  2. "looks a bit like something Leni Riefenstahl would make, if the Axis was largely comprised of furries" LOL
  3. That's the most creative artistic "photograph" I've seen in a looooong time. Stunning creativity, really. Dunno, when I opened it, it just hit me.
  4. And yes, he does read our forums :P When I first began negotiations, he asked me about my forum sig.
  5. I have terrible news sir, we're going to need a transplant. It appears your heart has a terrible tumor.
  6. Ribena, for being the most awesome dude I've known in Second Life as well as a down-to-earth and loyal friend. Aryte, for doing everything he does for as long as he has in such a selfless manner (he's either the most patient and selfless guy I know, or he's waiting for John Connor to join Ordo). And to everyone else, for being awesome people and kickass comrades.
  7. Ethan, I think the point we made in reopening combat with Sparta was to be above personal squabbles and to refuse to give him any rational basis for continuing his cowardly bans. However, in light of recent events, an IS blockade could be a rational response, though I think the Mercz would be the ones to decide if that's the proper course of action. After all, it is one of their members who has been subject to the worst of Bruno's threats and excess. My personal suggestion would be to give Bruno the option of allowing conditionless combat with all IS forces and to end his attacks on Delia/Ivy, or to face an IS blockade. I think his actions are grave enough to even convince some outside of the IS to take part in the blockade. It must be kept in mind that our initial generous offer to reopen combat with Sparta was made before Bruno went as far as he did. Furthermore, our offer as it stands was never meant to be a permanent agreement.
  8. ^ posts on this thread a lot < looking forward to a 7 hour flight back tomorrow. \o/ v likes big butts and they cannot lie
  9. Suppose the only natural thing to do is to start a "Standing LOLs" thread then.
  10. That's what talking to Aryte is for :O And love the idea of the standing orders thread.
  11. I have your Starbucks. I will require ten million dollars in unmarked bills if you ever want to see your precious coffee again!

  12. Aye, hence my point that the tech is already done, LL would only really need to do minimal work to get this into SL as a working feature. Of course, knowing LL, they'd somehow manage to make this a grid-wide security breach or something by the time they got around to implementing it xD
  13. WHY AS A MATTER OF FACT I AM :O

  14. Very wary about llTeleportAgent() and the ability to change the hitbox, those could definitively be abused. There would have to be major restrictions on those for those to not majorly fuck up SL combat. And in terms of sculpty flexis, I really don't see why this is already done. The tech to do this is out there (as opposed to something that might even be better, such as Steff's suggestion), all they really have to do is release it. In terms of the detail of flexi sculpties, just make it like EVERY OTHER graphics intensive process and give users the ability to select different levels of detail :/
  15. I don't really see why we need to lock the subject. There have been some good points on both sides, no need to artifically end discussion. And in terms of getting to attack Sparta, it'll evventually happen. It's just a matter of them having enough men on when we're looking for targets to attack, and for Jaxx and Wasaac being on when they are a good target. Like any enemy, we're not in any rush to attack them when they only have 2 men on base.
  16. I would note that the difference here is that while one individual essentially committed fraud and then joined an unrelated organization, the other individual used this fraud to further his own organization. I could care less if Delia joined Mercz, that's their issue to deal with. If she's guilty, she's guilty; the fact that she is a Merczateer is irrelevant. This fraud is in no way related to the Merczateers themselves, nor did it benefit them. The fact remains that the leader of Sparta used fraud to benefit himself and his organization. I think this issue of fraud and personal issues remains irrelevant to the new combat situation between Sparta and Ordo. It's merely an extension of the discussion of the issues Sparta continues to have in both its external and internal affairs. If we're going to be fighting them, might as well discuss who we're dealing with here.
  17. hahaha, funniest thing I've read all week. Bravo, sir.
  18. Whether the cost is shared among multiple individuals or not, the fact remains that Bruno abused the charity system for his own purposes. Whether or not additional fault lies in those who helped him, he has, from what I know of the situation, used dishonest means to further his own military financially. As I have said before, I have no interest in judging or commenting on Bruno's personal life.
  19. When I referred to possibly illegal activities, I was referring to Bruno's abuse of LL's charity sim discounts in what essentially amounts to fraud. As the NJWJ article notes, he'll most likely end up being billed retroactively for the money he has avoided paying LL dishonestly by declaring his sim to be for "charity use".
  20. Wasaac, I think that in the end, whether you characterize it as "bitching" or not, this is Ordo's forum where Ordo members are free to express their various opinions in a wide variety of manners. If such comments were in the NJWJ or in public chat, they would not be acceptable. And in terms of some of Bruno's actions being excusable under the fact that it is "his military" and that "he puts his money into it", I very much disagree. It is perfectly within our right to point out where Bruno's own rules and behavior are draconian (and thus hurt the military community), as well as instances where his behavior is dishonest or outright illegal.
