more participation in future matches -- details are sticky'd in the forum. Training queue is static but all immediates have been taken care of. I hope to see our NCO and officer base continue working on personal projects to make Astra more efficient and lively. A lot has landed on my table and I am quite pleased with the idea generation, roster improvements, organizational observations, etc. Keep at it! I promise to help tend to these projects further as needed on my part, but I am going through a move of sorts from my apartment so I have been occupied. Apologies for that delay. Anyway, that concludes this week's report for Astra. Terra [18:08] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Terra by unit; your Legate is missing. Cohors A? [18:08] Keller Teichmann raises his hand. [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Invictus; Mr. Teichmann. [18:09] Keller Teichmann: "A rather busy week for Invictus, with numerous raids and killhouse sessions to keep the squad in top shape. Very impressive raids on several targets led to victories, and in short, an excellent week all in all." [18:09] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Insidiae or Antesignani present? [18:10] Aryte Vesperia: Cohors B, then. [18:11] Aryte Vesperia: Is a representative present to deliver? [18:11] Arokh Takakura raises his claw "I can speak for B-III, but that is all?" [18:12] Aryte Vesperia: Go ahead. [18:13] Arokh Takakura: Tidying up a large amount of inactivities, 3 new members. Interviewing everyone in Liberatrix in turn to find a direction for the unit, raid planning for this weekend was cancelled due to lack of interest. Hopfully better luck next week. [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:13] Aryte Vesperia: Representative from C? [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Very well. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional reports this evening? [18:14] Agares Tretiak raises his hand. [18:14] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Tretiak. Praetorian Guard [18:15] Agares Tretiak: The Guard has formally organized its Signa and is now proceeding to enforce its dress code. We're coming up on the induction, though the exact date is a bit fuzzy until I can schedule it. Otherwise, all is running smoothly and well, sir. [18:15] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Last call. Any reports to add? Curia [18:16] Arokh Takakura raises claw for curia. [18:16] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Takakura. [18:17] Arokh Takakura shouts: Apologies for the slow response to curia approval requests and other curia matters, Curia Consul Primus Mckay is predicted to return at some stage after the weekend and the catching up process will begin, clearing out the backlog of paperwork. That is all. [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you. Old Business [18:18] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on. Any old business to bring up for further discussion this evening? [18:19] Agares Tretiak raises his hand. [18:19] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Tretiak. [18:19] Agares Tretiak: Just one issue, and a simple one: Did you recieve my memos on the Honors system, sir? [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: I believe so . . yes. [18:20] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional old business to touch on this evening? [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Very good then. [18:21] Aryte Vesperia: Moving right along. Keynote Topics [18:22] Aryte Vesperia: The first topic to cover tonight is pretty simple: just an open invitation to anyone interested to come join the growing Ordo crowd in the MMO “Allods.” It is a free, fairly well done game that a deal of us have picked up to entertain ourselves during off hours—it is relatively low intensity on CPU, so many simply run it in the background between the hordes of attackers. It is a good opportunity to spend some time and get to know other members. And as a side note for those of you currently playing the game: please do not get too sucked in, you have things to do here, haha. If you have any questions, you can see . . uhh. The Minister of Allods Relations, Xayvien Rau. [18:22] Mokosh Pawpad: Hi5! [18:23] Kraton Foxtrot raises a paw. [18:23] Aryte Vesperia: Aye? [18:23] Kraton Foxtrot: What sort og game/genre is it? [18:23] Kraton Foxtrot: of* [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Not going to spend a big part of the meeting bantering about it; nudge Xayvien if you're curious. [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Movin' on: [18:24] Kraton Foxtrot: Will do, after the meeting. *nod* [18:24] Aryte Vesperia: Earlier this week the first of the armored academies was held by me personally—indications from participants notes it as educational and entertaining, so we will be keeping the modules and turning it over to the Ludi for routine instruction. