Keystone Gray
Borderlands: Skipping Scenes! Wouldn't be the first time I've killed Bink.Navigate to this folder:\Valve\Steam\steamapps\common\borderlands\WillowGame\MoviesCreate a folder in the Movies folder called Off.Cut and paste the following files into the Off folder:2K_logo.bikAttract.bikGearbox_logo.bikNVidia.bikPrelude.bikVoG_Transition_Movie.bikConsider the beast slaughtered. Easiest boss in the game. Edited May 5, 2013 by Xoza
RazorFox
Do you know if this would work for the unskippable scenes in Need for Speed: Shift?
Anlysia Gregoire
Note that the next time Borderlands checks if its' files are intact, it'll re-download all these movies.Better method is to actually disable them in the config file. Keystone Gray
Anlysia: It hasn't done that to me yet. I've had this setup for the last ten times I've booted up Borderlands.Zrazor: It will work for Shift if Shift uses Bink Video. Bink files are attributed to the .bik file extension. Given that, there isn't a single game I've run into that uses Bink video that won't let you do this. Battlefield 2, for example, had those annoying unskippable logo cutscenes. This method will work for that, as well. Knowing which files to remove, however, is the hard part. You'll need RAD Video Tools 1.2 to see what the video contains, because there are some cutscenes you won't want to remove for whatever reason (for example, the final cutscene of Borderlands, or Battlefield 2's menu background). Anlysia Gregoire
As soon as it gets patched or whatever it'll redownload them all. May not be for awhile, dunno.
Keystone Gray
PC players? Getting patches for a console port?I lol'd and then sadfaced. :( They've patched Borderlands on X-Box multiple times, yet haven't even touched the PC version. Anlysia Gregoire
I've had exactly one crash so far in PC Borderlands, so, I don't really NEED any patches...
