Well, we also won every raid, so at least it was a good solid system for the time. Also good ol' Eye Korobase, Dagger Exonar, Diablos Korobase (this is not a very lucky last name) and assorted other cartoon characters that used to be part of the ranks.

This is for the other old fogies out there to wax nostalgic, and for new blood to learn what things were like in the old days. I was a warrant officer for like 8 months and then got promoted to O-1. It was nice when they got rid of it because then I went from O-1 to O-3 overnight. Granted, nobody's ranks actually changed, but if you pretended real hard, it felt like a super-promotion. :D