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you to all of you who participated. Your input was very valuable. The most pressing critique was class size. In the future, the courses will not be held with such a large group of participants at once. [18:25] Aryte Vesperia: For those of you who completed the sessions and are waiting for your distribution of gear, that will be sorted as soon as possible. There was a bit of an unintentional delay with my exile to Siberia. [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:26] Arc Vyper raises hand. [18:26] Vinnie Lei raises hand [18:26] Aryte Vesperia: Yes, Arc. [18:26] Arc Vyper: Will the next classes be tought in local? And when would someone expect them to be up and ready to be taught by Ludi? [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Haha, yes Arc; we can accomodate your handicappedness. As for the second part: not entirely sure. Depends on when the IEA commander is prepared aaand Antesignani can be conscripted to cover the courses. [18:27] Aryte Vesperia: Lei? [18:27] Vinnie Lei: If for some reason a piece of equipment has been reconsidered for an alternative can it be swapped before it actually's been distributed? [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Send me a notecard after the meeting. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Any other questions? [18:28] Vinnie Lei: Yessir. [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: Next: [18:28] Aryte Vesperia: A bit of an update on Disembodied Hand’s work load—having had some setbacks himself offline, he has really gotten down to work on our projects over the last couple of days. Going forward, he will be devoting increased amounts of work hours to turn out our items to make up for lost time. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: As of yesterday, Mr. Hand completed our new BDU order. The attire will be distributed in two forms: a Schola and a normal set. The Schola set will have definite cadet labeling on the back. In addition, we will be releasing a general issue set for everyone: it may be utilized for day to day wear, “duty gear.” Light combat, defense work, general work . . . work. The armor will be more for intensive combat and deployments. [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Questions there? [18:29] Exterminatus Footman raises his hand. [18:29] Vinnie Lei raises hand [18:29] Aryte Vesperia: Footman? [18:29] Exterminatus Footman: Is there an exact release date planned? [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Probably tomorrow, unless I have the opportunity to tonight. [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Lei? [18:30] Vinnie Lei: I'm sure everyone can still wear their armor/formal/bdu if the situation permits so (eg, on sim, battle, etc)? [18:30] Aryte Vesperia: Of course. [18:31] Arc Vyper raises hand. [18:31] Arc Vyper: Would the BDU's be meeting-wear, as well? [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Yes? [18:31] MikeMurdock McMillan raises hand [18:31] Aryte Vesperia: Mm, unless it would be a formal gathering-- if we wanted to be sticklers, you should be wearing formal attire here. But in general, it would be fine for normal gatherings. [18:32] Arc Vyper: Thank you [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: McMillan? [18:32] MikeMurdock McMillan: will there be rules set up for this like can we wear the bdu with the armor or the standred bodysuit must be worn with the armor? [18:32] Aryte Vesperia: .. hmmmmmmm. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: I'll have to see how it looks with the armor before giving the OK with that! [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: I'll see. [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: Movin' on: [18:33] Aryte Vesperia: As mentioned during the last meeting, I have extended the combat deployment authorities and clarified each tier as to who can attack what and what approvals are required to send out an assault team. [18:34] Aryte Vesperia: With Tactica’s assistance, I will be designating groups under the following tiers: T1: Authority clearance restricted to [i-1]. T2: Authority clearance restricted to at least [O-1] – [O-5]. T3: Authority clearance restricted to at least [E-8]. T4: Authority clearance restricted to at least [E-5] to [E-7] with explicit observation or approval of at least an [O-1]. [18:35] Aryte Vesperia: This should make the assessments provided by Tactica more valuable, allowing battlefield commanders to, at a glimpse, determine which groups holds a higher threat level. Furthermore, it will be more malleable and allow us to change which groups are open for attack based upon battlefield intelligence. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Any raid leader should be sure to check this list prior to looking for a target: it will be modified often as sim builds, personnel, and assessments come in. In the future, I hope to link each group to Tactica readout, that way a member can simply click and reference any details. [18:36] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:36] zanndor Aeon raises hand [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Aeon? [18:37] zanndor Aeon: What does the T1-4 mean [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Levels of authority. [18:37] Aryte Vesperia: Tier 1, 2, 3, 4. