I believe the hostility has come from your take on this in the past. Many hostiles have been killed for doing this. I specifically recall Mikael being engaged in the spawn for alt-camming around base. Back in 2008, as I recall, you considered an act of reconaisance to be an act of hostility. Could you clarify?

To all the ordo: Some (or many) of you know this already. When the estate gets set to access (ordo only), there is a bug in SL server code that pseudobans random people from the estate, something that remains even after the estate has been reopened. The person will not show up on the ban list for the land or the estate, but any attempts to TP into Titan or Chronus are met with "Cannot enter the region: you are banned." If you get this message, ask for an estate admin to BAN YOU then UNBAN YOU. It resets the pseudoban. If you are an estate manager, your help is, as always very much appreciated. Many times this has put me in a public infohub in full ordo gear (not fun!). I point you to this just to make sure you understand (I've had to explain this a few times, and its happened to others, so it's not just me). That is all.

To avoid confusion with the European/American difference in dates, I propose we format dates as the Imperator has done for ages, that is instead of 13/1/10, or 1/13/10, we use 13JAN10. No one can get confused, and it is A LOT (from personal experience) more readable. Thoughts?

Lets think of it like this. Most of the people in the world use Firefox or Internet Explorer. If the website looks poorly on these, then we look poorly. Its installed, the people that like it, have fun with it, we aren't removing it. However, this is the first thing a cadet will see when he registers. I don't want him to see a website that doesn't look well. Those of you voting...realize, we aren't voting whether to use it. Anyone can use it. We are voting what is the default. Because of this, as a web admin, I believe it is my duty to vote a firm strict "no" and suggest all others to do likewise.

Anyone using any version of Internet Explorer can die in a fire, btw. If you are trying out the new skin on that, you've got no grounds to talk :/

This has gotten out of hand lately. Its not funny, it is rude. By speaking out of turn you are disrespecting who ever is speaking, mostly Aryte. Don't like the new skin, too distracting. Fury works great as is. If you do keep it, turn off transparency, hurts readability. I have no issues with running Firefox, make sure you are running the latest (3.5.7 as of 09JAN10). Google Chrome is /slightly/ better than Firefox regarding Acid 3 standards, but not by much. Neither passes it. Only Safari 4, Opera 10, Epiphany 2.28, and Iris Browser 1.1.4 pass. :/ DOUBLE POST: Any skin which goes so far as to use Acid3 standards is too flashy for forums use, in my humble opinion.

Perhaps, but very often the two leaders are redundant, so having a third might be more than necessary. Plus, we have a small selection of bilinguals, and we'd be stretching them thin with constantly having them on watch. Furthermore, the most used 2nd language on SL, Brazilian (I'm kidding, it's Portuguese) isn't spoken by any ordo, to my knowledge.

Actually...typically this is the role of the SoG. When officers like Tiridates or Agares take command, they have the SoG act as the greeter, in a sense. The SoG micromanages, while the OIC macromanages. Since greeting falls as a micro task, the SoG should be handling it anyways :/
