I signed up like, almost a year ago. I thought it'd be a more open beta than that, but I suppose I was wrong, now wasn't I?

Got a weekend pass. Not gonna use it. STO goes free to play in January. Planetside 2 is on the way. Tribes: Ascend is in Closed Beta. Blacklight: Retribution is in Closed Beta. Firefall is...well Ffff, I dunno. I see nothing special with this game, besides the little added pieces, like fully-voiced gameplay and a shiny BIOWARE sticker on it. I didn't even like KOTOR that much. I was a Mass Effect fanboy. All I see is another Star Wars game that maintains all of the fluidity that WoW used to have.

In my opinion, the term "Tactical" indicates that a weapon can be modified or adjusted to suit a specific purpose, whether it's on the field, or before an operation. In comparison to a more specific design, that's only meant for a single, specific goal. Example...Ffff it, let's say the M4 / AR15 framework. Depending on the situation you face, there are MANY customizable options to put onto an AR15 body to meet a specific purpose. You need a CQB weapon? install a shorter barrel, foregrip, flip-down sights, EOtech, etc. You need something with a bit more range? Swap to a 7.62 receiver, get a heavier barrel, attach a scope, etc etc. You get the idea. In comparison to something like...let's say a Barrett M107. Although it's possible that someone out there could make a "Tactical" version of it, it's highly unlikely due to its intended purpose. It serves as an "Anti-Material Rifle", and not much else. Can't really do CQB with it, and it can't really fit the role of a standard infantry rifle or a DMR.

It's most-likely the Router itself that's finally dying out. I know from experience that ISP's specifically sell their own routers to people that have horrid tendencies to go dead after a year or two of use, that way you have to call them up and buy a new $50 replacement. My brother and I literally have to sit there and WATCH ISP dudes come over and install our shit, so that we know nothing was botched. We're both Network / IT / Tech Support dweebs anyway, and half of the time we can score deals with the ISP to get faster internet for a lower price for like a year.

Not Modern = Rubbish? Let me know if he comes around again. That way I can smack him in the face with a brick and ask him how effective it was.

Not bad for like, 12 hours of total gameplay time, right?

Long-story short: Mark hates every modern FPS to-date because he can't play them on that silly Prison Island known as Australia.

Is there a PC version? :O If not, then I suppose i'll just be saving up some cash and power-buying a PS3 and this bundle all at once. Kojima makes ASTOUNDING stories, and I loved MGS 2 and 3. Pretty willing to play the originals too.

Can't wait until Tsume makes an Orbital Sim-Wipe cannon for those types of moments that emits a cool, shortening laser (Like the Hammer of Dawn from GoW) that yells "MAZEL TOV!" before suddenly vaporizing all life. Or Locusts. That'd be amusing too.