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Does that answer you? [18:38] zanndor Aeon: Yeah [18:38] zanndor Aeon: Thank you. [18:38] Aryte Vesperia: Welcome. Any other questions? [18:39] Radryl Allen raises a hand. [18:39] Aryte Vesperia: Allen? [18:40] Radryl Allen: Will Tactica readouts also give notions on weapon using based on the enemy terrain and usual forces, Sir? [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: I would suspect so. If not, probably will be now after Ron read's this chat log. Haha. [18:41] Aryte Vesperia: Moving on: [18:42] Aryte Vesperia: This upcoming Monday is a holiday for a lot of us—Memorial Day, commemorating the men and women past and present serving in the armed forces. Per tradition, the Ordo Imperialis will be taking the day as a stand-down. We will be honoring military service of all countries on that day. The region will be set to no damage, but remain open: we will welcome other militaries to visit us and simply use the opportunity to build community ties. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Proper military attire will be necessary, so keep your uniforms on. We will be continuing administrative functions—I will spend the day catching up on work, personally. Otherwise, I wish everyone the absolute best. For those of you who will be running off to family functions or otherwise: have a great holiday. Otherwise, I look forward to spending the time with you all – we’ll keep it lively, especially to honor several members in the Ordo who are current or former service members. [18:43] Aryte Vesperia: Questions? [18:44] Arokh Takakura raises claw. [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Takakura? [18:44] Arokh Takakura shouts: Will we be holding a moment's radio/chatter silence to honour those fallen? [18:44] Aryte Vesperia: I support that. Sounds good. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Next! [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Combat this evening: I will give the field a look-sy and see what’s going down. Either I or an appointed minion will take up the raid in a short bit. Simply stick on map if you are interested in a deployment opportunity. [18:45] Aryte Vesperia: Aaaand lastly from me, a special mention. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: With the retirement of Guardsmen Kupferberg, an Evocati role was left vacant within the Praetorians. [18:46] Aryte Vesperia: It is my pleasure to approve and affirm the appointment of Guardsmen Forte to the position of Evocati. Congratulations. [18:47] Steeltael Lykin applauds [18:47] Karlhockey Forte: Thank you sir. I will continue to serve is honor under you. [18:47] Karlhockey Forte: under honor* [18:47] Karlhockey Forte: soemthing [18:47] Aryte Vesperia: Close enough. [18:48] Karlhockey Forte: (Parental agro causing typing issues) [18:48] Aryte Vesperia: Haha. Open floor. Topics? Open Discussion [18:48] Tiridates Mikadze raises his hand. [18:49] Aryte Vesperia: Mr. Mikadze. [18:49] Arokh Takakura: [Please shout] [18:50] Tiridates Mikadze: Ladies and Gentlemen, Brothers and Sisters, esteemed children of the Ordo Imperialis. A blow has been struck against our heart, as you all know. Lethal? No, certainly not, but it is a savage, and lowly thing, the work of cowards and the lowest, I dare say most criminal elements, within our turbulent little community. But do not fear, my friends. They have opened themselves to the most grievous of retrobution in daring to sink so low. We are silent, but we are not idle in the Agentes in Rebus. These craven curs who's hubris is only matched by their cowardice will be found, and exposed to the light, as have all our enemies. God help them when we find them, for no-one else shall. [18:51] Tiridates Mikadze: As you have seen, we have not been disrupted in this crisis, things have moved smoothly and without a hitch, and that is thanks to the dedication of you all to your duties. We have shown the community that we cannot be beheaded, and that something that would set most other militaries back hasn't even phased us. You all have been indispensible in this, without your loyalty and dedication to discipline, it would not have happened. [18:52] Tiridates Mikadze: But now is the time to be cautious, our enemy may decide to strike against us again, having failed once. And still, Aryte, the Administration, and the Agentes in Rebus require your dedication and hard work. We can and will come out stronger, and more resolved than ever before, with your help. How can you help? By continuing to display the discipline and professionalism that has set us apart. By letting the Agentes in Rebus, the Curia, and the Praetorians know of any threats you know to be coming, within or without. By doing as you have always done: march forward, and serve with honor and distinction. You are, and will remain, the greatest strength of this great organization, and together, united, we can never be stopped. [18:53] Tiridates Mikadze: In Vitae Victoria: Ave Imperator. Gloria Imperialis. [18:53] Aryte Vesperia: Thank you, Mr. Mikadze. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Any additional topics for the evening? Meeting Closer [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Very well then; promotions will be sorted and PRFs up by tomorrow. Thank you all for a good meeting. [18:54] Aryte Vesperia: Have a great night. [19:31] Aryte Vesperia shouts: "Greetings Aryte, Thank you for contacting Linden Lab Billing. For various security issues, your account was put on hold. We reviewed your account and removed the L$950 gifted to your account by another avatar whose account had been compromised. We have also removed the block on your account. You should now be able to login without any trouble. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Best regards, Linden Lab Billing" [19:32] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Over the course of my career, I have been targeted . . time and time again. We have been targeted. By content theft, personal attacks, and now . . defrauding of Linden Labs. [19:32] Aryte Vesperia shouts: And yet, every time, the actions have served to be nothing more than minor speed bumps. [19:33] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Once again, someone who sought to do us harm has failed. Once again, the perpetrator has done nothing more but solidify my resolve and the resolve of the organization. [19:33] Aryte Vesperia shouts: To be blunt, my "forced vacation" has instilled with me an even stronger desire to get out there and provide any member of the community who wished us ill a courteous "fuck you." [19:35] Aryte Vesperia shouts: I intend to do this by spearheading our group efforts forward, moving to systematically complete all outstanding projects within a timely manner. Furthermore, I will be continuing my efforts at assessing the letters and complaints provided to me -- answering the ideas projected to me by all of you. [19:36] Aryte Vesperia shouts: We will ot sit idly by and allow this transgression to stall or provide any disdain among our organization. We will not preoccupy ourselves with this matter or the insult other's have provided us: our AiR special services and additional investigative staff will pursue the matter, while the remainder of us focus on internal development and providing a clear message to the community. [19:36] Aryte Vesperia shouts: That message is pretty simple: [19:37] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Bring it on. [19:37] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Our allies, the Merczateers, remain in a perilous state-- Lurdan Huszar and Anthony Lehane have not yet been released from their suspensions. We are unaware what will occur as of this moment. [19:38] Aryte Vesperia shouts: We will step in as their brothers and ensure the Merczateers are supported in every way manageable. I will be devoting my time personally and my funding, if necessary, to ensure the security of their region. [19:38] Aryte Vesperia shouts: I will be asking my Guard and Administration to head up a detail, providing military support for their region 24 hours a day. [19:39] Aryte Vesperia shouts: It is really too early to tell what will become of Lurdan and Anthony-- but as their friend and a staunch supporter of the Merczateers, I can pledge we will do everything in our power to ensure they come out of this attack as solid as possible. [19:40] Aryte Vesperia shouts: I ask you all to prepare for a potentially rough road ahead. You must put aside whatever tribulations may lie here: do not allow in fighting or squabbles dictate your actions. [19:41] Aryte Vesperia shouts: We must be solid and entirely undivided. I ask that you all, if anything does exist, to forgive your brothers here -- and abroad, if any strife exists with the Merczateers. [19:41] Aryte Vesperia shouts: We need one another now. Whether or not we like it, our destiny is intertwined with the Merczateers. A blow to them is a blow to us. [19:42] Aryte Vesperia shouts: For years, we have stood with one another-- and again, we stand against the entirety of the grid. Militarily, and, as we've now been demonstrated: beyond militarily. [19:43] Aryte Vesperia shouts: In closing, I wish to state my sincere appreciation for all of you. Your support was beyond heartwarming. [19:43] Aryte Vesperia shouts: I thank you, all of you, for offering your assistance and well wishes. [19:43] Aryte Vesperia shouts: You are all wonderful and true friends to me. [19:45] Aryte Vesperia shouts: With your support and our renewed vigor, we will overcome /everything that lies before us. I have no doubt in that. For the remainder of the night, I will be declaring a professional holiday. We will continue administrative functions, but will spend the night celebrating-- not my return-- but the greatness of this group. Please remain uniformed. [19:45] Aryte Vesperia shouts: Thank you. [19:45] Aryte Vesperia clasps his fist to his chest, presenting a salute.
